Beautiful, impeccably maintained hotel in a tranquil setting away from the cruise crowds. Lovely little beach cove area with added areas for snorkeling where we saw pretty fish and interesting corals, and very nice infinity pool right next to the ocean. We really enjoyed our meals at Le Cap restaurant and excellent breakfast at El Caribeño, as well as the thoughtful and high quality room and bathroom amenities provided. But what impressed us most about this hotel are the people who work there. Everyone we came across was friendly, helpful, and extraordinarily hospitable - which is actually not so common in the hospitality industry!

The property was beautiful with a private beach/cove that was easily accessible from the pool area. We dined on property during our entire stay and the drinks/food were all wonderful (Breakfast buffet at Caribeno, Le Cap for lunch and dinner, pool side service and Dinner at Alfredo di Roma). There was also a variety of water sports offered on property and we rented a Jet Ski, which was easy and fun with kids. We had a beach access room and that was prefect for our family of 4 with little kids. Room was big with a spacious bathroom and lots of closet space.

All was clean except the big swimming pool. We could see the bottom of the pool was dirty. Great breakfast, best location in the island, great staff: David at Faro restaurant, Krishna is the best scuba instructor, Adriana from Scuba Du was friendly, Karla at the concierge desk was very helpful. We’re looking forward to stay there again.

Gorgeous beach, comfortable large and beautiful room. Very nice pools. Breakfast restaurant has gorgeous ocean view and pretty good buffet. Nice staff. Plenty of space but not a horribly long walk anywhere like some resorts. Nice that scuba and snorkel tours can pick you up by boat right at the hotel's dock in front of the restaurant! So convenient. Concierge and taxi stand were helpful and friendly.

Hotel B has been a wonderful hotel stay. From the views to the staff. It is an excellent place for a quite stay. Our main waiter, Gabriel took care of all our needs and wants! The views from anywhere on the property are spectacular and the sunsets from the infinity pool are breathtaking.

Employees the best out of any hotel ive Been to and that is alot of hotels..Bell Man David i think he said that was his name.. iis different in Spanish was very professional and was helpful with my check in...very good guy! I love B Unique, the ubercomfortable bed with seaview, the generous balcony with seview, the sleek infinity pool with seaview, the design of the hotel. Unique B is definitely my favourite hotel in Cozumel and one of my favourites worldwide. Maybe the best asset is the staff, very friendly and competent, they really make us feel like friends. Unique B is lokated on a small cliff, the sea is only a view meters away and invites for swimming and snorkeling - priceless.

Lovely hotel very modernistic in design. The sea view rooms are spacious , comfortable which a large balcony overlooks the pool etc. Fully stocked mini bar with iron and board, complimentary shower gels, hairdryers and the hotel provides a laundry service. Tea and coffee machine etc provided. Infinity pool , jacuzzi, steps down to the sea, small beach inlet. Use of Hotel pool next door which I believe is the sister hotel. Hotel set in quiet part of the island about 10 mins taxi ride to the main town Cozumel, 30 mins by push bike or a good 30 minute stroll. In the other direction some really nice restaurants again about same taxi journey or walk. Recommend The Lobster House - excellent menu - great steaks.

It's a newer hotel with all the latest features and it's in a great location near the cruise ship docks. The rooms were clean and the bed was super comfy. The views of the ocean are great. Staff went above and beyond! I was in Cozumel for a wedding on Isla Pasion and the front desk girls got me a scooter and jeep rental, both were delivered to me with ease. As a woman traveling solo I never felt the least bit uncomfortable, I felt I was completely safe walking freely like I lived there. Snack bar is very nice with the infinity pool right there. The restaurant next door is amazing. The only thing missing is an ice machine. Oh and did I mention the staff was fantastic!! I Definitely recommend Puerto Libre for family or solo travelers!!

The room was lovely, very comfortable and clean with an unbeatable sea view. The staff were fantastic, and very prompt with their service. The food options were great, and the spa amenities were also very good. The pool area is the best place to be in the resort, with dolphins swimming past while you sit in the infinity pool.

We stayed at Hotel B for our first anniversary. The views and staff are outstanding. The sunsets from the infinity pool overlooking the ocean are amazing! With 2 restaurants and bars onsite, there were plenty of options for food and drinks without having to go in to town. David and Marco in the front were very helpful and informative about the area. Claudia and Juan provided excellent service with our food and cocktails. We can't wait to go back!

Wonderful boutique hotel with amazing views! Felt like we spent the day at a spa with the hammocks, infinity pool and view of the ocean. The included breakfast was such an amazing touch and the lunch and drinks were also great. Omar was our amazing waiter and made sure we were taken care of all day! Would love to go again!

Great hotel! We stayed about a week here doing some diving. The dive shop on site at hotel is amazing:) The snorkeling out front of hotel is pretty good too. The room was great, good ac, good showers. We didn’t have a balcony just a Juliet balcony but it was a beautiful view. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, pool and bar is nice. Lots of loungers to sit and relax. Restaurant and bar close at 6pm. It’s a 1/2 hour easy walk to town or $100 MXN pesos taxi to town. You can ask for a mini fridge in your room if they have one available. You have to buy coffee for the machine in room:(

it was very good value for what it cost. It was a waterfront hotel, with a lovely shaded breakfast area with view to the sea, the breakfast was good, the prices in the menu were very reasonable for a hotel, a decent size pool, a roped off area so you could snorkel safely, the room was a good size, the king size bed comfortable, jungle view was a little boring but better that than viewing concrete houses and the staff was very nice.

We have been coming here since 2007 and love it here. The staff is fantastic, they have a nice, full service restaurant. This year our grandsons loved the two pools, and the adults enjoyed the swim up bar. The snorkel in front is fantastic. Our 2 bedroom villa had everything we needed to prepare our meals, with a gorgeous view of the Caribbean. It’s great place for families.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostelito. Staff was super nice and helped wherever they could. It's just a few minutes away from the ferry and there are a lot of restaurants around. The rooftop pool is just awesome for sunsets. The room is quite big, a bit outdated but still clean. I would definitely stay here again.

This was the best Airbnb I ever stayed well equipped full service modern. Great location good WiFi strong water pressure comfortable beds awesome patios. Mini gym, games bbq on the rooftop and infinity pool. Great staff. my favorite part was that they surprised us with 4 coronas and we had super comfortable rope! I would definitely return to this beautiful property!

Kippal is a nice small hotel in the center of Cozumel. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. If you need anything Mike is always available and ready to assist you. The infinity pool at the roof is amazing, very clean and with a great view of the city and surrounding. We had a great stay at Kippal, for sure recommend it!

