My 13 year old son and I had a fantastic stay at the 3HB hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The hotel is perfectly located in the town centre, clean & spacious rooms, breakfast offered a great selection of food, we loved the infinity pool at the rooftop and fire pit in the evenings. The pizza restaurant at the bottom was delicious and super convenient. I particularly enjoyed the white sangria cocktail at the pool bar. Staff were all incredibly friendly and efficient. We didn’t use the spa facilities but they looked very nice. We would 100% recommend and hopefully come back.

Immaculately clean hotel that is based right in the main area of Faro. The bed was comfortable and had a choice of pillows. Nice breakfast and Lucas our waiter on a couple of mornings was a delight. It has a beautiful roof terrace and restaurant with an infinity pool. Cheerful and helpful concierge staff.

We absolutely loved the hydro pool and the whole spa in general was amazing, I had the best pregnancy massage I’ve ever had, it is on the pricey side though. Breakfast was delicious! The staff are incredible here, so attentive and friendly, super helpful and seem to remember everyone’s names which for a hotel of that size is very impressive. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be retuning.

Staff were excellent, so polite and helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and comfortable. We loved the cleanliness of hotel, room and breakfast area. The location is close to Faro airport, 20 minutes at most in taxi. The bar was very good and cocktails excellent. Perfect location for golf as numerous courses on the doorstep. The shuttle to beach was great, 15 minutes each way. The hotel's infinity pool was lovely and it was good that there was another pool which catered more for children. Good base to visit Faro, Vilamoura and other popular places.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this bright and spacious hotel. Room was large with balcony overlooking garden. Lovely infinity pool. Friendly and attentive staff. Generous buffet breakfast to suit all tastes including a far-too-tempting array of pastries! This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back.

WOW!! This is our second year at staying at the Conrad. The staff make this place and your stay special. They are so friendly and welcoming and are there to help you out. The building itself is beautiful to look at the the swimming pools and Spa are fantastic! The poolside staff cater for your every need bringing you your drinks and food so you don't need to move from your lounger. The staff in the lounge bar... WOW just so super. We were lucky enough to eat at Gusto Heniz Beck the Michelin restaurant there and their own Louro restaurant but absolutely amazing! Our room was as good as last year and overlooked the infinity pool! Roll on next year.

What’s not to like? Customer service goes way beyond expectations. EVERYONE is friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to make your stay exceptional. The amenities: pools, gym, spa, basketball, tennis, golf and shuttle. Top notch poolside drink and food service. The food was consistently excellent. Rooms were much larger that most Euro Hotels and have nice patios. The front desk staff gave us great Restaurant recommendations and did the bookings. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The landscape is beautiful

Perfect stay in November! We truly enjoyed the outdoor heated pool, the bar in the pool area is fantastic and so is the friendly staff. Make sure to spend some time in the spa as well. The stay has exceeded my expectations.

The hotel is beautiful and fast in the grounds lots of walking for swimming pools one adult away from everybody. The breakfast buffet is fabulous and if you find a nice space around any of the pools, you’ll also be treated a good people serving you constantly. The bedrooms are OK. I’m not going to say a bad word about them, but just don’t be put off on my words. The overall the people work in the hotel are fantastic and lovely. I would come again.

Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable and in a great location within easy walking distance of Loule centre. Lots of restaurants nearby, we ate out in two places recommended by the hotel reception and both were excellent. All the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Good facilities including a cosy bar and lounge area, a swimming pool and a gym. And a varied breakfast each morning, with hot and cold options, included in the price. Overall, incredible value for money, we would definitely return.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of food, juice and hot drinks at breakfast and all were good quality. The rooms were very clean with comfy beds and clean towels daily, bedding change every 3 days. The location is within easy walking distance of restaurants and cafés and the castle and indoor municipal market. Also has a pool on the roof which is so relaxing on hot days. A bit of a gem this one!

As soon as I arrived, the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable and lovely balcony overlooking Loule and could see Faro, along with sun beds for relaxing. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Pool area looked nice, though I didn't use it. Location is fantastic for exploring beautiful Loule. I'm so glad I took the 59 bus from Faro to come to this little gem of a town.

The Loule Jardim Hotel has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and the buffet breakfasts are excellent. The beds are large and comfortable, and the bathrooms have magnifying mirrors and great showers. Everything is spotlessly clean. There is air conditioning if you need it, or you can open windows. The hotel is in a quiet area of town but within an easy 5 to 10 minute walk to restaurants and the market. I didn't use the hotel pool but it was much appreciated by others in my group. The Loule Jardim Hotel is the perfect base for a family visit to the area.

What a find this apartment was! Absolutely loved it and already looking to go back. Large apartment, massive balcony and views overlooking the beautiful pool. The pool was kept pristine, relaxing chill out music in the background and no extra charges for sunbeds. The pool restaurant was amazing, all the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you! A 25 minute walk to seafront and 30 mins to Marina but cheap taxi ride if you dont fancy the walk!!

Great apartment, spacious and had most items required for a weeks stay. The terrace is sizeable with outdoor bbq which is a nice addition. Lovely view of the pool also. Pool bar area is nice. The kids loved the pool swings. We liked that they had entertainment some nights & large screen to watch the sports. Food was tasty. We made good use of uber (which is cheap) to travel about as it’s a bit outside of town.

Loved the complex. Nice little oasis feel with lovely swimming pool and bar seating. Plenty of sunbeds. Staff all very friendly. Didn't need anything but felt Vitto would have been very helpful. Also liked the pool music r&b session. We missed the evening artist Saturday...as early flight but again seemed good atmosphere around pool and nice change.

Apartments were very clean and spacious, and we were given adjacent apartments which was ideal for our two families. The pool is beautiful. A large enough pool for swimming lengths, plus a large baby pool. Staff were so lovely and catered very warmly to our needs Good location - about 10-15 min walk into the Marina, and only cost 7 euros for an 8 seater taxi. Would go back again for sure.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Laguna Resort for 7 nights. We stayed a lovely ground floor apartment which was very clean. The room was recently renovated and the interior is well maintained. The hotel itself is located approx 20 mins walk away from the Vilamoura marina but the walk had footpaths the whole way. The pool area in the hotel is nice, plenty of sunbeds. The pool bar has also been recently renovated and it is very large with plentiful seating. All in all, we would recommend staying in this apartment again.

We really appreciated the excellent service from staff and our apartment was lovely. It is just over a mile from the amazing Falesia beach and slightly further to the Marina which you can walk to comfortably in half an hour or get a short taxi ride for about 6 Euros. The hotel itself does have a pool which was basic but clean and also has a pool bar. Best of all was the fact that discovering in the airport departure lounge that I had left some cards in one of the bedrooms the reception staff retrieved them and agreed to post them back to me - outstanding service and greatly appreciated.

Warm welcome on arrival with great information on the local area. Lovely relaxing pool area with pool bar if you wanted a cold drink or snack. Our initial room had a small problem which was quickly attended to and we were offered a great alternative which was worth the move. All handled wonderfully by reception. I gave 4 star overall as the trek to the shop for fresh groceries was a little far, that said if you had a car it would be no trouble. Would recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing break in the sun.

Nice place to relax with balcony overlooking the pool although pool too cold in feb. Slightly far out of Vilamoura if you don’t drive. We hired bikes so only took about 10 minutes to get into town. Fully equipped kitchen but plenty of restaurants in town.

Fantastic accommodation throughout - felt like I was on a retreat it was that relaxing. Stayed over looking golf course which gave us fantastic views (go armed with your mosquito repellant though) - the cafe and bar are well stocked and we enjoyed breakfasts and some lunches there. Pool area is lovely and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sadly the bar closed each night at 8pm - this may vary though depending on season. Ubers into Vilamoura and surrounding areas were always on hand and very reasonably priced (around 3.50 euro to Vilamoura) we would definitely book to go again

Fabulous hotel, lovely rooms. Staff were definitely a highlight, so friendly. Fernando by the pool area was amazing as was the chef in charge of eggs at breakfast. Breakfast choice was fantastic. Lovely pool area with very comfortable sunbeds. Rooms were cleaned daily and were spotless. Easy walk to the beach and nature reserve with some lovely trails to walk. The Shack and Gigi’s were lovely bars to sit in and relax.

