5/5 Stars Our stay at Casa de Levada was truly beyond our expectations! The house itself was absolutely adorable, but the outdoor space was what really made it special. The beautiful gardens, infinity pool, Hobbit bar, and farm animals all came together to create a magical atmosphere that we never wanted to leave. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and the property was immaculately maintained. We were constantly discovering new and delightful touches, from the vibrant flowers to the friendly farm animals. The freshly baked bread in the morning was a treat, and the breakfast was simply amazing. We loved every bite! We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend Casa de Levada to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience.

One of the best accommodations I've ever had! Beautiful environment. Cute animals in the garden. Hobbit bar next to the pool with an ocean view. It was top!!! We love that breakfast ingredients (eggs, hams, cheese, butter, juice, jam) and recipes are in the kitchen so that we can prepare them ourselves whenever we want. If only the pool could be with warm water tho Overall very satisfied <3

Probably one of the nices places in Madeira. Absolutly amaizing rooms with everything you need. the staff brings fresh bread in the morning, everything else is in the room already. For evening drink, there is a bar by the pool. great starting point for tours or just to hang out by the pool and enjoy the views. Will defenitly be back!

An incredible place with an ocean view. Very quiet, stunning interior design, lots of beautiful little details — tableware, decor, lighting. Excellent large swimming pool with a depth of 1.5 metres along its entire length. There is a small pool for children.

We had an absolutely perfect stay! The view is breathtaking, the pool is large, clean, and a real pleasure to enjoy. The rooms are spacious, modern, spotless, and very comfortable – every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The host is wonderful, always available and incredibly helpful, which made us feel truly at home. A perfect vacation in every way – we would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment in a stunning location. The place was well equipped, with good instructions and easy communication with the host. Bed was super comfy. Everything was clean and well maintained. We particularly liked the BBQ area and the amazing views from our terrace and the pool. The surrounding area was really quiet and peaceful. It's not really walking distance to the main town of Calheta, but a few minutes in the car takes you to the town centre and the supermarket.

Tons of privacy, you can pretty much be alone by the pool, very quiet and calm area. Amazing views of the sea. The property has everything you need to cook, even wash your clothes. Amazing!

Everything was really nice: comfortable and spacious duplex, nice swimming pool, BBQ place and a very supportive manager Garry. But the best - a breathtaking view from the terrace. And of course - a little cat 😜

The view from our balcony was amazing, and the room and facilities were spacious.

Beautiful property and spacious, comfortable room. Lovely views and pool. Great breakfast included. Massage, spa and sauna available at reasonable prices, though we did not use them. Restaurant avialable for lunch and dinner- delicious!

Deluxe room was spacious [c 40m2] with private terrace. Very quiet. Beds excellent. Breakfast had some different choices every day. Can eat on the terrace. Dinner also had daily specials. Access to Levada Nova was c 500m up the hill. Good pool for swimming laps. You definitely need a car.

Lovely view from our room, we made use of the lovely pool. The restaurant served a delicious dinner and breakfast was excellent. Close to some great hiking areas.

We loved everything about it!! Wonderful location with sea view, lovely pool and beautiful surroundings. The food was organic and delicious, we only had dinner at the hotel because of the good food. And the staff was super kind and helpful. So we can absolutely recommend this beautiful hotel to anybody who wants a dream stay at Madeira.

Saccharum hotel is a really special place. It is a small paradise that has an infinity pool with an ocean view, amazing gardens, indoor pool, great staff, and really restaurants with amazing views of the ocean. It is located very close to Calheta sandy beach. It is highly recommended if you would like to have a calm and picturesque stay in one of the most beautiful hotels in Madeira. I will definitely come back here again.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful view of the ocean. We loved the infinity pool. We didn't love the bathroom set up which included a shower workout a door. Pool area on top floor was nice but lacked stable wifi and no bar service at the chairs. You have to walk up to a bar to get a drink. There was not a store in the hotel so had to walk 3 blocks to get sunscreen.

A beautiful hotel with a lovely infinity pool overlooking the sea, and the staff are excellent. The food was good but expensive. We found it much better value to eat at the nearby restaurants at the marina. We found our room and balcony (with half ocean view) lovely, but the bathroom facilities are a very odd design and lack privacy. It's very strange that there's no shower room door, particularly given that the shower entrance is opposite the main hotel room door! I would recommend this hotel for a luxury stay in a beautiful location.