The hotel was new and quite nice. From the very start, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and provided assistance quickly for things like offering to call taxis, work with the pool sound system, and provide clean linens. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed (in particular, the AC was strong and worked well for the entire stay—important given the heat!). The views from the hotel were excellent and it was such a pleasure to enjoy the rooftop deck especially (the views of the sunset from the infinity pool were unbeatable). Finally, the location was great—not too close to the downtown so it was quiet but an easy 15 minute walk to the center. We definitely felt safe walking around at all hours as well. Can’t recommend this place enough!

location was perfect so we could walk everywhere and still park the car on the few days we had it. Staff was FANTASTIC, breakfast excellent, pool was stellar and the view sitting at the pool was wonderful! LOVE THIS PLACE!

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, the pier, etc. The rooms were clean and comfortable, tap water was filtered, so drinkable. We had breakfast included, which had a decent variety of options, including fresh fruit. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were fairly sound-proof, we didn't hear much noise from the hallway or outside (and we were there for New Years!). Pool was small, but fine, never many people in it. We had 5 rooms and they were able to put us all on the same floor, which was nice.

The entire hotel, including the lobby, pool area, breakfast area, bathrooms, elevator, were always kept spotless. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is amazing with the food cooked as you like it. In the lobby, there's coffee available in the morning and ice water in the afternoon.

The hotel is very clean. The employees are friendly and courteous. The room is large and the bed is comfortable. We had a deck that looked right out to the SanMiquel harbor and malecon. There was a breakfast buffet that ran from 7:00 am to 11:30 am and the food was filling and good. There is a swimming pool on the main floor that is very nice with lounge chairs and a view.

Excellent location in the city center, near the main square, cafes and restaurants. The turtles live in the hotel, our child and we were delighted. A very tasty breakfast, only 130 pesos per person (omelet with topping, pancakes, butter, jam, tea, coffee, juice, water, cereals with yogurt or milk). The room was clean, comfortable beds (but they are not very long, maximum for a person with a height of 182)

The Mary Carmen Hotel is a charming small hotel in the downtown area on a pedestrian part of the 5th avenue. It was exactly what we were looking for: near restaurants, streets and boutiques to explore, walking distance from snorkeling areas like La Monina and Hemingway restaurant. It was very clean, the air conditioned worked well and wasn't noisy. It is central to go explore the north, south or east part of the island by taxi or car rental. Beach towels available at the front desk. Taxis at the corner of the street. Thanks to Miguel and all the staff for their dedication and smiles : )

But overall great two weeks.

The rooms are always clean - the staff - Amelia and Gilberto are usually on duty when we arrive - excellent employees - always very friendly and very accommodating - the breakfast is excellent - and the wait staff and cook are also very accommodating. We notice improvements to the property are always being made - the upstairs pool, shower and bathrooms are beautiful! Love the new furniture around the pool! Going back ASAP!!

We had previously stayed here 3 years ago & I can truly say it has only gotten better! They have added refrigerators to the rooms, which was really a plus for us! The "included" breakfast is still just as tasty & filling as before. Great location, friendly staff, very clean, large pool, nice pool furniture. We will definitely stay again!

All the staff were helpful and so kind. The room was very comfortable and the whole hotel was very clean. The breakfasts offered a number of options of Mexican and American style food, so it didn't get boring and the food was very tasty. The location couldn't be better. Near shops, restaurants and a public beach with a small pool on the roof.

Very comfortable room. Good storage space. Washing line outside to dry your wet swim things. Very effective air con. Pillow was the best ever, I am buying a new pillow when I get home! Kids loved having a dip in the pool. Great ice cream place round one corner and great breakfast round the other corner. We only stayed one night to get a bit more time in Cozumel with our young kids (were had our main holiday in Playa) and it was perfect. Quiet location.

The location for us was PERFECT!. a quick taxi ride for 100-150 pesos got us to anywhere we wanted to go. The private pool, mini "sand beach", and snorkeling right from the hotel. Kitchen was supplied well enough that we easily made our own breakfasts. There are no stores within a reasonable walking distance, so plan to do a "food run" for supplies. This was clean, updated and felt absolutely safe. Three of us went diving in the morning/early afternoon and our 4th person felt totally safe to enjoy the pool/sand/snorkeling.

Beautiful hotel. Our apartment was lovely, with two terraces looking onto the garden with pool and the sea behind. Very clean. Comfortable bed, big bathroom. The garden with pool and the sandy “beach” really exceptional. We enjoyed so much! The sea is also beautiful, excellent for snorkeling right in front of the hotel. This place is magical!!!

We loved the location! Incredible snorkeling right from the condo’s! If you want an ocean view check on the hotel website because Expedia stated some were ocean view when really they were a partial view. Staff super friendly! No restaurant or bar, but very easy 10-15 min walk to restaurants on a lit sidewalk, very safe! Pool is nice and very clean! Nice to be away from the crowds of downtown, very peaceful! They replaced all the lounge chairs in the raised beach area and beautiful sunsets! Loved it!!

This is the first time staying here and I absolutely loved this place. Julie, the manager was wonderful. Anytime I had a question she was quick to respond and very helpful throughout my trip. Very pleasant. The room was very spacious. Full size fridge, microwave, lots of closet space and very comfortable. Staff is friendly. Security guard outside is always nice. Fantastic snorkeling right outside the condos and lovely pool. Everything was clean. I will 100% be back. Location is close enough to town but enough away to have peace and quiet. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This property is very beautiful with very clean nice pool and access to water. The apartments are kind of dated, but very clean and very comfortable beds. The view is spectacular. Quiet neighborhood, 30 minutes walk to the downtown area. The shower hot water only lasts 2 minutes. There is hardly any hot water, but since Cozumel is warm, this did not bother us much.

Manolo was fantastic as our aqua fit instructor. Azael was lots of fun at the pool games and bingo. Misael went out of his way to help us when we needed duct tape. We liked the pool area, the beach and the food was good. Plenty of chairs at the beach and the pool. We are semi disabled and they came within 5 minutes of we needed a ride. Nice and quiet resort. We liked seeing the peacocks and other animals.

A wonderful time was had by my family at Iberostar. Mauricio gave a demonstration on guacamole making, then Star Friends Beatriz and Gerardo (Gerry) hosted a competition for guacamole making. I won with Texas Heat. Ana brought me drinks at the pool and bar, Caribbean Freeze was a favorite! We also played bingo, Mom won a hat, and took some archery lessons. The resort is beautifully maintained, the air conditioning in the room worked great, and they now have a few pool floats you can borrow if you didn't bring one.

The food was great, the options were great, never waited for a table. The staff were friendly, helpful. The room was perfect and housekeeping was phenomenal. The beach was beautiful, clean, and quiet. Yoga was well done. The pool was sparkling and hand-cleaned. There was entertainment during the day and night. The towels were plush. The beds were comfortable. My husband dove with the dive shop and enjoyed it. Will stay there again!