Couldn’t fault it, the hotel is excellent. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. The pool area was lovely and not too busy. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The poolside cafe had some good value options (the chicken tacos were great) and the bar ran a daily happy hour. Great location just a walk or very short taxi away from lots of restaurants. The staff were all delightful - we were travelling with our 7 month old baby and they couldn’t have made it easier for us.

Everything was amazing from arriving to leaving, the staff are so friendly and helpful, we was able to check in early by 3 hours, we was offered a hotel tour and champagne on arrival. The pool staff made our trip memorable as they were so chatty and friendly. The facilities were to a good standard, good gym and massive spa. The pool food was yummy. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be returning :)

We absolutely loved this hotel and its location. Beautiful rooms, indoor and outdoor pool, breakfast and very helpful staff. Everywhere is spotless and clean and designed really well. Its a shame the hotel feel the need to charge €14 every time you want to use the indoor pool which we've never experienced before in addition to charges to play pool & table tennis. This is our second trip to the Crowne Plaza and we would not look at any other hotels for future visits. Lovely, clean and fresh hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is first class and everything is so fresh. The pool beds are comfortable and the location is right on the beach. We had a low Vilamoura side bedroom and the side sea view is beautiful along with the sunsets. Fantastic selection of cocktails around the pool and a lovely walk to the marina where there are so many lovely restaurants. Can’t wait to be back.

Everything about our stay was great, nothing to complain about. Our room was lovely, big balcony on 11th floor facing Quarteira side, partial sea view. The sunrise every morning was beautiful, sound of the waves at night was so calming. Juao at the reception was super friendly and he remembered our names instantly. Pool area and Pool bar really great. Breakfast was amazing. Lots around within walking distance - restaurants and shopping. Taxi to Albufeira was so cheap just 15 euros . Everything was great. Our holiday was amazing.

We stayed in early October for 9 nights Amazing outdoor pool ( although not heated ) Best breakfast buffet we have ever had - huge choice of both hot and cold breakfast items beautifully displayed and continually topped up. Could not fault anything by about it Room spacious with a view towards Quarteira and the sea - very well appointed with huge comfortable bed and very good size bathroom. Coffee machine as well as tea making facilities. Spa facilities very good and we used for the two days when weather poor. Really lively indoor pool ( this is heated!)

We have been here twice now and it’s so absolutely lovely, the hotel is beautiful along with the pool, and right on the beach front ! The only thing we wish could be changed is that if smoking was not allowed at the pool area, it stinks and fag ash flies around, maybe smokers could smoke on the veranda area ? Other than that it’s our favourite place to come

Central location with many local bars, mini markets & restaurants nearby all within easy walking distance. Fabulous breakfast and dinner buffet available to purchase. Snacks also available in lounge and patio bar. Excellent musical entertainment in lounge on Tuesday & Saturday nights. Excellent friendly and helpful staff with a special acknowledgement for Nelio and his extra care in looking after us in the lounge & patio areas.

Dom Jose is a perfect pocket of paradise 30 minutes walk from Villamoura. It has a chilled, relaxing pool area and is close to lots of little restaurants for dinner. We paid 4 euro in a taxi to Villamoura at night for dinner or pottered around Quarteira during the day for food. It over looks the beach and is a quiet hotel allowing you to fully check out and enjoy your holiday.

We stay here on a regular basis and it is always a relaxing stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are very good with lots of choice. Pool area and gardens are clean, spacious and well kept. The service is always very good and all of the staff are well trained,polite and helpful.

Travelled with a 16-month-old and everything was very child friendly and within easy access. We had a 1 bed apartment close to supermarket reception and 3 min walk to pool area. The staff was so nice and friendly especially Carlis at reception and the pool bar team who made my birthday extra special. The playground and pool were our little one's favourites and the views on the golf course were breathtaking. A great escape for families and only 10min away drive from our favourite beach.

The grounds are really nice, the staff are helpful and friendly. They provide you an option to WhatsApp if you have any issues and they check in with you to make sure all is okay. The pool is really nice and there are smaller ones for children or just relaxing, plus an indoor pool (we didn’t use). The room was okay, a little dated but the shower was okay and the beds comfy so no complaints really.

Very modern, spacious, clean villa. Loved the onside restaurants and pool facilities. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. Really liked the whatsapp idea for communicating with reception.

Really great 4 night stay. Place is in great condition. Only down side was too many kids in pool area - adult pool or area would be a great addition. Beach in-front and sunbeds were used daily (although have to pay for sunbeds). Supermarket is 10mins away. Shop in hotel is very limited.

We came from another 5 star hotel in Albufeira and we immediately loved this one, it is all the other one wasn’t. It is classy, quiet, the apartments are very large and comfy, the kitchen has every single detail and the bathrooms are clean and modern. The toiletries are from Rituals! The garden is very big, has a large barbacue area and a jacuzzi. The hotel is on the beach and has 3 pools (1 indoors) and a nice restaurant. The restaurant is a little expensive but the staff and food are great. We loved it so much we booked another 9 nights immediately.

For the price it met all my expectations. Minimalist but very clean and comfortable. I am not greedy when I am paying substantially less than other options and the massive pool and pool area was great. Staff were also very friendly and helpful

Lovely continental breakfast included. Room was clean and bright. Not sure about the glazed glass door of the bathroom, but bathroom and shower was excellent. The outdoor pool was good, with nice recliners and the pool was a good size and rarely busy. Would definately recommend and we plan to visit again.

My husband & 1 have stayed 6 times. Location is great near the beach, which the hotel provides transportation if needed. Restaurant’s near if you decide to eat out in the evening. Breakfast was lovely with great choices. We had lunch at the pool bar most days. Pool is large and lots of sunbeds around. Never a issue on getting a sunbed. Staff very friendly. Hotel is very clean. We had a side sea view room. which was lovely looking over the pool & sea. Very comfortable bed.

The staff was very friendly, in excellent proximity to the beach via a 5 min shuttle and nice beach concessions, and beautiful sea and nature preserve views, Hotel was very clean, the cleaning staff was excellent and the hotel, in general, was beautiful. I did not have an opportunity to visit the spa will save that for next time. If you are looking for a nice quiet luxurious getaway a 20 min drive from Vilamoura Marina I highly recommend Ria Park.

Amazing bartenders that cut up fresh fruit for cocktails. Best hotel we’ve stayed at for air conditioning. TVs have Netflix & Disney plus. Can also rent bikes at reception.

The pools are fabulous. My daughter was never out, and the pool area is lovely and spacious with lots of chairs, and a reasonably priced pool bar. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a nice selection of foods. The location is great. Close to amenities but also quietly set.

Lovely stay in Hotel Praia Sol. Our room was ready at 12pm, well before the 3pm check-in time. Our beds were made and towels replaced everyday even though we were only there for 3 nights. Pool area is fabulous and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely lunch and drinks available to be brought out the pool area also. The hotel also allowed us to spend the day at the pool on the day of checkout and held our luggage for us.

Excellent hotel, fantastic staff and lovely large room with balcony overlooking the pool. We got a room upgrade on arrival, 2 rooms and a nice bathroom and 2 balconies overlooking the pool. Restaurant was nice and the breakfast was excellent.

Arrived before check in but were happy to allow us to leave case and change if we wanted to sit around pool. On the whole the hotel is spotless and rooms more than adequate not a large pool but ok. Breakfast was very nice but the same each day. In all we had a very pleasant stay although a good 15 -20 minute walk to marina but complimentary shuttle available from nearby Hilton hotel only 75yards away. Would recommend and use again but it’s your choice.

This is a world leading hotel and our experience was a sheer delight from the booking process and arrival until our departure. The hotel is beautiful- every part of the interior decorated to a high standard with style. Pools and pool area is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast staff excellent. View is magnificent and there are many walks along the coast to be had. We hired bikes and that was fun. I would return in a heartbeat and really look forward to going back again some day.

We had a very nice stay here. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. The hotel really is a cut above. The rooms are palacial and the service second to none. We stayed as a group of free each in our own rooms with garden balconies. Pool is nice and quiet. When. I checked out I accidentally left £145 in cash in my room. Housekeeping kept it and transferred it to me back in England. Honest and five star service. Carlos at the pool was a very friendly guy, as was Diego. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a five star experience in the beautiful Quinta do Lago.