This hotel is glorious. The restaurant has great food, the drinks at both bars are good as well. We spent a decent amount of time at the infinity pool in the afternoons, the view is absolutely stunning. Super clean and the staff is amazing and helpful. Gave us some great ideas to continue exploring the island.

It is not often I am so pleased with a hotel! The bests are firm and extremely comfortable, the bedding very good quality. We were premium and didn’t really make that much use, but what we did use was lovely… spa, breakfast in the club ( although sometimes waiting for food and drink a while). Staff in the club so friendly and efficient. The Bali beds on the beach very comfy. Infinity pool beautiful. All in all a great hotel in a lovely location.

The hotel is beautiful, with gorgeous terrace to sit in the sun and enjoy a cup of tea. There is really big common area where you can use chairs, tables, kitchen, pool table and games, swimming pool, sunbeds. View is beautiful. Lovely personnel, tasty brekfast with desserts - homemade cakes, every morning different cake. There is a very good restaurant only 2 minute walk from hotel. That hotel is really great place if you want to relax and have lazy day by the pool. Private parking is available - that is rare in Madeira.

The garden is great to relax and inside you have a pool table and a really nice bar area. There is ample parking. Great place for a weekend getaway.

Hotel is very nice with all the amenities that you can ask for. There is even a pool table and little shop in case you need to have something for drink or eat. There is much space to get a rest and beautiful swimming pool. Breakfast is all you need! Personnel is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean.

The staff who work there is extremely friendly and helpful - no problem with late check-in (at 9pm) and early check-out (7am) - in the same building there is a restaurant which serves delicious food! Fully recommended to try it! - due to early check-out we couldn't join breakfast so the staff prepared food bags for us the night before so we weren't hungry in the morning - it was everything that we needed for breakfast! - close to the hotel there is a small shop - it has plenty of parking spots around the hotel - the hotel is located in a great local area, it was a pleasure to stay there - the room was very clean

A very spacious room with a big balcony with an ocean view was a great experience. There is a huge TV in the room. Located in a very quiet place but there is a bit of construction nearby which can be heard. Tasty food in the restaurant with good portions, especially fish soup. Kind and friendly personnel.

Very friendly, relaxing and cosy atmosphere at this hotel. Great view from our balcony. We got our room upgraded. The beds were REALLY comfortable, a rarity during our stay in Madeira as a whole.

Good position in the west part of the island, rooms simple, clean, comfortable. Delicious buffet breakfast in the terrace. Personal really polite and friendly.

The room is really spacious and clean. The area is quite and the place is really close to the ocean. The staff is really friendly and, besides the breakfast, you can also have a drink/ something to eat in the rest of the day. The breakfast was very tasty. I really liked the fact that all the tables have on them images from Madeira (levada's, birds, mountain peaks) - this means attention to details from the owners.

Pros: location, really calm, the views from the room over the vinewayrds and the sea. The pool and the amazing restaurant at a very decent price. Cons: no space to hang wet stuff when coming back from the pool or a hike, nothing dries out in the bathroom. The breakfast starts at 8am which is wayyyy too late when you want to hike and it's not buffet which makes it waste a lot of things and is not quick. The staff also should be able to make restaurants recommendations outside of tbe hotel.

Nice pool, great breakfast, lovely room, comfy bed, great shower, overall great experience. We also stayed for dinner for two nights and the food was absolutely divine. Really enjoyed this stay. We had a small fridge in our room and there was a bottle of water in it when we arrived. I also loved the vineyard, vegetable garden they had - all food is fresh and you can taste it.

We had a fantastic stay here, honestly couldn’t fault it. Staff were all exceptional- extremely polite, friendly and happy. The restaurant was lovely, genuinely great food and service to match. The pool area was a nice little surprise with outdoor showers and sun loungers for every guest. We’re sad we only booked 1 night! Thank you to everyone at Socalco for making our stay so enjoyable!

This felt like a resort. Everything you need is on property. There is a pool to relax, plenty of amazing food, and the staff was beyond helpful and kind. The property itself is gorgeous, overlooking the coast. Our rooms were clean and nicely decorated. We will come back to Madeira to stay at this location.

Beautiful hotel with lovely views and a great ethos. We loved the fresh food straight from the garden and relaxing by the dipping pool.

