Amazing place to stay, with sauna/pool possibilities next door - mind that you need to walk towards the other building. The mountain view from the open pool - is incredible. Some parts were still in renovation process, but it did not prevent the enjoyment. The hotel has a restaurant with very nice and affordable food.

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Very family friendly. Lots to do with kids. Great ski are and fantastic indoor swimming pool (just across the road), which kids loved.

Beautiful location, lovely views of the mountains. Excellent facilities - sauna, steam room, access to a local swimming pool, a good restaurant, close to the main road.

Room is so spacious and the pool with the beautiful view of the mountain is exceptional. We will definitely go back.

The hotel has a fantastic Swimming Pool which is half indoor and half outdoor. Sauna and wellness area are fantastic. Family with kids will find a great indoor playground and a very friendly and supportive staff. Your pet will feel like at home. Our room was fantastic overlooking the mountain, a master bedroom with a double bed and a second bed room with a double bed and 2 additional bunk beds.

Very nice hotel, near to the main road. Wonderful facilities especially the pool (when the construction will be over) and spa. The food in the restaurant is exceptional.

The host Martin and his staff was very friendly and accomodating. Martin picked us up from the train station and sent us back as we could not get a car from Munich. His family hotel especially the hot pool and sauna was very relaxing and modern. The rooms were also very clean and spacious. Would def recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ehrwald for the first time. Hope to come back sometime soon again with my extended family. Congrats on the 100th year anniversary of Spielmann Hotel as well 👍

Nice welcome on arrival, Room was excellent, clean, spacious, well decorated in the Tirolean style with great views and comfortable bed and pillows - both nice quality. The spa facilities were outstanding. Pool temperature was perfect. The view from the huge jacuzzi with bubble beds was out of this world. 4 different saunas to choose from. Beautiful comfy beds to lounge around, in front of a roaring fire, or quiet corners to sit/lay and read or take a nap. Nice bar and restaurant area. Proximity to ski areas or hikes.. fantastic!

Everything turned out great after a shaky start at Check in, and A charge of €10 from the train station to the property which is all of about two minutes so be careful about that I’m sure I could’ve call the hotel and got transportation but I didn’t my mistake ,room was large and views amazing from room, spa and 3 pools crazy good, especially the salt water Jacuzzi really good for your skin be careful there’s a naked area if you with your daughter you have to be careful because a lot of fat people with their butts showing the breakfast buffet one of the best I’ve ever had in Europe the service amazing,if you’re lucky enough to get a table outside the views are crazy beautiful be careful with the dinner it’s a seven course dinner and takes about seven hours one hour for each course ( just kidding but it was a long long dinner)try to pass on that meal if you’re an American we’re just too impatient The dinner buffet was very very good!

We upgraded, and it was a lovely room, although the view of the mountain was obscured by other buildings. Large and clean room, everything worked well, and the shower was powerful. On a negative note, the breakfast service was a bit sloppy, the afternoon snack was just ok, the pool was freezing, the sauna area was confusing, and wifi dropped out quite a bit.

What an amazing experience. The Hotel Zugspitze was perfect. It's in a great location and has a wonderful staff. We loved the indoor pool and hot tub. We didn't get to enjoy the sauna or any spa experiences as our stay was brief. Breakfast was phenomenal! We also had dinner and it was delicious. Our family room had a loft with skylights and was very cute. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Where to begin... I stayed at the Parkhotel again while driving to and from Southern Italy, after I had discovered this hotel whilst doing the same last year. I would drive down to Italy on every possible occasion, just to have a break at this place. Friendly and very hospitable staff. Wonderful, relaxing garden next to the hotel bar. Very well-equipped spa/wellness and swimming pool. Comfortable room / bathroom to get a quiet night's rest. 5 minutes walking distance to Seefeld city center. Generous breakfast buffet and dinner. One of my most favourite hotels by far !

Just perfect. What a wonderful place. Stopped here for a night's rest on my way to Italy. Very friendly people, 5 minutes walking distance to the village. Cozy and spacious room. Fantastic / pool and wellness area. Evening and breakfast buffet have an excellent selection. Local specialities. What a discovery this has been ! Was able to continue my long journey after fully recharging here.

THIS PARK HOTEL IS SO WELL SITUATED JUST A STONE’S THROW FROM THE CENTRE OF SEEFELD. IT HAS A LOVELY GARDEN WITH BEAUTIFUL TREES, POND WITH FOUNTAIN AND SINGING BIRDS. THE TERRACE IS VERY INVITING AS IS THE POOL AND SPA. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE EXCELLENT SERVICE AND THE BEAUTIFUL DINING ROOM, FOOD PERSONNEL AND THE COSY BAR AND SEATING AREA INSIDE AND OUT. THE BEDS ARE VERY GOOD AND SO ARE THE BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS ALL FULLY RENOVATED. WE WOULD NOT HESITATE TO GO TO THIS HOTEL PARK AGAIN IN THE INTIMATELY FAMILY RUN HOTEL. IT’S ALL THUMBS UP.

The service is outstanding, all the team are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel faculties are excellent including the pool and wellness area along with a cosy bar and lounge with an open fire - perfect for winter evenings. Hotel is located slightly far from the city center, but it's not really a problem given it's only 15 minutes walk to another side of the city. I was staying in the appartment which includes a small kitchen. The kitchen has only enough utenciles to make a breakfast, don't expect to cook a full dinner there. Sauna and swining pool are well maintined, but they a slightly crowed early on.

Good 4 star hotel in the outskirts of Seefeld. The distance from city center is not very long, only about 10 minutes, but the road is very busy and not very comfortable to walk. Nice space with sauna and swimming pool.

Victoria was delightful and tried to help in every way. Would have loved a swim in the pool, but had just had a hail storm in an open car & needed to clear it. Underground car park was an added bonus!

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Hotel Seefeld as a family with our two daughters. From the moment we arrived, Victoria, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was incredibly attentive, taking care of specific food preferences and allergies at breakfast, offering fantastic restaurant recommendations, and even preparing a natural cream for one of our daughters when her face was badly burned on the ski slopes. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine care truly made our stay special. The hotel itself is modern and beautifully designed, with excellent facilities. The pool area is fantastic, the location is ideal—a short and pleasant walk to the city centre—and the indoor parking is a great convenience. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we can’t wait to return next year to see Victoria and her lovely family again!

The breakfast is amazingly good (please don't miss their self-made marmelade, cake and yoghurt), and we also had the opportunity to meet another member of the staff who also was super friendly and kind. The place has a beautiful decoration and the room is spatious, clean, the place is very quiet, and the bed comfortable.

The hotel has very responsible and caring staff. Upon registration, we were treated to a delicious salad and a Bavarian sandwich. The breakfast is very tasty in the form of a buffet. The room has a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. The bathroom has soap and shampoo, towels. The hotel has a very good location and is close to the lifts to the highest point in Germany. I liked everything very much.

It is a very beautiful place. We received a warm welcome from the host, with complimentary snacks. Very clean, big room, comfortable beds, chairs on the balcony where you can enjoy a gorgeous view. Free parking, nice pizzeria close by and a beautiful park with multiple trails just behind the hotel. The breakfast was rich with options and very tasty. We had a grand time!

Received a very warm welcome at check in. Michael even presented double scoop homemade ice cream cones and a plate of warm pastries! Breakfast was a huge buffet of yummy things. We totally loved the coffee machines for the hot chocolate! Rooms were clean and updated, cozy and had fabulous views of the nearby mountains!

We really enjoyed our stay at this guest house in Farchant. The room was spotless and spacious with a large balcony. We were greeted each evening with slices of delicious cake and the breakfast was plentiful - with great coffee. I highly recommend!

The location was perfect, on a walikng distatnce to the cable car and many hiking tracks. I’ve booked an appartment option, perfect choice. It is a very well kept property, comfortable, with great garden and amazing views. The personel is really friendly and welcoming.

The room was an apartment with a living room, dining table, kitchenette, and large bedroom. It had a balcony with amazing views of the mountains. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly.

Very clean apartment in perfect location. It is very near to the Ehrwald cable car and to the center, but it is very quiet area. Small balcony that You can sit and drink Yours morning coffee. There is also private parking place. Staff was friendly and gave us good trip advice. We definitely recommend a place.

Loved this place and would definitely come again! I was up very early to get the most out of my short stay so wasn't able to enjoy the breakfast as that was starting abit too late for me. Would be nice to have the option to have breakfast a little earlier! The view from my room was incredible and the room was very clean and cosy. The bed was a little small but very comfy. Also the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly!

The hotel was ideally situated. Two minutes walk from bus/train station and the main square. Close enough to the centre of Seefeld but far enough away to not hear any noise. The breakfast was wonderful everything you could wish for and always fresh. Room was spacious and clean.Would definitely recommend a balcony for extra mountain views especially in the winter with the snow. And the one thing that makes this hotel a 10/10 is the staff,they are so friendly and they go out of their way to help you. A special mention to Elisabeth on the front desk who can’t do enough for her guests.Our holiday wouldn’t have been the same without her knowledge and kindness.

The hotel was very clean, the views of the mountains from the balcony were amazing. The lady on the check in desk was one of my most Friendliest people I’ve met and was very helpful and informative about the town. The room was very clean and size of the room was better than imagined.

The location is ideal for access to Oberammergau stores and restaurants and for walking trails along the river, and we had a great view of the mountain from our balcony. This hotel offers real value for money. We will be back!

Friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and responded quickly to questions or when I needed help. (I had contacted them prior to my stay and they made sure to respond thoroughly to my questions). Very clean facilities. Comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet. Breakfast had a wide variety of food from meat and cheese, to yogurt, to cereals and granolas, lots of tasty friend and an assortment of pastries, delicious jam, and two types of juice.

