The property is beautiful and feels luxurious from the moment you enter the property. Large infinity pool was exceptional and so were the restaurants. Staff very attentive, rooms beautiful and clean. Welcome treat with chocolates and Champagne was great!

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Everything was excellent. Loved the breakfast and that setting looking out over the infinity pool at the sea just brings a smile every time.

One of the best hotels weve ever used. It had a stunning view. The pool was an infinity pool overlooking the sea. It was possible to swim in the sea as well by accessing a patio area located across the road. It was close to town for shopping and dining options. Breakfast was amazing. I would highly recommend!

Breakfast buffet was wonderful, pool areas were beautiful, the service was spectacular and the rooms were comfy and well-appointed. The view from the pool area was amazing and we loved the location close to the Agios Nikolaus lake and wonderful restaurants.

Amazing hotel with awesome view and great staff! I have travelled 45 countries and this hotel is first class! Get a room with a pool! Live dj at the pool everyday. Breakfast rocks. Stayed 8 days -loved it!

Rooms have both air con and a fan which is welcome in the heat, the usual iron/hairdryer etc and a great shower. The main pool area is really nice, 5 pools clustered together of varying sizes. There was never a trouble for sunbeds no matter when turning up to the pool which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. There was also a nice outside gym area, not a ton of equipment but enough for a holiday.

I wanted a place with a hot pool, got there and plunge pool was cold - they have no heating for it. Staff were very kind and helpful and transferred me to room with private jacuzzi which was great.😎 Big property and great swimming pool. They have a group exercise training session with an instructor in the outdoor gym every day which is cool. Very relaxing place, with amazing views.

The cleanliness.of the whole resort was exceptional. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. Special mention to Marius and Gabriella. The pool area was fantastic. 3 different sized pools which lit up spectacularly at night. Great pool bar which was open until 11pm. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

The pool area was lovely, with lots of comfortable sun loungers, the food and drinks around the pool were nice, but very expensive. The room had an amazing sea view with a hot tub, the beds were very comfortable and spacious. All the staff were super friendly and attentive.

We stayed in a maisonette with Sea View and Jacuzzi which was fantastic - loads of space both inside and out and very quiet. Pool area is fantastic with plenty of beds and lots of pools to choose from. All the staff at the property were exceptional. Water was provided for rooms every evening - our housekeeper Elena was always so happy and smiling. Had a fabulous massage in the spa Easy to walk to Elounda for a good variety of bars and restaurants although we preferred Plaka which is a little further in the opposite direction - great tavernas with stunning views of the bay and Spinalonga

The accommodation was fantastic. Right on the beach. Beautiful pool. Chairs at the beach. Fabulous buffet breakfast. One of best we have ever. Spa in the room. Serviced every day. Beach towels. A bottle of wine on arrival and fruit plate. Little bottles of shampoo conditioner body wash. Even a restaurant bar at the beach, no complaints. Fantastic views to beach from your room. Elevator straight to beach

Great room, heated private pool, room facilities were modern and very comfortable. Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Everything was exceptionally maintained. Ya Mas breakfast fantastic, as was the buffet breakfast. Buffet restaurant had a great selection and great variation/themes on different nights.

Our room was very spacious and nicely furnished. Very clean with a large walk-in double rainshower. We had a large patio with a beautiful view of the sea. Great pool with bar area and a nice private beach for the hotel guests. The variety of food served at the restaurant is excellent and delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated about 10 km from Agios Nikolaos. Taxis are easy to arrange and not expensive.

The hotel has a private beach that is well equipped with sun loungers. Snack kiosk and the mini bar make it all perfect. The beauty and facilities at the pool are amazing as well. Visited the hotel in October, facilities were enough to cater for everyone. The room was perfectly big and comfortable. Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet were well coordinated and had variety with hard working staff.

A very short drive to the main town, with lots of fantastic restaurants. Our host was incredible. We felt very looked after, and nothing was too much. The house was immaculate and modern. The mid week clean was a nice bonus. Beautiful views and the villa facilities were excellent. Lots of space for us a family of 4. My teenage boys loved the basket ball court and pool! We would definitely book again.

We loved everything about the property. It’s in a fantastic location - close to some nice tavernas, 5min drive to Agios Nikolaos (€10 taxi) and Elounda also not far away. We loved the pool area, and the various chill out areas. It’s nice and spacious and worked well for our group of 6. Most special about the whole stay was our incredible host, who could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Thank you!

The villa was absolutely fabulous inside and out, lots of different terraces to sit on with great comfy seating. The pool was brilliant, breathtaking views all round. Manolis was the best host ever he couldn’t have been more helpful he helped us organise everything, we had a huge welcome pack on arrival, beautiful gardens. Would definitely return and would recommend this villa to anyone.

The host was amazing and the property had all the amenities one could ask for. Amazing pool, great kitchen and all the needs for entertainment from foos ball to a weight room, basketball court and a sauna. Also a five minute walk to a wonderful beach. Would definitely come back!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Villa Hermoine. It is a beautiful house with amazing views and a lovely pool. Manolis went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even bringing us some Greek treats.

The villa "DIMITRA" had both a private swimming pool and a garden with amazing view. It was located in a quiet area and offered us the relaxation we needed. The rooms were spacious and clean, well equipped and the beds were very comfortable.

The property is very well designed to give the feeling of space and offer lots of different areas for relaxing and to take advantage of the amazing views. The location was a great base for exploring the area and there are plenty of places to eat or supermarkets within a short drive. Anastasia was a lovely host and immediately made us feel welcome. The pool and the villa were spotlessly clean on our arrival and well maintained throughout our two week stay. We can highly recommend a stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

This place is a mini paradise! We were warmly greeted by Anastasia who showed us around and gave us some ideas on where to go. We stayed in the Dimitria villa which is perfect for a couple. It’s extremely clean, spacious, and calm. The private pool and garden with a sea view were such a treat. Wake up early and you will see the most stunning sunrise! While a car is essential to get around, the sea is only a 5-min walk from the villas. There is a small inlet with free loungers on the rocks, away from the busy beaches.

It was very private, peaceful and had amazing views. It was so lovely to have our own pool. Beautiful to watch the sunrise in the morning

Amazing views, fabulous villa, wonderful, lovely host who gave us some delicious homemade Greek food on arrival and midway through the week. Everything was taken care of, the rooms were cleaned regularly, the pool was cleaned every early morning and anything we needed could be arranged. Such lovely, kind hosts.

Stunning views, beautiful pool, very well finished and maintained property, super helpful host who even left us a lovely meal.

We loved staying at Olive Grove - we were made to feel very welcome, all the staff are very helpful and happy to share advice for things to do in Elounda and beyond. The location is central and well equipped for a family stay. The pool bar serves fresh and reasonably priced food and drinks. The kids loved the pool!

Great apartment with a modern bathroom and 2 balconies. The bar and restaurant downstairs was great for breakfast by the pool, and a cocktail in the evening (special recommendation for Margaritas). Great space and great location close to the beach, shops and restaurants.

