We had an amazing time at this resort. The staff and amenities were fantastic. The outdoor infinity pool was incredible (we went there everyday after skiing), the indoor pool and hot tub was also perfect and relaxing. We ski in/out could not be easier and the ski rental (IfenSport) was only steps away from the hotel entrance. One of the best ski in/out resorts we have ever stayed at. All this with ski passes that are 1/3 the cost of skiiing at US resorts. Also, amazing food. All in all, we had an amazing time and hope to come back again in the future!

The amazing view from the infinity pool! Breakfast was buffet-style (other options were available for dinner as well) and offered a wide variety of choices. For dinner, we chose the 3-course menu option, which changed every night, offered great dishes, and was served by the friendly staff. The hotel is very spacious, yet it feels cozy. The on-site parking garage was also a big plus! The room was nice, with a comfy bed, a balcony, and a minibar.

We enjoyed so much our stay at Travel Charme Ifen Hotel Kleinwalsertal, in such an enchanting and peaceful place. The rooms, the marvellous infinity pool, the organization, we can say, perfect! But a special thanks goes to Mr George Castel-Branco, with a rare kindness, ready to help with an uncommon professionalism, that let us go away smiling and less sad leaving that wonderful place.

Wir haben die Woche im Kleinwalsertal genossen und das Hotel hat sicherlich dazu beigetragen. Sehr schön eingerichtetes Hotel mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten. Bei einigen Punkten waren wir für ein 5 Sterne Hotel ein bisschen überrascht. Beim Abendessen gab es nur an ausgewählten Abenden ein Saladbuffet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit aber konnte zum Teil kein Deutsch. Wir hatten zeitweise auch den Eindruck, dass es von der Anzahl eher an der unteren Grenze sich bewegte. Bei den Geräten im Fitnessraum hätten wir uns mehr erwartet aber das hätten wir im Vorfeld auch besser abklären können. Der Fitnessbereich samt Infinity Pool machte Eindruck.

Wir waren in den letzten Jahren schon sehr oft in diesem Wellnesshotel und sind auch dieses Mal wieder sehr glücklich und zufrieden gewesen. Das Hotel, der Wellnessbereich, der große Poolbereich und auch die gesamte Umgebung lassen sofort Urlaubsgefühle aufkommen. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

The restaurant was excellent with great choices and very reasonable prices. Wonderful breakfast as well. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were ever in that area gain. Thank you Martin.

The staff at this hotel were very welcoming and friendly. My room looked as if it had been updated within the past couple of years, was very clean, comfortable, and was well lit. I appreciated the location, just off the main road at the end of the path to the Holzgau suspension bridge. Dinner was very good! I sat outside on the large patio with enough seating for about 25-30 people without feeling cramped. For breakfast I had an assortment of meat and cheese with fresh bread and coffee.

Gasthaus Dorfstube is located in a center of a picturesque village Holzgau. The host Martin was very helpful and all staff was very friendly. The room under the roof was newly renovated and beds were very comfy. The restaurant had a good dinner menue. The hanging bridge was in a reasonable walking distance. There are many hiking routs near there. We liked the one with the numerous short tunnels and breathtaking views into the canyon. It started 2 km away from Holzgau on parking lot Stockach.

Great location , bus stop virtually meters away . Super clean, lovely modern rooms , traditional Austrian feel , excellent restaurant, had an amazing dinner . Staff were prompt , welcoming and engaging , a table at the restaurant had already been booked for us on the night we stayed so we wouldn’t miss out . Had special room to put hiking boots in to dry after hiking , everything planned and thought thru, just excellent

Dorfstube is a nice and well maintained boutique hotel in the beautiful village of Holzgau. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable. The view is fantastic. Furthermore the restaurant of the hotel offers good quality typical food. We have enjoyed our short stay a lot. A special thank you to the friendly and hospitable landlord.

Everything spotless. A very good bed (rarely slept so well on holiday), good breakfast (lots of choice), plenty of parking and the nearby ski area of Warth is not far and easy to reach. We loved that the hotel provides free public transport in the region. Sebastian and the rest of team definitely made our stay that much more enjoyable! They were so welcoming and friendly and just brilliant at their job. The rooms were a great size with amazing views from the back by and all the windows. They were also really soundproof, did not hear a door close or anyone in the hallway the whole time. The shower/bathroom was a good size. Tv had casting which was great considering all the tv channels were mostly in German which we didn't speak. The breakfast was delicious. And we stayed in for cocktail night on Friday night which was sooo tasty!