Amazing stay. Great facilities, location can’t be beat, very friendly and helpful owners, good breakfast spread, spotlessly clean, and so comfortable. There are access to balconies, a beautiful view, a short walk to the main area of Oberammergau, a store right across the street for any last minute needs, steps away from the Bahnhof, and even a guest card for free use of bus.

I didn’t use it so I’m not sure. Comfortable seating area. Many plugs that are easy to find, which helped with charging devices. Bathroom had shelf space for items. Wonderful breakfast with an array of choices from meats/cheeses, to cereals/granola (including gluten free), fruit, a variety of yogurts, pastries, boiled eggs, and many other items- even had two juices, one orange and another that tasted really good but I’m not sure what it was- maybe a juice blend. When I needed help, it happened immediately. Staff spoke English, which helped out. I didn’t expect that. I can tell they take pride in their property. An easy, short walk to the main part of the town and shopping, restaurants, and the Passion Play.

It was an amazing 2 nights stay. The host and his family were very open and friendly. Hotel was very close to the bus stop and local attractions. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Room had all necessities and Sky TV. I would recommend it to anyone and will definitely be back to this lovely, quiet and picturesque town!!

A lovely hotel. We were warmly greeted on arrival. The check in process was very easy. There is parking right outside the hotel. Our room was lovely and big. The room is very comfortable and super clean. The beds are very comfortable and so are the pillows. We had a balcony on our room as well. It was very quiet. Large bathroom, great shower, wifi was fast and a TV, mirrors and a safe. Fabulous breakfast and all fresh and local food. There are many restaurants close by too, for dinner.

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Garni Klausnerhof. Iris, the owner, was very helpful in checking us in and making sure we had all our questions answered. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed walking to the downtown area which was very close and found a great dinner restaurant. The entire area felt very safe and convenient to groceries, restaurants and shopping. It was our first time in Seefeld, Austria but we will certainly come back and stay here again in the future. I attempted my German speaking skills with Iris and she was great! Thanks.

We stayed here before and after a mountain tour. Reception was great and very friendly. Our room was spacious and very clean. There was a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet, which is always handy. The breakfast buffet had lots of choice, was very good and everything on the buffet was refilled almost instantly. Wonderful!

The lady boss was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very strategic. It only takes a few steps to the cross-country tracks on the right and to the left are the shops and restaurants. Plenty of easy parking space on the compound. The rooms were spacious. The beds were comfortable. The heating worked. It was quiet at night. Breakfast spread was more than sufficient. Liked the sauna, especially after a whole day of doing sports in the cold.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were friendly and went the extra mile with personal touches, offering helpful advice on where to go and what to do. The room was spacious and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The sauna and steam room were excellent, and having free parking was a huge bonus. The beds were made every day, and fresh towels were provided regularly. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Wir haben drei wunderbare erholsame Tage im Graseck verbracht. 1. Spa Bereich Der Spa Bereich besteht aus einem kleinen beheizten Outdoorpool, mehreren Saunen und 3 verschiedenen Ruheräumen. Obwohl das Hotel ausgebucht war, war der Spa Bereich angenehm leer, wohl auch weil einige Zimmer für ein Geschäftsmeeting gebucht waren. Im 2. OG befindet sich der infinity pool, der als Sportpool etwas kühler beheizt ist aber ein unglaubliches Panorama bietet! 2. Zimmer Die Zimmer waren ein Traum mit offenem modernen Bad, Espresso Maschine und gefüllter Mini Bar (antialkoholisch). Zu meinem Geburtstag wurden wir nachmittags mit einer Obstplatte überrascht. 3. Verpflegung Sowohl das 4-Gänge Menü abends als auch das Frühstück mit Prosecco, pancakes, Obst, Omelette und frischen Säften haben uns vollständig überzeugt! Das Personal gibt sich sowohl im Restaurant als auch an der Rezeption alle Mühe, dass man sich als Gast wohlfühlt, vielen Dank nochmal!

My stay at Das Graseck was for 3 nights. It was very comfortable stay in a cozy hotel with modern facilities. Located on a mountain that is only accessible by cable car, very peaceful. Staffs are very nice, friendly and speak English well. Breakfast is of superb quality. The cleanliness is excellent. Restaurant for dinner does offer half board 4 course menu or a fondue which can be ordered in advance. Both are of great quality and delicious taste. The WiFi signal worked really well in all areas of the hotel. The spa area is nice with a small outdoor heated pool, which is very comfortably heated at 32’C despite the outside temperature was below freezing. All in all, this is a very good hotel in its own class and exceeded my expectations for a hotel of 4-stars superior class.

Wonderful to be back at Das Graseck! It's a truly magical corner of the earth, our second visit and for sure we will be back in the winter months. The staff are exceptionally attentive, friendly and professional with a good old sense of humour! Upon arrival, we were welcomed back and also, surprised with an upgrade to the loft suite, which made our stay super comfy and, of course the extra space and views were magnificent. Excellent breakfasts and dinner service, super selection of wines. Falling asleep to clear skies, majestic mountain views and the best... the sound of cowbells in the distance :) What a pleasure to step out of bed and straight into the mountains for a hike or a bike ride. The room was very comfortable and the style was charming. The bed was the most comfortable of all the places we stayed in Europe, but that doesn't say that much considering the competition. The huge backyard was nice for looking at the mountains and stars. The patio was perfect for a morning cup of coffee. The kitchen had everything to make a quick bite. Parking was plentiful and convenient. There was a very large TV with youtube. Wifi was excellent. The host went out of his way to get us an extra sheet for the bed. The location was great to reach activities in Grainau. There is a bus stop around the corner but when we waited the bus driver did not stop for us... The building had laundry but the machine was new and the host did not know how to work it. He offered to start a load together but our timing never worked out.

The apartment was perfectly located with a beautiful, relaxing view. About a 10 minute drive to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, as well as some restaurants within walking distance. Everything was very clean; the kitchenette had everything we needed to make an easy meal. Staff were very kind. We would stay again-thank you for the relaxing weekend!

We spent 3 amazing nights in this lovely hotel in Oberammergau. The owner was incredibly helpful and nice to us and all other guests. She surprised my wife with a little birthday cake during breakfast on the day of her birthday. It was really a nice surprise and made our day! By the way there is an amazing selection of food for breakfast and all is very delicious! Every morning there was something new on the table to chose from. The owner gave us visitor cards with which you can use public transport for free. She also helped me to organize a romantic horse carriage around town and we had a great time. Not just the owner but all the staff has been very nice and helpful. You just have to ask and they try to help you. We also used the Sauna in the basement which was really worth every Euro. Very refreshing after a long day of walking. The whole hotel is very clean and looks like freshly renovated. One can really see that the staff take care of the place and they really put their heart and soul into it. We will definitely come back again! Thank you for this amazing weekend! :)

The hospitality of the host was fabulous - she was pleasant and informative. The location was great as it was just a couple of minutes walk to the centre of town and restaurants. There was free car parking on site. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The bed was great, with nice linen too. Good Wifi and plenty of power points. We had a large balcony (room 24) with a nice view of the mountains. The bathroom was nice, with a good sized shower and hot water. Breakfast was included had a good range of items and was delicious.

The hotel was clean. The staff were really helpful and made us feel welcome from the start. We had a room upgrade and our room was absolutely stunning. Beautiful views over the alps and Oberammergau. The hotel is also really close to the centre of town. The owner recommended some restaurants and they were fantastic! The breakfast was great. There was a wide selection of breakfast items and freshly cooked eggs. The room itself was spotlessly clean and the amenities were excellent. Small kitchen and lounge and dining area. Walk in wardrobe and super clean and well maintained bathroom.

The lady at the reception was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, breakfast was varied and delicious, the rooms were comfortable and clean with a nice balcony to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view. The hotel offered its own parking lot.

My husband and I loved the Hotel Antonia from the moment we pulled in to the parking area. The hotel building is in the Bavarian style, and it was exactly the type of hotel I wanted to stay at. We were greeted by the friendly owner who made us feel so welcome. The room and bathroom was very clean and comfortable. Our room had a balcony where you could sit and enjoy the evening. The breakfast room was very inviting, and the breakfast was outstanding with many items to please everyone. The owner offered the cook eggs to order. They had absolutely the best brand of yoghurt I've ever had! The hotel has a cozy reading room in the basement. We had parking at no charge. The location of the hotel is very convenient to the shops in Oberammergau. We stayed 2 nights, and I really regretted having to leave. I especially enjoyed chatting with the owner! If I come back to Oberammergau, I will for sure stay at the Hotel Antonia again!

I cannot rave enough about this hotel. The staff were so helpful when I booking wasn't quite right. The food was amazing. The views spectacular and the drive in reception is such a fantastic concept, I don't know why other hotels don't do this around the world. After swimming in the inside and outside pools (they're linked) I tried the four(!) different saunas. Just sublime.

Exceptional service; all staff members make sure to acknowledge and help guests. The garden with numerous spots to rest up. The large pool and sauna sessions. Also, the spaciousness of the room with a large terrace.

Wonderful hotel near center of Garmisch! The staff was always super friendly, we even got an upgrade to a suite which was very nice. The suite was located in the guest house next to the hotel and the room was new with a huge bathroom and clean. We also loved the breakfast buffet and the lunch buffet. everything was fresh and tasty! Also the outdoor spa area and pool were perfect!

Quality, clean, comfort with an exceptional staff that were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also excellent with good options and again a very friendly, helpful staff. Our family really enjoyed using both the indoor and outdoor pools. We would absolutely stay at this hotel in the future if we travel to this area again.