Great central location, roomy clean apartment with lovely hosts who were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. Pool was very welcoming to cool off and shaded bar area was perfect to escape the hot sun enjoying a chilled beer. Would definitely return

The villa is spacious and beautifully designed, with stunning views out to sea. We loved the shaded outdoor terrace for dining, and the ample seating around the lovely clean pool. We had the warmest of welcomes from our host Despina, and would highly recommend this villa to anyone.

Despina waited for us at the house and since we arrived after 9pm, she had brought us local food that was absolutely delicious! She also took the time to give us plenty of recommendations (restaurants, beaches, places to visit, etc.). The view from the villa is amazing. The villa is very spacious. The room upstairs has its own bathroom and terrace. They are two rooms downstairs - one with a private terrace (with privacy and a nice view on the sea) and the third one doesn't have windows but is really spacious. The outdoor space is gorgeous - a very clean pool, plenty of space to enjoy the sun, a table to have lunch (in the shade thanks to the pergola). The location is ideal - close to Elounda and to Agios Nikolaos. We really enjoyed our time there. We were only two; my friend and myself, but would definitely come back with more friends. The villa is idea for families, but also for couples/friends as it is very spacious and offers privacy with the private terraces/outdoor space.

This Villa is outstanding!! Absolutely beautiful with every home comfort you could think of. Everything is of the highest quality. The host Despina goes above and beyond to make guests welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. Hot, fresh welcome food waiting for us on arrival was so appreciated after a long journey. She was very easy to contact and helped us very promptly with any queries. The housekeeping is every other day and the property is super clean. Gardeners seem to arrive in the night and the grounds are beautifully tendered and sunbeds re set out every day. Pools are perfect. Very peaceful too. The bar-b-que area in the grounds was cool and spacious. The beds are very comfortable indeed. Had the best sleep. Views over to the mountains and across the water are breathtaking. Our family of 8 adults celebrating birthdays and an engagement had the most memorable time ever. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A lot of places to stay by the beach or the pool, but as always the best spots are to be taken early on! We had booked a bungalow with sea view and got an upgrade with a private pool. The room was very comfortable. The food is delicious, starting with breakfast that has a nice mix of Cretan and continental food, to dinner where we ate all 4 evening at Adeste restaurant: quiet and village-like feel.

The grounds are absolutely stunning, great care has been taken on them and you feel like you’re in an oasis of calm. The staff are incredibly friendly, all restaurants are excellent and though it’s a big place it doesn’t feel like a big resort at all, there’s always space by the pool or beach and it felt very romantic. It far exceeded our expectations and we had seven days of delicious food, crystal waters and total peace

Great Hotel! Specially great food throughout (breakfast, lunch, dinner), not cheap but you get good quality food. Also the hotel facilities (garden, pool, restaurants, beachside/seaside) are one of a kind, very calming, pretty and lots of space for everybody.

Amazing hotel, stunning views. we had a room with its own pool which was amazing. The sun rise over the pool was beautiful and the view of spinalonga was spectacular. The hotel has a good fitness centre and the shuttle bus to Plaka beach was helpful.

Staff were without exception helpful, polite, professional, and extremely friendly. Pool area was stunning and not overcrowded. Room had its own mini pool as well. Excellent breakfast. Main restaurant seemed quite pricey but Plaka village only a short walk where there were a myriad of eating options. Fantastic place and would thoroughly recommend.

We had two wonderful weeks in this amazing place . If you are seeking tranquility, peace , luxury , excellent service , very good food. fabulous views , wonderful staff across the board , private pool rooms then Cayo is the place to be . We cannot praise this wonderful hotel enough ! Having stayed in several hotels in the area with private pool rooms and 5 stars we can say the staff at Cayo resort made our holiday extra special . They went above and beyond . Thank you all so much . We plan to return next September!

Everything was good, location was perfect, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The staff and layout of the hotel made us feel like we were staying in a small boutique hotel rather than a resort. The food was unbelievably good and there was plenty of space/privacy on the beach and around the swimming pool (even though we were there at the height of the summer season). The rooms, restaurant and common areas were tastefully decorated with a level of uniqueness that's hard to find in large resorts. We were sad to leave and will be definitely be back in future years!!

Our room was a small villa comprising two large rooms, two bathrooms and a living room. The private pool on the terrace was amazing, the view too. The hotel is like a small village on the hill, wonderful to walk around and to enjoy the gardens and the views. Two things can be improved: more sunbeds are needed, there is lots of free space at the swimming pools area but not enough sunbeds for people. And dinner quality can be improved, also to be enriched more with local dishes, although dinner quality is still quite good.

Room was lovely and we were upgraded to one with a private pool, although they didn’t mention this when we checked in and I would have liked to have been asked because the upgrade meant we didn’t get the sea view we had specifically booked - our view was one of the swimming pools. Dinner in the a la carte restaurant was exceptionally good and excellent value

The resort was awesome! Apart from the private pool rooms, the rest of the rooms are really good too. There is music during the night, the buffet is espectacular and there are many facilities, like a small supermarket. You can enjoy the different swimming pools and you can reserve different trips to discover amazing places in Crete too. The cleaning ladies were really nice too, it was a pleasure to meet them. Really recommend it!

The hotel was exceptional from the very friendly, courtesy, caring and thoughtful staff to the breathtaking views, beautiful spacious and glorious room (mine had an infinity pool on the balcony). Breakfast buffet and a la carte restaurants were fantastic too! They went to the extra lengths to make my birthday really special. I'll be back!

great stay at Daios Cove. The staff are all very friendly and although it was the start of the season, the resort was beginning to get busy and staff still maintained a good level of service There is a buggy service available from room to main hotel which does come in handy if you have had too good a meal at one of their restaurants. The private pool in the room didn't get enough sunlight so was often cold so the main infinity pool and the private beach were used more. A taxi ride to the resort is around 70 euros or if you don't mind to drive for 50 mins from Herkalion airport then you can hire a car for the trip The gym was a reasonable size and luckily did not get busy during our stay. The wifi was always available in the resort for those who need to update their photos and status. For evenings there was a conference room used as a cinema which was a nice touch to relax after dinner or you could sit up at the Crystal box bar and listen to the DJ music and enjoy some drinks Overall the stay was very relaxing, there was a professional service on offer at all times and I will most likely return again in the near future

I know this area well and for the last few years have wondered if Daios was worthy of its 5 stars. Well now I know- a big yes in my opinion. I splashed out on a short stay in a 2 bed villa with my mum. She has mobility problems and I did think it may prove difficult for her to get around this very hilly resort. I need not have worried, the hotel obliged us by giving us a villa very close to one of the funiculars. When we didn't use that, we called a club car and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes or so. The resort is elegant, understated and beautiful. Our villa was divine, it far surpassed my expectations. Not only stylish, but spacious and comfortable with our own infinity pool. Little touches like a daily treat brought to our room- cheese savouries one day, glacé fruits another, just added to the experience. Service throughout was sublime, all staff we met were friendly and helpful. There was a mix of couples and families of many nationalities. I don't consider the resort very suitable for the elderly or less mobile but as our experience shows, it is manageable. I can't comment on the evening food, but breakfast in the Ocean restaurant was excellent with every taste catered for. We also had a room service lunch which was beautifully served and although expensive, represented reasonable value for a 5 star resort. The beach and main pool looked crowded but there seemed to be room for everyone; the resort was full to capacity. Highly recommended, I loved it.

