Nice interior of bungalow, lots of thought and effort put in. Seclusion and privacy was fantastic. Lovely size private pool and larger general access pool. Well cared for and maintained.

We got upgraded into one of the villas with private pool and it was really amazing. Spacious and well designed luxury stay. Staff and owner were super friendly and the whole complex is well maintained! Highly recommended. Tiks restaurant is 5 min walking away super tasty and has cheap new scooters to rent!

I've stayed a lot in Khao lak at various properties and this stay was my best. Jo made us feel very welcome and because it was a quiet time we managed to get a room upgrade with a private pool as well. The Villa was perfect, with a nice kitchen with utensils for cooking and breakfast. The bathroom/shower was huge alongside a super comfy bed. The place is quiet as well so perfect for unwinding. The beaches are not far away either.

Beautiful villa right in front of the pool. Modern and very clean. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful. A couple of lovely restaurants nearby. Would recommend exotic boutique hotel 100%.

We loved the privacy of the property, it is well maintained and Joe and his staff are very friendly. We stayed in several different suites and appreciated the uniqueness of all of them. You can notice the attention to detail and thought put into the design. Very clean, we loved the outdoor pools and Jacuzzi suites.

Beautiful accommodation with a large clean infinity pool. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional, try the omelettes and the banana pineapple pancakes, we also ate there in the evening as the food was that good.

Nice, spacious room, comfortabel bed, proper fridge and balcony with great view. Pool is large and quiet, sunbeds enough, poolbar Restaurant also very nice, reasonable prices for food an drinks. Friendly owner and staff. Only 2-3 km from center, we had own car but apparently taxis are easy to arrange via hotel. Massage treatments are available near pool on request. We had a nice time and will come back

We stayed in the private pool villa the outside area was very spacious and completely private and the views from the pool were amazing! Breakfast were big portions and really good and a bonus it was available until 12, the 2 girls serving breakfast were always really friendly. The owner even made a breakfast pack and got up early to give it to us as we needed to leave early for our flight. We can’t wait to come back we just hope nothing changes as it is perfect the way it is!

Best hotel we stayed in on our trip. Stunning villa with incredible views. The pool views are incredible, we had amazing massages right by the pool. The food was outstanding - breakfast all made to order. Lovely staff and just all round beautiful place.

Beautiful, green and clean hotel with a great view of the canopy and the hills. Fon and her staff were great! Very welcoming and friendly. They made our stay very comfortable. The views from our villa were lovely. The room itself is very well maintained and clean. With a private pool and jacuzzi. Completely loved the stay and enjoyed every bit of it. Will definitely book again when we return to Khao Lak!

Location is superb - we relaxed most days by the infinity pool overlooking the ocean! Great restaurants with plenty of choices. Very kind and helpful staff throughout the resort. Noon tidied our room each day and left us surprises made from towels on the bed! She always left our room looking lovely! A great place to stay for a very relaxing holiday!

The kids facilities are great! Very nice place if you come to relax, enjoy the resort with a very nice infinity pool as well. The spa is very nice and the herbal workshop is also nice to make your own herbal inhaler. The staff is very friendly and especially our housekeeper. We like the gym programme a lot. Tai chi is very good. Breakfast area is very nice and a lot of choices.

We stayed here with the kids and the location worked out well for us. It's about 30 minutes from Khao Lak center, which means you get actual quiet instead of the usual tourist madness. The main pool is massive - runs basically the half length of the property down to the beach. We got a family suite right next to the kids' water slide area, which was a smart move because the kids could literally swim from our balcony straight to the play zone. Saved us a lot of walking back and forth to supervise them. They have four different pool areas which makes sense - infinity pool near the beach, the main one with the swim-up bar, then separate zones for kids and toddlers. Means nobody's getting in each other's way. The kids' playground is huge, over 1,000 square meters with indoor and outdoor stuff, so there was always something to keep them busy. Free bikes were handy for riding to the nearby village.

Beautiful hotel complex, with many pools, green areas, children's playground & children's club. Beach wide and clean. Enough sun loungers at the pools and beach. Breakfast buffet and dinner buffet very large, very varied and delicious. Large fitness room. Staff always very friendly and helpful.