As a female traveler I felt very safe walking around day and night. Room was small but still very cozy. LOVED the walk out balcony and view. Bedding and towels were clean. Shower had a cute little rubber frog with the hotel logo on it! Love that they are environmentally friendly. Little details like chocolates on the bed is a very welcoming touch. The room included a small fridge which provided alcoholic and nonalcoholic options for a reasonable fee. The breakfast, which is included in your stay, had some great options to include a variety of breads, deli meats, cheeses, yogurt with various options for toppings, fruits, cereal and hard boiled eggs that had the cutest crochet “hats” to keep them warm. They also the option to order eggs to your preference. I was very impressed with this property as you very rarely see this kind of service in the U.S. anymore. I would most definitely stay here again!

The view from my single room was amazing. I didn't expect to have a balcony and a large window, so I enjoyed my time there. As everyone had mentioned, the breakfast was exceptional. The staff offered a choice of drinks and a hot meal for every guest, and the dining room/terrace was pleasantly quiet, with a view of the mountains. It was the most relaxing and comfortable breakfast experience I've ever had at a hotel.

Very convenient location just across the river from downtown (easily walkable to restaurants/shops). Plenty of parking. Spacious, clean room with small balcony that had outstanding views. Breakfast quality was excellent, served in a quaint dining room with a wonderful patio option. Service (overall and at breakfast) was phenomenal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay with the Hotel Aschenbrenner. Professional and personable service from check in to saying goodbye; from the owner herself and entire staff. Very welcomed and comfortable during entire stay. Best things about Aschenbrenner? Everything. One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed! Great location, quiet at night, well maintained old home, good security with key process, very comfortable bed, good night’s sleep, easy parking that was always available, mini refrigerator and safe in room, great shower with plenty of hot water, and one of the best breakfast services we have had at a hotel. Even had time one day to enjoy relaxing in beautiful gardens. We highly recommend; just maybe best lodging from our many visits to Garmisch; we are so happy we selected the Aschenbrenner! Breakfast is very nice, quality food with authentic German food. The host made me fresh eggs and bacon. Very quiet. Very close and convenient to the train station, yet you will not see or hear it. Restaurants and bars and shopping within a 5 minute walk. I hope I get to return some day.

The loft annex room for one person was just perfect - plenty of room; comfortable bed; cosy lounge/TV area; balcony with mountain views; small, well-equipped kitchen; modern bathroom with sky facing windows letting in plentiful natural light; beautiful wooden floors and ceiling. The staff were invariably friendly and helpful, dealing admirably with the fact that I spoke only English. The location was ideal for someone like me. It was only a short walk to the train and bus stops, Lidl for groceries, tourist information office, and many cafes. The Guest Card allowed me to use the public bus for free to visit Mittenwald, Ettal, Lindhof Palace and even Neuschwanstein Castle, 2 hours away.

This felt like you were a guest in a home. Every staff member was exceptional! The young lady running the breakfast was so helpful and lovely! The man at the desk gave me exact directions to do my activities. The balcony in my room looked toward the mountains and was so relaxing! There was complimentary drinks and chocolate. This was one of the best run hotels I have stayed in! The hotel is an easy 9 minute walk from train station in a gorgeous quiet neighborhood but also close to restaurants! They give you a free bus pass that even got me to Mittenwald one night for dinner.

My wife and I stayed over the long Easter weekend at the hotel. We were impressed by the warm and friendly welcome of the staff. They were always available to assist with any request or question we had. The quality of the food was very good, and I was impressed by the variety and freshness of the dishes served at each meal. The restaurant staff were also extremely attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was always enjoyable. Same goes for the nice people at the Talstation bar. Our room was spacious, with comfortable beds and all the amenities that we needed. The view of the lake from the room was breathtaking, and we enjoyed spending time on the balcony, taking in the beautiful surroundings. The spa was cozy and clean, with the snow room adding a nice touch to the sauna experience. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hotel am Badersee to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the Garmisch and Zugspitze area.

We didn’t actually stay at Seefelds, they were doing some renovation so upgraded us to their sister hotel up the hill; Krumers Alpin. I can’t fault anything about this hotel, absolutely stunning, from the friendly staff, stunning location, rooms, bathroom, pool and leisure facilities, parking and food. Everything was amazing, so much so that I’m already reconsidering travel plans for next year to include another visit to Krumers.

Lovely breakfast room with a solid breakfast and polite staff. No indoor pool but had a sauna and steam room, which was sufficient. Stylish bedrooms with modern bathrooms and rain showers. Generally, both the private and common areas looked new and up-to-date.

Seefeld bed and breakfast is the perfect place where to stay when going to Seefeld! It’s location is perfect, easy to get there from the train station but also in the city center of Seefeld. The personal was exceptionally fantastic, all my needs where immediately satisfied! Always available and ready to help, very well organized and always smiling. They are for sure a big plus for the hotel. The room was amazing: clean, big, welcoming, warm and with a great view on the mountains. But that’s not all. They have a fantastic sauna and they offer massages for a very cheap price. Last but not least.. their breakfast will make you so happy to get up and start the day! You can find everything you want and the quality is AMAZING! Soo, for whatever reason you have to go to Seefeld, seefeld bed and breakfast is the best place where to stay

The hotel is excellent and exceeded our expectations. The room was perfect. All the staff were very professional in providing service, friendly, kind, and quick to respond to guests' requests. The restaurant (despite the large demand for breakfast) was accommodating by preparing special requests for us. The room service staff were more than wonderful. The reception staff were wonderful, especially Ms. Giada and Ms. Angleka at the reception. I consider them the best employees in the world who greeted me upon arrival. I thank all the hotel staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and have everything you need. We didn't encounter any problems with breakfast, and the restaurant has a variety of delicious food. There is also free parking for hotel guests, and I will definitely return to book here in the future.

We are a traveling couple and booking our places to stay on the road. This location was magical, we didn’t have the time to enjoy the pool and the spa but everything looked great and in good condition. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the room was clean and the facilities were comfortable (kettle with tea, plates and knives for a quick late dinner). The view for the garden was incredible! The staff was nice and helpful.

The location is idyllic, the decoration of the hotel is very cute and well taken care of. The pool was a nice touch after a long day. Beds were amazing comfortable and the breakfast was super tasty. The personnel made us a nice omelet and coffee. We could enjoy the view of the mountains while eating. I would recommend it 100%.

We are repeat customers. We like the friendly and attentive service staffs. Clean and spacious rooms. Delicious dinner meals. Plentiful breakfast spread. A pity that the afternoon coffee and tea is back to like before, and not self-serviced anymore :) Pool is nice and the saunas are great.

The staff has been very kind and accomodating right from the start. I had some eating restrictions and these were carefully considered for breakfast and dinner. The room was a good size, we had a balcony as well, and it was really clean. The pool was a really nice touch, we actually really enjoyed spending time there. The food was amazing, good quality and quantity.

The staff were all kind and polite. The room may have been called "small and cosy", but was actually more spacious than many hotel rooms I've stayed in! The bed was comfy, the bathroom modern, the shower powerful. The breakfast buffet had a reasonable selection, as much as you'd expect in a hotel of this size, and everything we tried was tasty and fresh. Would stay there again.

The property was in a pretty central location and was only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. The room that I shared with my dad was spacious with a huge bathroom and a balcony where we could hear the river that was behind the property. The breakfast selection was amazing with a lot of vegan options for me. The staff members were incredibly kind and helpful and made our stay that much better. I only have positive things to say and I will definitely be back!

The breakfast was quite nice with a good selection in the buffet. The location was pleasant in the nature and not far from other small towns by car. I also liked the sauna which is well maintained and enjoyable to use.

It’s a beautiful and comfortable hotel in an excellent location for hiking and biking. Our suite overlooked the lake and mountains with an incredible view. The breakfast was fresh, healthy and delicious.

The breakfast was excellent and always served with a cheerful smile. Although the hotel didn't have a functioning restaurant while we were there it did provide tea/coffee making facilities during the afternoon and filled rolls which we were invited to take. The location is perfect for walking and all paths are clearly sign posted. The mountain views are superb.

Underwhelming first impression. Exterior of property a little the worse for wear. However, the inside was immaculate. Reception, bar area, breakfast room, restaurant and room were all immaculate. Everything very clean. Comfortable mattress and top quality duvet (goose down filled). Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice; eggs cooked to order. Best of all was the MAGNIFICENT view from our balcony. Snow-capped mountain peaks visible on all sides. On site parking available. Short walk into town.

We stayed at Seelos over Christmas and absolutely loved our experience. The hotel is beautiful, and the views are stunning, making us feel like we were in a magical winter wonderland. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming—every single person. Angel, the head of the restaurant, went above and beyond for us, while Tom at the reception was the friendliest person ever and extremely helpful. Maryna and Svetlana were also very kind and provided us with excellent service. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the atmosphere is enchanting. As a family of four, we had a fantastic time skiing every day, and returning to this cosy haven was simply amazing. Thank you for making our Christmas so special this year!

The Seelos has a fantastic location looking over the village, the view is absolutely stunning. There is a pleasant walk over the meadow to the village centre and to the shops and restaurants. I stayed in a single room, which was extremely spacious, large bed, clean and furnished traditionally with a modern feel. The room had a fridge too. Breakfast was varied and good quality. There were hot dishes to order such as fried eggs and omelettes, as well as bacon, sausages, boiled eggs, toast and full continental options too. Loads of tea selections too. The staff were very friendly and polite. The evening barman was really nice too. I would definitely recommend coming to stay in the hotel. I’ve stayed in Seefeld around 9 times over the years and this hotel was definitely one of my favourites.

A lovely hotel nestled on a small hill above Seelos downtown. A short walk takes you to the city center, and there are lots of walking trails in Seefeld itself. It was very quiet during our stay, the bartenders and other staff were very friendly and breakfast was delicious. The room was comfortable and spacious, and had a beautiful view. I look forward to staying here again.