The hotel is very new and super clean. The receptionist Antonio took very much time to explain us everything about the hotel, the room and gave us tips for the island. The room was very spacious, pretty designed and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was super clean and modern. Shower was perfect. You have a fridge, hair dryer, safe and small balcony. The rooftop with the chillout area and the pool was super nice and you had a great view over the harbor. We will definitely come back to this hotel

Coralia is conveniently sited right in the centre, a few minutes' walk from the ferry terminal, restaurants, eateries and the dive shops. Being new, everything in the room was new and comfortable. The rooftop pool is refreshing to have, though there isn't a bar. Get your drinks from Oxxo or 7-11 nearby. Antonio and Francesca are lovely and friendly people, professional and welcoming. Antonio's recommendation of Coz Coffee Roasters was spot on and we had that for breakfast every single morning. Would not hesitate to recommend Coralia. Cleanliness is impeccable with very comfortable beds.

The hotel looks and feels very new. The room was comfortable and very modern. Bathroom was also great with the walk-in shower with phenomenal shower / water pressure. The staff was also incredible -- super helpful and responsive. The rooftop pool, bar space and view were even better than expected. Cleaning staff did a great job every night too.

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, the cleaners came everyday and made the room very clean and tidy. The hotel has a brilliant central location and a lovely rooftop pool and sunbathing area. Rooms are modern and big.

Had a great visit to Melia resort Cozumel for a "Resort for a day". From checking in, Sergio was so helpful when we didn't have our printout. He explained how pass worked and gave us tips. We were able to have breakfast and lunch. Made to order omelette was delicious and place so clean and great staff. We enjoyed our day at beach and our bartender Jesus was great. Everley at pool bar was so much fun to talk to. I tried several drinks with their help. The atmosphere was relaxing. Hotel takes pride in cleanliness as noticed by all staff keeping areas spotless. Will visit again!!

The resort is absolutely beautiful. Beaches were clean, pools were clean, rooms were clean. The staff is amazing. Extremely friendly and attentive. As for me, they remembered me by name and were always willing to do what we needed to enjoy our stay. We got to see numerous fish, sting rays and little crabs, even a large star fish while snorkeling right there on their property. The drinks were fantastic, we never had to wait and they remembered what we ordered. In our room, the bottle of wine was nice and they restocked our mini fridge with beverages of our choice.

We enjoyed our stay at Melia! It’s not your typical huge resort. We were looking for something comfortable yet quiet and safe, and that’s what we received! The pool bartender Santiago was amazing, and so was Martin and the front desk. Everyone was so kind and hospitable. They have snorkeling equipment, kayaking, etc. The Fish House was really good and the buffet was decent. They didn’t had a decent amount of variety at the buffet, but what they did have was really good. I would definitely go back again.

Beautiful, well kept property. Well maintained beach area. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly. The pool was beautiful and the drinks were delicious. I definitely will be back!

Everything about the hotel was great! The pool at the right temperature, the beach is perfect (although it doesn’t haven sun umbrellas it has palm trees that cover almost 100% of the sun beds). The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My brother got ill and everyone helped, the chef made us special food, the staff took it to our room and everyone was always asking about him. (For no extra charge). Also I lost a dress at the swimming pool, and after maybe 10 minutes talking with a receptionist I had my dress back.

Staff was wonderful. Helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well kept. Multiple pools and the beach only a very short walk from our rooms. There were umbrellas and shaded areas near the pools so I could rest while still watching the kids play. My son loved the kids club and the director made it exciting for him! There were lizards around and my kids loved watching them sunbathing in the grass. Everything was very family friendly. Will definitely book again!

Nice hotel for the kids. They enjoyed the kids pool area! During our stay there were always lounge chairs available, the pools were always clean. The beach area was nice. Did not see any seaweed in Cozumel. It’s a smaller resort for families! All in all our stay was relaxing! If you want to party it’s not a good spot for you. There is a club open until I believe 2am but was almost empty the days we were there. One of the days we went there were about 20 people so it was better!

Great pools and slide area. The entertainment in the evenings is outstanding! The gymnastics, dance acts, singers - all excellent. The children’s disco however… see below. The food was OK - some offerings better than others. But always something to eat. Great location with swimming pools / bars and beach! The drinks - cocktails mostly sugar syrup, but if you ask for preferred spirits / mixers etc it’s all available and included.

The grounds are pretty. The swim up pool bar and pool is very clean and big and good service at bar. Food was about normal for Mexico. I could always find something that I liked because they do have a lot of variety out. Beds were a little to firm for my liking but overall the room was average. Nice resort for the price!

This is a lovely, hidden gem in Cozumel. I wish I had known about it sooner. I stayed in the Saban suite, a spacious, tastefully furnished, very clean, charming palapa with a relaxing private balcony. If you’ve never slept in a palapa, you should try it. Don’t let the “separate bathroom” fool you. It is your private bathroom, and it’s charming, too. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were a lovely, well kept garden, and the pool was beautiful. I recommend this hotel 100%.

Large 3 bedroom, 1.5bathroom villa was perfect for our family vacation. Everyone had space. The full sized kitchen was handy for prepping food and full sized dinningroom was convenient to eat in comfort right in our villa. The pool was nice for an evening dip. Located in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and quiet. The balcony and front patio was a great area to enjoy and relax too. 5 min drive from downtown and Super Market.

Beautiful grounds. The room was huge and spotlessly clean. Shower was the only powerful shower we have had in Mexico! My son loved the fact they provided bowls so he could have cereal. The staff are lovely and happy to help. They really made the place feel like a home away from home. Lovely swimming pool was a bonus. Two great restaurants nearby. We loved Mr Taco's and Birchen steak.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked great, shower was hot, wifi worked great, and the beds were comfy. The location is close to many local taquerias and not far from the airport, ocean, Winjet/Ultramar, and good shopping. The hotel was inexpensive, yet had all the comforts of a big hotel. The scooter rental was handy and the pool was great to rest when hot. The hotel kept our suitcases until the afternoon when we flew out - and gathered a jacket and charger that I left in the room. Breakfast is a bonus. I will return!

Overall it is very good value for money. The room was big, the bed was very comfortable, there were soaps and towels available. The pool is very nice and in the afternoon the big tree helps with the shade. The staff was very friendly, they found my husbands lost weddingring. The breakfast is ok. They provide fruit, boxed juice, milk, different kind of cereal, simple bread to toast and some spreads like peanutbutter. It is like a buffet and afterwards you wash your own dishes. It is nice that you can use the kitchen.

We loved the pool, shared outdoors kitchen and the facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful, our room was cleaned every day and we always had fresh towels.

The swimming pool was nice and refreshing. The room was good with a comfortable bed. The shower was nice and hot, but we had some overflowing issues with the bathroom when we used the shower.

Very minimal hotel. No wash towels in room. No ice bucket available or any where to get ice. It was very clean and the team was friendly. Very minimal place. For being so new I was a little let down with the condition of the linens in the room. there were many stains on the sheets in the room. Bar area had very random hours and the pool seemed like a back a drop for girl to get in the pool and stand for hours taking selfies making other guests uncomfortable and the pool not enjoyable...

The view and location...the pool is amazing ..great music at the pool evenings..Carla was great at the pool as the bartenders were also..love this hotel!!