Amazing size apartment. We had the 2 bedroom overlooking the pool. Great size, comfortable and in great condition. Cleaned every day with new towels provided. Pool areas fantastic. Shuttle service to beach and Marina, but if you miss it a taxi is only 6 euros. Overall a wonderful weeks holiday. Would definitely return

It all went very well. Having the apartment cleaned every day was a big bonus. An added bonus for us this past week was the internal pool but we did brave the outdoor pool as well as the week went on. All the facilities were very easily acceptable which was a big bonus.

Room was spacious and clean. Facilities on the campus were good. Pool area was clean and well maintained, plenty of dining options. Restaurant staff were friendly. Breakfast was superb.

We stayed off season at the magnolia so it was quiet but very peaceful. The hotel is very nicely decorated, pool is well taken care of, and staff are friendly. The small annoyance was the room got cleaned very late each day when we wanted to be back in it. I’m certain this might not apply in high season however. As a bonus the hotel gave me a cocktail on my birthday which was very kind. The local area is walkable but there isn’t a pavement which I would make it much better. Overall it was great value for a chilled holiday.

I loved the pool! I had a beautiful view from my room overlooking the nearby gardens and mountains. The train does run behind the hotel but this was not an issue for me. The breakfast was good. The hotel is in a good spot but there aren't any immediate shops close by. You can access everything from there though and I used Uber / Bolt. I highly recommend the Saturday market in Loule. As a solo female traveller I felt comfortable at the hotel, spending my time by the beautiful pool. The staff were all very kind.

Hotel is a bit of a hidden gem. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options. Pool area is great... Yes the rail track runs behind the pool area but the trains are infrequent and not disruptive. The hotel is on the outside of vilamoura and an Uber is required to get into town and marina. However we are familiar with Vilamoura so understood the location before booking so this wasn't an issue for us. Uber is not expensive.

Everything! Cannot recommend it enough! Comfy beds, excellent shower, bar in lobby, fabulous decor throughout with an antique vibe, free parking, pool with cabanas to use and large outdoor veranda. The low price includes a "full" breakfast with eggs, beans fresh fruit, deli tray, awesome coffee/tea and plenty of pastries. To top all this off, the wonderful, always happy and helpful staff. Really should be a four star!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Although it’s not brand new and located a bit outside the center of Vilamoura, it was easily accessible by car. The room was spacious and beautifully maintained, offering great comfort. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel very welcome. The pool area was also a highlight – well-kept and perfect for relaxing in the sun. A lovely, peaceful base for exploring the area.

We loved our twin room - we opted for the recently upgraded room and weren't disappointed. The decor was calming, the linen was so very comfortable and everything was spotless. Lovely coffee making facilities and a clothes steamer was a great addition! The rooftop restaurant and bar is fantastic. We didn't go in the pool, but I do wish I'd brought a swimming costume as towels were provided as well as bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and varied and cocktails watching the sun set is just perfect to end a day.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Faro, with fantastic views of the Rio Formorsa and the marina. There is a lovely rooftop pool to relax. There was a good breakfast selection with the Portuguese tarts being our favourite! There is a minibus service to take you to the beach club. The beach is spotless and there is a great selection of food and drink at the beach club. Ending the evening on the rooftop terrace watching the sunset was perfect.

Clean , QUIET, spacious room. Excellent breakfast choices. Rooftop bar was nice for viewing and relaxing. Hotel was in an awesome location... close to tourist areas and bus/train station. Overall a great stay at Dom Pedro Marina! We booked a Full Board 2 Bedroom Apartment and got a great deal. The food was excellent with lunch and dinner being a la carte, all of which was great quality with fantastic service. Rooms were clean, the 2 bed apartment also had 2 bathrooms and a large balcony. The only down side was the pool, as our kids were a bit too big for the small pool but not confident enough for the large pool as the minimum depth was 1.4m. Location was great and drinks were reasonably priced in the bar. Would highly recommend!

Second time we’ve stayed here and we feel the hotel has improved, we stayed in a marina view room which was worth the extra cost. Room was excellent, great shower and the maids that did the 3rd floor were excellent and our room was always spotless, breakfast was again excellent as was the indoor pool and spa , although we had read that swimming caps were mandatory and had purchased them but everyone else we saw in the pool didn’t have them, if that’s a rule then the hotel should implement that . That was just a minor gripe and didn’t affect our stay, we’ll certainly return in the future

Visited on a 3 night deal with friends. The hotel is well situated near the marina. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The pool area is ok,could do with a spruce up, the chairs around the pool,could do with some new cushions, as they are a bit grubby. Breakfast was excellent,cannot complain. Lots of choices. Only complaint,we tried to keep a room on, as we had to check out at 12,but we were not getting picked up until 5 pm. A room ,to possibly get a shower would be a good idea .

I really like this Hotel but there’s lots of things that could make it much better. The staff were not very welcoming on arrival ( maybe having an off day). The pool has debris at one end and no one came around all afternoon to pick up litter and empty plates and glasses. Light fixtures fell down in the cupboard with exposed wires. Plug socket hanging off the wall near the pool area. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good with a great selection. A bit of care would make a big difference to this Hotel.

The staff were very polite and helpful. This made it a pleasant experience for us. The location is excellent, right on the marina. The rooftop pool is fabulous, albeit a little tired looking (staff told us they're refurbishing the pool area this winter). The rooms were clean. The breakfast was excellent. Piano player in the dining room is fab.

The hotel is great for young families all year round with the indoor heated pool & soft play area. The outdoor pool was a little cold when we stayed in April . The staff are all friendly & attentive & we found some great restaurants in walking distance by asking at reception & taxi drivers.

Everything was excellent! We went with a 2 yo and a 6 yo and there was entertainment for both kids! The hotel boasts two huge outdoor play areas, mini golf, huge outdoor pool, huge indoor pool, indoor play area and a bar right by the play areas so parents can chill while the kids play.

We have been coming to this Hotel for many years. It is very peaceful and relaxing. Spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly. Very pleasant walk though if you do enjoy the exercise. Highly recommend this hotel.

Found the apartment very comfortable with excellent facilities.It is situated in a quiet location near the beach restaurants and all sports facilities.We had been to the resort before and this visit lived up to our expectations.The only criticism which we had was that all facilities surrounding the pool area were well kept and maintained, the pool area itself was not. The pool area itself was in need of general maintenance .There was litter uncollected,in the surrounding area,damaged walkways needing repaired,rusty metalwork and poor toilet facilities.,with no running water for washing.

The villa (1241) was just what we needed, the pool is more of a cooling down pool as opposed to a swimming pool (still great), and the location to all the facilities was brilliant. The BBQ area and Patio had fantastic views The staff on the whole were very friendly. The shuttle bus around the resort was great, The Golf courses are challenging but fair.

The resort was incredible- it wasn’t clear from the booking.com listing how amazing it was. It’s a massive resort, with so many activities. The pool is a pool club which has beds and a DJ that is all included in the price. There is unlimited use of the resort shuttle to take you anywhere 24 hours a day. There are so many options for eating out- sushi, tapas, steak, pasta etc.

The staff at reception are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The house was lovely with a back, front and a roof patio, the beach was close, pools perfect with Free use of towels for the day and Free entrance with the VDL resort orange card (E25 for a day pass), great variety of restaurants, grocery store has everything, shuttle around the resort is very helpful

Quiet location a short ‘Uber’ ride from the Villamoura marina. Very nice friendly helpful staff there are two small swimming pools in facility one indoor. Food was fine in bar and reasonably priced our kids had chips and pizza. If you are looking for a nice quiet location to chill and relax then this would be a good option. Safe secure location. Uber ride to Villamoura Marina cost about €9 (5 people) on average and very little wait time .

Late night arrival! Excellent breakfast. Unable to make best use of pool or tennis courts as en transit elsewhere. However on our list of places to return when next in the area. Apartment was spacious comfortable and well equipped for longer stay and bar restaurant both good quality and value for money!

This was my second time staying here, as I had such a great experience last time (March 2019) as well. My brother and I stayed from the 15th - 19th ofJuly 2024. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. They all went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The reception staff, especially Claudia, Alexandra, Rute and Yoao were fantastic! On behalf of my brother and I we really appreciated them. The hotel was lovely and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very comfortable with air conditioning. The hotel bar area was a nice place to relax and their was great Wi-Fi coverage. The hotel location is good. It was a 10 minute walk to the marina and town centre. We have recommended this hotel to our family and friends.