From the welcome upon arrival right through to an efficient and friendly check out our stay was first class. The members of staff were without exception very friendly and carried out their duties in a very unobtrusive manner. Wherever we were in the hotel the atmosphere was very calming and the style created by the interior designers resulted in a relaxing but also interesting place to be. Our bedroom was elegantly presented and offered space, comfort and views to die for. We had the half board option and again the quality, choice and presentation of the food was excellent. We also went to the taverna restaurant on our last evening and had a very good traditional Greek meal in lovely surroundings. Lazy days spent at the infinity pool and on the beach were idyllic with the star of the show being the view out to sea but the cocktails were a pretty close second! When not feeling lazy we enjoyed a yoga class, use of the gym and played tennis at the top of the resort - a very peaceful setting and easily accessible thanks to the golf buggies driven for you. We can't wait to return to daios cove again for more of the same.

Amazing view from the restaurant! Semi-private pools and one open pool. Nice breakfast. Comfy bed and pillows.

Buffet breakfast is good and varied. Koffie and fruit juices are good too. A wonderful sea view from the covered outside breakfast/pool area. Some rooms have a partially private pool adjoining their room, but these rooms look back toward the hill and not the sea. Very quiet area and only a short 7-8 min. drive from center of Agios Nikolaos.

We’ve stay in a bedroom with shared pool and it was amazing. The main pool was also great. The breakfast was really good and with variety. The hotel has outside parking and a restaurant very close to. The center was only 5min by car. The view is beautiful.

I liked the view best. Terrace for the breakfast and wine in the evening is perfect to enjoy the beautiful sea view. Hotel pool surrounded by olive trees is one of my favourites, too. Room are clean, staff super friendly.

The staff is really friendly and helpful and they speak many languages so it's easy to communicate. The rooms are lovely and the place is really clean. They were cleaning our room every single day. The breakfast has anything you need to start your day. They also have a small but nice swimming pool and sunbeds and tables around. Just a lovely place.

The Naiades Marina hotel is very clean. Room service is excellent. All common areas, reception, breakfast room and pool area are spotless. Reception and breakfast staff are friendly & professional. Being Greece, the bathrooms are not wonderful, but the best hotel in Agios Nikolaos.

The location is very good, close to everything but not a busy area. The swimming pool is small but perfectly adequate considering the beach is just around the corner. Breakfast was a typical cold buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, everything I needed was available. A very nice hotel and a relaxing stay

We cant fault this hotel it was amazing from start to finish and Crete is a beautiful island. The facilities were top class and it was really clean. They went out of their way to help us with our son. Very helpful staff, food was great. The heated outdoor pool wasn't heated at all but other than that it was a great experience. They said the hotel was fully booked but yet it felt empty - no rush at pools or for dining. It was very relaxed.

Fabulous hotel and absolutely impeccable customer service. Our children loved the kids club, the beach the pool and the buffet!!! Very child friendly but also space to give adults a break with kids club and babysitting which allowed us to visit the adults only pool and spa, and to have some “date nights”. All came home happy and rested.

Room was very spacious and had a private pool, although it was cold in April. Resort has beautiful grounds and the pools and view of Spinalonga are great. Breakfast has a wide selection. Car valet process is confusiong and can take a while to be taken to your car.

My family and I loved our stay. The kids had a great time. Staff were amazing and so welcoming. Pool is lovely but it would have been nice for the resort to have a more kid friendly pool area. With a plot so big something a little more exciting and engaging for the kids would be wonderful. In any case we had a wonderful time and made some wonderful memories

Excellent resort geared up nicely for families of all ages. Went in early April and lucked out with weather - not too hot. The pools are cold this time of year though but this is catered for with one of the children's pool heated. Family of 4 with 4 year old and 18 month toddler.

This is a budget friendly hotel with a great sea view for couples and families. A minor issue is that the hotel was a little outdated and needed some minor aesthetic repairs but the staff was friendly and eager to help. It is a multi level hotel with amazing views of the sea and mountains from any level with lounge, bar and resto areas. Access to the immense pool and private beach were easy with showers and w/c close by and lounge chairs with umbrellas. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and with variety, surprisingly. We booked the standard sea view room which was spacious with extra beds and seating. We were on the fourth floor centred over the pool and straight sea view…stunning! Two issues that irked me was the wifi connection not working while in our room but good connection while sitting on our balcony and the mosquito plug repellent necessary for the room. I have to say that it was very unfortunate that Covid rules had to be applied and there was no music and activities which I believe would have impacted my opinion for a better review …safe travels!

We enjoyed our Holiday in this Hotel. You have a fantastic view over the whole(!) bay. Also the Beach is wonderful🤩. Clear Water and Sand. The bay is reserved for hotel guests. The Hotel and the Rooms are not so modern, more greek Standard. But we had all we needed. We also enjoyed the Kids Pool with our 2 years old son☺️. But there aren‘t more opportunities for children😕. There were 2 Restaurants, one of them Buffet with traditional Greek Food, and the other one at the Beach with a la carte Food. We were allowed to eat there 2 times in our Holiday there. There werd some ants on the floor in the Buffet Restaurant. The hotel Service and personal was very friendly and helpful.

we stayed 3 nights at the resort,fantastic location,the biggest pool I have ever seen,beautiful private beach, what else could we ask for? the problem is the resort is old and is in need of fixing. When we arrived we were assigned a room,the a/c did not work,we were changed to a better room(upgrade) and the toilet did not work.We were upgraded to another room(a suite) this was great but there was a water leak in the bathroom,we put a towel on the floor and it was OK.This shows that the place badly need fixing. The staff is great and helpful,the restaurant on premise is good .It could be one of the best resort in Crete if only....

This hotel has really amazing views over the bay from every room and from the bar/restaurant areas. The hotel itself isn't the best we've ever stayed in, but with a view like that who cares? Quite dated and a very small bar etc., but the reason we went was for the view so we weren't disappointed!

Absolutely fantastic place. Impeccably clean, cleaned most days. Stunning and unbelievable view from the balcony (the photos for the sea view double room on the top floor are brilliant on the website, in actuality it's even better. The staff couldn't be more helpful. All in all a magnificent experience, the best place we've ever stayed, in a lovely setting, close to all necessary amenities. Practically outside the door there's steps leading down to a row of bars and tavernas overlooking the sea and harbour, with steps down to a tiny pebbly cove that's perfect to swim from, and 4 minutes walk round the corner is a sandy shingle beach with sunbeds and parasols and more good swimming. There's a free city shuttle bus that takes you around the town and to the bus station that picks up by the horn statue near the bars, leaves about 10 past and 20 to each hour. We're already booked to go back next year! Thanks to Bernadette and staff for making it a lovely holiday. Strongly recommend Creta Hotel

This was my second time staying at the Creta, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well equipped and large, I had a small balcony with a good view of the sea. The bus station is a 20 minute walk away or a €6 taxi fare. The location is excellent as long as you don't mind steps. The lake and the main shopping area are a 5-10 minutes walk. In the other direction there is a beach with coffee bars and restaurants. It is a quiet hotel and I slept well.