The Hotel has an amazing view to the mountains and it has a modern and classic feel at the same time. The room had a bath tub and the balcony was very spacious. The breakfast was a buffet with different regional cheese and bread. If you are looking to relax after a mountain walk in a whirlpool and sauna, this is the perfect spot to book your stay.

Absolutely enjoyed the stay! The overall atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The spa area was simply amazing! The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also great, with good coffee. I 100% recommend this place!

The hotel was very easy to find, and the parking was for free! The receptionist was super kind and always there to help us. We really liked the room. The room had the enough space with a nice balcony & the wide panorama mountain view. The bed and the pillows were perfect! Sauna was very nice and calm. It was really nice that towels were there for free! The breakfast was amazing. Many hotels had limited selections and everyday exactly the same, but bichl 761 had a nice variations with some differences everyday. We’ll definitely come back if the room is available when we go snowboarding & skiing in Allgäu!

When we use to return to our rooms after visiting the village we always found the room spotless. But the highlight of this holiday was the staff. At Kuehberg I felt like home, safe and pampered. The hotel is located in a beautiful area, surrounded by mountains. The place is perfect if you like hiking, visiting nearby cities or just to chill out. The food was delicious and we loved that the dinner had four courses so we could try many different dishes. The people were nice and helpful. Definitely recommmended

Freistil Boutiquehotel is a little gem, beautifully located in the quiet nature, not far from Sonthofen and Oberstdorf and allowing beautiful walks and cycle rides in the immediate vicinity. Rooms are large, with nice facilities, good bedding. There is a large inside swimming pool, sauna, all very nice. And in particular the breakfast and dinners were delicious, fresh and made with lots of love. I really recommend.

The rooms are very comfortable, the cuisine is delicious and the breakfast varied, generous and delicious. The indoor pool was a treat.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. Situated in a lovely village back from the main road. Breakfast was superb. The village had a number of small restaurants and the nearby hotel had a great bar that welcomed non guests.

We liked staying in Panorama. Very friendly and helpful owners, comfortable room and good breakfast. The only thing was minus for us a very hard matras for double bed but it’s a matter of personal preference indeed .

Kann mich nur sehr positiv über unseren Aufenthalt äußern. Anlage ist nagelneu und Familiengeführt, was man auch merkt. Es steckt viel Herzblut in der Anlage. Hatten eigentlich nur für eine Nacht gebucht und sind dann spontan länger geblieben. Appartement Anlage ist schön gelegenen, etwas abseits der Hautverkehrsstrasse. Parkplätze sind genügend verfügbar. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und klasse Blick in die Berge, kann das nur jedem empfehlen. Anlage ist nagelneu, alles sehr hochwertig verbaut. Appartement hat alles was das Herz begehrt, von einer kleine Einbauküche mit Spülmaschine, Herd, Kühlschrank usw. ein sehr bequemes Bett und ein modernes Bad. Im Haus gibt es einen großen Aufzug sowie eine Sauna und eine Art Lounge wo man zusammen sitzen kann bei einem Glas Wein. Der Ort Holzgau hat auch einiges zu bieten, gut geeignet zum Fahrrad fahren, Fahrräder kann man im Ort leihen. Außerdem dem gibt es eine begehbare Hängebrücke über eine 100 Meter hohe Schlucht, die Brücke ist gut 200 Meter lang. Desweiteren gibt es in der Nähe noch einen Wasserfall

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist zentral in Holzgau und vom Ambiente, Design und Interieur schwer zu übertreffen. Selten so gut gewohnt! Ansprechpartner sind vorhanden, Fragen wurden prompt geklärt und eine hervorragende Gastfreundschaft! Auch die Standardauswahl des Frühstücks ist bestens! Klare Empfehlung und wenn’s passt komme ich wieder - meinen Geschmack voll getroffen.

Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen, zu unserer Überraschung erhielten wir noch eine Bergbahnkarte und Vergünstigungen für die Freibäder. Sauna vor Ort war ebenfalls inkl. Das Frühstück im Körbchen war perfekt. Unkomplizierte und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Das Appartement war sehr schön, stimmig in jedem Bereich. Ebenfalls Kinderfreundlich, wir kommen bald wieder.