My friend and I came to Faro for a weekend get away. We arrived too early to check in, but the receptionist recommended a great cafe for breakfast and a few places to visit before check in. Upon check in, the room was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There's a small coffee/bar where in the evening I would have a glass of wine. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Also very close walk down to the marina. I would highly recommend this hotel. Great value! 😊 I will be back!

Just arrived back after a most pleasant stay at the Ria Park Hotel. All the staff were friendly and most intentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the pool area was surrounded by palm trees and we spent many a relaxing time under them along side of the pool. The only downside, if any, I would suggest hiring a vehicle as it is in a residential area and we had to hire taxis to get to the various places to visit. I would highly recommend the Ria Park Hotel.

Perfect location couldn’t fault the apartments at all. Pools were both lovely & the apartments were so comfortable. Also less than €4 to the marina in an Uber if needed. Staff were all lovely especially Manuel in the pool bar. He was so friendly & attentive couldn’t do enough for us. The food in the pool bar is also lovely. The apartments do offer transfer to & from Faro airport. We were picked up when we arrived the driver was very friendly however Ubers are half the price.

Good size apartments which had comfortable beds. The pool, and facilities for my children were great (small play park, table tennis, pool etc) The food at the pool was very good. Staff so helpful and professional. Only ten minute walk to Vilamoura

We have just spent 10 days here and really don’t want to leave! Spotlessly clean apartment, tucked out of the way, away from all of the hustle and bustle of vilamoura. Great food at the pool bar/restaurant and super friendly and helpful staff. The lower pool is quieter which we enjoyed, but we also spent lots of time on our balcony, enjoying the sun. The marina is about a 15 minute walk with lots of choice of bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend Pinhal da Marina and look forward to visiting again at some point.

Clean and modern room, quiet small but did the job, room actually had four bed bunk bed then a seperate room with double bed, small bathroom and small balcony, was therefore spacious for jsut myself but wud be quite tight for four people, staff friendly, no complaints, check out as late as 12 which was nice and breakfast was nice, food fresh and enjoyable.

The breakfast was self service, good variety to start the day and not hurried. Location was within a 5 minute walk of the train and coach station. Really helpful staff, very clean room with a balcony. Effective air conditioner which quickly cooled the room. Although on a fairly well used road, the noise was muffled by the insulated patio door. The pillows and the bed were really comfortable. The lift was helpful to move luggage to and from the room. Shower room was spotless and the shower a decent size. No disturbing nightlife/nightclub noise. Really recommend this hotel for solo travelers - I would book it again for a short stay.

Super clean room upon arrival. The hotel itself felt very relaxed and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food and drinks. The hotel is very central which allowed us to acsess tons of activities and restaurants by foot. Staff were very helpful. I left some feedback about the breakfast on a google form asking for some sauces and the next day they were there! Staff were very attentive. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. My only complaint is that the room was noisy. We were next to the reception & noise carried to the room. In the morning we could hear the cleaning from about 6am and preparation in the breakfast room.

The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do more to help. The room was luxury with the most comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Beautiful location but would definitely need to get taxis wherever you’re going. Sally & Maria found me a fabulous hairdresser to come to the hotel to do my hair for a wedding. No problem at all.

This is a hidden gem … we stayed for a week and we loved everything about it!! The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were very luxurious with really comfortable beds. Hotel was immaculate and the pool area was so clean and really comfortable. Close to beach and restaurants and when we needed an uber they were easy to come by. This is our first time staying here but we are already planning a return visit !

We only stayed overnight on our way back to Faro Airport. We know the area well but haven’t stayed here before. The reviews looked worth giving it a try and we weren’t disappointed, would definitely stay again. Room was comfy and fresh milk in the fridge was a plus. Breakfast was tasty and cooked freshly to order. A small and friendly place to stay. Enjoyed having breakfast on the patio. Pool was a decent size for a small hotel.

Amazing location, 10 min from Old Town, 3 min from the bus stop from where you can go to the Praia de Faro beach as well as to the airport. 20 min by bus to the beach and 15 to airport. Room interior is simple but it includes all that is needed for a few days stay. Hairdryer, towels, small cosmetics, small desk....all is there. We did not try breakfast but it looked quite well and was at a reasonable price. Hotel has patio, where guests can seat and eat breakfast. Hotel provided free of charge beach towels, which you can exchange each day. You can leave bag in a storage room after check out time and your travel time. 3 min from the hotel there are 2 restaurants serving fresh seafood.

The location was great - about 5 mins walk to the train station, restaurants and the shops! The 24 hour reception was brilliant and we were welcomed whatever time of day/evening it was - the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our suitcases in a room at reception and go to the beach whilst we were waiting to check in - we were even offered beach towels to take with us! The hotel's reception area was immaculate as was our room. Stayed for 1 night at beginning of our holiday and 1 night at the end of our stay! The first room was overlooking the front of hotel and was a little compact but was fine for 1 nights stay but the room we had at end of our stay was overlooking the court yard and was much bigger and quieter but both were immaculate We had breakfast on the first day which was amazing - the choice was excellent and everything was so fresh and well laid out and we could eat in the breakfast room or out in the court yard - once again ver helpful staff.

We didn't have too much expectations as the hotel is rated two stars, but we had a very pleasant surprise. The location is perfect, the centre is basically just down the road. The room we got was spacious with a balcony to the inner "garden" part, it was quiet regardless of the location of the hotel. The room was clean, the bathroom was big with all the toiletries you might need. We did not book breakfast with the room, but we were able to pay for it whenever we decided to have one in the hotel. Plenty of food to choose from as it is a buffet style. I personally liked the continental, but my partner had eggs with bacon/sausage. The reception staff was very helpful, we could even get beach towel when we asked for it. They answered any questions we had. They were even nice when we checked in before check-in time. They cleaned every day, but we didn't want that, but every time we needed to change something the housekeepers kindly catered us.

breakfast had a good choice in a very light clean airy room. the location was perfect for bar and restaurants and the train station and the room had everything you require eg air con tv shower.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was immaculate, comfortable and clean. I appreciated air conditioning and comfortable bed. The central courtyard my room faced was sweet.

The room was big for a double bed, but as we had an extra bed in became a bit claustrophobic, even more with the single bed put in the middle of the corridor. Despite that, really appreciated the comfortable beds and the nice balcony over the pool. Nice pool bar, nice evening entertainment by the indoor bar. Good location, 3-minute walk from the marina and about 5 to the beach.

Hotel is a great location to be able to walk to the beach and the marina for dinner. Pool area is nice enough, a couple of the sunbeds need replacing but otherwise did the job! Great pool bar that does lunch and snacks too. Breakfast was good. We didn’t spend too much time in the hotel as we had a wedding nearby but our room was great, good beds and nice to sit out on the balcony looking out to the marina.

The hotel is in a great location close to the harbour, The room was spacious with 2 beds ( I travelled with my son ) so we had a bed each. The room was clean and had shampoo body wash etc..The pool at the hotel was clean and sunbeds where around the pool where in good condition.

The Lemon Tree Stay is a delightful property fully embracing the lemon tree theme, from the shade of the lemon tree in the courtyard where a delicious breakfast is served, to handmade lemon soap in the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee freely available in a small kitchen with an honesty bar (water, beer, red and white wine, and ice cream). Location in the centre very quiet and a short (10 min or less) walk to the Old Town, harbour, and other tourist attractions. Roof top terrace completed a delightful experience. Highly recommended.

Perfect location in Faro next to restaurants and shopping but still quiet at night. The property is very cute with a rooftop. Issa was very helpful she served us coffee and cake when she checked us in and gave us a bunch of suggestions on a map. There's free bikes to rent as well. The breakfast was amazing I highly recommend staying here if you're in town!

Centrally located within easy walking distance of central Faro. Exceptionally helpful hosts who advised on where to eat and drink and were happy to book the more popular venues. The European breakfast each morning was excellent and we made full use of the 'honesty bar' and roof top areas in the evenings. Super room with comfortable bed and wonderful shower. Wouldn't consider anywhere else if returning to Faro.

Boutique hotel with pool and walking distance to Faro airport! I highly recommend this hotel for an early flight or overnight layover! The pool area and big luggage lockers are definitely a plus!