Everything! The views , the surrounding nature. The helpful hosts. The added touch of a bag of fresh bread for each pod every morning. Great location for exploring the south of the island , although in all honesty the north is equally as accessible from Calheta. Calheta itself has a lovely beach and promenade area with a good variety of restaurants with chilled beach vibes. The kids loved the pool on site ❤️

Oh my, this was an amazing experience, really! We cut our last day in half so we could come back early and actually enjoy the most incredible views. I could stay for another week or two or more just to enjoy the views and the comfort ♥️. The pods are set in a beautiful garden, you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. They provide complementary bread in the morning and there is a small “self-service shop” where you can buy some food and drinks, there is also a washing machine available, oh and a pool 😍.

This was the best place we have ever stayed. We loved the view so much, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The view is something you won't get over. Awesome pool, washing facilites to use (1 euro for detergent pod) and free bread for all of the pods. We highly recommend this spot & loved watching the sunset every afternoon.

A million dollar view from every hotel room. The rooms are big. Restaurant with delicious meals in the same building. The staff is very nice. The breakfast is quite rich, but they could make decent coffee, only instant coffee was offered. But maybe it would have been given if you had asked. We didn't ask. In February, the pool was freezing cold. Calheta beach (sandy beach), suitable for swimming, is only 2.5 km away, and there are also several good and affordable restaurants there.

The whole villa was so clean and smelling good, really cozy and beautifully decorated paying attention to the smallest detail. I will not forget the first impression of walking through the hall that was so clean and smelling nice even if it was just a hall :) I really recommend taking option with breakfast - it had a variety of eggs, cheese, hams, tropical fruits, warm bread from the next door bakery, juice, coffee of tea, yoghurt...and I hope I didn't forget anything. It was all great quality from local products, delicious, royal breakfast. Oh, and the ocean view from the balcony..Much love for Elaine and her mother who run the place together. Can't wait to be back.

I'm not one to often give 10s on accommodations, but Villa Amore does deserve my first 10. The rooms were very specious, clean and complementary drinks were included in the fridge upon arrival, free of charge. The room has a private terrace from which you can have an uninterrupted look at the sea. The breakfast is exceptional as well, you get something different everyday, which is prepared when you enter the breakfast room. It doesn't get any fresher! They were even giving us bags to take along the leftovers to take them with us for lunch, therefore, an exceptional breakfast. The owner was very kind and open to help as well. She guided us around and was sure that everything was working properly for us. She also helped us find good restaurants nearby. The rooms were cleaned every two days, and we literally got like 5 towels per person to use. All of these facilities were provided for a very good price as well. I would highly recommend staying here.

Elaine who runs the property is an absolute joy; super informative and accommodating. One example being that I was leaving early for the airport and she prepared me a take away breakfast. Parking is easy, the view of the ocean is mesmerising and you’re tucked into the mountain for the best of both worlds. Lovely little town with some great restaurants. Breakfast at the property is fresh, served individually, and the bakery goods are absolutely delicious; large portions to set you up for the day. The bed was gigantic and comfortable, large clean rooms also. Beautiful building. I can’t speak highly enough; for the price it’s absolutely spot on.

Villa Amore is located in the small and peaceful village Paul do Mar that is a good base for all sorts of trips around the island, especially in the Western part. It offers free parking and quite spacious, well-equipped rooms with the great ocean view from the balcony. There were breakfasts served every day that contained some tasty local bread, meet, cheese and fresh fruits with possibility to order a warm meal, e.g. crumbled eggs. There is also a nice bakery downstairs that offers some delicious local cakes. The staff was really nice and helpful and I can definitely recommend this place.

Every aspect of our stay was great. The owner is cheerful, helpful and caring. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the huge bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were incredible - big portions, variety of cheeses and meats, eggs, fresh bread, lots of fresh fruits. The coffee was very good. It filled us up for many-hours treks on levadas. There are multiple really good seafood restaurants within walking distance and the bakery downstairs is excellent. Easy, free parking. It's a great spot to explore west of the island from.

The inn was really lovely, it was very clean and in a great location. Very close to the supermarket, beach and the harbour. We had a view of the ocean from our room. We had no problem parking on the street nearby. The bed was very comfortable. The towels to hire for the beach were really convenient. Overall fantastic value for money. The owners were super friendly and funny and the food and drinks from the rum bar were delicious!