The hotel has a good location. The room was clean and modern. The room had a full-size hairdryer. We arrived later than the stated check-in time, but thanks to the manager’s instructions, we were able to check into the room on our own without any trouble. The housekeeping staff kept the room clean every day.

The room comes with an adventure card that gives you free access to multiple cable cars on the mountains and the bus that goes up and down the valley, a real gem of a benefit. The breakfast is expensive, as others have mentioned, so we found other options down the street (Der Gusto Feur Stein for 8 euros), but we had the restaurant breakfast the last day, and it was very very good. There were 4 egg choices, 4 meat choices, cheeses, lots of breads, liquids, fruits. I wouldn't eat there every day because of the expense, but it was great for a special treat. We ate dinner once in the restaurant, very nice. Loved that there is an elevator so you can wear yourself out hiking around the mountains and then ride to your room.

The breakfast was great We had the bigger room which also meant that we had a great big wrap-around terrasse. The restaurant was reasonably priced and made great food

I liked the ambience of the room. It was clean and all the things I needed was there. The breakfast buffet was also super and there were a lot of options to choose from. At night i was able to enjoz the indoor pool as I was alone and felt like i owned the place.

We liked being a few klm away from Oberstdorf in a more rural setting. Our comfort room in the annexe had a nice seating area and balcony. Swimming Pool had good covered access from the annexe. Restaurant had nice views and good food. Free local buses.

It's very convenient for people who come there by train since they have basic supplies for breakfast and the rest can be purchased from the nearby grocery shops. Drinks are also available for purchase from the property for a very reasonable price.

The property was well maintained. Our apartment was warm and spacious. We really liked the starter pack that we booked that was in our fridge waiting for us. Also we had fresh bread delivered every morning. It was a 5 minute walk to the town and a 10 minute walk to the rail and bus station. Also a short walk to the bus that took you to the main ski lift at Fellhornbahn.

Beautiful and perfect place. Everything we needed was there. The owner put even a bath for a baby. Location was perfect. Everything was very clean. We will definitely come back.

What a fab family run hotel nestled in the mountains of Oberstdorf. Even had a pool that we could use anytim day or night. The staff were sooooo friendly and we sat up at the bar chatting to them after our meal. Which was lovely and great value

Nestled in the mountains, we had the most amazing views! our room had 180 degrees views of the mountains, a great terrace with lounge chairs, and so peaceful - best sleep I've had in years. The spa looks small but actually has everything - pool, infrared sauna, regular sauna, steambath. The pool is actually open 24/7, the infrared sauna also, the other saunas from the afternoon onwards. The breakfast was not only rich in choice, but had the products of the highest quality - local butter, smoked salmon, bavarian breakfast wurst - really tasty and enjoyable. the staff was very helpful, and and everything was very clean - probably the cleanest hotel I have ever seen.

Our friends paid for us to stay overnight in this hotel as a wedding present while they babysat. From the welcome we had on arrival to the level of service all the way through the stay we could not fault this. In particular, dinner was excellent. Great value @ 23euros for a 5-course dinner. Quality of the food was great and from a service point of the view, the maitre d' was pleasant and courteous and one of the family members made their way round all the tables asking people how they were enjoying their stay - something you don't get in a standard hotel. The bedroom / furnishings etc were top notch with plenty of towels and nice toiletries. We also got a complimentary lift pass and parking permit in Oberstforf which came in very useful. We used the pool but not the sauna. The pool - though quite small was clean and well maintained. All in all a very enjoyable stay & would recommend this hotel.

We came from Israël to celebrate our vacation in the beautiful Algauer Alps in hotel Nebelhornblick in Oberstdorf. This hotel has a wonderful location with view on the Mountain Nebelhorn and surrounded mountains. The valley is so romantic . We had a very large tasteful decorated room , with balcony and amazing view . All people that work in this hotel want to make you happy , everyone is kind . The food is excellent, with nice variety , good quality and quantities. The whole hotel is nicely furnished , silent , has a fabulous spa with pool . In the summer season all the cable lifts and bus transport is including the price . There is a large free parking lod. WE HAD OUR BEST VACATION EVER ♥️♥️

This is a great little hotel in the heart of the city center. Close to everything and very walkable. We were able to walk to the bus station that took us to the ski lifts and received a free bus pass from the hotel. We loved the friendly staff, especially Michael. He is warm and helpful with a fun sense of humor... he made our stay amazing and was very attentive and thorough with great suggestions. We loved all of the little unexpected perks of staying in this hotel.