The rooms and service were great. They advertised food and drink, and pool, on the amenities list, that was only slightly accurate, the pool was very small, and the food and drink was a small bar by the pool that was only open until 1:00pm daily.

The view here is amazing and the pool itself is worth the price. Beware the pool bar and kitchen is temporarily closed- didn’t bother us but we did anticipate having a bar on site. The beds are comfy and the beach views are stunning

The steaks in the speciality Mexican restaurant were tasty. The room was a good size with lovely bathroom and well stocked minibar.

Excellent stay, from the immaculate grounds, food, rooms to the service and facilities. Loved it all. We played tennis most mornings and attended the gym once. Each buffet meal had tonnes of great options and the a la cartes were excellent with great service. The adult pool bartender Santos provided amazing pool service. The beach was clean and well maintained. Would return in a moment.

Resort very clean and beautiful. Staff at the restaurants were all very friendly and helpful. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The beach area is the only downside to this resort as it was reduced in size by a previous hurricane from what I have read. Pool by ocean is in need of work and appears to have support beams on outside wall where ocean is hitting pool wall

Friendly staff! Beautiful resort! Rooms are nice, good size and clean. Food was was good and drinks were excellent. We enjoyed the nightly shows and liked the pool right on the beach. The adult pool was very quiet and nice as well.

Excellent stay! Nadia did a wonderful job as wedding coordinator for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding on the beach. Beautiful! Wonderful reception! Staff accommodated our every request. And Millie and Jesus are the perfect activity providers! The kids had a great time playing on the beach and in the pool. Perfect balance of fun and quiet times. And excellent nonstop food options! I just got back from staying here the week of February 19th to the 26th and I read all of the reviews and was very hesitant and nervous about staying as it didn’t get a lot of great or even good reviews, but I kept an open mind and I am not a picky person but I still prepared myself that it may not be that great. All I can say is don’t read the reviews lol except this one and go there with an open mind and see for yourself. I did and I have to say that from the time we landed and got our shuttle service and arrived was nothing but amazing. The hotel had a jungle feel and at first we saw one big jungle pool with a bar and thought ok it’s pretty shaded and was cold but it still was beautiful, then we ate at buffet which I could always find something at and every night was a theme of kind of what they had for food, then the next day we realized there was a whole other area u see the road which I was so skeptical of as the pics show it like the hotel is so far away but it was not and the under bridge tunnel was pretty cool and it led you to the beach area cove which was beautiful and that’s where you can snorkel, then there was an adult infinity pool with a bar in the pool and also on the other side is like the family side where there is another pool with swim up bar and two areas that look like hot tubs that are literally in the ocean out on a balcony that are a pool not hot but was awesome for our group like we had

We absolutely love the staff, they're the best part of the resort! The main pool was in need of some love, so much debris in the pool and it looked like it hadn't been properly skimmed/vacuumed in days. The adult pool was nice but the liquor available at times was definitely lacking. Food has always been okay, but this time it was worse. We'll still be back, but we hope that there will be some improvements made.

Everything! we were a group of 4 adults and 6 kids. We had a great relaxing time. There’s no need to leave the resort. They have two pools with swim up bars. You can snorkel right there at their beach access. The water is clear. We saw sting ray, eel, and tons of fish. My youngest (6) loved that he could swim up to the pool bar he could order a drink all by himself. The staff are great, very helpful. The whole place is very clean.

Overall was ok, but I felt the price was overrated. You can find similar places 20-30% less that they charge. Wifi is stable everywhere. Pool bars work only until 6 pm while pool work until 8 pm, they could align it. Food is fine, nothing exceptional. I honestly cannot say anything so exceptional about this resort. Yes its all inclusive, yes they have beach. Did it became something to be so appreciative today for really decent price they charge??????

There were lots of sun beds that we could even change multiple times during the day. The pools were really clean and we loved the pool bars.

This was a wonderful vacation. It’s very quiet but close enough to the fiesta Americana (2 minute walk) if you want more lively. The pool does need attention and there is only 1 restaurant at the Explorean. I think they want you to utilize the other resort… pool and restaurants. The bonus is they include excursions everyday which are wonderful! Oh my, I forgot to talk about the service which is exceptional!

The VIP access had 2 rooms, 2 baths and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The view was excellent! Well worth the upgrade. The pools (all pools) should be fixed, tiles falling off, and large sections with holes making the facility appear run down.

The Explorean had a pool and dining area to itself as well as access to all the restaurants and pool at the Fiesta Americana Hotel in front on the Explorean. The cabana style quad rooms were very nice and secluded in a jungle environment.

Our stay was amazing! Tucked away in the rainforest, it was quiet and so peaceful. Our room was super clean and tidy. Everyday the came and made the bed, new towels and tidied up. Each morning they dropped off banana bread, orange juice and coffee. There was one pool, and one restaurant w an associated bar. Everything else was in the neighboring hotel. There were quite a few restaurant options, but honestly not a ton of vegetarian options. Other than that however, our stay was phenomenal and I would absolutely stay again!

The Villablanca is a friendly hotel, staff helpful, owner on site as well. the pool is maintained, clean area, comfortable seating, as well as coffee and tables for guests to have their own meals.

Villablanca is a great place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet! The room was cleaned every day while we were gone,clean towels and fresh linens when we wanted them. They include free bottled water-you have to go to the office to get it. The pool was nice and clean. My only complaints are the wifi is not very stable and it takes a couple of minutes to get hot water.

This is a nice outdoorsy property. Very clean. It's for people who know Cozumel and don't want to spend a fortune on accommodation but just want a nice clean, quiet comfortable place to stay with a nice pool and walking distance to activities and food. Half-sized fridges or larger in each room with modern TV.

Property grounds were beautiful. Our room, although clean, needed serious updating and maintenance. Our room was way in the back of the resort, those by the pool upfront looked more modern and updated. The staff couldn’t be nicer and more helpful. When reported about different items that needed fixed, they were prompt to respond. The food in the little restaurant was good and affordable. In all, it was affordable and convenient.

If you're looking for a secluded, quiet vacation...this is the place. The rooms were clean and maintained daily. The onsite meal service offered variety and quality. The pool was clean and well maintained. The beach area adjacent to the hotel was very nice. If there was one thing I would offer as a suggestion would be loungers and umbrellas on the beach. If there was anything you needed, it was happily provided. Great stay!

This is a spectacular place. The views are just beautiful. Our room was spacious and beautiful. The beach could use some cleanup. The decking by the pool needs some repair. Great stay!

This is definitely a “get away from it all” place. It’s also a lot like stepping back in time, because the area is very undeveloped and isolated. Air conditioning is only available at night, but there is a lot of wind and ocean and pool water to cool you off during the day. The sound of the waves crashing is constant, if you like that sort of din… I liked it. The panoramas are incredible no matter which direction you look.