Although only stayed for one night after we arrived late it was lovely and close to the airport which was lovely and convenient. The rooms was also really nice and modern. Being that we were only down the road from the airport, it was a very quiet and peaceful night as you could not hear any plans coming or departing while the door to the balcony was closed. Can’t comment on the facilities as we didn’t use them but we did see the swimming pool as we left in the morning. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again for the convenience and comfort.

The location. Of this property is perfect for an over night stay before an early flight or a late flight arriving. It’s very easy to get from the airport to the hotel. It’s only a 10 minute walk .The room we had was fine and spacious , very clean and comfortable . We also had a very big balcony which was nice. As we only stayed the one night we didn use the pool or have brekkie the following morning so can’t comment on those. However I will say the staff were very very friendly and welcoming .

A very welcoming, basic but quaint (has all you'll need for a night or 2) easy place to stay, before flying home from Faro. An easy 10 min walk from the airport with a supermarket pretty much next door. The hotel has friendly, helpful staff and the double room was decent and clean, with a clean bathroom and good shower and a balcony. It even has a pool! Recommended!

The nicest place that we have stayed at... Very clean... stunning apartment... like brand new... The staff were super friendly, the pool was clean and a really nice open area. There's a bar by the pool with tvs and pool table. The room itself was a bit dated, but clean and well equipped. The bathroom had just been renovated and was very nice. I would definitely stay here again, thankyou.

We had a very enjoyable holiday. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool area was pleasant. The food was nice and the young waitress looked after us well. Needed some repairs to the poolside toilet facilities and there were some cracked tiles in the dated bathrooms. A few area maps would have been a nice addition.

Our room had a sea view and was very big with a small kitchenette well kitted out. Breakfast was included and had a great choice for everyone. Snack bar was very reasonable for sandwiches, pizza's, chips. Pool was spotless and lots of sunbeds available. If we return to Vilamoura we would stay here again.

Great value and incredibly friendly staff who show a real pride in their job. Location is perfect, short walk to the marina and beach but a quiet area, I was a bit worried from previous reviews after I booked the hotel for our golf trip but we were delighted with the size and comfort of the rooms. The decor is dated but everything worked well and the rooms are enormous which made it perfect for our trip. Pool is fantastic and the place is spotless, they seem to constantly clean the foyer and always greeted with a cheery smile when we came back to the hotel, will definitely be back!

Nice hotel, 5 mins from the beach, 5 mins from the marina and had all the facilities we needed for a family holiday. We had a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious and had a large balcony overlooking the pool with a sea view. The hotel is a bit tired in places but overall it was a comfortable stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would be happy to go back if the opportunity arose.

Stayed for 4 nights, hotel in a great location. Easy access to beach, marina, shops, restaurants and a short walk into Quarteira. From the moment you enter, the staff are amazing. Large, comfortable rooms, restaurants, bars and general areas all immaculate. Great indoor and outdoor pools, spa and gym contained in beautiful grounds. B&B option includes a superb buffet breakfast, with large variety of foods available. Although located at bottom of marina and hotel was busy, very quiet at night with no noise, which was great.

The hotel was beautiful. The property, pool areas and spa areas were beautiful. The room was roomy and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was amazing! The marina and surrounding restaurants and shops were great, as well. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful booking us for some excursions. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is perfectly located between the marina and the beach. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious with good views. The pool area is great, with plenty of space and good availability of sunbeds. Breakfasts were good, with outdoor or indoor seating, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful.

Reception staff and luggage guys were super friendly, asked twice for an ashtray for my balcony that never appeared, at breakfast had to ask three times to get a coffee, hotel is spotless and a good choice at breakfast which was actually hot, outside pool very cold, overall a lovely place to stay even if a little overpriced

Everything. The staff were amazing especially the co owner brothers that look like twins. Juan was extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was the best we had in our trip. Fabulous seabass, beautifully cooked, large fish, and very very reasonably priced at 15 euro including veg and potatoes. The restaurant had silver service, white linen tablecloths, indoor and out door seating. Also a superb range of interesting alcoholic beverages reasonably priced. Juan was most helpful and friendly. Our room was airy and large with super big bed and Fabulous power shower large bathroom. I could not fault it and location was just perfect beside old town, shopping district, restaurant street, Port with ferry to Faro Beach and 10 euro taxi from Airport. I would definitely stay here again.

Neat and Clean Hotel in an excellent location. The room was neat and big. The bathroom was massive. The marina is just opposite the street. All local shopping and restaurants are all around. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. The restaurant in the hotel is also run by the same family, and they insisted that i dont pay for the coffee i had in the restaurant. I had an issue with the wifi and the owner got it fixed in a short time. Highly recommended for the location, and friendly attitude of the owners.

We ended up at the Faro Boutique Hotel after being unable to land in Madeira and being dropped in Faro. It was short notice, trying to find something as we were getting off the plane and somewhere that could take 12 of us. The staff were very pleasant and the hotel was ok. The rooftop bar was amazing, so peaceful and perfect for lying in the sun with a cold beer, there’s no pool though. They had a rooftop festival in Faro that weekend, with lots of rooftop bars taking part. Our bar had Jazz and Blues music and we got the chance to take part in building up a song from nothing. It was my favourite part of the break. Faro centre itself isn’t amazing but this hotel and location are a perfect starting point to all the trips on offer. There was a self service continental breakfast, which was more than adequate and the rooms were cleaned every day. If I ever go back to Faro I would stay here again.

The best thing about this hotel was the kindness of the staff. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and did all they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I had an issue with my room which had a loud humming noise which would have kept me awake. The manager, Ricardo, was very kind and understanding and moved me to another room where there was no humming. For people who don't sleep well, you would ideally ask for a room away from the lift and stairwell as this area could be noisy with slamming doors, people talking, lift going up and down, but away from the stairwell it was quiet. The room was cleaned daily by super kind and friendly people and the people serving breakfast were super helpful too. The breakfast was very nice - as described by others - cereal, bread, cheese, yoghurts, fruit, tea and coffee. It was also possible to book a massage as there is a woman who visits the hotel to offer this service in one of the rooms, which was divine. Just what we needed to help us wind down into the holiday. The location is within 10 minutes walk of all the main areas in the town - marina/ferry departure, cathedral, museums, bars, restaurants. You can get a ferry to Faro beach for 4 euros return and it goes every hour or so (more frequently as the season picks up). We also did a boat trip with Lands Eco Boat Tours, around the local nature reserve which is highly recommended. This isn't a luxury hotel but for the price it is worthy of 5 stars!

The hotel is situated less than 10 minutes from the old town and the large pedestrian area which houses numerous bars and restaurants. It was a very quick 15 euro taxi ride from the airport to the hotel no need to pay expensive private transfers. The hotel staff booked the return taxi for us after our 3 night stay. The room was clean and tidy with a decent sized walk in shower. The decor is in need of attention and there were no in room tea and coffee making facilities. The roof top bar opened daily at 4pm and gives views over the city. It was very quiet whilst we were there but it is well worth using and would benefit from the hotel advertising it more. We did not have breakfast but there are an umber of cafes directly outside of the hotel. The staff were friendly and knew a great deal about the city and the transport systems. We would use this hotel again if we were to revisit the city.

The hotel checked every box we had when looking to book our Faro stay. Location is within walking distance from town center and the best places to visit, both bus and train station as well as bars and restaurants. Room was clean and we loved the fact that we had a coffee machine with a couple of coffee pods. There is also a coffee lounge near reception, prices are ridiculously cheap - €1 euro for a black americano and €0.8 for an espresso. Not to mention that the coffee was somewhat better than the ones we had out. Ricardo and the team have been incredibly helpful and we would like to once again thank them for making our stay so pleasant.

The hotel was very central and within walking distance of the all the main areas of the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was compact and very comfortable. It had everything I needed including a good shower, TV with lots of channels in many languages, a safe, fridge, air conditioning and a small balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was continental with a good selection of tasty and freshly baked items. A good value hotel and I would definitely stay again.

Very happy with our stay at the Hotel Monaco. A short drive to the lovely old town of Faro and within walking distance to local bars and restaurants. All members of staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Excellent unlimited continental breakfast served till eleven and convenient checkout of midday. Parking outside the hotel. Bar and restaurant available from half three till half eleven. Swimming pool and garden area a big plus. Very handy for the airport.