Amazing stay in 4-bed room. We had enough space, beds were comfortable, everything was perfectly clean. We came later in the day so the owner Anca left as key and all the information in the envelope attached on the door so checking in went smoothly. The breakfast was amazing! Very delicious and fresh!

We were very pleased with our stay at this wonderful hotel! It is located in a historic building that has preserved all its exquisite beauty and charm. What impressed us the most were the spacious rooms, which, despite the historical ambiance, are equipped with all modern amenities — everything you need for a comfortable stay. A special highlight was the breakfast — fresh and delicious dishes enjoyed with a stunning view of the mountains and the surrounding historic buildings. It created a unique atmosphere of comfort and inspiration in the morning. The availability of free parking was a pleasant bonus, especially in an urban setting.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were very obliging. We had a large duplex room with a balcony overlooking the yard which is used as a car park for guests. The balcony detail which was built around a tree trunk was very much appreciated, we love the fact that the tree was safeguarded during the construction works. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. We also had dinner in the hotel's restaurant on one of the nights, the food was very good. The restaurant is located in the main old and picturesque building.

Spent a week here on a walking trip. This small historic hotel/restaurant has a great location in the town centre. Rooms vary a lot in terms of size but we were very pleased with ours, it was clean, spacious, looked newly decorated and as a bonus it had a lovely view. Breakfasts were excellent. Mostly the staff were lovely and very helpful, especially those on reception. Unfortunately the meal we had on the first night was terrible so (other than breakfast) we never ate at the hotel again. Recommend staying here but our advice is to eat elsewhere for lunch and dinner if you can.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It has a great backdrop with mountain view and an open field view in its front yard, separating it from the crowds of busy hotel in the centre. The train station is within sight (basically in front of you) and it is within walking distance to the city centre and the Congress centre. It has great facilities with hot sauna, mist sauna and infrared thermotherapy in the basement. The breakfast has all you want to start your day. The staff, especially Andrea and Christina, are very friendly and helpful, making the stay like home. All in all, the hotel gives a very cozy, homely, comfortable feeling. I will definitely stay there again!

Everything about our stay was exceptional. We booked last minute while just a few km away while on a multi-country road trip. We wish we could have stayed another night to fully experience the gasthaus. The service was so friendly and welcoming, and the location was gorgeous. Walking distance from downtown Seefeld with beautiful views from the downstairs patio and our room balcony. The bed was very comfortable, though we did request extra pillows which made it even better. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great selection of foods. I would absolutely stay here again!

Exceptionally well located property, overlooking Ettal monastery and surrounding Alpine meadows. Our room (family room) was extra spacious, modern and bright wooden decor - feels fresh and updated, with two separate rooms and huge, covered balcony overlooking the Kloster Ettal - a magical view! Since it was cold outside, we super valued ability to switch on heating and get the room truly warm. The bathroom was excellent, with all the amenities and plush, soft towels in ample amount. Espresso machine and fully stocked minibar completed the picture - really impressive! The dinner was good - nice, small and separate restaurant onsite, cozy, with great choices of food and drinks - we enjoyed. The breakfast next day was good - a pretty standard choice of hot and cold food, nice tea selection, very spacious breakfast room (no much service at the table, neither any a la carte dishes). A separate compliment to restaurant and staff - they speaks good English and actually, were surprisingly many international guests at the hotel. Overall - we liked the place, it also feels much more than a 3 star hotel (except for breakfast, perhaps), as it also has Spa and even room service was available.

Beautifully perched above the town of Ettal with spectacular views of the Ettal Kloster. Cozy bavarian design with comfy beds and spacious room/bathrooms. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, watching and listening the flock of sheep that grazed behind the hotel. Very relaxing, indeed! The hotel restaurant serves a bountiful breakfast buffet and excellent dinner options. We enjoyed the 'Grill-Evening' on Friday night. Excellent choices of meets, side dishes, salads & deserts. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. Relaxing outdoor lounges and seating area as well as a small playground for kids. One can relax in the sauna after a day of outdoor activities. Free parking on hotel property. We have stayed at the Hotel Blaue Gams every time when in the area and highly recomnend it.

Location is hard to believe - full view of Ettal monastery with the Alps on the backdrop. One of the best views.. Rooms are traditional in overall style, yet modernized with fresh and bathrooms. Great water pressure and temperature, large balcony with seating area, fully equipped minibar - really the only thing potentially missing in the basic rooms is tea/coffee facilities. The breakfast is pretty good, with a few missing things maybe, but, you get a candle lighted on every table while the breakfast and this is sooo charming!

An outstanding hotel with great attention to detail. Located within walking distance to the centre. Large room with a balcony, spacious bathroom, plenty of storage space. Half-board option with superb choices both for breakfast/ dinner, including fantastic glutenfree and lactofree options. Pool, games room and afternoon tea/coffe and cake and nice bonus.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Hotel was very child-friendly with a sleeping cot available, baby chairs in the restaurant and kids playroom. Also, the staff was very friendly and accommodating with the baby, which was so amazing! There were also several optional activities/events happening during our stay at the hotel (live music, groups walks, etc.), which were a good addition to the holiday.

A family style hotel, cosy, nice deco, friendly staff. You get your own table for the whole stay and get to choose the courses for the dinner. The dinner is of an excellent quality, with a wide range of vegetables, cold and warm starters. The desserts are also very nice. A special thank to the waiters (Aleksander - thank you!). We felt very much at home during our stay. The beds are also worth mentioning - good quality and comfy. Good spa.

The hotel has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. You can enjoy the quiet surroundings and views, but it's still on only a few minutes walking distance to the centre of Seefeld. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was abundant and delicious. It was an amazing stay for us.

Not only the apartment is open, spacious and cozy, the entire house is very welcoming. We stayed with a toddler and a baby and we couldn't have asked for more. The lift conveniently takes you to every level so that we were able to effortlessly roll our sleeping children into the apartment. The location is amazing and super convenient for restaurants, grocery stores and shopping even without a car. Parking is available just outside the house though. The hosts were fantastic. We booked last minute as our plans changed. The apartment was ready and we were welcomed by one of the hosts in the nicest way. Thanks again. You saved our holidays. We're definitely coming back.

Our hosts were so friendly and a wealth of information on the local area. This accommodation is brand new, and they take pride in their work, as they should! The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. We loved having wine on the back porch in the evenings and breakfast around the table in the mornings. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were very big, clean, and modern. This was a great place for our two families to stay.

The apartment was comfortable, clean, well decorated, well equipped with everything we needed and both the dining room table and balcony area had a view of the mountain, which is what we had hoped for in Garmisch. The location could not have been better - so close to the centre of town, and also close to a supermarket when needed. We will definitely be back again.

New, well equipped and comfortable appartement. Very friendly hosts that provide good recommendations for restaurants and ski areas. Situated in the city center with restaurants and shops on walking distance. Easy to reach by car or train with station directly in front of the house. From there public transportation to other ski areas every hour.

There was no breakfast provided but the location was close to everything and 1 block from a great market. The accommodations were clean and spacious with a fabulous view of the mountains. Parking was free and within feet of our room

The tourist card we were given provides access to many local attractions although we only took advantage of the free bus travel. When we arrived (by motorcycle) our clothing was wet so they showed us the boiler room to dry our gear. Really first class stay and if we are in the area again we would definitely return.

It was an unbelievable experience right from when we checked in. The host was very welcoming and loved to tell us the history of the hotel. Everything from the room to the breakfast was outstanding. In my experience, I have found no other hotel breakfast that can compare. From freshly squeezed orange juice to the selection at the breakfast table, it was vast. I only wish that we had stayed longer than 1 night. We tried the indoor pool and the various saunas. The juice bar in the quiet room……. my review does not do this hotel justice.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Rheinischer Hof. The hotel is very well located, tidy and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and they serve an amazing breakfast with a lot of options as well as fresh orange juice and pancakes. The wellness center offers different kinds of sauna and a nice swimming pool. I would totally recommend and also go back.

If you have snacks or ordered pizza, you can spend time there. A lot of variety of cold and hot drinks through the day. Good spa, heated pool, saunas. We had a car, there is free parking lot. It was convinient to reach Zugspitsebahn, it takes 15 min drive.

Amazing views, great location, comfy rooms. So nice to have pool and sauna after a long day hiking. It was my birthday and they decorated the table at breakfast, I felt very special - thank you 10/10

We had a great stay at the Hotel. Super location on outskirts of town. Quiet. Room was very comfortable and large with separate sitting room, bathroom, bedroom and huge balcony with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Plenty of easy parking and we used the Indoor Pool. Also, secure storage for bikes. Hotel bar & restaurant is not open on Thursday and Fridays but plenty of places to eat in vicinity. Breakfast was pleasant and can be taken inside or outside on the large terrace, Lots to do in local area cycling, walking and sightseeing

A beautiful hotel with staff who couldn’t be more helpful. The room was large with a balcony overlooking the valley. The spa had a nice sauna and small plunge pool. The restaurant had a hearty breakfast and good menu for dinner. Located with a 5 minute walk into town.

We very much enjoyed the room & the breakfast (a very hearty breakfast). The spa including the pool, the sauna, and the massage were appreciated after a long 2 weeks of travel, hiking, and playing tourist. The proximity to the Ettal monastery and basilica (both located across the street) were the primary reason for staying at the Hotel Klosterhotel Ludwig der Bayer, so an outstanding hotel made the visit much more enjoyable.

This hotel is excellent. The location in a very small village, next to kloster is perfect if you prefer tranquility and charm of a small Alps village over action. Perfect to just relax, take a swim in indoor pool and enjoy the comfort this hotel is offering. There's also a nice Italian restaurant just next door. Ettal Kloster Bier is excellent!

The apartments are new, contemporary design, kind of glam look. While the all glass bathroom might look great, I admit it may not be for everybody due to the limited privacy.