ABSOLUTELY love this place!!! If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet, away from everyone place to stay this is your place. All you hear every evening is the sound of the waves, the staff is very friendly & will assist with any requests you have, food is wonderful, rooms are cleaned daily, can walk to the restaurant/bar next door if you choose, have a stretch of beach all to yourself, pool, many chairs arranged around the property you can move, they give you beach towels, bring drinks & food to you on the beach or by the pool. The entire staff is amazing. We will be back every year. (No TV's in the room but you do get WiFi.) A great place to completely unwind and relax!! LOVED IT!!!

I have been staying here for years. you get the best bang for your buck. the rooms are spacious. the shower is huge. the staff is amazing. the waiters are wonderful, especially , Paulino, Carlos, Santiago, Manuel, and the restaurant manager Gabriel. the front desk were friendly everytime you walked by them . the food is great and I was happy to find out that they changed the menus every two days. the pool is stunning and the views were impeccable. I have stayed no where else on the island and will stay no where else. I stayed for 6 night and I felt the love from the staff every day!!!

Cozumeleno is a beautiful resort that is very well maintained. The grounds are beautiful which consist of several pools and a very nice beach. it is approximately 12 minutes from the airport and approximately 12 minutes to the square, which is an area in town that has shops and restaurants. Honestly, I stay At Cozumeleno because of the staff. They are not only professional and kind, they also make you feel at home. I feel very safe and comfortable.

The staff is great their customer Service is 10 out of 10. It was very clean, the pools and beach area super clean. We really enjoyed the beach free from sargazo. It was a perfect place to relax, I would stay here again.

Good value for the money. Food was good. Great omelette and pastries, breakfast had everything including cappuccino and mimosas . Fresh made lunch today was very good. Yes the rooms need updating and could use some new towels but well worth the money getting ocean view room with nice size balcony and chairs. The lobby is very nice service is good and the beach area is wonderful. The pools were nice and even have a protected indoor area to swim. I will definitely come back.

Very reasonable prices, clean, safe, nice breakfast, friendly staff, super location, wifi, room safe, AC, ceiling fan, common area fridge, courtyard, I’ll be back for sure. Short walk from the ferry terminal, right on Sam Miguel. Great restaurants all around you. Maid service is excellent.

The hotel is cute & quaint with typical Mexican decor, located on a promenade so it is not on a street that allows cars. I don't think they even have a parking lot. Centrally located, walkable to pretty much everything - restaurants, grocery stores, shops & if you do need to go further, you can catch a taxi on the main road, a 2min walk away. Ferry dock is 5min walk away. There is a large park / open space about a block away as well. The clock tower in that park is loud & you will hear in your room! About the hotel itself, it is a basic, bare bones hotel- no frills, but it has what you need for a comfortable stay. Staff is friendly & are mostly bilingual. There is a communal kitchen onsite. Kitchen supplies are a bit scarce, but there is some there to use. No one touched my food that I stored in the fridge while I was there. The beds are firm. Not much water pressure in the shower. There is a safe in the room for valuables & the TV plays a mix of Spanish & English channels. AC works great & the ceiling fan really circulates air well too! The windows to the room are thin, unfortunately. You will hear people & their conversations clearly & loudly if they are in the hallways and courtyard. It's an open air hotel, so if it rains, the hallways do get damp. There is no elevator (that I saw). The inner courtyard is nice & the cutest thing is that they have turtles that roam around freely in there all day & night. Very fun! All in all, great room rates; I would stay there again.

Enjoyed my stay at Mary Carmen. Great value for the price point on Cozumel comparatively. Rooms are clean. Linens are nice. Beds are meh. Bathrooms are acceptable, could use more cleaning in the shower but that's pretty normal at this price point honestly. Turtles are fun. Surprised how quiet it was at night. Courtyard is nice. WiFI works. Staff is friendly and helpful. Stayed almost a week.

For the price point and location, I had to give a 5 rating We stayed at the Hotel Mary Carmen on Cozumel for our last night of a 6-day birding trip with Ecocolors. We arrived in Cozumel via the ferry and it was a short walk…less than 10 minutes, to get to the hotel. The hotel is tucked in among the local shops and we missed it both when we arrived and when we came back after dinner. Check in was quick and the staff very friendly. The hotel is a courtyard designed with a shared space in the middle…including a kitchen area. Very nice and peaceful. Our room was small and basic, but was clean and had everything we needed. AC worked great, had hot water, and the bed was comfortable. Two small things – our safe was locked when we got there…did not bother resolving and you had to work hard to get the drapes to block out the very bright courtyard lights. We did not have any meals here because there were so many places close by. It is right in the main shopping area. I would stay here again if I was in Cozumel for a few days.

I’m a picky eater but I found some things to get me through the week. The waiter, Miguel, in the Mexican restaurant was amazing and went out of his way to make fresh pico for my mom. The beach was nice and our room was 50’ from the beach and the bar and the pool. It was perfect for our group for a budget friendly price. Would stay here again!

The resort was extremely safe, family friendly activities, good dining options with an amazing breakfast buffet. Bottled water is brought daily…however I do recommend bringing your own sunscreen as the gift shop is very pricey. I ran out and had to purchase more in the gift shop and it was approx $43USD. My kids had a wonderful time, pool was great along with ATV rides and snorkeling. Coffee shop has the best coffee.

We liked the overall layout of the property and loved that our room was close to the beach. It's great to have palapas, chairs, towels, snorkel equipment, etc. available too. We really enjoyed the beach, pool, and bar. The bartenders were great and would make anything you wanted. The food was kind of hit and miss. We were glad to have the Secret's buffet next door available to us. As for entertainment provided, we really weren't interested in it so can't comment on that. Overall, we had a great stay.

This was my second time coming to a his resort! Loved the closeness of everything, beach, pool dining, bar! Staff is amazing super friendly and very kind. They got to know each of us. I highly recommend the spa! Hydro therapy and full massage was out of this world! Was bummed by the food options, but you get what you paid for. The staff went out of their way to help accommodate to your desires!

The resort isn’t close to anything so it’s great if you’re just looking to relax by the beach. However, if you want to do any shopping or sightseeing, it’s a 20-minute taxi ride away.

A lovely hotel, on a quiet street 10-15 mins walk to the main square and ferry port so very convenient but far enough away that you have some peace, also close to a large supermarket. The staff were friendly and the room clean, comfortable with lovely furniture and a great bathroom. The Wi-Fi was decent. I only stayed one night so didn’t get to enjoy the pool area but it certainly looked lovely! Recommended

The staff was amazing and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. However the dinner options were limited for all inclusive we ended up eating dinner else where every night. The two Lobster houses across the street from hotel are amazing best meals we had. The pool and the beach area are great.

Nice hotel, with its own private cove and beach with good snorkeling just off the beach. Nice pool too and the fine dining restaurant seemed good, though we only ate there once. The free breakfast option is a pretty good choice, with the restaurant for that right on the water. Nice rooms that all face the ocean. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoy the beach area and snorkeling . Beautiful sea life . The pool on the roof for adults was amazing refreshing and very clean and quiet . Will be back 2 nd time staying here . Friendly staff also .