The staff was very friendly and they were able to speak English so that we could communicate back and forth. The rooms were absolutely clean and spotless and I stayed there a year ago in 2024. I would highly recommend this location even though it is a ways away from downtown. But if you're able to walk about 4 miles each way you can get there without having to pay a cab. The pool is clean and the breakfast were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend going to this location if you're visiting Faro.

Stayed at at this hotel before my flight home every year for the last 15 years, great hotel everything you need, breakfast included, nice pool. friendly staff, bar and bar meals, airport shuttle, very clean what more do you need.

My sons and I stayed at this hotel between 4th-7th June in a 3 bedded room. Overall it was a very good stay. The room/bathroom was clean. The fridge could be a tad noisy. The fridge proved useful as there is no tea/coffee facilities in the room and there is a supermarket quite close by. Breakfast was excellent and the limited meals at the bar were also very good, and not too expensive. There is a small swimming pool and a gym room.

Great hotel! Loved the buffet breakfast and the outdoor swimming pool. Great view from the balcony.

The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. Free WiFi was much appreciated, as was the fresh towels and bedding halfway through our week. We loved the pool and the fact that it was staffed - the young man was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was extremely efficient. The location is superb, with many restaurants only a minutes walk away and the marina only 2 minutes walk too.

We have stayed before and it was a welcome return, the apartment was as expected and is really spacious with great views of the harbour. The 4 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and was amazed by how spacious it really was. the rooms were huge and so spacious, basic facilities but that’s all we needed for our stay which was amazing! the staff were helpful and friendly and even left a little something in the room on request for my mums birthday which made the start to the whole trip incredible as it was a surprise ! pool are nice and simple plenty of sun beds, hotel was just what i was looking for for the perfect price, location brilliant too just opposite from the marina, had a view of the marina just behind some other buildings but made it nice and private would stay here again thankyou so much!

We found our 2 bedroom apartment to be clean and spacious. The pool was a bit busy but the larger Hilton pool always had space. The Hilton buffet breakfast was excellent and barely a 2 minute walk through the pool area.

Great place to stay for a family break. Coach laid on to take you & pick you up from the Beach and the Marina. Staff very friendly and can not do enough for you. The only down side was the pool could do with a clean as the drainage around the edge of the pool showed signs of green moss, otherwise the pool itself was lovely.

Amazing staff with the most fantastic service! Great room with all the things you need. Full kitchen, spa, perfect cleaning and a view over the golf course! I must highlight our receptionist Mr. Ansool who was especially helpful and kind when our room lock was jammed and help with Uber Eats for delivery. Pools and pool bar was amazing and not to forget the breakfast at Hilton Free hourly shuttle bus to the marina with great restaurants and nightlife... We will be back soon

Fantastic location, apartments, pools, shuttle to marina, pool bar & main bar, golf course & staff all amazing especially Vanessa whose interaction with children is a shining example for all. Taxis easy to achieve via hotel or Uber. Golf & souvenir, jewellery, fashion shop in Hotel Nearest shop (spar) 850m easy walk but would need trolley bag or car for heavy items, bar/restaurants adjacent. Michelin star restaurant just around corner. We shall definitely return. .

Visited for the second time in Sept 2018. Was just as fabulous as the previous time if not better. We got given a great Apartment overlooking Pinhal Golf Course to the front and the main Pool to the side. Was quite busy at this time of year but we had no problem getting sunbeds at any of the 3 pools on offer. Staff were excellent throughout our stay. Would thoroughly recommend. Looking forward to visiting for a 3rd time in Sept 2019.

Booked a studio apartment last minute for 3 nights. Smart hotel, good security. Very friendly staff. Lovely pools as well as an indoor pool. Comfortable outdoor area. Spacious well equipped room, we did end up in a disabled room despite full fitness! Did feel if you were disabled there was only a shower over the bath which was quite high to get into, not a problem for us though. Had a nice meal in the lovely restaurant. Good parking.

Beautiful family friendly hotel with great pools and in a perfect location! We booked a 2 bed apartment for us and our 2 children which was perfect - it was lovely and spacious with great facilities. The breakfast was perfect and the kids loved it too. A small supermarket is just round the corner which was super convenient and the taxi into the Marina was only around €4! The hotel was amazing, the staff were lovely and welcoming and the swimming areas were fab. We will definitely book here again in the future!

The staff are so lovely here. This was our second time at this hotel and we can't wait to come back. The whole hotel is lovely with all the different pools and plenty of comfy sunbeds and parasols. The food at breakfast and cilantro is wonderful too. Unfortunately the pool bar and spa pools were shut during our stay. Some smaller lunch options would be nice at the aqualera restaurant.

Hotel was large modern & clean, with friendly helpful staff. Our room was exceptional, clean modern, spacious, quiet, & being a corner room had a large double balcony with loungers. Breakfast room was spacious clean & modern with great variety of hot & cold which was regularly replenished. Pool area & loungers great. Especially the romantic pool. Great shuttle bus service to & from marina & beach.

Excellent hotel with a free shuttle to the stunning beach and marina. We stayed in a 2-bedroom pool view apartment which was clean and spacious. The only downside is that all sun beds by the main pool are taken (with towel on them) by 8am.

The Hilton Vilamoura was beautiful, the rooms were lovely and clean, the staff was incredibly kind! The breakfast was lovely and worth the extra fee. I was travelling with 2 kids under 6 and the staff were all so kind to them. We were there in March and I believe the outdoor pools had just opened so they were cold, but the indoor pool is lovely. My 5 year old loved the playground and the staff there was so nice! I would definitely return here.

Very friendly helpful staff. Useful free transport to beach and marina Only gripe I had was people going down at 7.30 in the morning to put towels on beds by pool and then not using them for hours. The staff didn’t monitor it as sign said they would so often no chance to have bed by pool.

It is very good value for money.

First of all I cannot believe some of the terrible reviews this place has had. It is a budget style hotel but it is modern, clean and functional and I was pleasantly surprised when I got to my room. Modern, smart with a lovely big king size bed with crisp white linen. Nice bathroom with a bath and shower. Also a modern, efficient air-con unit. The staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast was perfectly acceptable for €10. Lastly the hotel has a great location in the city centre and is walking distance to everything. Recommended.

Lovely, very clean otel. Small but perfecly formed twin room. Can't thank the Staff enough for accommodating us with an early check-in (normally 16:00hrs local time) Breakfast was of good quality and a choice of hot or cold buffet as well as cereals, breads and pastries. All Staff within the hotel are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. If we had one negative - and this would be us being hyper critical - it would be the ensuite. It's a little tight. The shower door in the en-suite didn't close properly and the floor became a small pond when showering. The space between the shower cubicle and vanity unit is a bit tight for the toilet. However, as two small people, we managed fine. The Hotel itself is very central and the longer we stayed, the more convienient we realised it was for getting around Faro, being within walking distance to the bus station, train station and the marina.

Great room, big with a huge balcony. Bed was large and very comfortable. Big bathroom, shower was very good. Breakfast was great, good range. All staff were really friendly particularly the woman supervising breakfast. Location is great, quiet despite being near plenty of places to eat nearby. Check in online (urged to by repeated emails) worked fine, but couldn't validate check in and get key to my mobile, so had to do this at reception and get a key card (which was probably easier and better!)

Great hotel, within 10-15 mins walking distance to Faro Old Town, Marina and bus/train station, very near shopping street. Perfect for overnight stays, super convenient location. Room was large, spacious double bed with comfy mattress, duvet and included towels/toiletries, tea/coffee/kettle, and good Wifi. Everything looks newly refurbished, very clean, light and airy. I had a really nice welcome by hotel staff on arrival, i would recommend staying to any traveller.

Hotel Aeromar is a real gem in the Algarve. The photos on the websites don't do the rooms justice. My room overlooked the Lagoon beach, stunning views and a beautiful sunrise can be viewed from the balcony. Rooms on the other side of the Hotel have views of the Atlantic Ocean and sunsets. The room had many home comforts, the ensuite shower and bathroom was great. A security chain lock on the room door was a big plus for me being a solo female traveller. Buffet breakfast excellent, lots of variety, cooked or continental and very nice coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh juice, etc. The Hotel restaurant also offers lunch and dinner and a Bar. The beach on the Atlantic Ocean side of the Hotel is incredible, miles and miles of soft white sand. Sun loungers can be rented or you can sit on your towel for free. Bars and restaurants with amazing cuisine along the beach front. Magical place. I was lucky to see a flock of Flamingos coming in to land near the Lagoon. I'm told it's common to see Flamingos in the area.