First of all: the staff! The owners and all the staff in the hotel are extremely friendly and welcoming. We appreciated this enormously. You immediately feel at home. It’s a beautiful and very typical hotel. Comfortable rooms, well equipped (including little kitchenette). All necessary amenities were present. Furthermore the rooms were very clean. We equally adored the breakfast buffet. There is a large parking so you don’t have to worry about finding a place in Seefeld. A special thanks to Angelica and Eric, perfect hosts.

This was an amazing apartment I cannot rate it highly enough . We have had so many let downs when it comes to accommodation so really was not that optimistic but it honestly was brilliant . We firstly were upgraded which was a great surprise , the apartment was so nice with an amazing balcony and view of the mountains . Air con was a god send , shower was brilliant . They have washing machine and dryer in garage which is also handy and the man on desk was so helpful . The apartment is a 10 min walk from train , Lidl and zugspitze train , also 5 min walk from town . Garmish has been the best holiday I’ve ever been on it’s so peaceful clean and calm and will be back

Modern , stylish, very clean , spacious apartment in a central location with beautiful view. The apartments are equipped with everything that you need .The wifi is fast. The living room was very spacious with big TV that have various channels , Netflix and YouTube. Apartment access is fully automated using Bader Suite Website or Mobile Applications .

A modern well maintained apartment just 10 minutes walk from central Garmisch. The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful offering to help with luggage etc. The underground car park was spacious. The online check in and check out was easy. We travelled with our dog and the apartment and Garmische generally was pretty dog friendly.

Everything! Location? Perfect! Staff? Friendly and very helpful. Location? Minutes from Everything, to include all the top rated restaurants. Cleanliness? We couldn't even find a small cobweb, that's how clean this place was. Just a fantastic place and perfect location.

Great stay, friendly check-in and as I was leaving very early in the morning (4am) was able to checkout the night before and even comped a drink in my room since I wouldn't make breakfast. The pool was AMAZING, and location was perfect for a hiker like myself. Would absolutely stay again.

Hotel has indoor pool and sauna for use. Dinner added was amazing in particular last night buffet dinner with variety of local food and live music. Final dessert was a great surprise! Hotel is close to train station with just few minutes easy walk.

The breakfast was extensive and super fresh. Once of the best we had in Germany. The room was very clean and had some old world Alpine charm but not outdated. Our room had an incredible balcony that viewed the whole of the surrounding buildings of Mittenwald and of the alps. The sauna and pool was breathtaking. The staff was some of the nicest people! And the location couldn't get any better. Literally no complaints and truly hope I can stay there again in the future!

Great food to choose from and the staff was very nice and welcoming. As a bonus, despite the fact that check-out on the 1st was scheduled to 11 AM, the staff at the reception kindly let us use the room till noon and on top provided access to the pool and spa area which was a very kind gesture - thanks!

The location is very central. The room is quite spacious. The variety of food, both in the breakfast and dinner, is very nice. The service is very good. The facilities at sauna are very diverse. The indoor pool is very big.

Enjoyed our stay here in the November off-season. Room was clean and tidy and the breakfast spread plentiful! Pool was the perfect size for children and they loved the fountain. Remarkably the hot tub was only "warm" at best. Pool was well maintained as they cleaned it each morning. Grainau was a charming little town with many shops, cafes and restaurants - the majority of which were closed when we were there, it being the off season and all. Was surprised that we were charged for parking on the lot, given the non-urban location of the hotel.

Both the food and the service in the restaurant were perfect. The evening menu offered something for everyone in our party. Mornings brought a beautiful breakfast and four star service. The management was there for you at every turn. The spa and pool areas were spotless and most enjoyable. The setting is picture perfect!

We had such a wonderful time that we extended our stay. Rooms are spaceous and very comfortable with balcony and stunning views of the mountains. The staff was always helpful and dinner was outstanding. We also enjoyed the pool and steam room. I wish we could have stayed longer, definitely a great spot for all kinds of travellers.

The room was super cute and had amenities to borrow for activities in the area. The balcony had an amazing view. The pool and spa were very clean with a beautiful view.

Everything is great: design of lounges zones, level of comfort, kids and family friendly hotel, great spa zone (really great), big pool, spa zone for kids, outside pool with heating- nice place to relax after ski day. Amazing breakfast! We liked everything and we will be back !

This beautiful hotel even exceeded our expectations! Gorgeous room with mountain views, comfortable bed and modern amenities. The spa was amazing, particularly the outdoor pool with a view of the Zugspitze. Breakfast buffet was brilliant and the complementary coffee and cake in the afternoon was a lovely touch. Location right next to the train station couldn’t be better.

Everything was perfect - the great location - so close to the train station and the Zugspitzebahn station, the welcoming and cosy design, the spacious room, the absolutely delicious breakfast with such a wide choice and fresh food, the wonderful swimming pools and saunas. We loved literally everything!

Absolutely exceptional! This hotel only added to the beauty and splendor that surrounds Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The hotel is beautifully appointed and has everything one could ask for in a relexing trip, with or without children. There is a play area for children, a large indoor/outdoor pool, a spa (the massage and facial were wonderful!), and an excellent restaurant and bar. The location is easy access to the trains and trails as well as shopping and restaurants in the downtown area. I have NO DOUBT that on our next trip to Garmisch-Partenkirchen we will be staying here once again.

The Atlas Grand location was absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of a wonderful shopping district with restaurants, a bakery and shops within steps of the front door. Truly a wonderful experience staying at this hotel with my partner for my 30th Birthday celebrations. From check-in we were greeted by the amazing Neyboysha who gave us complimentary champagne and was very friendly and welcoming throughout our entire stay. It was a pleasure to chat with him daily. Truly an asset to the hotel! All the staff members were also very friendly and welcoming, made us feel very comfortable and always had time to talk and a small chat as we were coming and going. The facilities are fantastic, although the pool was closed for maintenance, the sauna was available and had amazing views of the mountains from the sauna room and relaxation area. Haven’t felt peace and relaxation like it before. The room was superb, with a beautiful balcony with an astonishing view, I had to pinch myself when I first saw the view, life couldn’t possibly feel bad while staying here. The street the hotel is on is iconic, with many great taverns, cafes, bakeries and stores to explore. The bus stop is a few min walk away and very convenient. Once you’ve paid the city tax at the hotel (not much at all) you’re given a free bus pass, to enjoy the buses for free during your stay which was super helpful as we used the bus a lot to access many local areas.

The hotel is located a short walk from the center of Garmisch. Our room was large, and pleasantly decorated in white and blond wood. We were lucky enough to get a balcony looking over to the Zugspitze. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the contents of the minibar were refilled every day free of charge. The pool was a good size and we enjoyed sitting out in the evening in the hotel bar. The staff was friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was very good.

We went there because we wanted to go skiing, the hotel staff was very friendly. They helped us every time we had a question. The hotel is very nice, the location is good, the hotel room had a mountain view, the room was comfortable, with mini bar included and the breakfast was very good. The pool and relaxation area was small but enough to be comfortable. In front of the hotel you can rent snowboard or ski equipment if you wish.

This was our third stay here and it again exceeded our expectations! The food, pool and spa facilities are amazing and the views are breathtaking. The kids outdoor play area and indoor kids club were perfect even in less than ideal weather. Even though it rained the entire time we were there we still had an awesome hike around the lake, got to sneak in a ride up to Zugspitze when it was clear, had cozy meals and an incredibly relaxing stay. The staff is also superb and what makes this place that much more enjoyable.

Location is unbeatable! Simply stunning. Definitely go up the cable car. Lake is beautiful and hotel has SUP, kayak and canoes to use. Plenty of sun loungers. Indoor swimming pool and spa area really nice. Lovely robe, beach towel and slippers provided. Very nice food in the restaurant.

Probably one of my favourite properties I've stayed in. Amazing facilities ranging from relaxation areas to wellness to the private beach access. Amazing design balancing modern and quaint aesthetic. Super comfy rooms and beds. Great food, amazing breakfast. Spotless everywhere. And super super nice staff always willing to help and give great service (absolutely not a given in Germany). Will come back for sure, highly recommend!

The view from our room was marvelous. The room was big, clean, equipped with everything. Good breakfast and dessert. Appreciated the snacks served between breakfast and dinner. Plenty of alcoholic drinks to choose from, good cocktails. I appreciated the private sundeck with sunbeds and that the SUPs and canoes were for free, as well as life vests and paddles. The self service bar was a nice touch too. Even though we discovered it on our own, since no one actually told us about it. Even if I did not use the service, I think it's cool they provide bikes for rental. I appreciated we received the Grainau Card, even if we didn't really use it. But a cute gesture. Parking with a lot of spaces, only for hotel guests.

Stayed 2 nights at the Pension Bavaria, received a very friendly welcome from the owner which set the tone of the stay. I had received good communications from the pension prior to our arrival and they even booked us a table at a local restaurant for our first night, good signs. The pension is spread over 2 buildings, we were in room 7 on the top floor of the second building. The room is in the gables so seemed a little cramped but had a first class balcony with a stunning view out across the valley. It also had a small kitchenette. As others have said decor is dated and a little unusual but all was very clean and did us fine. Wi-fi worked in the main building but only on our balcony, a good excuse to sit there longer! Breakfast was basic but sufficient and all in all we had no complaints. The pension is situated at one end of the village, about 15 minute walk from the railway station or take a taxi, it's not the most outwardly appealing building in a stunningly pretty village but give it a go...you won't regret it, great value too!!

Had a great stay here for two nights. Nice owner. Decent sized rooms, especially compared with those we found elsewhere. Nice big bathroom with big tub. Everything is a little dated, but it's spacious enough and our rooms had great balconies with mountain views. One significant drawback was the lack of wifi in the rooms. You have to be in the main house where breakfast is served to access the free wifi. Breakfast was your typical spread of breads and meats and cheeses with some cereals and jams thrown in. I like the location, although it is not perfectly central in this town. Just a mile or so from "the action" in Mittenwald.