I stayed here for a couple of nights in January and also stayed here a few years ago. The hotel is right in the centre of the town on the main square. The 4 star rating is apparent in every aspect of the hotel. There is a large café/restaurant on the ground floor and also a spacious lounge area with free Wi-Fi. The room was very comfortable and included a mini-stereo system with CDs. Wi-Fi in the room was charged via a Hotspot so it’s better to sit in the lounge downstairs and enjoy it for free. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of hot food, cereals, breads, cheeses and cake treats. The restaurant was a little expensive for my budget for an evening meal, but during the day it was an excellent place to enjoy a drink. The hotel also offers free tickets for the local cable cars as part of the booking. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again if I return to Oberstdorf.

Overall everything was perfect great location walking distance to everywhere in the town and breakfast was great and especially the staff was helpful, super friendly I love this place

Beautiful hotel. Right in the center of Oberstdorf. Rooms very clean and modern. Toiletries and hairdryer available. Breakfast was very nice and the lady in the restaurant was so welcoming. We arrived after 4pm due to a long motorcycle journey but had clear instructions on how to find the keys etc. Very close to everything, shops , restaurants and bars. The town is just stunning. Parking at the back of the hotel was very good and secure.

I stayed at Sascha's Kachelofen for skiing. Everything was perfect! A variety of breakfast, lovely decoration, tidiness, and large space of the room, location of the hotel, staff...! Special thanks to the friendly lady at the breakfast and the gentleman at the reception! I will definitely stay here when I come again to Oberstdorf! Thank you!!

Staff were friendly and spoke English well which was so helpful.. The hotel is beautiful and immaculate and my room had a beautiful view and was spotless - I really enjoyed my stay.. I also ate there and the food was delicious, my favourite was the breakfast - there was fruit salads, fry up food including boiled eggs and all sorts of breads cheeses and cold meats and tasty jams and pastries, cereals, coffees, tea and fruit teas.. I will be back to say for sure.

This hotel is good value for money for families traveling with children. The food (breakfast and dinner included in the price) is plentiful and excellent and the hotel has good pool, sauna and fitness facilities, as well as activities and food choices especially for children. It is well-located in relation to the charming town centre of Bad Hindelang. We had a lovely view of the surrounding mountains and our apartment was comfortable and very quiet. Two negatives were the very hard beds, though the maids provided extra padding on request, and the fact that unusually (for this international traveller) the hotel does not accept non-EC card credit card payments.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is clean and modern, the room was very tastefully decorated and was spotless. The room consisted if a kitchen come living room, a toilet and a double bedroom, it also had a balcony, which I think all rooms have, lovely view from the balcony of the mountains. A nice restaurant for evening meal and breakfast. The weather was lovely when I stayed, and to sit out at the front of the hotel with a few beers and the beautiful view of the mountains was very nice indeed. Situated in a quiet spot of Bad Hindelang it was very relaxing. Staff were excellent. This hotel suited me for exploring the alps and I done a superb round trip into Austria and back through the beautiful Oberjoch pass, Haldesee, Elmen, Holzgau, Warth all the way back around to Bad Hindelang. The only negative for me is the unstable wi-fi ....... maybe I'm being unreasonable to expect perfect wi-fi in such a location. Something a bit trivial, I think this is the first hotel I have stayed in where the floor was not saturated after a shower, a shower cubicle that works, about time.

I can’t say enough positive things about this hotel. All the staff were amazing. The rooms were clean and the view was amazing with mountains all around. I didn’t realize when I booked that my room had separate sitting area with a small table for eating and a kitchen. I didn’t stay long enough to utilize the kitchen and with so many great restaurants in the area, I’m not sure if I would’ve used the kitchen. I would definitely stay there again.

The breakfast was very good. It was close to the ski lifts. We loved our room upgrade but it could have been renovated like the rest of the hotel. The bar-chef Lady (forgot her name) was AMAZING !!!!!