We stayed here for two nights, one at the beginning and one at the end of our holiday. The location is great for the airport only about 5 mins by car or you can get the 16 bus. The hotel looks a bit dated but has a certain charm which I liked. It is kept clean and the rooms were comfortable and had everything you would expect, all with sea or river views. The best part of the hotel is the bar/cafe/restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit, pastries, breads and hot eggs, bacon, beans and sausages. Bar open all day for snacks and drinks (Super Bock on tap, served in cold glasses). Dinner in the evening was great value, lovely fresh fish. To top it all off the staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and professional. Many larger hotels should come here and take notes. We will definitely return to this hotel if only for the fatias douradas.

Good location - walkable from the ferry, close to the beach, bars and cafes and a cheap Uber (€5) to the airport. The room was comfortable. Nothing amazing but the clean and comfortable en suite room was perfect for our needs. Great views from the cafe down stairs. The buffet breakfast is perfect for the morning of departure. (It included freshly squeezed orange juice.)

WOW! What a gem of a place! Booked a 5 day trip to Faro as we got a great deal in this Hotel. 5 min from airport. On arrival it looks a bit run down but when you step inside it's like a classic Portuguese dream! I loved it. Beautiful old fashioned Portuguese artifacts everywhere. We had the superior room with sea facing balcony. Beautiful immaculate clean large spacious room. Lots of lovely extras like fresh fruit, toiletries ect. Very charming. 1 minute walk to the most enormous stunning Golden beach ( which was empty!). 2 little beach restaurants which were both busy but not overly. We ate dinner I'm hotel which was fabulous. Lamb chops and steak were fabulous. Unfortunately on our 3rd day a storm hit! Was really exciting to watch the size of the waves become enormous. Because this is a small beach resort there is nothing to do apart from go to beach we decided to move into the city to a hotel with an indoor spa just to make the most of our r@r. Had it been good weather I would have spent all week here. Very reasonable priced and lovely professional staff. Thank you for our stay!

A small, traditional hotel ideally located to the beach; yet a short taxi drive from Faro International Airport. Travel from the hotel to explore Faro city via passenger ferry, bus, or taxi. Staying for longer than an overnight there is more time to discover and explore all that is on offer in this area. Although the information on this site currently writes that breakfast is an option at this hotel it was available with an ample selection in the buffet service of fruit, cheese, ham, breads and seemed to cater for those who are e.g. milk intolerant. The staff were very helpful and friendly ; and despite being very busy got to know ones preferences having stayed for longer than a night or two on route to either the airport or other parts of Portugal. Extras: Sea or Ria Formosa lagoon views from bedrooms, snack bar and restaurant (a great introduction to local food and cuisine; and Portugese wines, apertifs etc) and beautiful sunsets can be appreciated in the local area or in the snack bar, restaurant or on the upstairs terrace.

From the booking in day to the departure day all the staff were excellent and very helpful. The family size room was spacious and clean, the swimming pool was superb even though the water temperature was cold, the pool was not advertised as "Heated" and therefore it was what I expected during October. The menu was a little limited on occasions and repeated on some days, the food however was always well presented and for a three-star hotel, was most acceptable.

We had a self catering house with a small garden and plunge pool. The house was perfect for three kids and two adults. Spacious, stylish interior that was well appointed. The communal pool area and club house was excellent with very attentive staff. Gated security offers great peace of mind.

Good for families. Lovely staff, friendly and warm athmosphere. Clean and safe. The shop was nice to have on site, but prices were high. No heating in house pool, but the joint pool was heated. Kids loved and wanted to come again!

Spacious, clean villa on a very well kept resort, 20 mins from airport. Villa has stair gates, pool gates and you can request cot, high chair etc. Really well set up for kids with an excellent kids club, heated communal pool with slides, trampoline and very nice restaurant for lunch (which you can also take away from). Car needed to get around.

Staff very friendly. There are only about 15 or so villas in this complex that has a pool and a bar/bistro. There is a shop and a nice restaurant only a walk away. Its a quite area and feels safe. This is our second time here and more than likely book here again. There is no problem hanging by the pool all day if you are waitibg for later flight as we were. We changed in the spotless bar before transfers arrived. Happy days!

Lovely place for a quiet holiday with pool lots of sunbeds and very reasonably priced snack bar. It had breakfast and a bigger lunch menu for everyone but it closed one day and the young lads who looked after it were a credit. Villa had everything you need but bring a few washing/ dishwasher capsules. Spotlessly clean. Great WiFi throughout. We arrived early and luckily our villa was available. The lady who runs it was very helpful. Kids loved the pool and it wasn't busy anytime. Aircon in 3 rooms was a lifeline as it was very warm.

Had a lovely relaxing week at the villa. It was clean, spacious, had all the essentials needed, good shower with plenty of hot water. The pool was lovely, clean and never too cold. There were always plenty of sun loungers available. Although the villa was quite a walk from Vilamoura Marina it was in such a beautiful peaceful setting, with butterflies fluttering about, birds tweeting and flying around, just perfect!! The staff were all very welcoming and helpful too.

Isabel who greeted us at Reception was extremely professional, helpful and kind. The pool was beautifully maintained and clean. The villa was slightly tired-looking and would benefit from a refurbishment, and either air-con or fans. The maids/cleaners were excellent and friendly. It was a pity that the bistro/restaurant weren't open, as we feel they would do good business selling drinks, ices, breakfasts, etc.. Nice restaurant/meal at Prado do Golf, with nice staff, doing good business at Prado Villas loss... but still a car drive away. Car is essential for easy access to shops, town etc..

We booked this hotel very last minute and we weren't expecting much for the price we paid, but it completely surpassed expectations. Cosy little room with a great balcony that got full sunlight for most of the late afternoon. There was plenty of space in the room along with lots of storage and a bathroom that had everything we needed. We had initially booked for half board only; during check-in we were accidentally charged city tax (which was only 12 EUR, so really not a big deal) but the receptionist, Luis, was profusely apologetic and upgraded us to full board to compensate which was beyond kind of him. Our meals at the hotel were great — nothing particularly fancy but plenty of options and lots of local cuisine options too which we found delicious and fun to try new things. The eatery staff were also very pleasant and quick to clear tables and provide assistance. We only used the sun terrace facilities once -- as the hotel is situated so close to the beach that we spent most of our time there -- but the time we did spend on the terrace was peaceful and not too hard to snag a spot on the loungers either. Throughout our stay, we ran into Luis a handful of times and he was always extremely friendly and welcoming, and any requests we made were met graciously. For the low price we paid for this hotel, it was absolutely worth it and if we find ourselves heading to Quarteira again we will definitely be checking for a spot here.

You can tell it’s an older building and no luxury, but it’s very well-maintained, staff is friendly and the vibes were awesome. People travelling from all over to catch some Sun, restaurant had an upbeat atmosphere, and rooms were clean and well-aired. Everyone there was smiling. Shower was very hot and powerful. Views were amazing! Surpassed my expectations!

Good breakfast, something for everyone. Attentive staff, very clean and well stocked. Room was good size,very clean, bed comfortable. Lovely balcony area. Hotel is perfectly situated for the beach, restaurants, shops, exploring the wider area and the bus station. Plenty of free parking by the hotel.

Only stayed for a short break. The rooms are spacious and are cleaned daily. The beds are probably the most comfortable you’ll ever sleep in. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun beds close to the pool or in a shaded garden area. There is one thing you notice around this hotel is the wonderful smell, probably from the complimentary Molten Brown toiletries. The from reception to the housekeepers the staff are friendly and helpful. A lovely place to stay but a little on the expensive side.

Overall a very nice stay in a classic contemporary hotel. Rooms very nice & spent a lovely few hours by the pool which was well maintained with comfortable beds & quality towels. Restaurant by pool was also a treat with white linen & experienced waiters. Piano being played in reception was an added feature.

Location 25 min from Faro airport and Lagos an hour drive. You will want a car if you plan to visit the many beautiful beaches in the Algarve.