Spacious and clean room with a large bed and a big modern bathroom. Quiet atmosphere, air conditioning, and the beach just a short walk away. The bar downstairs had good breakfast and great coffee.

Only a few minutes walk to the beach, the Rum Inn was a great place to stay at. From here it was very easy to visit the western part of the island, but not only; Funchal is half an hour away. The room was very clean and offered everything you needed, beach towels could be rented for 2.5 eur. Communication with the host and the check-in went perfectly, leaving the luggage there early on the check-in day was not a problem at all. Downstairs there is a snack bar with super friendly hosts, great snacks and super cocktails. We had here the breakfast and spent the evenings with some drinks. Really worth recommended. We would definitely go back to this place again.

A nice and cozy room. Clean and spacious. A few minutes from the beach and maybe 5-7 minutes walk from good restaurants and supermarket. Very nice bar downstairs where you can order a breakfast and stay for evening drinks. Very much liked my stay at Rum Inn. Definitely worth every cent of its price.

The property is located on top of the clouds 😁 you wake up with the best views and are surrounded by tranquility, we looked forward to returning to the place every night after a busy day of exploring to settle in and have a glass of wine with the view and peacefulness:) also you are super close to one of the best trails on the island! The kids loved the indoor pool, since you are a bit higher up, the temperature go down a bit so indoor pool was perfect for the early morning or late evening swims before or after we have return home.

We really liked the challet and the place itself. It was quiet, with great views and with borrowed car we can go anywhere with no problem. The communication over the whatsapp was perfect, we also received nice gift for the beginning - tasty snacks of mainly local food. The beds were comfortable as well as outside sitting, the kitchen had all equipment we needed and even more ,-) The swimming pool is very nice with views, just the watter could be a bit warmer. But our litte one loved it anyway. We have also tried the nearby restaurant and the food was very yummy.

The views were amazing, it was really well equipped and spotlessly clean. Everything was first class, really comfortable and luxurious. Although we never met Caterina she was in constant contact and was very helpful. The pool was lovely too.

Super clean accommodation with all appliences you may need including few coffee capsules as wells as dishwasher ones to start with. We also used washing machine and dryer which worked very well. It has amazing view from the terrase. Swimming pool temperature was good, not warm but not cold either. We were very happy with our stay.

Sunset House was the perfect place to stay for us on Madeira. The views in the evening are amazing, and waking up with the view to the ocean is equally impressive. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and gave us great advice about what to see on the island. The rooms and common areas are very spacious, and cooking dinner and enjoying it on the balcony made us feel right at home. The shared bathrooms were no problem at any point, since there are 2 and only a few rooms. Thanks for this wonderful experience!

Very secluded but great coffee shop and couple of good local restaurants 5 min drive away. The host Des was super friendly and shared some local tips.

Property located on a vineyard, quiet and with amazing views. We had a little house where everything seemed new. Very clean and spacious. Nice swimming pool. There were optional massages and yoga, though we didn't try. Restaurant on the site, with a beautiful ocean view and a good selection of wines. In general, very relaxing atmosphere. Just a note that the path from pool/rooms to the restaurant and reception area is uphill, so it is better to be in shape if you want to walk around the property.

Beautiful setting. We stayed in the main house so access to a small pool. Room was clean and had direct access to outside with small table and chairs and main pool area. Quiet and relaxing location, a short drive off the main motorway. Lovely breakfast, plenty of choice. Staff were kind to organise a taxi for us to a local restaurant. Used their own restaurant another night, both food and wine were great.

We also got massages that were lovely and relaxing. Breakfast spread was lovely. Highly recommend the place. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Everything :) this place was a pleasant surprise. A picturesque location with a comfortable and modern feeling, offering all the needed facilities: pools, spa, yoga retreat, wine tasting. It gave us the most accurate feeling of a vineyard on an island, on one side you could admire the large vineyard and on the other side you could see the ocean. The place is very clean, the breakfast was delicious and we had the best rest in this place.