Excellent,extra confortable beds! Nice,clean apartment with just perfect sea view ( from balcony due to elevation you have feeling the sea is just under your feet). Staff was so friendly and helpful! Huge thanks to Kaya the receptionist for help with my bookings of tours around Crete and other stuff! :) Alison and Bernadete are also great, we always had nice chats where I got lot of useful tips what to see,where to eat etc :) For solo traveler this really means a lot! Probably the best hotel I' ve been so far in terms of hospitality! Also,amazing location- quiet street, not in any of harbours and far from noise but close to downtown, shops,tavernas... Simply great :)

Staff were friendly, helpful, and had good English. It was good to have a balcony which got the early morning sun - vety nice to eat breakfast. There was a large kitchen space with a dining table - not that I used the cooking facilities. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfy. The location was convenient, especially after I found the various steps. I really enjoyed having sea views.

Clean modernised hotel with lift. Easy check-in. Our room was an apartment with a magnificent sea view. Woke early to see the sunrise it was absolutely stunning. Comfortable armchair in the kitchen dining area. Good assortment of utilities to cook, including a microwave, fridge, and kettle. Unfortunately, there is no washing up liquid provided. Iron and ironing board provided. Bathroom not as modern but with full bath and over shower, towels, and shampoo/shower gel provided. Bed extremely comfortable. The view is absolutely outstanding in a gorgeous little town.

This hotel was clean and it has a wonderful location. We were able to go to 3 different beaches, which were 3-10 min walk from hotel. The Hotel rooms are a bit old but you can see how hotel's team tries it's best to provide you great service, clean room and comfortable accommodations. I believe the quality you get for the price is amazing. I will strongly recommend to consider sea-view, first 4 days we lived in the garden view and then decided to upgrade for additional cost to sea-view. The room was a bit smaller but in the end the view is stunning and it totally has done our stay and vacation so special. The breakfast was from 7.30-9.30 am. You get all essentials eggs, meat options, yogurt, pastries, veggies and some fruits. Coffee is not the best, but there is a kettle so if you travel with your own coffee you will be all set.

Great location, spacious clean room and bathroom. Sea view room is really front sea view. Cozy dining room. Amable staff and service. Parking area nearby. One minute walk to the beach, taverns, restaurants. One more minute to the center. Great value for money. Definitely will stay again.

Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to accomodate us. The property was clean and everything worked. Price was amazing given it had a lovely pool. The taverna next to the hotel was an easy choice for dinner with lovely food and view.

We booked the Sapphire Zen Queen Suite with Shared Pool which is part of the Cool Living program that grants you access to the A-La-Carte restaurants and the infinity pool at the top of the cliff (Greco Levante). You should defentiley book the suites to be part of the program. The hotel is very peacful and quite, not crowded (especially in the cool living program area). The staff is super nice and friendly, the facilities are great with Grab N' Go drinks around the compund and all included alchoholic bevarges all day long. The hotel also offers a very cute private beach with a bar and other facilities just ~100 meters from the reception.

We loved the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and had so much heart smiling and always doing their best regardless of the time of day. The beach was great, excellent service and my favourite daytime perch. The staff were always attentive bringing round smoothies, water or whatever was ordered from the bar. The bar by the scoop Living pool was Leah’s very attentive Housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay. All the above was only surpassed by the views, location and Dimitrios the General Manager. it was easy to walk to both Plaka and Elounda

The views, the food (in comparison to other all inclusive options, the food at the buffet, pool bar and Asian restaurant were great), the beach, variety of alcoholic drinks and the speed of the service. Specially, Panos the bar man was super nice and hospitable, and made great drinks!

My recent stay at Domes Aulus Elounda Hotel was absolutely incredible. The staff, especially Despina from the reception, went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The suite with a shared pool offered a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea, and the luxurious amenities made us feel like royalty. The exceptional food and hospitality throughout our stay made us feel pampered and truly special. I highly recommend Domes Aulus Elounda Hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable getaway.

What an amazing hotel ! My stay there was amazing ! The rooms are 1st class ! Very modern and the bed was so comfortable ! The staff were so nice and very helpful to me ! Both Niki the owner and Elenis the manager made my stay a pleasure ! Sophia the bar maid kept me company and chatted while I had coffee ! The pool was so relaxing and peaceful to sit at through the day ! The location was perfect and short walk along the beach into the village square . Supermarket very close by ! The whole experience was great I will definitely be back !

We were met by Costas when we arrived later than expected he was very helpful and even reversed our hire car back down onto the main road for us . The hotel is beautifully finished with all high quality appliances and one of the best showers I’ve ever used . We had a jacuzzi room which was lovely but we were very conscious of how careful we had to be getting in and out . Eleni was very helpful and gave us crockery and cutlery to use in our room as we had bought breakfast items to enjoy on our balcony . The pool area we a lovely chilled out area as was the roof terrace .

This hotel was stunning! The rooms were modern and luxurious ! Everything was provided for us ! Towels were changed everyday and our bed was made everyday and the linen was changed regularly ! We had a lovely balcony with a beautiful sea view and pool view . Hairdryer was provided as well as robes and slippers ! We could not have asked for more !

The Hotel was absolutely beautiful, the vibe and atmosphere was stunning. The rooms are super spacious and up to a high standard. Everything felt very clean, even luxury. The owners and staff were very attentive and friendly and we would highly recommend this hotel, but I’d say best in peak summer season when the weather is very hot as the pool is a bit cold.

This hotel is definitely in the luxury class. All facilities are exceptional. With bars providing both drinks and snacks poolside or by the beach is great. There are plenty of sunbeams and parasols throughout and never had a problem getting one either by the pool or along the front by the sea. There were times when other guests put towels on sunbeams and never used them for many hours and whilst there are signs to say that staff will remove these I saw no evidence that they did so this could be improved.

Wonderful hotel. Recently refurbished so not fully open yet. Lucky to get upgraded to family villa with pool. Unfortunately too cold to use the pool this time. Food and service was amazing. Dinners and breakfast were sublime. Will definitely return.

Excellent setting with beautiful surroundings but near to a large town with lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. Plenty of different areas of the hotel to relax; pool, beach or on the waterfront. Good choice at breakfast but ate at nearby tavernas and restaurants. Room (sea facing bungalow) was nice but quite small. You could see the sea from the terrace but these are not sea view properties (and rightly not advertised as such). Staff amazing and friendly.