We completely enjoyed our stay at the Westin Cozumel! The room was very comfortable and the view of the water from our 9th floor balcony was fabulous! The grounds and beach were lovely. We enjoyed both pools and there were plenty of lawnchairs. The service around the hotel was fantastic, everyone was happy helpful and accomodating! Shout out to Randy and Maria - such great staff! We plan to return soon.

Such a warm welcome and goodbye, staff are just amazing. I felt comfortable from the start. Also the apartment was great, very clean, comfy and spacious for a good price. It's a 15min walk from the main plaza which wasn't too bad and you pass by a really cool local cantina (I recommend it).

Everything was exceptional. From the check in where the owners were really welcoming and helpfull about everything and really nice in general, to the room what was much more then expected (big, clean, kitchen was great, great location, very good value for money), to the support and gift I got before Ironman competition from the owner. Also, WiFi was great. Reccomend :)

The pool area, onsite entertainment, and the restaurants that required reservations were good. The daily poolside lunch was also good and convenient. The property itself is not very big and there’s no beach but across the street (also part of the hotel) is great area for snorkeling.

The Staff at Fiesta Americana are unmatched! They are very friendly, helpful, and keep you entertained all day and night. A huge thank you to Arcadia, Alejandra, Anina, Josh & Victor plus many many more! Fiesta kids is also great to keep the kiddos entertained. We celebrated 3 birthdays on our trip and the staff truly made our stay amazing. My one complaint is that the pool is very unsafe. There are many missing tiles that caused my family and several other vacationers to get cut and require medical assistance so I would suggest water shoes in the pool until that has been resolved.

Every staff member was extremely nice and very helpful. The food was really good. Especially the quesadillas you can order at the buffet. Check in and out was really easy. The spa was so relaxing. The pool is pretty spacious and is always clean. The waiters were always extremely fast with refilling your drink or taking away empty plates. Housekeeping always made our room look spotless. Overall we were very pleased and we had a great time.

I like the small property and the ability to snorkel in amazing waters right out front. I love the service around the chairs and cabanas in front of the ocean. Alberto was very attentive and amazing! I was offered a snorkle tour right down the road for the fact that the pool was under construction and I thought this was a nice offer. The room was very clean and standard. The lampshade between double beds needs to be removed because it's got mold on it. Room service was good food and quick. The seafood restaurant by the water is great! Loved the ceviche and fish tacos! I will be back!

This traditional Mexican hotel is located in a great downtown location. The Malecon and ocean are right across the street. The view from the balcony is excellent. It’s also within walking distance to the ferry terminal, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They deliver complimentary coffee and pasties to your room every morning, so that’s an added bonus. The negative aspect of this location, is the all day street and traffic noise. Also, the swimming pool and pool areas aren’t very inviting.

Only stayed two days but were very impressed. Location is great, room was oceanfront and had a great view. The room itself was clean, large and comfortable, the pool is well cared for and a bar will even give a discount for guests and you can take your beverages up to the pool. The breakfast of coffee, juice and pastries is delivered as requested. But the best feature is the people who work so hard to help you enjoy your stay. Bottom line.....would recommend.

We absolutely loved this little hotel, nothing fancy but very clean, comfortable beds. Great AC. Hot water takes a few minutes to kick in but this does not deter me in any way. The morning coffee service is adorable. The view from the balcony is priceless. Nice clean little pool a d sundeck. Location is excellent you can walk everywhere in town. Wonderful change from big AI resort vacationing. Highly recommend this little place.

This is a generally quiet part of town. It's near just about everything but just off the beaten path. I would give this 5 stars but on Friday and Saturday loud music kept us awake until 2 am. The music does not come from the hotel properly but it's very annoying. Breakfast and a pool is included but it's a few blocks away. We didn't mind the walk it was not really a problem

It was very close to the ferry. The main areas were walking distance. I rented a two wheeler and drove around so it wasn’t inconvenient for me. The elderly lady who manages this hotel is very kind. Very comfortable room and a cute hotel. Nice people. Just be sure that you carry cash to pay coz they don’t accept credit cards.

Great location and friendly staff. Our room was clean and spacious with a view of the ocean. Couldn't quite see the sunsets from our balcony because of trees, but great sunsets from the pool deck and private beach across the street. Yes the building is getting on, but so am I. Plenty of parking for our scooter, and close to most of the beach clubs.

This area of Cozumel is safe and clean, and everyone is happy. The hotel is a nice mixture of modern and historical. For example, the counter at the front desk is topped with a beautiful and massive tree surface. The grounds were immaculate, and the pool was clean, with the swim-up bar being great. The restaurant was great...low prices and reasonable size portions.

The entire staff was wonderful, from check in to check out, every person was great. The room was spacious and comfortable. Having the restaurant on site was convenient and the food was good. The pool was nice as well as happy hour each evening. Ocean access across the bridge, we did some snorkeling. We will definitely be back.

Casa del Mar is a charming resort that although not big and commercialized still includes all you would need to have an absolutely amazing time. You have ocean access with beach chairs, a pool, tennis court, and a wonderful restaurant with bar an incredible service. The rooms are beautiful and its is absolutely the cleanest resort I have ever stayed at. I hope to get to go back soon.

Great stay, few people. Huge pool. Found it hard to get food on-site except for breakfast. I do not recommend the pizza. Breakfast is extremely good. The coffee could be better. I did not try the 4-course restaurant option but that is available in lieu of room service Snack menu at the pool was sometimes available.

The rooms are not fancy but all I care about is a good bed and a good shower. They had both. The pool area is lovely. Although I took a snorkeling boat tour, the best snorkeling was right across the street in the shallow pool.

We love coming here since 1996. WE NEED WIFI IN THE ROOMS!!! Pool staff is excellent. Food delicious!!! We love it here. Best pool in the island. Entertainment during the day is appreciated- we love the 4pm volleyball games.. please work on WiFi issues.

Luisa did an amazing job at pool side keeping us supplied with drinks. Estela was at the snack bar and was also wonderful! Please consider visiting them poolside

This place was great Roger was awesome with the activities I would stay again the resort was clean and the people were friendly the pool the bar and beach are easy to access the activities we fun and engaging I had a great ocean view and the drinks were strong and flowing

They have excellent amenities. Check in was easy. Pool area is great. They have a snorkel area which is above and beyond. My son and hubby snorkeled on their own and saw baracudas/ sting rays/ lots if fishes. Life guard on site is friendly and informative. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a great stay. The on- site restaurant has a great menu. Their fish dish was super yummy!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and Roger Lopez especially took very good care of us when we needed someone to coordinate a few customized experiences. We were celebrating our anniversary and arrived to a chilled bottle of champagne and chocolate, covered strawberries. The bar and restaurant were great, and we made daily use of the snorkeling in front of the hotel, as well as the pool and hot tub. The view from our room was top right and we loved watching sunsets.