This apartment is in a peaceful location with amazing sea and coast views in one of the sunniest areas of Madeira. Private outside areas, interesting gardens and the communal pool area is well maintained with views over the sea .There is also a stunning sunset lounge with a swing seat and comfortable chairs to watch the sun go down The accommodation is within 5 minutes drive of a large supermarket and several good quality restaurants and the host can arrange for daily delivery of fresh bread. Steffi is a very friendly and knowledgable host and replied quickly to messages before our arrival. Excellent directions from the airport too. Would highly recommend

Steffi and Alex are very friendly and speak perfect English and German. They are happy to accommodate your requests (should you have any). The apartment is fantastic and the view is truly sublime. You can look out over the ocean from the lazy couch on the terrace. During breakfast we were surprised by a group of dolphins jumping through the water. Steffi pointed this out to us! Fantastic!!! 'Golfinho' means dolphin in Portuguese. Now we know why it's called 'Quinta Golfinho'!

The apartment with two bedrooms/two bathrooms were exceptional in comfort and cleanliness. You cannot beat the ocean view from the terrace, especially when the dolphins swim by and the only noise is the rustling of the banana tree leaves. The kitchen is fully equipped and the showers are even nicer than we have at home. The hosts are available if you need them and you'll hardly notice other guests. This is the place to be for an off the beaten path, peaceful holiday. Beautiful beaches and walks are close by. We never drove more than hour and explored the entire island.

The villa is pure luxury, everything you could possible want for a relaxing holiday. Every possible way has been made to ensure fantastic views of the sea and wonderful laid out gardens are there for all. Steffi and Alex are fabulous hosts constantly working to keep the complex clean and looking its best. The bonus was a lovely bottle of bubbly on our arrival which set the tone for what was a beautifull time at Quinta Golfinto.

The location is probably the best on the island you have the absolute best spot for the sunset, the horizon is INCREDIBLE. The pods are modern/ clean and literally have everything you need, we went to local markets two days and got beautiful local produce to cook in the pod and I had everything I needed fo cooking. They are spotlessly clean and it is very peaceful here. The pool is stunning perfect if you want to relax or maybe swim a few laps (lots of chlorine tho so mind your eyes) They drop you breakfast in bed in the morning in the most incredible little basket and think of everything. I have absolutely no faults with this accommodation every detail is thought of even down to some amazingly beautiful oil that is burning in the pod making it so homely

Perfect location for exploring Madeira Island, well placed for Calheta marina where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. Absolutely recommend and will definitely return.

Very clean and cosy, great looking studio, quiet and with a great view over the ocean. All needed facilities and heated swimming pool. And, of course, Paula, very nice and accommodating, providing clear and helpful check-in instructions.

Everything was very good. The room is spacious and clean. The pool is big and has a nice view. The host provides you with very clear instructions to get to the accommodation.

We were welcomed with a cheese and meat platter and a bottle of wine. Our host was very helpful with everything. We especially enjoyed the ocean views and relaxing by the pool.

Fantastic place, super clean, cosy and well equipped with great location for exploration trips. We were greeted personally by the host lady who prepared a welcome plate with delicatessen. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the house and especially kids enjoyed the pool very much. Absolutely loved the place. Highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who comes to Madeira! Eddy was a very welcoming host. The place was extremely tidy and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We loved the balcony with the stunning view of the ocean and the field of banana plants. We only stayed here for one night but definitely wish we booked it for longer! The pool was also very nice.

Large comfortable apartment with a nice size bedroom, good kitchen facilities a nice lounge area with a nice sofa a TV and even found some channels in English and some film channels where you could restart films that were already on. There is even a Bluetooth speaker in the room so I took mine for no reason. The balcony has a lovely view over the sea and local area. You definitely need a car here and parking is on the road outside. It is halfway up a steep hillside. The local supermarket in calheta we found very good. This is only about a 5 minute drive away and there are a number of restaurants in calheta on the front. There is one restaurant within walking distance which took us about 15 minutes down a dimly lit path and quite a few steps and through a banana plantation, all good fun though! For the west side of the island we found this location great, only about 20 mins to the top of the island. A very quiet relaxing place to stay, perfect for us.

We had a very pleasant stay in the Captain's View apartment - our second time there. The view from the terrace is lovely with plenty of space for eating and sitting. The apartment is well equipped, clean and spacious. Great shower. Very comfortable large bed. Nice restaurants and boat trips in Calheta a short drive away. Parking on the road outside. Helen and Chris live above and messaged us to get in touch if we needed anything. We love Casa Serena.

We loved our stay at Casa Serena. The apartment is spacious, clean and well maintained. We were welcomed with fruits and a bottle of wine. Helena is very friendly and helpful. We loved the view from the terrace where we enjoyed our meals. We would love to come back!