The whole resort is quite new and looks beautiful with a big central pool and a smaller pool close to the beach. The rooms are nice, very quiet and have a big balcony. The breakfast is excellent with a lot of choices. There are 2 restaurants, both offer decent thai and international food.

Spent eight days at this delightful hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel is well looked after with a range of beautiful pools, good gym, spacious rooms and instant access to the beach. As we were there before the main season started it was quite quiet which meant we often had the pool to ourselves and no waiting to be served at the bar etc. Excellent value and a great place to stay if you want to relax and pamper yourself.

Santido located in a very unique location of Khao Lak. The rooms are spacious and clean. Food and beverage options are satisfactory however hotel bars closing hours could be extended a bit later then 11 pm. Hotel staff were very pleasent and helpful. The only negative point is all 5 of the hotel pools depth is around 120 cms. At least 1 or 2 of those pools could be deeper for swimmers and offering the option to the hotel guest. Overall we can recommend Sentido to all future holiday makers.

Loved the atmosphere at this hotel because it was so peaceful all the time. The staff were always very helpful and the spa was fantastic. The eating options were good but the room service options were a bit limited. The deluxe pool room suite was perfect because it was great to be able to access the pool and sun bathe from the comfort of your room. The location right by the water was also fantastic and I can't wait to go back!

They didn't have a standard ground floor room available (as I had requested), so kindly upgraded us to a pool access room and provided us with easy access steps to facilitate pool access

We come down every morning to find many beds reserved and dont see people for hours!! The sunbeds by the waterfront already have a note on them not to reserve but nothing by the pools. We wish there was the same policy by the pool chairs. We have left a comment about it today a the hotel.

The pool was amazing, I had a pool access room & it was so great, could just walk straight out of my room into the pool. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The staff were lovely & friendly too, I can’t fault the place.

It's a swimming pool with a hotel attached! The pool is enormous! And there is more than one. We had a poolside room for a couple of days and enjoyed sliding in and out at our leisure. It was really quite private too despite sharing it with our neighbours. The breakfast was pretty good but too although not the best we had in Thailand.

The pool. Public access to and supersize of pool was a true gift and a treat. Private direct access to pool was excellent and the best selling point of the bedroom

I liked the pool area and the long meandering pool which was able to give privacy in he water because of its design. Te staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were large and spacious. There was a large library of holiday reading books, though most were in German. There was a swim-up bar.

Amazing property, amazing pool, area, amazing beach. . The rooms are large, clean and the most comfortable beds we have had in Thailand. The beach was clean as well. This was the nicest resort we have stayed in in years!

Beautifully appointed rooms. Bungalow was huge & couldn’t fault it. Spotless facilities. Pool was huge & always clean. Cleaning & ground staff were very efficient. Disappointed the beach was unkept & not suitable for swimming. Food was good but could be better. Wait staff were nice but could be more proactive & have some basic English. Overall, it is a beautiful resort for pure relaxation.

This is a repeat visit for us. Le Menara is tucked away in North Khao Lak, a little away from the town centre with its own quiet strip of beach heaven. Fantastic location for those looking for a chilled getaway from the bustle of office/city life. Scenery is postcard perfect everywhere you turn. Rooms are spacious and service friendly. For swimming buffs, this one is for you, complete with an outdoors 120m pool one way (that’s more than double the usual Olympic sized pools). Imagine you’re in a lap of luxury amidst Castaway settings (that Tom Hanks movie, for those who know it), and you’re there. Even more notable is their head chef, Mana, at the hotel restaurant, L’Amore. He is an excellent chef, skilled across a range of local and international cuisines. Not only is his technique and execution world class, he consistently delivers wonderful dishes that accompany each other so well. He is also thoughtful, remembers your preferences and is very skilled at tailoring a menu to suit your palate on any given day. We have stayed at various different five- and six-star hotels around the globe and we would seriously return just to eat with him again!! If you visit, help us say a friendly hello to Mana from Amy and James please. Adore this scenic place - more so since they are now equipped with an incredible chef at their restaurant so you’d never have to venture far to get great food! P.S. As with anywhere else in Thailand, bring insect repellent!