Good and beverages with really good quality and variety; service on waiters/waitress, lobby team and house keep really close and kind. Ammenities in hotel include snorkeling area, spa, all inclusive meals with seafood variety, beach club and small pool and jacuzzi.

Great staff. Everyone we interacted with was extremely nice. Great location a few blocks away from tourist area, but easily walkable to ferry, cruise ship dock, and many restaurants. Good breakfast prepared and served poolside by we had a good poolside breakfast made by Miriam. She is very very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay at La Casona Real next time we're in Cozumel.

We had an excellent stay. The hotel staff was very friendly. The rooms were scrupulously clean. There was a continental breakfast served poolside---coffee, sweet rolls and fruit. The AC worked well----. If you are on a budget and are fine with less than luxurious accommodations, this hotel will serve you well. Quietest rooms are upstairs interior--facing the pool. Street noise can be loud at times.

This hotel was a great find. The room was clean, spacious, updated and the price was great. The breakfast area by the pool was a wonderful way to start the day. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Only a few blocks away from the ferry with a grocery store right around the corner.

Medium class hotel approx 500 meters from the ferries. We came early but still got our room which was spacious enough with two good beds, air condition and a very good shower. In the morning we were served a simple breakfast with fresh fruit, coffee marmelade and crackers. Quite OK to take you the first hour of the morning. If you are not planning to lie around in your hotel all visit but just come for sleeping and washing up I would not choose any other hotel. It also has a small pool in inner garden though so it is possible to stay all day and just lie and relax also.

I would suggest that they take the eyesore of the pool kids plastic playground out of the center of the pool and if you want seating around the pool or the beach, you have to get up by 6:30 AM and mark your spot.

The location of all the rooms and restaurants have great views of the ocean. The buildings are not in great repair and show signs of age. Buffet food is not great. The restaurant Olio was good and the Secrets food was nice. The pool at Dreams is in great shape and clean. The sister resorts pools are aged and dirty. Beach was nice but rocky. Entertainment team was great.

We really love this resort, it was so good in 2024 that we decided to come back in 2025. This year as a Hyatt Globalist we got a complimentary upgrade to a swim out pool room. Samuel in the front desk was great with this upgrade, having the swim out pool was amazing for our kids. The food was good, but i remember it was better in 2024. The staff is great and always helpful. We are planning to come back again.

Staffs are supper friendly. Hotel is clean. Love the beach. Enjoyed swimming pool, peaceful and quite. I loved the music they played. It was up-to-date lounge music. Kids activities are well organized. They do small events and it’s enjoyable.

The property is good, if you're looking for a awesome pool I would say this isn't the hotel for you, but if you're looking for a great beach with a view this is the hotel for you. We were able to get a beach chair and umbrella at 1030am with others still available. Dreams had great food as well as secrets. This is a kid friendly hotel but it was still quite and enjoyable!

The Hotel Barracuda is a basic hotel. Room had two beds, a private bathroom, a small refrigerator, and beautiful view with a useable balcony. There is no elevator. The location cannot be beat. Close to downtown and ocean view from the rooms and pool area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If I could add one thing it would have been a coffee pot in the room but Starbucks is a short walk and The Mega is right across the street. I would stay in this hotel again. It is a run down hotel but perfect if you want to be near the place with all the restaurants and shops. It us nicely located right in front of a mega grocery store/department store where you can fund anything you need. It has its private access to the beach for snorkeling and diving companies can pick you up right at the hotel’s pier. The pool looks nice and it has a bar with discount for hotel guests

Stayed for a scuba diving trip and it was as if we were staying with family! Everyone was SO friendly and helpful! The location is convenient to everything you need or want to do and the dive boat picked us up right there. There is a dive shop on site as well as bar, food, and parasailing. You can enjoy the pool or swim from the shore and also shore dive. There is a market across the street and taxis available all the time. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. We will be staying there again!

Hotel Barracuda is a great hotel for scuba divers. The onsite dive operator, ScubaJuan, is the best dive operator I've used in Cozumel. Dive boats pick you up at the Barracuda pier. There is a walled inlet to the sea that makes entrance easy. A wrecked dolphin pen nearby provides an excellent artificial reef especially for night diving. There is also an onsite swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. The Barracuda is on the south side of town and is easy walking distance for exploring, shopping, and eating. My whole 10 person family stayed here in June and absolutely loved it.

A lot of reviews comment on this place being worn down but that is being quite picky. It’s a beautiful hotel! With a gorgeous beach, crystal clear water and fish in abundance! Plenty of chairs, great pools, beautiful rooms with amazing views. The food is tasty. And some reviews believe there isn’t enough variety, but they have a menu in addition to the buffet where you can order basically anything- chips and guac, French fries, ice cream, other Mexican dishes, etc. I felt like we had to track the staff down some and the elevator broke on our last day but other than that, we loved our stay!

Was exactly as described by other reviews! GREAT service and staff. Clean, open, small enough to be minutes walk to everything you need. Fun, on resort, activities with a separate pool for those who like a little less activity around them. Beach was clean and accessible. The rooms are dated but Very clean, and it appears there are improvements coming. I got a little “tired” of the menu in the last couple of days, but downtown Cozumel is 7 minutes away…. Lots to see and do. Looking forward to next year

Although the hotel was a bit old, the service and the food was really great! In the lobby there are many seats and in the front, you can call for a taxi that is not expensive. The pools are clean and many amenities. There are two restaurants and both of them were delicious! The staffs were very attentive too.

Hotel’s pool and hammocks are amazing, staff is pretty friendly most of them speak both Spanish and English. The food is good, drinks are better. Room was nice with a great view of the beach, bed and pillows were a bit too hard in my opinion but overall stay is 8/10 ⭐️

We had an amazing stay at Secrets Aura Cozumel. The property was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. We especially loved breakfast at Bordeaux with Rony and Ricardo each morning, as well as lunches at the beach/pool with Miguel. The hydrotherapy at the spa was also wonderful. Overall, we had an incredible stay and we can’t wait to visit again very soon.

Liked the pools. Bar service was great at every bar. Rooms very clean. It would be nice to include Dreams dining. Need pizza in Secrets.

Hotel location is amazing, food is great also. Massive lack of information provided upon check in with regards to bars and restaurants, the app is out of date and opening times of places doesn’t match reality. Room as lovely but bathrooms are dated. Pools need touching up, just the small details let this place down.

We really liked the staff and how friendly they were! Our housekeeping staff was amazing. The food was good. We could have been instructed better on how to use the adjoining resorts. The pools could have used more water in them to maintain the cleanliness. For it being a Secrets Resort we did feel that the evening entertainment fell short compared to other Secrets Resorts we have stayed at. Overall loved the area, excursions and Cozumel 😁

The location of this hotel is EXCELLENT. It is right on the water, with steps down to the ocean (snorkeling is pretty good). MEGA store and 24 hour taxi stand is across the street. It is a short walk to downtown. Between hotel and ocean is No Name Bar. Hotel guests get 50% discount there if they pay cash for meals and drinks. No Name has many tables, lounge chairs, and a swim up bar in the pool. All rooms have a balcony facing the ocean. Everyone is helpful and friendly.