This holiday really made our holiday fabulous. Spread over a large plot, the sheer space made it feel luxurious even though there were a lot of other guests. We loved the artwork in the well kept grounds. The beach was lovely as was the swimming pool area. Breakfast was great though with the slight quibble of instant decaf coffee and no gluten free bread on offer. Staff were wonderful from the receptionist to the gardener, and the breakfast staff were hyper efficient yet friendly. The rooms were nice and you felt secluded given that each one was separate. Just loved this hotel!

Blue palace was amazing from start to finish. Make sure you get a private plunge pool. Lots of children at the pools so was really nice to have our own space to take in the sun. Restaurants and property were top notch and service was fantastic. Definitely recommend! It's about an hour from the airport so we rented a car, definitely get one day of at the airport. I prepared and definitely overpaid!

Very comfortable suites with amazing views, excellent facilities (beach, pools, restaurant and gym are all really good) and a short walk from a small village where you can experience delicious local food. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

The staff at Phaea Blue and the location are what made our trip so pleasurable. The resort feels like a village on the hillside. The area is quiet and the village of Plaka is close by and walkable. We ate their each night and the food in Plaka is superb! We booked a Luxury Bungalow with pool and sea view which was delightful and lovely after a hot day on the beach. Will return.

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The room was a good size and we were upgraded to a sea view top floor which was great as we werent overlooked in the hot tub. The pool area was fantastic, lots of beds, spacious, very comfy and gorgeousness infinity pools. We didnt use the al a carte restaurant but the buffet was great, varied and we were impressed that the head chef gave us a personal tour so we knew what the vegan options were. Thank you Yannis! Special shout out to Lucy and Marios too.

Lovely staff. Super clean. Nice rooms and lovely pool. The hotel is small, but well built. We visited in late summer and it felt like the staff were still figuring out how to organise themselves. The “spa” is just a massage room, but there is a decent outdoor gym. It’s good to have a car as the walk to nearby towns and restaurants is long and a bit sketchy. Highly recommended for a quiet, relaxing time in a beautiful cretian cove

Small resort, with very friendly staff. Pool area has recently been enlarged and offered a lot of sunbeds and a great view on the bay. I also enjoyed the private Jacuzzi on the patio of the room. Room service was very nice and also offered turndown service at night.

Having just stayed for a week, would definitely come back for a longer break next time. Room with pool was superb. amazing and attentive staff. Made us feel very welcome. Great cocktails.

The hotel is in a perfect position, it's extremely close to the lake (full of restaurants and shops), 2 minutes from the kolokitha beach and there is also a bus stop for the city bus. The room was very clean and comfortable, they changed our towels every day and the girl who is cleaning is extremely kind. The view from the 5th floor is on all agios nikolaos, it's amazing!

The Ikaros is in a fantastic location close to the centre of town and also the beach. The room is a very high standard, comfortable and with fantastic views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!

Amazing hotel! It had absolutely everything you could think of. Bonus having a beach and a pool. The pool and beach area had plenty of space to find a bed. The staff were very attentive. When we arrived the bellman parked our car for us and another took our bags to our room. We also got a welcome drink on arrival which was a lovely surprise. Everyone was really helpful and nice. I just wish we had more time here.

The property and grounds are without a doubt beautiful. The staff are so incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had our a private pool shared with our neighbours who were in our group, we had requested this when we booked and were so pleased we got the two rooms together. The rooms were stunning, champagne and rose wine FOC on arrival plus midnight snacks available as we checked in late. The beach bar is stunning it's on a cliff edge looking over the bay and there are steps (easy steps) down to the beach. Loved every second of our holiday.

Quiet, secluded hotel above Elounda with fantastic sunrise view from the infinity pool. Very relaxing and the staff were fantastic, buffet breakfast set you up for the day. We wanted to experience traditional Greece and we got it in spades.

We loved the senior villa. The views were wonderful and the accommodation excellent for a family of four (2 adult children) The private infinity pool was a perfect size and we enjoyed the seclusion as the villa was completely private. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and evening buffet looked good - although we did not eat there as we preferred to go into Elounda/Plaka/Agos Niochlos to eat. We had hired a car so this suited us. Excellent cocktails from Sotos at the hotel pool bar!

We had a wonderfully relaxing 8 nights at Elounda Palm. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The Deluxe Infinity Pool Suite we had was lovely, with a spectacular view over the Aegean. The dinner buffet has a variety options to suit most tastes, but it is the Dacos restaurant where the food really shines. The bar is also a great place to relax, and the staff are always attentive and helpful.

We liked the upgrade with a very nice partial infinity pool with views on the gulf... The air conditioning unit was too far and not powerful enough to keep the room cool in the afternoon and night ( we sleep usually comfortably at 80 degrees but , I think the room temp was over 90 degrees in the evenings which made difficult at times to go to sleep ...

Excellent hotel, certainly exceeded expectations for the price we paid for last week in April. Stayed in a junior suite with it's own infinity pool and sun loungers, with a beautiful view over the trees to the sea. (We stayed in room 571 and our private pool got the sun all day, but the little terrace is in the shade from 11am - I suspect this is the case with most of the suites). The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. The barmen deserves a special mention for outstanding cocktails (and I regularly drink at some of the best cocktail bars in London). Large breakfast buffet, the usual selection of cold meats, sweet pastries / cakes, fruit, cereals. (I would re-iterate a point made by others though that the fruit juice was very poor. I recommend that you buy a freshly squeezed orange juice from the pool bar later - very good!) There is a large pool with plenty of loungers, and the bar menu caters for local and international tastes. I would recommend eating in the local restaurants in Elounda though - there is something for everyones budget and we had excellent seafood and local Cretan dishes (but also a very good pizza one lunchtime), it is only a 10 min walk. I would also recommend hiring a car and touring around a bit, we visited some lovely deserted coves where you can have a beach to yourself (south of Agios N such as Istron) and rugged coastine (north).

For the price the accommodation, food and services was excellent. Was a little apprehensive at first but would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel. We were on a half board basis and the evening food exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was also good. Staff were excellent and helpful with the bed linen and towels changed daily. On the negative side the extractor fan in the bathroom was not working also no soap dish. Just minor niggles. There is a pool but it was out of action so cannot comment.

A bit of a late review as I stayed here in Oct 24 for a 10 night solo holiday. I had a fantastic time here. The staff are really friendly and welcoming (a true credit to the place) and the hotel is very clean. I stayed all inclusive and for the size of the hotel, I was very impressed with the quality and variation of the food, there was always something suitable to eat. The hotel pool is a decent size with a good seating area. I never had to wait for a free sun bed. Only slight downside is that mosquitoes are active around the pool area but this was easily solved with a squirt or two of mozzie spray. The location is perfect for exploring...gorgeous beaches in walking distance, shopping, great bars and restaurants nearby, boat trips and excursions are easily accessed too. As a female travelling solo I also felt extremely safe in the area, including at night so I'd highly recommend to others travelling on their own. I've now booked to go back again when the season starts up as there's still so much that I want to do there that I didn't get a chance to do on my previous visit. If you're looking for an ideally situated hotel that's child free, clean, friendly, helpful and not too busy, then this is a perfect choice!