Fantastic property with the most amazing pool setup we've ever been too! Initially, we were amazed by the main pool but were blown away by the kid's section with the slides and wave pool! The service is impeccable and everyone is super welcoming. If you're considering this or something else, do yourself a favor and just book a stay here!

The private beach is very relaxing and changes every day based on the weather. The pool is crazy. It is actually a series of pools that nearly connect the entire property. You can't exactly walk out from your room and then swim to the bar, but it's almost possible. Breakfast was delicious. Many options. The breakfast staff are genuinely friendly.

The hotel is set on a beautiful beach. You can walk a great distance without sun beds, shops and noise…just fabulous views and sunsets. The hotel restaurants are lovely, although there are several cheap beachfront places if you don’t want to eat in house. Adults only pools and breakfast options. We swam 45 minutes everyday around the pool that snakes its way around the resort. The town is a 10 minute ride - taxis available at the stand on the beach or via the hotel. Shops and a night market for bags etc but nothing special.

we stayed last year for 3 weeks and chose to take 3 weeks again this year. this hotel has to be one of the best hotels in this price range in the whole world. everything is sublime. the whole area is fantastically well-maintained. the staff is extremely friendly. the restaurants are international world class. tennis, squash, fitness, kids room, the beach, their farm, cycle track, the fantastically beautiful pool, the many pool areas, magnificent breakfast buffet, show in the evening. I could go on. coming again!

Our stay was excellent. We stayed 6 nights with 3 kids. The room was very comfortable and clean. The pool is great and they also have a shallow pool for toddlers. The pool is also very close to the beach so you can walk from one to the other easily with kids. Prices of foods and drinks are reasonable for this kind of resort. The breakfast buffet was very good - it caters to all types of diets, including picky kids :-)

Au, Shane, Tum, Baw, Pal and every single staff of them were just amazing, super helpful and always smiling at the customers. We are a family of 5 (parents with 15y, 13y & 9y). I loved how clean is the room and good space of the resort. Pool time and beach walks were our favorites, it would have been more fun if they had a slide and a deeper pool, but it still amazing.

Amazing location, like that you can choose to be in the sun or shade when in the pool, sitting around the pool or beach. Staff super friendly and helpful

Small resort, easy to get around. The small kids pool right next to the main pool, and all next to the beach. The food was great (we had full board) and waiting time in the restaurant was very low. The staff was super nice and accomodating. The beach was truly amazing.

Medium size boutique hotel but very cozy , clean and nice. Quiet , clean , nice breakfast. Room’s size is wide and comfortable. I recommend to take the room with swimming pool access. The swimming pool connected to room is deep , wide and no people . You get almost private swimming pool 👍

A great resort for a great price. It's isolated but perfect, there are still lots of local restaurants as you walk out of the resort and all set in the beautiful tropical forest. Amazing swimming pool and the rooms with the pool access have a great pool too.

new, well maintained product. gorgeous beachfront. I booked one of the pool access rooms and enjoyed the tub sections. housekeeping are doing a great job. the beachfront pool with the swim up bar offers nice views and great drinks. definitely great value and my new favorite in Khao Lak.

Good place to go to to unwind to relax and have a me alone time with own private beach. I could spend the whole day at the resort without ever feeling bored (a home because the rooms are spacious without the daily chores); breakfast, followed by pool, soaking in the pool, walk along the beach back to pool sipping pina colada/sangria/other cocktails, spa, then short ride to town for dinner. Back to room to enjoy the waves from room balcony. That's Life!

We had a ground level room 607 which had direct access to the pool and pool bar from our room. It was heavenly. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The food was very good. We took advantage of the spa twice while we were there. It was amazing. We were able to hang out at the resort after check out and enjoy the beach and pool and massages before the taxi took us to our dive boat at 4:30pm. Also, shower access if you needed. I wish they had a day pass where we could hang out after our dive trip and enjoy before our late night flight out.

WOW! We had an amazing time here. The rooms are perfect, very big with great shower and the pool access was a nice addition. The beach is perfect and the pools were very nice. The breakfest had a lot of options, and everything was delicious.