Fabulous apartment in a stunning and convenient location. Easy access to nearby trails and sites. Supermarket 8min away and local quiet bars within easy walking distance (our favourite for pre and postcode hike refreshments was Bar Africano). Hosts, Helen & Chris, are superb: providing thoughtful welcome gifts and lots of little extras that make Casa Serena a geuine home from home. They discretely on hand if you need them, quick to reply to any messages and available for support if needed. We absolutely loved our stay, so much so we booked again for next year on day 1 of our trip. The facilities are excellent and the views from the balcony means every day starts with a real feel good factor. Thank you Helen & Chris.

Fantastic. Spacious modern villa with private heated pool and stunning views over quiet valley and ocean. Good range of seaside towns and villages with choice of restaurants within 20 minutes drive. You need a car though to be fully flexible.

Fantastic location and excellent, comfortable villa. We were seven adults and all of us loved it. Kitchen was well equiped for cooking in. Great pool with fantastic view. Quiet neighbourhood with little traffic. All rooms air conditioned. Good laundry room.

The house is really cozy space that you have all for yourself. It's not the most modern apartament I've been to, but it has it's vibe. For this price it's much more than I would expect. You have a perfect view from the patio, a parking, the beds are comfy, the kitchen has everything what we needed. Smooth check-in any time. Definitely I would come back.

Beautiful little house with astonishing view. Plenty of space inside with a master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dining area downstairs, and an upstairs area with two additional beds, sofa and working desk. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need and has a little garden and parking space outside with lots of different seating. It’s a peaceful and quiet place, no noises. The owner Gabriel is very welcoming and gave great tips where to go and where to eat. He gave great information about the island. The stay was wonderful and I can highly recommend this place when visiting Madeira.

The house is amazing, there is everything you might need and more, kitchen equipment, washing mashine, even the heater. All clean. In the garden there is a place to sit with an amazing view.

This property has a stunning view of the water below, the agricultural hillside and is remote, offering the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the countryside. We loved having access to hiking trails that left from the property, and returning to a full kitchen that allowed us to cook and relax in the evening. The appliances, dishwasher and washing machine worked perfectly and the high speed internet connection allowed us to send work emails and video conference. Gabriel is the perfect host!

Lovely view, openness and wonderful infinity pool. Gabriel and Jorge were outstanding hosts willing to do everything in their power to make it a special vacation.

There’s so much to like about this place- the setting is stunning with magnificent views all around, from the room, from your bed, the terrace, the pool. We really enjoyed the infinity pool. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful setting and relatively close to great hiking and things to do/see. Finally, Jorge was a wonderful and welcoming host with excellent recommendations.

The highlights of the accommodation are the stunning sea view, the peaceful atmosphere, and definitely the pool overlooking the ocean. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, and the kitchenette is perfectly adequate for preparing breakfast (which you can enjoy on the lovely terrace) or a simple evening meal such as a pasta salad. Oh, and the Nespresso coffee machine is certainly a nice bonus as well. Jorge, one of the owners, is very friendly and helpful. He proactively shares tips about the area and possible activities. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for couples.

Wonderful place to stay in a lovely part of Madeira. Jorge and Gabriel are the perfect hosts, so welcoming and pleasant with loads of recommendations and great communication. Rooms are clean with lovely facilities, great pool and the views are heavenly. Good location, less than 5 mins drive to the beach in Calheta. Highly recommended.

We were welcomed personally , very friendly and provided with the key. The contact with Nelia was very helpful and friendly. Our appartment had a stunning view from the balcony, even the bedroom. I loved it to watch to the mountains and down the valley, sunset was great too. The appartment was equiped with everything you need to prepare food. Nothing was missing. Calheta has som nice cafes nearby in walking distance, a big supermarket is near the beach and some good restaurants. Walking to the beach down takes about 30 min, up longer..., the road is steep. A car is recommended anyway staying on Madeira and wanting to get around seeing things. I would definately love to come back and stay at this appartment.

Very clean apartment at the top of Calheta Estrella. The apartment was well equipped in terms of a coffee machine, hairdryer etc. it had a small lounge but most of the time is spent on the balcony. Comfortable beds and appreciate the apartment providing beach towels.

The view was simply awesome. The apartment was large and with everything needed. The position is very good, near Calheta beach and near the main road towards Funchal, but quiet. The host was very helpful and gave us a reserved parking spot. Really recommended.