Big impersonal hotel but super clean, has got all the facilities, breakfast is amazing, everywhere you look, you see palm trees. The beach is 10 min walk away, or there is a free shuttle from the hotel. The hotel has a concession on the beach. You can hire a bed and shade and get a towel. It is very safe. Leave your books, cream etc..at lunch, walk 2 min and choice of 5 restaurants on the beach, then back to your bed. Always a lovely breeze on the beach. 6pm, back to the hotel for your 1st cocktail by the pool. What a life!

The hotel staff, especially Carlos, were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the main tourist area with lots of restaurants and cafés. The breakfast was basic but fine, the coffee was great, checkout at 12:00 was perfect for us, and the Wi-Fi was fast. Honestly, we can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

Amazing staff tried their best to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was pre-packed because of Covid restrictions but chief was very helpful with picking up some tasty extras. Location is close to tourists landmarks and surprisingly quiet.

Great base for Algarve "Golden Triangle". Excellent location close to Quinta "Square" and the Formosa beach. Comfortable clean hotel with adequate lounge and kitchen facilities. Large pool. plenty of sun loungers. Speedy check in with pleasant efficient reception staff. Excellent breakfast. Advise asking for room on first or second floor with pool view (ground floor can be gloomy and lack of privacy). Definitely need a hire car here. Overall recommended for families and couples using it as a base for travel to golf and nearby resorts.

Young couple who are very familiar with the area having spent every year in summer here, first time to Formosa hotel and have to say this is an an louts gem of a hotel!! The breakfast was brilliant and pool was sunny all day and quiet all day always had beds free no pool bed games!! Stunning location and stunning hotel!! Loved our stay!

Hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Lovely pool area and no problem getting sunloungers. I would recommend a car as the hotel is not within walking distance of any other restaurants or supermarkets and taxi's are quite expensive, although not too far a drive from quinto do largo. The beach is lovely but sun beds are expensive compared to other areas in algarve as are the snack bars, etc. There was great choice at the breakfast buffet and the 2 bedroom apartments were very spacious. Would recommend.

This hotel worked very well for my family. The apartment style family room provided plenty of space for us to not be tripping over ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool looked inviting (too cold this time of year) and the beach was a reasonable walk down a nature trail. The children loved walking down to the beach. An access road to the few restaurants at the beach made it convenient for them to walk down with their Mother for a morning stroll while I finalized the day's activities and then drove down to quickly pick them up.

Fantastic stay at Martnhal Quinta. The 3 bed townhouse was huge and beautifully decorated (I think it had been recently refurbished). The kitchen was well appointed, rooms cleaned daily and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Downsides: the villa pool was pretty small (but the central pool is large and lovely), there are steps down to the villa so not ideal with a buggy, there is not much of an atmosphere at the resort centre. It could do with more of an evening restaurant. Overall, really recommend.

We hired a 2bed villa with pool , villa was great everything you could need . Maid service and concierge great . Shop had everything but wider selection at the local supermarket. Pool hangout great . My only comment for our villa was the sun loungers were not too comfortable and the restaurant deserted in the evenings . Lots of local fab restaurants to choose from

Cannot fault the villa at all. Last year we stayed there in a 4 bed detached villa and this year in a 3 bed townhouse as we had one less in party. We were worried it was going to be much smaller in comparison but we were pleasantly surprised. It’s great to have the communal pool to visit too and there is plenty of play equipment to keep children entertained. The breakfast is excellent if you want a day off. My only complaint is that although the villas were super clean, the toilet facilities at the pool were less so and not checked regularly.

Visited with my wife, daughter and 2 grandsons in a 4 bed villa with pool. Lots of space inside and very well equiped ... pool fenced off for safety of grandkids as requested. Breakfast buffet was good and staff very patient. Kids Club for 3 year old grandson was well organised and he enjoyed himself. Local golf excellent.

Friendly service. Nice outdoor space with warm swimming pool. The pool and outside area really make this hotel together with its position close to Faro airport and not far from the town. Good parking and quiet area.

Really liked this hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the pool was a bonus. The breakfast was substantial and had many choices. The beds were of good quality. The staff were friendly and polite and very helpful. The only thing missing for me was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I thought the hotel was really good value and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Loved the chance to relax by the pool at the end of a long day driving. Plenty of parking in the forecourt. Our room on the first floor was spotlessly clean but Im not sure we like the Ibis mattress system as it moved off the base easily. A very basic breakfast is available from 4am which was perfect for our very early flight. The huge modern shopping complex about a 20 minute walk from the hotel was a bonus as it offered a large restaurant area with many dinner options.

Clean basic bedroom, reasonably comfortable. Small TV with plenty of freeview channels and adequate sockets for recharging own devices. No tea/coffee in room. In-house restaurant & bar - basic menu, quite expensive for pre-prepared meals. Near airport, so good as a stopover. Nice outside seating area with small swimming pool.

Parking around the hotel is free, though they offer secure underground parking at additional cost. Indoor and outdoor pools very clean, though outdoor pool not heated. Excellent marina is 2 minutes walk away, with good selection of bars/restaurants.

We were staying to attend a wedding we found the hotel staff excellent and the pool area good but in high season I'd say there would be a shortage of sunbeds. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.It was an excellent location close to the marina and all the shops etc. I thought the indoor pool was in need of a revamp as it was a little dated.

The property was well located a few minutes walk from the marina, restaurants, and bars as well as had excellent breakfast buffet, exercise classes, an indoor and outdoor pools and jacuuzzi. Didn't sample the dinner menu but another guest told me it was very good. Very relaxing environment with large lobby with comfortable chairs, bar and TV's playing sports. Reception and cleaning staff very helpful.

The hotel is nice and the staff are great, but the Air Conditioning is really bad in the rooms making it really uncomfortable to sleep. If you’re going to this hotel during the high temperature season you need to be aware of this. A room fan would help this, but without this you will sweat all night. The pool area is nice and there is plenty of room to either relax around the pool, or away from the pool on the grass. Breakfast is ok serving a selection of hot and cold food. The bar serves nice food and drink.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. They were cleaned everyday and towels changed. The pool was lovely but the area around the pool could do with a bit of upgrading (lots of uneven/broken tiles) which could pose a danger to children/elderly. The food was nice, good selection at breakfast however the hot food was cold most mornings. We only had breakfast so it didn’t bother us too much. Other than this we were extremely satisfied with our stay and proximity to the beach and marina were perfect. Just a short 10 minute walk to either.

We booked very late and as a result got a room upgrade, which was very nice, although sea view is stretching it a bit. Hotel is in a convenient position for the Marina and shops, a 5 minute walk to the beach though you get charged €7 each to use the loungers. You can walk along the promenade to Quarteira in about 15 mins. Pool area is relaxing, good size pool and plenty of space and loungers. Breakfast was ok, busy but you can eat inside or out.

We stayed here for a few days with friends. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious & well equipped, our room had a very big double bed, I would say bigger than a Super King. We had a nice sea view from our balcony. Pool area is great with plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast had a great choice for everyone.

Lovely hotel with a really nice pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless and breakfast plates cleared away quickly. 5 minutes walk to the beach and to the Marina. Have stayed in both Dom Pedro hotels in Vilamoura and would happily recommend both.

Another lovely stay at this hotel. Wonderful view from our balcony. Superb breakfast with very friendly staff and fantastic view across the pool to the sea. Concession on the beach is perfect too. Looking forward to our next stay.

The room, the service, the breakfast, the restaurants, the bar, the cocktails, the swimming pool, the beach, where do I stop. Our cleaner Dossalina was the best and most friendly maid we have encountered and we have travelled! The barmen (mixologists) were fantastic. All the people on reception were superb and were there to help and serve att all times. Been before and will be going again, see you soon hopefully Dona Filipa :)

Great location 3 mins walk from the beach. Staff were very helpful and always had a smile on their face. Good breakfast with both outside and inside areas to sit. We had a premier room, with sea view. Nice pool area and guests have a dedicated area on the beach for guests. A few parts of the hotel, could do with a bit of TLC, but overall a great hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Dona Filipa. The pool area is beautiful, though I imagine could get over-crowded in summer. Breakfast was great although service in the restaurant (in getting cutlery, hot drinks or having plates cleared) was quite hit and miss. Our room was large and comfortable but I would not say it is 5 star standard, overall a good four star hotel.