Really beautiful setting. The beach is gorgeous. The room was really beautiful- we stayed in the swimming pool access room which was great and had access to the pool bar 😎 The staff were really great and very attentive. The breakfast was delicious and lots of variety. The lunch and dinners were also very nice. We had massages which were very good and I had a facial which left my skin silky smooth 😄

Loved the space, lush greenery and choice of beautiful pools. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Fruit shakes and cocktails were great too. Ate in the restaurant 2 times - both times were fantastic. Happy friendly and helpful staff

Beautiful rooms, beautiful garden (it feels like being in a jungle) , amazing swimming pools and a long beach (the water is not great, but that's everywhere in Khao Lak). If you want a nice beach take a boat/snorkeling trip to the Similan Islands. It's a little far away from Khao Lak village, so it's perfect if you want to be quiet or enjoy some quality time with your family. For 200BHT/day you can rent a scooter anyway if you want to go back and forth to the village. Not so good if you are single and looking for party-time.

The hotel is lovely and grounds are great. Its right on the beach and has stunning sunsets to watch. There are many pools to enjoy and relax at. The rooms are comfortable but a little dated if you stay in a superior style room. The area outside the hotel has a couple restaurants but the few meals I had were just average. There is a fabulous beach cafe just outside the hotel resort along the beach and its a beautiful spot to grab lunch!

The property was well maintained had very good resources for all types of vacationers. There were was the beach for sun bathing and swimming. Also there were pools for families to enjoy. The food was great and there were multiple options for dining inside and outside of the resort. The options for activities were outstanding the elephant trip we really enjoyed. Hans who organized the trips was very helpful and knowledgeable. The staff at the hotel were great they made our stay very enjoyable. My wife is a vegetarian and she had no problem getting great food to eat

Khaolak Merlin Resort is one of the most beautiful resorts we have stayed in. The rooms are nestled amongst an amazing rainforest with water features everywhere. We shared our own free form pool with only a few other rooms. The beach was great for swimming and very clean - much better than anything we encountered in Phuket.

Everything about my stay was beyond loveable. The week's stay was both well located to some fun activities but an oasis where every travel style was catered for. Exciting child's pool and club, adult quiet zoned pool and bars, private and general pool options, a range of eating and restaurant options. Its a spacious property and with a family outdoor wedding, the beautiful beach sunst venue, the staff service and setting was absolutely perfect, making my and all my extended family a trip of a lifetime. Not a negative of any sort from me.

Excellent hotel, perfect location. No need to leave the hotel. There is a solution for everything you could want. From slides for children, inflatables, tubes, a pool for adults, a pool for children, a lifebelt. We took a room with access to the pool - the most perfect thing we could ask for! An extraordinary experience, the staff goes out of their way, very helpful and courteous

The hotel is a large resort but still there was plenty of space around to not feel too crowded. The fact that the kids pool area was a separate pool area made a huge (positive) impact. And having a pool area for adults only was great. The beach is only a few steps away and the shops and restaurants a short walk from the hotel. One could also use the hotel's own taxi service to get into town for a small expense. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The bed was supercomfy.

Beautiful beach front resort. The beach is lovely and fairly clean, but also great to have the pool overlooking the beach (some jellyfish in the ocean so pool was often preferable). Plenty of pool/beach front chairs. Great breakfast, loved the beachfront restaurant/bar. Our room was clean, big and comfortable. We were there over Songkran, the staff put on some lovely festive and fun activities which was great to be a part of

Fantastic access to the beach and the pools were great. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were so kind and friendly. The family villa with pool was perfect for the children and the options of the other pools onsite were brilliant.

The sea is flat and perfect for (small) children. The beach is beautiful. Main pool is nice and open till 7, that allows you to enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the pool. The pool itself needs more attention. The room is clean, big and nice. The glass front to the bathroom a bit weird. King size bed is comfortable. Cleaning staff does a good job! The elephant home is in walking distance.

Pool villa was very nice. Breakfast always good, nice selection. Very clean resort, constant maintenance to gardens etc. Pools were immaculate and plenty of loungers etc. Beach was lovely - huge, quiet & sandy. Staff very friendly & always give you a smile. Beach bar was great, super staff & lovely drinks.