Very nice hotel with a spa and great views over the valley and the Alps, in plain contact with nature although close to the road and therefore well communicated. The owner, Steffen and his family members - Maximilian and Eva made the extra effort to build rapport with us. They made us feel so welcome at the hotel. They even had a free 'gluhwein' session outside the hotel for all the hotel guests on the evening we arrived. Steffen was so sweet and gifted us a bottle of 'gluhwein' when we complimented how tasty his homemade 'gluhwein' was. Such a lovely man ! Besides that. the room, sauna, breakfast and dinner were excellent!

The staff at the hotel were lovely, very friendly. The apartment was perfect, clean, warm, well-equipped and modern. Breakfast was great - eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Our dog was very happy too as it is a dog-friendly hotel (and town).

This is definitely a place we loved. It is a gem for people that are highly sensitive like me. The rooms are very quiet, in the restaurant the acoustics are good so that your senses are not completely overwhelmed after a meal. We really enjoyed breakfast and the buffet on Saturday evening. The hotel is family-run and the staff is very friendly in a way that feels very natural.

The room was spectacular! We had a wonderful view and patio. The wellness area was a huge bonus…so nice to go relax on the rocking loungers and we throughly enjoyed the sauna and steam room. The best thing was the food!! I had the venison in the cream sauce and it was amazing!!!

We greatly enjoyed the accommodation. It was well maintained, clean. The shower and bathroom were excellent. The only complaint was that Wi-Fi didn't work upstairs. The grocery store on the first level was quite convenient. Having your own parking spot in the underground garage was a plus. You are in a short walking distance to two lifts.

We stayed in a 2-bed, 2-bath apartment. It was generally well-equipped with essential kitchen appliances. The in-room sauna was a plus. Service was great with friendly and helpful reception staff. With the hotel being pet friendly, though, I found the level of cleanliness being less than ideal. A fair bit of animal hair was found on the couch.

Everything was amazing. Great view, Sauna and Balkon.

Nice accommodation near one of the ski slopes. Very spacious, split level although would be nice to have a toilet on the lower floor where the living and kitchen is located. Supermarket just downstairs, very convenient. Near a number of nice eateries within short walking distance. Offered a discount voucher for ski rentals etc nearby.

Schules is a traditional German health resort on the edge of Oberstdorf. It is worth the stay here just for the Alps view, the rural character, the breakfast on the beautiful terrace and the charming staff.

Friendly staff and comfortable room. The breakfasts were superb. The centre of town is a short pleasant walk and for further afield the bus stops outside the hotel. I would have liked a better selection of toiletries in the bathroom and facilities to make a hot drink.

Das Hotel ist modern eingerichtet und hat einen super SPA-Bereich. Gute Lage für Wandertouren - Busstation ist auch direkt vor der Tür. Der Service ist gut; auch wenn es wie an den Feiertagen etwas voller war. Weil es ein großes Hotel ist, wird es dann zum Frühstück etwas unruhig.

Everyone from the staff was genuinely friendly. The spa was lovely and there is a "women only" section with a big terrace where one can read a book in the quiet. The gym was nice and well aired unlike most hotel gyms which end up in the basement. There were yoga classes during the week which I missed but will try to catch next time. The food was great and the breakfast buffet had many options... the location is perfect - central while quiet and just a few min from the cable car...

More than happy with the stay. Very friendly staff. The hotel is in a great location, with a balcony facing the mountains. The room was comfy and clean. The facilities (sauna, swimming pool) were all available and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was very tasty. One of the best hotel experiences I've had so far.

The breakfast had a great variety and the dinner was marvelous! The quality and flavor was one of a kind! The staff was very friendly and always checking if we needed something else. Our room (111) was exactly as in the pictures. For us it was the first time that we were traveling with our baby and we felt very welcome in the hotel. We also like that there were other families with babies so we did feel misplaced. Unterjoch is a very small town but there a lot of hikes and the surroundings are very nice.

A piece of heaven - we had a truly wonderful stay. A lovely welcome, the room was great with its fantastic mountain views. Sitting on that balcony we totally chilled looking at the wonderful vista. We dined in on both evenings - the menu covered local and international fare and was great value. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We chose the location because the hotel was dog friendly. It is in a really small typical Alpine village. We made use of the Tourist Travel card given to us at check-in. The card was free and provided local discounts.

A very cosy atmosphere as a family home in the interim. The breakfast was very nice and the family who own it also. It's got a nice view that overlooks the mountains, It's very close to some ski resorts and has a nice wellness and sauna area for downtime after. The owners very kindly accommodated our request also.