Amazing property in front of the sea (take "Ocean view" for an open view on the sea, while "Sea view" is for the view on the port side (partial sea view, then). I enjoyed the shared pool with my room for more privacy and loved the access to a beautiful private beach (it's a pity that some customers always reserved for the whole day their sunbed, though). The breakfast buffet is amazing with an extraordinary choice of local food. Definitely a lovely stay, perfect to relax.

Great location near the city and the superb ocean views. Pool area and the beach are just awesome if you like to chill in the sun. “Upper deck” room we were given was not exactly what we expected based on the pictures, room was quite dated and didn’t have a couch. We were told that some of the rooms are newly renovated but this time hotel was fully booked. Buffet breakfast was very good but for the dinner we preferred restaurants in the town. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times! Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel is beautiful with an amazing pool area and private little beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to try make our honeymoon special. The spa is also amazing! The rooms were a down part as the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and as a honeynoon couple we had 2 single beds pushed together with individual bedding. Apart from this, everything was great and the view from our balcony was stunning.

Had such a great relaxing week here. Have to say that I'm totally sold on Adults Only hotels. The location, the salt water pool, the private beach were superb plus there was a great little gym and other activities if you wanted to do something other than relax. We just went bed and breakfast which I'm glad as it meant we experienced various restaurants around the town for dinner. A perfect combination.

Overwhelmed by everything, we stayed in a junior suite with infinity pool which was amazing, the food was out of this world, we had breakfast every morning so much choice, the lunch menu was amazing and we ate in the restaurant one evening and again fantastic. The staff especially Nikos were all so friendly and attentive all always had a big smile and would do anything for you, our room was huge, bright and clean, all in all a wonderful place and we would definitely go back again.

Stunning view, excellent location and lovely apartment. Very central for everything in Agios Nikolaos. Super restaurants on your doorstep and not too far away from other excellent restaurants. When we were there the weather was quite hot so relieved to have a beach in such close proximity. And our host Popi was so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much for her she went over and above making us feeling at home. My wife raved about the pressure of the shower which was so invigorating. No hesitation in recommending here and looking forward to coming back some day.

We had a very pleasant stay and would certainly stay here again. The apartment is in a great location opposite the beach with a choice of a dozen restaurants/bars within yards of the apartment. The town centre, shops, harbour and marina are all within a few minutes walk. Our room was large and comfortable with a balcony with breathtaking views of the sea and mountains. The staff were friendly and professional and made us feel very welcome. We would recommend the apartments highly.

We had a large bungalow, two bathrooms, separate living area, just a few metres from the pool, 50/60 metres from the beach. It was fantastic. The location is great, walkable into Elounda and a short bus/taxi/drive into Agios Nikolaos. Wonderful staff, very clean hotel with a beautiful beach area. Quiet location, nice restaurant and a lovely beach bar for a late night cocktail. We knew it would be good, it was better than expected

This resort exceeded all expectations. Enormous thought and planning has clearly been put into the design and facilities as it catered for all needs. The breakfast and dinner was over the top in terms of choice, quality and amount of food. The private beaches were superb and there was also a huge pool. More than enough beach lounges for everyone. It’s only a short walk into the really pretty town full of shops. We cannot recommend this highly enough.

Loved the cooked to order eggs etc. Bar service was brilliant, all the staff were so friendly. Loved the freshwater "back" pool for doing my lengths in the afternoon. The infinity pool beautiful to look at but salty so only went in once.

The property is meticulous and well situated on a stunning bay with an infinity pool strategically located and dozens of lounge chairs available on different levels along the rocky coast. Rooms are well placed to give easy views and our suite was spacious and comfortable. The half board, with two other restaurant options, was great. All staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.

It would be hard to find fault with St Nicholas Bay. Being a 5 star hotel, it is not cheap, but the quality of the hotel and the overall experience are worth the money. Our room had a terrace with a lovely view out to sea and direct access to the beach area. The room was bright, clean, spacious and comfortable. We were surprised to learn that the hotel was built 15 years ago as all the public areas plus our room appeared fresh and new. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. All the staff were friendly and attentive - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel's infinity pool was excellent and was clearly a hit with adults and children alike. We were less impressed with the man-made beach which was small and lacked a 'wow' factor except at night when imaginative lighting was used to great effect. There are a number of places to eat and drink within the resort. Breakfast was served on the outdoor Club Terrace and we have rarely seen such an extensive and varied range of food, even for a 5 star hotel. We also enjoyed the Kafenion restaurant which served traditional Greek food in a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking the beach. We also sampled some of the local restaurants, as Agios Nikolaos town centre could be reached after a 25 minute walk. In the heat of the day, however, we used taxis to and from the town at a cost of 6 euros each way. In conclusion, we had a memorable and relaxing week and hope to return before too long.

First class hotel ,well located with beutiful sea views offering excellent and friendly staff service. Our room enjoyed great views over the pool area of the Bay, and was kept spotlessly clean, as was the whole hotel resort. We found the Hotel quiet and a little lacking in atmosphere in the evenings, but a six Euro taxi ride (all Mercedes)to Agios Nicolas, provides a lovely clean and interesting small town with a great choice of restaurants, tavernas, and bars.

Beautiful setting! Services, accommodation, hotel facilities were first rate. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Complimentary champagne on arrival was also very nice touch. Room rate included half board, in the form of a voucher at check-in. The buffet dinner and breakfast were only okay, but regular restaurant meals were very good. Small beach area and pool were very nice, permitting lovely views of the sea and coastline.

This was our first trip to Crete and our first impressions were good - on arrival we were taken by buggy to reception from the car park, bags whisked away. Check in was very smooth with a welcome glass of bubbly. We were shown around the resort and taken to our room. This was a classic bungalow sea view - unfortunately there were a few issues with the room which were resolved over the first couple of days. The room was large, nicely laid out with a small secluded garden area. It is in need of renovation but was very comfortable. We were moved to another room for the last two days which was an island bungalow waterfront room which was fabulous!! Grounds, beach and pool all immaculate. Breakfast was wonderful - every choice there in buffet and great service and views. Beach staff were incredibly helpful and friendly too. Joanna our concierge was always available and resolved our queries quickly and efficiently. Elounda is a short taxi (€8 each way) ride which has nice restaurants too. It’s the staff predominantly then the grounds, location and food that absolutely win the prizes here and we will hopefully be back!!

A beautiful resort hotel, a 3-minute walk from the beach, with a friendly, helpful and efficient staff. We were in a bungalow-type room, with private entrance and a deck with comfortable lounge chairs and an umbrella that provided enough shade that we could be outdoors most hours of the day. Our only complaint was that the bathroom didn't have a real shower, just a hand-held, with no place to put the shower head. The jacuzzi tub was fun, but for those of us who prefer showers to baths, it was inconvenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This resort deserves its five star rating. It has all of the amenities that you would expect but what sets it apart is the staff. The clientele is mostly European but the resort is very family friendly. The only slight minus was the dining options. We were on a half board, meaning we got breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was great but dinner got a bit monotonous. The resort offered a 25 Euro discount per person if you wanted to eat at another restaurant at the resort. We tried it and it was not worth the expense. Lunch was at our own expense and without the 25 Euro discount, the emphasis is on expense. Food was great and service was even greater but we racked up a considerable bill. Also to keep in mind, there is a dress code for men at dinner. Long pants are required. This was ignored by many of the guests but it's worth keeping in mind when packing! Bottom line is this is a great resort in a beautiful setting. We would definitely go back!