I spent 2 nights in this hotel with my children. The booking process was easy, and the staff communicated promptly via e-mail. The hotel itself is fairly dated decor wise, but it was very clean and the location is perfect for exploring Mittenwald. There is a free car park next to the hotel, the WiFi was free and the reception was perfect (even on the balcony of our attic room), there was a free safety deposit box, and the breakfast was simple but adequate. The hotel owners were helpful and offered lots of good advice on what to see and do in the area.

For some reason I hesitated booking this particular hotel because the photos didn’t seem “that nice”. The room was huge. Amazing balcony. Very comfortable and clean. However the staff…they were all amazing. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and not least Claudia the owner of the bar. Everyone was friendly, helpful and just a delight to see and talk to every day!

The room was exceptionally nice — comfortable bed, amazing shower, and a soothing view from the balcony, especially on a rainy day. We had a short stay to visit Eibsee and Zugspitze, and the hotel's location was convenient for public transportation and close to some great restaurants. The reception staff were also super helpful and welcoming.

After some research I chose this hotel based on recent reviews. Check in was handled smoothly and the staff explained all the facilities on offer both in the hotel and registration for the Gästekarte that gives visitors some perks whilst in the area. Our room was spacious, clean and had a balcony with a great view of the Alps. There was a good selection on offer for breakfast with the usual cold cuts, cheese, bread rolls and sausage, eggs available. the breakfast staff were attentive and friendly.

The staff were excellent, friendly and enjoyable. Breakfast perfect with lots of choices and staff quickly preparing coffee, clearing and assisting. The property location is IDEAL, clean, minimalist and beautiful views. Great choice!!!

Our stay in Oberammergau was way to short. The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly. The family room was great for a family of 5 and very clean.Every morning we enjoyed a healthy breakfast buffet which started us of in the day. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Arnika and would like to come back and stay longer. The area is beautiful and great for a lot of outdoor activities also the public swimming pool (Erlebnisbad)is not far from the hotel.

This small hotel is an absolute gem and three stars doesn't really mean anything, other than the star ratings are not really designed to deal with small boutique hotels not in a big city. Hotel Arnika is fabulous and I hesitate to tell you all about it since I want it to remain just as it is. This spotless, bright, and airy hotel - maybe 30 rooms total - sits in the Ammer valley in the Bavarian Alps with a million-dollar view of some of the most beautiful mountains in Europe. The owner is a an accomplished chef, so the small - maybe seats 50 people - reataurant punches way above its weight in quality, originality and selection. I highly recommend staying over on a Wednesday for their fabled Schnitzeltag, when they have 25 kinds of schnitzel on the menu. It's also an easy walk into Oberammergau and there is one of the best schwimbads in Germany about 3 mins up the road. For Americans - these are wildly elaborate swimming complexes throughout Germany. This one has six various pools and two big indoor tube slides. Ridiculously cheap and a great way to wear out the kids for a day. The only downside to city cave dwellers may be that when the breeze comes off the mountains, you can smell the neighbrs - goats and milk cows. This is a place not to be missed in an idyllic setting.

The hallway carpet smelled of cigarette smoke but the room was clean. Bathroom was modern with an excellent shower and plenty of hot water. Evening meals in the restaurant were fair to good, prices were okay. Decent value for the money but, one more unpleasant staff member and this review would have been very negative.

Clean comfortable and friendly hotel in a stunning location. The staff are friendly and accommodating in this small but very comfortable hotel. I came here for a small break after some business in Munich and before more business in London. I can recommend this place.

Loved the breakfast - you could make your own fresh orange juice or vegetable juice! Also a great selection of food. Restaurant downstairs for dinner. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Place very clean and beds comfy.

The Family Apartment was enormous! It had good doors between each bedroom and the sofa bedroom/lounge, so we all had private bedrooms. There are two toilets for the apartment, each with its own shower. The larger bathroom also has a huge bath and a private sauna! The smaller bedroom and the lounge/sofa bedroom both had access to a private balcony with chairs and stunning mountain and river views. There is even a dressing room and wardrobe space. The apartment was absolutely wonderful! Breakfast was varied and plentiful, offering just about anything you could want from hot and cold food to hot and cold drinks. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location couldn't have been better!

Staff at the reception was nice. Breakfast and wellness area (which included 2 saunas, pool and a massage table) were great. Owner was very friendly and talked with the guests at breakfast and even gave me a lift when I needed to go to train station in the rain and did not have umbrella. Rooms very clean and generally the hotel is very well thought through and equipped well (spare umbrellas, newspaper, souvenirs you can by right at the hotel, post box if you want to send a postcard).

Fantastic location! The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed very much sauna and pool after a hiking day. The breakfast was great! What I really was amazed about is finding in our room a little bucket with towels and treats for our dog! Such a lovely gesture!

We had booked our stay three hours upon arrival and I had not expected to have the exceptional service as we had. We had stayed here due to short notice of a family members health issue and was close to the clinic. My child had a smile on her face the entire time as she enjoyed the hot chocolate that came in a kettle; the swimming pool; the use of the sled and a Teddybear souvenir from the hotel that helped bring my child comfort for the upcoming days in the clinic. We definitely will be coming back to stay. Thank you.

There was a beautiful stream flowing through the courtyard, and although the water was very cold, the children enjoyed playing in it. There was also a playground for kids and a large pool facility near the hotel, making it a great location for families with children.

Perfect place for a stay. Friendly and helpful service and couldn't do enough to help with anything we needed. Room was perfect size and the view from the windows was breathtaking. Restaurant meal was exceptional and the breakfast was the best in all our travels. Would certainly stay again. Highly recommended.

Room was spacious and clean, balcony has a nice view of street and mountains. Hotel is very close to the public transport buses and train both. Farchant is near to Garmisch and Zugspitze. Everyday twice you can watch cows walking in front of the hotel and hear the sound cow bells. Breakfast was also good. Room had a coffee machine to enjoy a quick coffee. Staff was very helpful.

The room had an amazing view! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room itself was spacious, equipped with a hair dryer and a coffee machine. We had such a lovely stay, to celebrate our birthdays. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. We took a day trip, hiking to seeben see and drachen see. Hotel Aloin was very well located for this. Breakfast was great, our room with a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony was clean and had everything we needed. We felt well taken care of during our stay!

Comfortable room and bed, very helpful and pleasant owners. Good breakfast, possibility of dinner in several restaurants around the hotel (according to the owner's recommendation) I can only recommend the accommodation and I would be happy to stay here again.

The balcony had enough room for 2-3 people to relax comfortably in the evenings. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with toiletries and towels. Complimentary bathrobes and slippers were provided for use in the hotel’s wellness centre. The wellness centre was not very busy at all (we encountered only one other couple in there). The hotel staff were pleasant, friendly and very helpful. The dining room was modestly-sized but quite spacious. The breakfast buffet was in an adjacent room with an excellent choice of cold and hot breakfasts; among other innovations a fresh honey comb provided natural, clear honey. The evening menu had a broad selection of both vegetarian and meaty cuisine. The Hotel Maximilian featured a cosy pub which felt like an authentic German kneipe. The hotel brewed its own beer which is worth sampling. Their Maxbräu beer had a flavour similar to a tasty Indian pale ale. The hotel was well located within a short walking distance of Oberammergau’s town centre and a short drive to the famous Linderhof Palace.

This place is amazing. Has everything you need. Nice views(keep in mind is at the street on all sides and it can get a bit noisy in the mornings) Friendly and polite stuff. Jacob was the one who made our check in and he was amazing. He set the mood for an incredible evening. He explained everything that the city can offer and all the facilities of the hotel. The food was excellent and the see if impeccable! I had the gulas and it was something that I cannot describe! It was delicious and the portions were big. Also the breakfast was tasty and with a lot of options. I did not use the spa facilities so I cannot tell anything about it. The room was big and had a balcony on both sides! It was impeccable. So clean and nicely decorated that I feel bad sleeping there! Some minus point: the spa opens at 3, the vinegar smell when the rooms are getting clean it’s really strong and unpleasant and the mold in the bathroom (shower area only)

Maybe the best hotel in Oberammergau? It was my first stay at this hotel, since my normal hotel was occupied. Now I have found a new favorite place to stay. EXCELLENT rooms. Great location. Nice breakfast. Very beautiful decor in the room and hallway. Very clean. Nice staff. Great bathroom with a bathtub (and a shower). Great balcony (although there should be a complete closure between the balconies. I think it was only on my floor that it was a problem. There was only a half wall. It should be fixed.) Strangely enough for a hotel of this high standard, there no coffee-maker in the room. If I had known, I would have brought my own. I missed my coffee in my room in the morning and the evening. But that aside: I loved my stay at Maximilien and will return. (I didn't use the evening restaurant this time, but have before, just as a dinner guest - and it is also very nice).

Hotel had a luxury look and feel, the room was big and well equipped, balcony, flat scren tv, bathtub, bathroom with glass wall to room and electric curtains to increase privacy. Breakfast was special, variety of different foods and drinks in small glass bottles and cups and all really tasty. Especially fresh honeycomb...i have never seen that before offered in any hotels! Hotel have a small day spa / sauna area downstairs witch is complimentary for guests and you should really try it out: special theme saunas, light & sound showers and relaxing room, uuhh! Service was superb, special thanks to breakfast lady who kindly helped us with gluten free food! If you travel by car, you can pre book garage space for your car. @ check out we received a little gift from hotel, a few small local jam jars, how cute is that! All that been said it was quite expensive stay for us, but it was worth every penny! This was very pleasant experience and we would definitely stay there again.