Dejlig saltvandspool til at køle sig ned med. Skønt med frugt og vand samt te til fri afbenyttelse ved spa/pool området. Godt for børn og voksne. Skønt værelse, god rengøring og service. Meget smilende og hjælpende personale. Værelserne ud til vejen formoder jeg kan have en del støj fra forbikørende biler, især tidligt på morgenen. Så bed evt om et værelse væk fra hovedvejen, hvis det er et issue for dig. gode parkerings muligheder, udenfor hotel, og neden under i garangen.

Trotz später Ankunft im Oberstdorf, hat mich jemand vom Hotel am Bahnhof abgeholt. Der Wellnessbereich ist traumhaft, morgens um 7 Uhr konnte man aus dem Pool den Sonnenaufgang über den Bergen genießen. Und im Anschluß das reichliche Frühstücksbüffet genießen. Obwohl ich nur eine Nacht Aufenthalt hatte, hat es mir dieses Hotel angetan und ich würde immer wieder kommen.

Ruhige Lage mit schönen Blick draussen, sehr tolle Pool und Wirpool. Man kann sich richtig entspannen.

A great hotel, a bit outside of Oberstdorf. But there is a bus right outside the hotel. It takes only a couple of minutes - and you get a card from the hotel - so no charge. Huge breakfast buffet, lovely staff and a really nice spa area. The hotel bar was also great. The only minus was that my room was in a corner and the amazing view from the balcony was a bit blocked.

The Sonneck is a gorgeous typical German Gasthof nestled at the top of the village. Fantastic views over the village to the mountains and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were amazing. Breakfast was spot on. They have laundry services which is a nice touch.

Nur das Herausradende, was uns sehr gefallen hat: Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter/innen. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Toller neuer Saunabereich zum relaxen. Und es nicht zu vergessen: Die Bad Hindelang Plus Card, die den Aufenthalt vor allem hinsichtlich der Seilbahnpreise kalkulierbarer macht. Wir waren zwar im "Januarloch" in Bad Hindelang und damit sind nicht zwingend alle Geschäfte geöffnet. Aber kulinarisch hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Empfehlenswert das Café Polite, das fußläufig vom Hotel aus in 10 - 15 Fußminuten gut zu erreichen ist und das Restaurant Wiesengrund (ca. 20-25 Fußminuten), das regelmäßig abends Musikbegleitung zum Essen anbietet. Für uns war es ein gelungener und erholsamer Aufenthalt!

This hotel was so charming, the staff the food the location it was amazing. If you want a true Bavarian Alps experience this is it and it's only 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village. I felt like I was in Heidi the movie! It was so quintessentially Bavarian, right down to the brass band and goats! I'll definitely be back!

The location was perfect. The facilities and the level of comfort at this hotel was great. The room was lovely and spacious and was cleaned every day by the wonderful house keeping staff. The gym and pool area were wonderful too. The breakfast buffet and the hot choices available were varied and the breakfast staff were also very helpful and attentive.

Fantastic hotel, just a lovely place to stay. Great room, really comfortable bed, super balcony, wonderful breakfast, very friendly staff. Terrific sauna / wellness area in the basement, even on a hot day it was super nice as it is cool down there! I didn't take up the offer of the 5 course meal in the evening as a solo traveller but reception was kind enough to recommend a great Italian / pizza place ( Ai Quattro canti ) close by, was superb! The pianist / singer in the bar when I returned in the evening was also fabulous......very glad I stayed here!

I was given a bus card with which I could use buses for free, it was convenient to get to ski lifts. Many bars and restaurants are only 5-10 minutes away on foot.

Very nice location close to the centre of the village, shops, restaurants and cable car to the mountains. The owners are very friendly, they provide all information about the region. The room was large and comfortable with the amazing views to the mountains. Also the premium travel card was available for me that allowed free local buses and six different cable cars to the mountains. I was very happy with my stay and would definitely come back again.

The breakfast is everything you like and need! Very good The rooms are cosy, clean and quiet. Super friendly family.

A very very nice Hotel in touristic Bad Hindelang Germany. I was there very early, 9.30 but the room was ready, a warm welcome with a cup of coffee. The room was very nice, the bathroom was just renovated and was super! Breakfast was included and was great. Dinner is great at a fair price. It's just 10 minutes from the skiresort Oberjoch. Skipass is included! I will definitely come back here!!