Great pool and amazing view! Location is right in the midst of town. Walkable to restaurants and stores. Great AC. I’ve stayed here a couple of times and will stay again. It’s not luxurious or updated but has everything you’ll need for a great time. On site restaurant offers 50% discount on food and drinks for guests.

Very nice colored relaxing place with outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Very friendly and helpful owners, always ready to help and inform. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Kitchen and fridge available for guests, next to the pool. Next to an “always” open supermarket. About 2km from the town center (and certainly quieter so), where ferries to Playa del Carmen are also located. Taxis to the center are cheap (50 pesos, ie less than 3 US$). Good wifi. Cozumel seems to be a quiet and globally safe place.

If you want to get away from the main downtown area and don't care about being at the beach, this is the place to go. Small quant Boutique that afforded everything we wanted. Perfect room size, quiet area and complimentary breakfast that was made to order by three lovely ladies. Excellent pool area that allowed anyone to cook their own meals next to a well kept pool/hottub. We rented a scooter for the entire time (the owner helped with the delivery and pickup) so that we could come and go as needed.

Patricia and César were lovely hosts and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi were great. The pool was big enough to get some exercise. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

We were very excited about this stay, and we liked it so much that we stayed longer! The building is a gorgeous old home and the pool area is excellent - great pool, jacuzzi and a good spot to have breakfast. The rooms were massive, with a big bathroom (huge bath!) and seating/wardrobe area. The breakfast was delicious and there is a massive supermarket across the road, and a kitchen available. The cat Maria is very cute.

It has a very romantic and charming atmosphere, every room is beautiful and special, it is nice and quiet, very clean, wifi is good, staff is very friendly, breakfast is good, pool area is very nice and with a jacuzzi, and there is a cute cat called Maria in the garden.

I recently had the pleasure of staying here , and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to the staff , who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Gaetan ( the Swiss-French guy) went above and beyond to help me and give me suggestions on everything 🙏 The room was immaculate, spacious, and clean . The amenities were top-notch, and every detail was carefully thought out to enhance my stay. The room was full of lights and each occupants had his own privacy. What truly set this hostel was the exceptional service. Every staff member was incredibly helpful and attentive, addressing all my needs with a smile. Overall, my stay was outstanding and the customer service made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to Gaetan for making my stay so memorable.

It's very clean! The staff all the time is giving you information about the things to do in the island. Hostel auikyani is so close from the ferry, it's In the center, it's perfect if you want to go the beach, restaurants, get a tour and everything. The beds are comfortable and the owners have great energy to help you whatever you want

We were so happy at Casa del Solar. Can 100% recommend and would always come back. We stayed at the newer part oft he hotel at the higher flor, which was perfect: - Optimal location at the center. The owner Theresa is so kind and helpful! - Everything clean and absolutely spotless - Room spacious, bright, friendly, with balcony. Simply good vibes - Good common areas, including filtered water, fridge, coffee/tea, games, drinks/snacks for purchase (at fair rates) etc. - Nice courtyard to relax and meet other guests - VERY SPECIAL: We forgot an item and found out only after our departure. Theresa went out of her way to help us get the item back. So special - THANKS!

Teresa is super helpful, and organised a snorkeling trip for me. She was also able to let us know when the harbour was open, as it had been closed due to wind. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a kitchenette including large fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker and cutlery, bowls plates etc to make simple breakfast items in our room, and kettle in the main kitchen for teas coffees. Free drinking water available. The garden is large and peaceful, with plenty of seating. The location is great, close to ferry port and in Centro for bars/restaurants. There are also bicycles you can borrow.

The host was absolutely incredible! She took the time to explain attractions of the island, gave local recommendations of places to eat and have drinks, the best beach clubs and even recommended a place to hire scooters. We stayed in a more basic room (from what I could see) but the accomodation was more than comfortable- the bed was great, fan helped us to cool down and the shower was always hot. We made use of the shared kitchen which was always clean, and one could even buy snacks and drinks from the "honesty bar" section. The outdoor/patio furniture was a lovely place to spend the afternoon. The location of the accomodation was perfect, about 400m walk from ferry stop and so close to downtown with restaurants literally across the street. P.S. the snorkel tour which was recommended (with Carla) was amazing! We saw rays, turtles, star fish, a variety of fish and lots of corals.

Incredible location close to passenger ferry port but away from main cruise ship hub. 1 road off the main drag with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Secure property and very quiet. Beautiful backyard garden with seating area. Theresa is a wonderful helpful host with the best little dog Booking that greets you!! I love that she has maps available, free water, book exchange. There’s a little shared kitchen with coffee tea fridge sink toaster microwave kettle and you could buy beers or sodas if you like on an honour system. Room is clean comfortable and spacious. We booked a family studio which had a king bed and full size fridge, coffee machine and microwave. Next time we’d likely just get a room and use the shared kitchen as we didn’t cook much.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an incredible stay at Casa del Solar Central Cozumel! The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, providing everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The location couldn’t be better – it’s just steps from the ferry, making it easy to explore the island. Plus, you’re surrounded by fantastic restaurants and lively bars, ensuring there's always something to do nearby. What truly stood out was the friendly staff, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Casa del Solar Central to anyone looking for a perfect base to experience Cozumel!

Excellent place to stay if you like nature and enjoy the little things in life. The owner is great and very accommodating. We stood in el encanto for one night as we were passing by Cozumel. We had the swimming pool for ourselves, had some drinks and played music by the pool. My Daughter and Son loved the dogs that live in el encanto. We rented a Jeep to drive around the island and we were able to park it inside without problem. I would definitely come back. My kids enjoyed the low key feeling.. it felt like home

The property is beautiful and lush with lots of plants and birdsong. I loved opening the doors to my covered balcony each morning and awakening to nature’s beauty. the beds were comfortable, the room spacious and very clean. and the shower in the washroom had a lot of natural light. The bamboo lounge chairs by the pool were exceptionally comfortable. It was in a great location close to groceries and a short walk into town along the water. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and hospitable.

When we were moved to a different room, we were quite content with the space. The beds were comfortable. The staff moved all of our stuff for us, which was appreciated. The kitchenette was adequate for making our breakfast each morning. The resident dogs were adorable and mostly well-trained to not come into the unit when the door was opened. The small pool area was quiet and had comfy seating. The grounds were lush and beautiful. We appreciated the security of the locked gates. Great little restaurant on the corner with a plentiful breakfast for $9.

Our family of 5 (3 young adult kids) stayed in one of the villas and loved it. It was comfortable and spacious and we enjoyed the hammock and outdoor space. The staff were very friendly, attentive and always available. The grounds were absolutely beautiful - very tropical, peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool and the common area.