This is a lovely hotel in the Bavarian Alps which we stayed at this summer to see the Passion Play. Sara, the young lady who checked us in was so sweet and helpful. The older lady who took over from her was rather a grumpy soul. If I had met her first I would not have felt so welcome. The hotel is charming, flower boxes on terraces,very clean and inviting atmosphere. Staff other than the grumpy older lady were friendly and helpful. She might have been having a bad day but that's no excuse for sourness when working in that industry. Our room a Double room Deluxe was very spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the mountains. Very convenient hotel for the Passion Play just a short walk with a picturesque pathway down to the theater. Breakfast was good with lots of healthy choices. Would recommend this hotel especially for its lovely Bavarian style.

Although it's 15 mins easy walk from the station it's worth it, because it's in Partenkirchen on a pedestrian street with lovely old painted buildings, shops, restaurants etc. Room was spacious, clean, good shower. Double bed was in fact two single beds pushed together but beds were comfortable. Breakfast generous. Restaurant serves hearty bavarian food and was full of locals - the best recommendation.

This hotel is on the oldest and most charming cobbled street in Garmisch—the photos don’t do it justice. We enjoyed walking up and down the street and to the beautiful church above it. There are also hiking trails going up the mountain in every direction beyond the church. The hotel is clean and the decor is cute and very local. We had a family room on the top floor with a private balcony and a view of the stunning mountains. The breakfast is excellent with freshly made, hot rolls, scrambled eggs and bacon, fruit and yogurt, and traditional German breakfast meats and cheeses. They also had a lovely selection of loose herbal teas and offered us coffee. I love that they have a locked shed for our rented mountain bikes—just beware that you can’t get into the shed until the staff arrives at the front desk at 7:30 am. The town is very quiet at night and it’s such a stunning valley to explore. I highly recommend taking the Cable Car to the Zugspitze and renting a rowboat on Eibsee Lake—it’s only about 15€ for an hour and the lake is stunning and refreshing for a swim on a hot day.

Had balcony with views of the mountains.The window was sound proofed as I discovered when I opened it and heard people talking but not after I closed it.Good selection at breakfast.Restaurant range (after 6 pm) was very good.Before 6 it is a more basic range.It was within easy walking distance from the station.Lots of other restaurants nearby.Their restaurant is closed on Wednesday and Thursdays so I ate at a nearby Indian restaurant.

Sparkling clean… Beyond clean. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included with room rate. It was a fully complete, German breakfast. The location was the best for us. Right in the old town section, a walk from other restaurants and an extremely short drive to the Partnach Gorge. We loved the hotel and hope to be back.

The hotel is located in a picturesque town very close to the mountains. It is very atmospheric and cosy. Our room had a beautiful view from the window. We also enjoyed the breakfast (which was included in the price) and dinner (which wasn’t, but we highly recommend it anyway - especially local beer). The staff was friendly and they spoke English. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed - nice beds, hot shower, a fridge. We definitely recommend this place.

They gave us a room with a balcony for a week. Their adult son was very helpful and friendly. He booked our tickets to Frankfurt for us on the train. He assisted us with our train and bus schedules within the area of Garmisch as well. We had a good coffee machine available and wine and beer anytime. The morning breakfast was delicious and the homemade croissants were amazing! It was a very special place to stay!

Everything was perfect. We were late - hosts said - no problem we can wait you. Whole hotel was amazing. People that hold the property were super nice and helpful about any question we had. Breakfast just perfect. We even got a free tickets so we can look around. Rooms were clean and everything looked fresh and just the way we like it. In one word - perfection! Thanks for having us and sorry for late review!

we loved our stay here. my friend and i came up to ski for a few days and are so glad we stayed at Hotel Garni. it snowed while we were there and we ate breakfast looking out into the backyard filled with snow and it was so peaceful, so beautiful! the family who owns the hotel were so lovely, the breakfast was delicious and the sauna after skiing all day was perfect. they have a room to store your skis and boots, it is such a cute room, filled with so many knickknacks - it feels so homey. the beds were really comfortable, really everything was so lovely

The hotel is located 5mins. from the Farchant train station and 1 train station away from Garmisch - Partenkirschen. It's very accessible if you are commuting. The view from the hotel is breath taking, breakfast is good, clean rooms and hotel gives off a very cozy vibe and the Sauna is a must! But what me and husband really loved about this hotel are the family/staff, they are ALL really sweet, very accommodating and helpful. They genuinely care for their guests and gives helpful suggestions where and what to visit in the are.

One of the best places , I have stayed in a long time . Breakfast was exceptional. We took a room with the mountain view and it was great. We did not use the pool this time due to activities we had planned .

Dinner was good on 2 out of the 3 nights of our stay. Portion sizes were plenty for 4 courses + salad buffet. Table service at both breakfast and dinner was very attentive and friendly. The pool area on the top floor is excellent, warm with mountain views, loads of pool toys and even a swim up bar. Kids enjoyed the play corner in the dining area. Our room was quiet and spacious with a mini kitchenette.

We loved the food quality and variety, both at the buffet and from the menu. We liked the complimentary dessert each day. The pool and sauna area were also well used and convenient. The kids enjoyed the ping-pong and pool tables, as well as the darts and pinball machine in the bar area. Staff, especially our waitress Tina, was very friendly and helpful, even during the rush of New Year's Eve. For the money we think this is a great bargain for the amount of activity and food available.

Absolutely phenomenal lodge. The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated, and cozy. The mattress and pillows were probably the best I have ever experienced in a hotel! Incredibly comfortable bed. Great kitchen with all we needed to prepare dinners. We ordered the breakfast basket one morning and it fed our family of 4 perfectly with all fresh food. On checkout day, we were gifted with raisin bread for the road. We also arrived to a gift of waffles and a personal note. Every special touch was thought of! We enjoyed the fireplace and sauna and infrared sauna too. The garden is pristine and so relaxing to sit and relax in the fresh air. Beautiful view too. I can’t say enough great things about our stay!

We can highly recommend the Alpendomizil Zugspitze. We arrived in a beautifully furnished apartment. And not only the apartment was lovely, also the whole hotel and garden as well. We lacked nothing during our stay, the apartment was well stocked with everything we needed. Small items we could get downstairs for a reasonable price. The breakfast service was excellent; every morning we had all kinds of tasty fresh bread delivered on our front doorstep. The lady at the reception helped us out with the names of good restaurants and we were surprised by a few kind little gifts and personal cards. The location is beautiful, quiet and within a minute of a ski lift. A perfect address in our view and we certainly hope to come and stay here again!

Our stay at the hotel in Garmisch was nothing short of exceptional. The location was perfectly situated, offering convenient access to the town while maintaining a peaceful and serene ambiance. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, ensuring our every need was met with a smile. Every meal we enjoyed was a culinary delight, and the breathtaking views from the property added an extra layer of magic to our experience. This hotel exemplifies excellence in hospitality, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

We are just back from an 8 night stay at Gasthaus Maria. Mr. & Mrs. Thier were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was large, spotlessly clean with an ensuite shower room and a large balcony with table and chairs. The views of the mountains were outstanding. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice ie. fresh fruit salad, fruit, bread, rolls, cold meats, cheeses etc, scrambled eggs, sausages and boiled eggs. Plenty of choice. We usually stay at a 4 star hotel when we visit Garmisch but in future we will stay at the Gasthaus Maria.

The owners were extremely helpful, friendly, discreet and in general very pleasant people. The room was cosy and old-fashioned in the nicest way possible. The view from the breakfast area was so lovely, and a little romantic with the small fireplace next to us. Very decent breakfast and coffee. and also the location wasn't exactly in the center so it was also quiet. Very traditional overall and the exact opposite of a faceless big hotel. We visited in winter and it made the experience so much better.

Excellent, traditional Alpine chalet complete with flower laden windowboxes and mountain backdrop. A real picture postcard. Very quiet residential location in Garmisch approximately 15-20 minutes walk to town centre and 30 minutes walk to rail station, bus station and Zugspitze railway. Very good buffet continental breakfast - rolls, cheese, ham, coffeee, juices etc. included in the price. Ultra clean and excellent facilities, including an indoor conservatory/outdoor terrace for breakfast and a lounge area with a communal fridge. No a/c. or fridge in rooms. Very helpful and hospitable family hosts.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Quiet and comfortable within walking distance to town center church, shops and restaurants. Beautiful mountains all around. Clean fresh air.

You can rent ski equepment from hotel. We found trainer for ski from hotels. Hotel gace free ticket for train or bus. At the and they gaved us naturel mountain salt as a gift.

Perfect way to end a two week road trip - especially on a rainy day. We spent a bit extra for the last day of our two week road trip with two kids 11 & 13. We loved the dinner buffet and breakfast. Spacious dining area with courteous staff. Our family rooms was perfect with the white noise of the adjacent river to send us to sleep in clean, comfortable beds. Best of all was the lovely swimming pool to see out the rain storm and an impressive spa area (sadly only open from 1500). We did the 7km trek around Lake Eibsee before checking in which I would thoroughly recommend.

I loved the fact that this is a traditional Bavarian hotel, with warm friendly service, a large restaurant and warm bar on-site, and the swimming pool was great for exercising and relaxation. My most favorite part was laying in bed with my widows open enjoying the fresh air and listening to the stream that runs by the hotel.

Very good rooms. Very good location. Perfect breakfast. Access to swimming pool and sauna.

We stayed in the the Grand Hotel rather the Sports Hotel as the latter was not available even thought that is where we had booked. It was very welcoming with several drinks on arrival (including champagne). The room was large as was the bathroom and tney were clean and comfortable. It had a good view right down into the street of the old town which is very pretty.

Gentleman at reception was great. Rooms are nice. Beautiful old building maintained to a high standard. Did not have breakfast at hotel, but the Konditorei across the street was perfect for a morning coffee and danish.