Great location with facilities that met our requirements as parents of a 6 month old baby. It was warm, quiet and clean with a great view and location. Would love to visit again.

We stayed in the Obere Weis chalet in Vorderhindelang and it was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and well equipped. Loved the wooden design and the views are outstanding. We appreciated the guest card - shame it wasn’t the plus card which would have allowed more free tickets.

We had a great meal on a Monday evening when many local restaurants have their Ruhetag. The menu is extensive and the portions are very generous. Prices are also very reasonable. Service was prompt and friendly.

Ich war für ein paar Tage die Gegend dort erkunden. Das Hotel liegt strategisch sehr gut als Einstiegspunkt für Touren in alle Richtungen. Der Preis für das Einzelzimmer geht völlig in Ordnung! Nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück. Und ganz toller Wellnessbereich (allerdings nicht jeden Tag im Sommer offen)! Eigentlich ein Geheimtipp für eine Stippvisite im Sommer... Leider hat das Restaurant im Sommer geschlossen, d.h. abends muss man sich etwas bewegen. Hat mich aber nicht gestört. Ich habe dafür die Ruhe im Hotel genossen!

Das Hotel liegt direkt unterm Widderstein. In 5 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto in Warth oder zu Fuß zum Essen und trinken an der Jägeralpe. Es erstrecken sich einige Wanderwege direkt vom Hotel aus, geschweige denn von der Umgebung aus. Der Wellnessbereich ist mit zwei Saunen, einer Infarotsauna und einem Dampfbad nicht schlecht ausgestattet. Das Panoramakino ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Das Appartement ist wirklich schön modern im Bergstiel eingerichtet.

I liked its location and my refurbished room with a modern bathroom. I also liked the exceptional breakfast with a wide variety of breakfast items available for guests. The cheese board was one of the best I have come across on my travels.

Everything about our stay here was exceptional. Excellent value for a quality bed and breakfast 3 night break. Easy to reach with a regular bus service from Sonthofen train station, with the bus stop just around the corner. All other positive reviews sum it up perfectly. The effort from the owners is clear to see in the attention to detail on every level. They even gave us a lift to our next hotel in the next village! We couldn’t fault it and hope to be back one day. Thank you Family Giesen!

Een fantastische kamer met balkon en mooi uitzicht op de bergen, prima bedden, alles zeer schoon, en een ontbijtbuffet zo gevarieerd en veel welke wij nog nooit tegen kwamen in onze vakantie, de eigenaren zeer vriendelijk wat ons doet besluiten hier terug te keren! Good value for money. This might be because I chose a room without balcony, something I regretted as I stayed a week and a balcony would have been nice. For me, the concept of servicing the room on demand is ok.

Brilliant little hotel. No issues at all, host couldn’t have been more helpful, I booked the wrong room and they were very accommodating giving us a bed for the floor etc.

You can't get more central than this house. Apt was unbelievably clean and well stocked. Balcony had superb views. Beds are very comfortable. Plenty of space for a family of 5. Fresh water machine and beer cooler was a bonus. Suana was well kept and impressive. I have nothing bad to say. We loved this stay. Would come back. The bus passes and ski lift (gondola) passes that came with the stay- offset the tourist tax and parking fee. Walk out of the front door and right into the hustle and bustle of town.. but you can't hear it from the room. We were very happy here. The added little treats of salt/pepper/sugar and coffee filters in the drawer helped in a pinch.

The apartment is within walking distance of everything from the bus station, a variety of shops and restaurants, and the Nebelhornbahn. The view of the snow-capped mountains in the morning from the balcony could not have been any better. Since I traveled to Oberstdorf right after work from Frankfurt, the key pick up was coordinated due to my later arrival. The property manager lived en route to the apartment, so it was no inconvenience at all. She went over everything I needed to know about the apartment and the immediate area and to my surprise she informed me that check-out was at anytime I wanted to leave. And she made herself available on WhatsApp, which was really kind of her to do.

Excellent arrangement for collecting keys, Christa was extremely helpful.

The location is close to the city and the room is very clean yet very comfortable with the architecture of wood. The breakfast is excellent with the best service ever. I would like to recommend this hotel to friends and families.