We loved being able to dine in the Elounda Mare and the trip there by water taxi was great! We loved the area of beach that was exclusive to Peninsula Guests.

Excellent service. Excellent spa. Heated pools. Beautiful clean sea. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa which was huge. Every room with its own shower and toilet. Very nice. The view from the villa was simply gorgeous. We enjoyed the free boat rides to the restaurants at Elounda mare. The Old mill and the yacht club are above and beyond. Very good food. The six senses spa is fantastic. Wellness packages are a good deal. Overall a wonderful vacation with lots of relaxation.

All of the staff was super attentive to all of our needs. They arranged for taxi pick ups for us and gave our room special honey moon touches. The morning breakfast is simply put amazing. Great egg options, fresh fruit and pastries. Plus a beautiful view. The overall property is amazing. We want to go back already.

As we were full board, we ate at the hotel's buffet, which was varied and good quality with no limits on quantity - breakfast very good. Able to access restaurants at next door Elounda beach, so he good meal out there one evening and also at the excellent Ariadne restaurant in the hotel. Gym small, but well equipped.

The hotel is like a small village on its own. A quite oasis with several shops, restaurants, bars and beautiful sea views. Great for a romantic getaway but also family friendly with playgrounds and kids pools etc. There is are onsite water sports activities you can book including scuba diving with very friendly staff. The rooms can do with some updating and the buffet is good but nothing to rave about. Overall very happy with our stay and hope to come back some time.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The area around was beautiful. We had a pool which we shared with only one unit and an amazing view! Unfortunately, the room was quite outdated, and some things didn’t work the best. When we requested anything, it took a very unusual long time to get it or we would need to ask again after an hour or two. The food was great! We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner.

It was our first time in Crete. We absolutely loved this place. Rooms were clean and comfortable, you had access to beach, pool, sports amenities and delicious dining. The staff here is phenomenal. Always making sure you’re comfortable and enjoying your vacation. Will most likely be returning 😊

First time visiting Crete and had a wonderful experience not least because of our fantastic stay at the Mirabello Bay Luxury Resort. Starting with the amazing customer care given by everyone right from the reception welcome to housekeeping and the restaurant staff. You truly feel they all aim to create the best guest experience and prioritise taking care of their guests. A special shout out needs to be given to Matthew, the concierge, who went above and beyond in every respect taking immediate care of any request and ensuring all of our requests were taken care of. There was nothing he couldn't do and truly made our trip the most relaxing and trouble free. In addition to the people, the location of the Mirabello Bay Resort adds to the incredible experience - it is truly a beautiful hotel with fantastic views across the bay and the most magical sunrises. Photos can never do justice to how spectacular the sunrise and sea views are. I would highly recommend staying at the Mirabello Bay and certainly look forward to being able to return.

Exceptional stay. The property was amazing with lots to places to chill and relax. The food was absolutely amazing With lots of variety in the buffet including for kids and toddlers. Perfect for a family trip. They had thought of everyway to make our stay comfortable and even gave us an upgrade to all inclusive. Highly recommend and a must visit

A spectacular stay! We’ve spent a week and it was one of the best holidays we’ve had in a very long time! Staff: an absolute delight to interact with and extremely thoughtful and kind; the team go out of their way to help providing one of the best services we’ve ever had. Food: breakfast, lunch, and dinner; simply wow. The chef is so talented and the flavours are so well balanced, we rediscovered the greek cuisine during our stay! Villa: we had a room with a private infinity pool and massage room; it was clean, well equipped with scenic views of the coast.

Beautiful salt water infinity pool, the view was fabulous. A great deal, the room and grounds could use some care, peeling paint, weeds, etc. the staff did not know about local weavers on the island. I tried to find them while I was there, but later on the plane found an article!! I would suggest tours of the local area through the front desk.

We booked a villa and ended up with the most magnificent view 24/7. The Villa was great and I could go on and on! The Staff was brilliant and special shout out to Maria and Angela who were warm, kind, and had great recommendations for restaurants in Plaka, Agios Nicholas, and Elounda. Everyone at the Elounda Gulf Villas made the experience special. The beach was great, the pool at the villa makes me want one at home. We would stay here again no question. All that said the view was the star. We highly recommend the EGV.

The place is exactly like presented on photos. It’s just a few min from the beach. Really clean and cozy. Check in went smoothly, and the staff were super nice and friendly.

Sadly the water in our private pool was v cold but overall we will return but would want to stay near the top of the resort. It’s high - very high but has spectacular views.

Situated in a quiet part of Elounda, the hotel offers stunning views across the bay. We had a very relaxing stay. Here’s the pros and cons. Pro’s: 1. A small but pleasant shingle beach. Comfortable padded sun beds readily available. Very few guests reserve sunbeds, which is a nice stress-free experience. 2. There is a nice little bar on the beach, open from around 10/10:15am, serving coffee, cocktails and various alcoholic and non alcoholic options. There is also a large chiller cabinet where you can grab water, beer and soft drinks as often as you like. 3. There are grab and go lunch boxes available on the beach from 12 noon - salads and sandwiches. 4. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. 5. Rooms are clean and cool. 6. The bar in the amphitheatre area is a lovely place to have sundowners. Try the Hugo cocktail! Cons: 1. The swimming pool area is tired and the sunbeds were a bit dirty. There is paint peeling off the swimming pool floor. The pool is painted a very dark colour, making it very uninviting. 2. The dining options are not great. Breakfast is fine, with plenty of options. The buffet dinner, however, is not of a good enough standard for the resort. The Ampitheatre offered some nice Italian options, but the Greek souvlaki options were really disappointing (you can book this restaurant twice per week), and the Sushi was good at the Yellow Sea restaurant - but no starters were offered, and dessert was just one option.

Lage: Wir haben unsere Inselrundreise in Elounda gestartet und müssen sagen, dass die Ecke der Insel wirklich sehr zu empfehlen ist. Hotel: Wir hatten großes Glück bei der Zimmerzuweisung. Das Elounda Blu hat 3 Tage vor unserer Ankunft einen Neubau des Hotels eröffnet und wir haben als erster ein Zimmer bezogen. Wir hatten eigentlich nur Zimmer mit Gartenblick gebucht, aber ein Zimmer mit Meerblick, Private Pool, top-moderner und stylischer Ausstattung bekommen. Wir waren natürlich total begeistert und haben die ersten 3 Tage nur an unserem eigenen Pool verbracht. Leider ist der Rest des Hotels schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben uns auch ein wenig dem wirklich zuvorkommenden, freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Personal unterhalten, die uns das von sich aus bestätigt haben und uns verraten haben - es wird weiter renoviert und umgebaut. Fazit: Hotel ist auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen - viell. bei der Buchung ein neues Zimmer mit Private Pool buchen!