We were accomodated in Atlas Grand, sister hotel for Atlas Grand. The rooms were clean with amazing view of snow mountains.

We booked the Atlas Sport hotel but it was closed so they transferred us to Atlas Grand Hotel located in the centre of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Super nice staff, comfortable beds, attentive to our needs as we arrived late after getting a lot of rain and still got us late night dinner!

Our stay at Haus Lermoos was the highlight of our long vacation. If you’re looking for a quiet, super clean room with incredible views and a kind, attentive staff, stay here. My mother, small dog and I had been on the road for a few days now and were looking for some peace and quiet. Tucked away from the main road but close enough to to walk to the main road (2-3min). It was our little haven after returning from hiking and exploring the area. Our room was so clean, beautifully decorated and the perfect size for us. We had a gorgeous Mountain View (I’m pretty sure all the rooms here have great views) and the balcony and chairs outside our room were great for winding down in the evening. The bed and bedding were so comfortable. It seriously made it difficult for us to get out of bed and go adventure. Breakfast was very clean and had a good selection of fresh and dried fruits, meats and cheeses, breads and vegetables. They even remembered our drink order which is always a nice touch. Any interaction we had with the staff (a lovely family) was great. We felt very taken care of. If ever in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here!

The view from our balcony was stunning and so peaceful too. We had the best two nights sleep here. Good coffee for breakfast, eggs and a lovely selection of different fruits set us up for a long day of hiking. The room was spacious and so clean. We had a fabulous stay. Buses not to frequent on the weekend so needed to check times carefully and once walked back from Ehrwald through the meadow which was very easy and pleasant walk

Quiet location off the main road but on walking distance of restaurants, Supermarket etc. Plenty of parking spaces, modern recently renovated room, large balcony and beautiful Mountain View. Friendly staff.

Lusspark was a great location for our one-night stay in Lermoos. We had a large apartment with beautiful mountain views situated just a couple blocks off the main street so it was both convenient and quiet. There was a nice breakfast to start the day and the family staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

Hotel Schillingshof is a lovely Bavarian hotel near Oberammergau. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It has a pool and a very good restaurant. Best of all, the staff is fantastic - lovely, friendly and professional. Richard our host was attentive and made my Happy Birthday celebration very special. An authentic Bavarian gem.

It was perfect for me, exactly what I wanted. The location is amazing. The view is miraculous. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating; Alina at reception, Nana and Sherva(sp?) servers in the dining room and bar. The food is tasty and the breakfast buffet, with a bit of everything, is perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed the saunas and pool. Had I had more time, I would have taken advantage of the gym. Parking is included. There's plenty of parking on the street as well. There are two spots for electric cars. The view from my room was spectacular. My huge double bed was extremely comfortable. This was a nice, well positioned hotel, close to the main Garmisch Partenkirchen station, and the cogwheel station for the Zugspitz. Our room was a good size, including a comfortable seating area, but was very hot, and was occasionally let down by room service (not emptying bin and replenishing the bathroom, etc.). Breakfast was fine, including hot options to order, if required. Pool, sauna and jacuzzi were also nice to have, although the pool was extremely cold to get into

Comfortable stay. Great views of the mountains from the balcony. Very quiet and wi-fi worked well. Only negative was that the indoor pool was not heated and the hot tub was warm, not hot. The breakfast was good, not great and had the same items everyday. But you can special order breakfast items from the waiter, which was nice. The better restaurants were 15 minute walk into Garmisch.

We loved our stay at this charming hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was great, as well as dinner in the dining restaurant. The garden was peaceful green space and we enjoyed having use of pool and hot tub facilities. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back in future.

Even though we could only book 1 night stay in this guesthouse, during our stay in the area, we kept returning to this restaurant.

Very comfortable rooms with a beautiful view of the mountains. Great location for starting a trip into the mountains, and the nature pool was a perfect way to start the day before a delicious breakfast.

The staff was really helpful and friendly, the room was very nice and the pool was nice to make the most of the summer days. Really recommended

Loved staying right on the mountain side! There are a few things located around the hotel dining/hiking which was nice as well. The natural pool was also a highlight. Would definitely come back!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Bayern Resort. The hotel is well maintained, clean and beautiful decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Patrizio the server at breakfast made everyone’s day providing superb service! The room was modern and clean. The only downsides were… 1) The SPA was closing early at 7.30pm which wasn’t described on Expedia or on the Hotels website. As we arrived close to 7pm, we only had 30min after check-in to enjoy it. Would have loved to enjoy it longer as it was a beautiful SPA. 2) The checkout is at 10am which is pretty early and makes you rush with your breakfast. An extension to 11am like other hotels would make it more enjoyable! Other than, there’s nothing to complain about this property! It’s a beautiful resort in a beautiful area and very well maintained by the owners! Definitely recommendable!

But if you are traveling with babies, I suggest bringing your own white noise machine or fan because they do not have any fans. Also, we weren't able to watch the TV because although it is a smart tv, the apps were locked and we couldn't sign into Netflix so we couldn't get anything in English. Not a big deal at all because we weren't in the room much but it is nice to have morning cartoons for my toddler while we get dressed. Overall we loved this place and the walking trail right outside is a little challenging for toddlers but is so beautiful and fun... so worth it!!

This is a really friendly hotel and the staff were cheerful and did everything they could to be helpful. The views are amazing and I liked the location at the top of the town. It is a traditional hotel that will suit those who appreciate a nice atmosphere but may not suit people looking for a loud nightlife. The food is tasty and the hotel were kind enough to keep a dinner for me when I arrived after the kitchen closed!

Unbelievable view over Zugspitze!!! from our room and from restaurant, it is really unique and breathtaking! Super friendly and competent staff, who helped us with all kinds of quesitons. it is only 10 min ride to the Cable car station to the Austrian side of Zugspitze. We enjoyed it fully.

Nice place with historic ambience, traditional interiors and lovely service. The staff was very friendly and polite, much caring and proving all the guidance needed. I found their dinner option with half-board an INCREDIBLE value - fair priced, excellent and modern taste, ultimate quality! Really liked the dinner food a lot. The room was spacious enough for three of us, comfortable beds, nice shower and cosmetics. Windows could be open for a fresh mountain breeze. It is also very quite outside, no noise.

The reception is very friendly. The room is clean, big and cosy. Although it is beside the road, but very quiet. The staffs who serve the breakfast are very friendly and helpful. I will choose it again and recommend it to friends.

Our stay at the Parkhotel Wallgau was absolutely wonderful. The front desk staff and waiters were all extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was extremely comfortable and well appointed. I will highly recommend you to family and friends coming to the area! We chose to spend our first wedding anniversary here and couldn’t have picked a better spot!

We stayed here for the last half of our vacation. This was my wife’s first time in Germany and I wanted her to experience Bavaria as it should be. We were greeted very enthusiastically by the lady at the desk. After giving us the room key, she made sure we knew how to use the elevator and get to our room. The room was very nice. I booked a double room. It had a balcony that overlooked the train station and bus stops. We had a great view of the mountains. As far as dining goes, breakfast is included. The kitchen also serves awesome food for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served seven days a week. The restaurant is closed otherwise on Sunday and Monday for anything else. There is plenty of shopping close by. The entire staff was awesome. From the people at the front desk to the kitchen and those that kept our room immaculate. There is also free parking in the area. We left our car in the DB lot. That cost 28 euros for four days. I was glad to pay it. I could have probably not paid and been fine. I just felt it was the right thing to do.

The location was perfect , walking distance to the city and train . The balcony and the view are absolutely beautiful. Free parking. They even helped us accommodate our switch in dates which was super nice ( due the weather change ) Breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious

The location is the best! You have amazing views of the mountains! You are across the street from the train and bus station, you are a 15 minute walk to the main downtown area, and a 20 minute walk to Ludwigstraße. There are also so many hiking trails close by including a walking trail along the river towards the Parnach gorge. The staff are kind, friendly, and accommodating 🙂. Lastly the restaurant has good food.

The staff were polite and very helpful with our question during check-out. We also arrived a little earlier than check-in time and they checked us in, which was very helpful because we were in a hurry to go on an excursion. Breakfast was varied and hearty, we really liked it. We definitely recommend this hotel.

A warm welcome on my arrival, a beautiful room with a balcony (though it was a little too wet to enjoy it!). Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the chairs and table in the room were a nice place to sit. The breakfast buffet was great, lots of choice. The location couldn't have been more central!

The village is picturesque and you could see the distinctive mountain rock from the room's windows. We had the chance to really enjoy the snow The property is very easy to reach by car and you could park nearly. The accomodation was clean and tidy. The hosting was polite and easily accesible for any question. The breakfast had quality and quantity and the hall was cozy and spacious. The price was very competitive. Highly recommended.

A wonderful location, distinguished by its warm atmosphere and the attention to every detail in both the house and the room. The breakfast was very tasty. Parking was right in the yard, next to the house, which was very convenient and safe. The area itself is beautiful, and it’s truly worth making a stop at this special accommodation.

The bathroom was quite small, but everything was spotless and well-maintained. The whole place smelled fresh and clean, which we really appreciated. A special thanks to the receptionist – she was very kind, helpful, and gave us great tips about the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay just outside the busy center!

We enjoyed everything at Gästehaus Brandnerhof. In fact, this is the second time we stayed there. The first time we were unable to eat at the restaurant, but this time we did. Gästehaus Brandnerhof is by far the best hotel and restaurant we have stayed at. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room is always clean and comfortably warm (winter) and the staff is always the nicest and always attentive. In addition, the restaurant has the most incredible food (steaks, appetizers, etc.) Every meal was delicious! We highly recommend Gästehaus Brandnerhof!!!