Mycket bra och bättre än förväntat. Vi bodde i en nybyggd del och hade en privat terass lika stor som rummet med egen pool utan insyn . Det går inte att göra mycket bättre. Utsikten var fenomenal. Rummet var fräscht och det bjöds på färsk frukt och vatten. Jag bokade ett rum med havsutsikt, jag hade aldrig förväntat mig detta rum som var nybyggt och med egen pool. Restaurangen var utöver det vanliga. Duktiga kockar som tog oss på en resa genom grekiska matkulturen under en vecka. Det var inget som fattades. Jag brukar inte äta middagar på hotell men då den ingick i priset valde vi att testa. Vi gick bara dit sen hela veckan. Mycket bra lagad mat och fint upplägg. Plus för barnfritt hotell. Service mycket bra

We went for a 5 day get away at the end of April. The weather was great and the hotel was perfect. The adults only nature of the hotel ensured that we didn't have to put up with kids running around, the food was excellent for all three meals. Only 20 minute walk from Elounda town allowed us to also go to eat/shop there. Car rental service directly from the hotel was efficient. The staff very friendly and helpful. The Wednesday night show of traditional Greek music and dance was lively. The private pool on the balcony was perfect for a dip after a hot day. Great service of the receptions, managers and concierge during and after the trip. Staff spoke at least 3 languages without problem. Only potential negative is the distance from Heriaklion if you need to go there (and some of the sites around), however do not hesitate to rent a car for one or two days if necessary!

Good hotel, right on the beach. Lovely pool, though salt water and a few more loungers needed but we never had a problem. Lovely salads, food and plenty of fresh fruit. Branded spirits, and bar was quiet. Staff try hard to help and meet requirements, animation team really do try hard to get participation in their activities. Great for those with children, plenty of activities and the mini club team actively went round the pool telling families what was on. We don't have kids, but they all seemed to have a great time.

Nice hotel close to the beach, staff was top notch, the head waiter went so far as to order special Ice Cream for our Daughter that can’t eat any protein or milk products. The rooms are dated but it makes up for it by the pool side with plenty of seats to spare. The drinks aren’t top shelf but if your not a big drinker then who cares. It’s a good mix of family and couples enjoying this location.

We had a very comfortable and spacious bedroom with a fantastic sea view. Many thanks to Vagia who made this possible. The property is very well maintained and has plenty of comfortable seating and beds around the pool area. The beach is just across the road and also has very comfortable sun beds which are free, with waiter service to the beach all day. The food choice for breakfast, snacks and dinner was excellent.

The hotel is located in Ammoudara, about 10 minutes drive/taxi from Agios Nikolaos. if you are looking for a relaxing vacation, this is your place. The sea side is literally in front of the hotel, a couple of good restaurants and a mini market complete the setting, other than that there is road and you will need a car to get anywhere else. The hotel is relatively small, a good point if you are not into big crowded hotels. One of the key pluses of this hotel, however, is the staff. We felt at home, everyone from the reception to waiters and cleaning services was friendly. The staff works really hard, often with very long shifts, but you can feel the passion and commitment, bravo! The pool, while small, was well kept but please pay attention to non hotel guests coming to the pool (happened only once but these guests were quite not respectful)

The staff are so nice and helpful. Good breakfast. I liked the beach so much, everything you need is there! But it's a quiet area in evening. Very easy to get to the amazing beaches in area, by Taxi or bus, or to Agios Nikolaos if you want more bars and restaurants, as only about 3 at beach resort. The rooms are nice and clean, with balcony and small kitchenette, and good shower.

The staff did everything to make us comfortable. The hotel is on the sea with amazing restaurant two crazy fresh food just amazing for the price we paid. Breakfast was good and adequate had everything you needed from delicious pastries to good coffee. Everything we asked for we got

The staff were all first class throughout the hotel and extremely polite. Our hotel room was perfect with the added benefit of shared pool which seemed private as the other two rooms adjoining us didn’t use. Would definitely return when next in Crete.

We spent five wonderful and unforgettable days at the Elounda beach hotel. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by extremely warm and personable reception and concierge staff. The hotel has amazing landscaping and it feels like you are staying on a private island in your own world. Elounda beach has THE best location on the mirabello bay with the best views of the bay on either side of the hotel. The hotel beaches were one of the biggest attractions for us and they did not disappoint. They have 2 beaches (1 large and 1 small). We loved the small beach which was almost felt like our private beach. The water was great and refreshing and service was excellent. The rooms have amazing views and are very well equipped The hotel has 4 excellent restaurants on the property with excellent quality food and a wide variety and we never felt the need to go anywhere outside for our meals. The restaurant staff was very accommodating with tables with excellent view and great service. There was a special 3 hour Greek BBQ and song and dance night that was one of the highlights for our stay. The veghera bar which is almost in its own rock island and shaped like a ship was favorite place for drinks and cocktails. Overall the staff of the hotel is amazing and super professional and accommodating. They set very high standards and always aim to satisfy their guests Thank you to the Elounda beach staff for making our stay a memorable one.

The beach is really nice with plenty of sun beds and full drinks and food service at sun beds or in nearby cafe/bar. Views were great from our room, beach and most areas. Our room was lovely and spacious with a huge bathroom and comfortable sitting area and balcony. Breakfast was huge buffet with great choices and there were also pancake and egg chefs. It’s a 25 minute walk to the village of Elounda which has lots of restaurants. Staff were friendly.

Everything. Locations, beach, food, rooms. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. This establishment goes above and beyond to ensure guests are relaxed, enjoying themselves and well taken care of. Room interior is very accommodating and spacious. Scenery of the bay is gorgeous. We also took a boat trip by the operator at the hotel, which was absolutely charming and fun.

The super friendly staff especially at check-in. The breakfasts were delicious and with a huge range of yummy food. The large plot with tennis, volleyball and lots of facilities all complimentary. Everything is clean, well maintained and beautiful. The wonderful sea views.

One of the nicest resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The location was perfect right on the water with exceptional amenities. I originally booked a deluxe oceanfront room with an infinity pool but upon arrival the amazing staff upgraded us to a private villa with a private pool (1000/10) the staff were beyond exceptional and helpful in every way possible. The food in the restaurants was delicious! It’s about an hour from the Heraklion airport and about a 10min drive into town where it’s lovely to walk around the shops and restaurants along the water and easy to book excursions. We stayed for 6 days so we did explore the island as much as we could out to Samariá Gorge, Chania, Elafonisi Beach (pink sand) and the museums in Heraklion. The location, the food and the hospitality made this holiday in Crete a dream!

Bathroom small, shower adequate, generally clean and tidy. Very central location and the attached Kalidon restaurant floats in the harbour next to the Spinalonga boats - excellent food and very friendly staff.
