Staying at The Yeatman is like gaining access to a secret club; you’ll feel like royalty. The facilities are fabulous, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the view is unfeasibly lovely, especially from the infinity pool. Oh, and the best restaurant in Porto is right there on site.

The facility was exquisite, best views of the city of Porto. Food was great and staff vey helpful and polite. Infinity pool both indoor and outdoor was amazing I also used the gym and it was super clean. I had a fantastic stay

We love the Yeatman! This is our third time and we plan to keep coming back. The hotel is beautiful, very grand and well maintained. There are stunning views over the river and the bridge. The indoor and outdoor pools are both immaculately clean and well maintained. The pool loungers are comfortable and generally in good supply. Clean towels are always available. The pool bar is great for food and drink, although rather expensive. You pay for the privilege of eating lunch by an infinity pool with stunning views! Staff are always helpful and mostly speak good English. The rooms are very large and clean, with very big comfortable beds. Good soundproofing from other rooms. Breakfast does not have a particularly large selection but everything is fresh and well prepared. There are lots of fruits, salads, breads, cereals, omelettes made to order and hot food eg sausages and bacon. There are also luxury items like caviar, fresh honeycomb and champagne. Rooms are equipped with kettles and fridges - request fresh milk if you like to drink tea. Overall we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this hotel, especially for couples or other adult travellers. Also good for solo travellers, very safe and welcoming. It probably isn’t ideal if you are travelling with small children as there isn’t much for kids to do and the facilities all have a pristine air to them that doesn’t feel very child friendly! Although there were some children there so it’s it as if they’re not welcome.

Amazing view looking across the river to Porto. Very comfortable rooms. Walking distance to Taylor's port lodge. Outdoor pool was a little chilly but indoor pool was very warm. Food and drinks were very good. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Parking was 20 euro's per night.

the view is spectacular, but the whole place is perfect. during winter you can enjoy the indoor pool, the bar and the spa. sooo relaxing. during warm months the outdoor pool.

My wife & I stayed here with friends for a long weekend to visit Porto. The hotel is in a good situation . Close enough to the old town but not too close so you get too much noise. The hotel is well appointed & is very clean . The staff are all wonderful and really went out of their way to make our stay a good one. Attentive but not to the degree it becomes intrusive. There is a nice infinity pool but more for cooling off than doing lengths . We would all definitely stay here again ! Thankyou

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location is ideal, with a stunning view that you get to enjoy every morning from the perfectly positioned infinity pool and restaurant terrace. The pool itself was the perfect temperature—very refreshing and relaxing. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering us great tips that led us to some of the best restaurants in town. The welcome process was smooth and warm, making us feel relaxed from the start. Our room was upscale, comfortable, and high quality—everything felt thoughtfully designed and well maintained. The food and drinks were also top-notch, with great attention to both flavor and presentation. Overall, a beautiful and memorable experience. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay during trip to Porto. The location and view from pool and breakfast balcony were phenomenal. Lunch was also excellent with creative menu. There are a few minor but important things the hotel can sharpen up on given 5 star; poolside service during the day could be improved, the soft cushions around the pool area need to be cleaned more frequently, the service was nice but super slow for lunch, and randomly the toilet flushes needed fixed / replaced.

Very beautiful hotel with a slightly removed location from the hustle and bustle of Porto, but very accessible at a 15-20 minute walk from the city center. The pool and outdoor restaurant overlook the Douro River and Gaia region. The rooms are well-furnished with clean and modern amenities, and room service was prompt and professional. The breakfast buffet was very good. Would not recommend eating at the restaurant for dinner, as there are many nearby restaurants with cheaper and more authentic cuisine, but the ambiance and service were both excellent regardless.

The hotel is several kilometres from Porto but a person really doesn’t need to leave. Gorgeous hotel built like a ship on the river with a balcony to take full advantage of the view. Tastefully decorated room with a headboard artfully designed of flowers. Beautiful restaurant with an excellent breakfast and dinner buffet. Too many amazing architectural features to mention on the interior and then there’s the exterior. The infinity pool, deck and sun loungers are so pleasing to the eye. The staff were efficient and friendly.

My mom injured herself on the holiday and i needed to request an accessible room which they gladly accomodated. we were also welcomed by not only attentive staff upon entry, but had a lovely welcome sampler of local Port wine and some treats which were unexpected but a lovely touch. Dinner at the restaurant was incredible and a great value. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the fish! The following day we had the included breakfast which completely surpassed all expectations. Delicious and tons to choose from! I had an opportunity to enjoy the infinity pool in the sunshine which was lovely and had no problem getting a prime spot deck chair. Didn't have a chance to try the spa but maybe next time ;) Overall a lovely experience well worth the cost. HIghly recommend.

Beautiful view. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which was very good and a beautiful setting on the river.. next to park, which was very walkable. Taxis were easy to get. Would suggest a car and there is parking available. Hotel restaurant did have lunch and dinner and also a bar menu for light snacks. indoor pool and gym and an outdoor pool. The staff was amazing and very accommodating and helpful.. highly recommend this hotel. They had a mini bar with four choices, which was restocked a daily for free with soda, water, and juice..

Really nice pool area overlooking the river. Not much within walking distance, but Ubers were quick and cheap. Nice service around the pool, although a little slow at times, made up for by the friendly staff. Good breakfast options and a wonderful seating area hovering over the edge of the river. Gym was small, but some free weights and modern cable machine.

Location. River view apartment amazing day and night. Pool relaxed atmosphere. Pool towels provided. Bar service at pool excellent, Lots of small very good restaurants within walking distance. Small shop at the bottom of street for essentials with a very helpful shop assistant floriihda who will give you lots of tips of restaurants at low cost.

The space was clean and spacious, location was very good. and the staff was kind and helpful. The reason we booked was because of the pool and good review. .. but the pool is small for swimming and the view from the pool is not interesting ... Overall we enjoyed our stay!

The view from our balcony was exceptional. At night we were able to enjoy the full moon over the bridge and during the day, the sunrise and view over Porto. The pool came in handy as it was unusually hot when we were there. Also happy we were able to buy drinks and enjoy by the pool. The breakfast was delivered fresh everyday to our door. It was a lot of food for 3 people, but certainly well received.

Loved the location on the hill in Porto. Close to the tourist areas toward the bottom of the hill and less touristy area above. All the great restaurants too. Also, loved the simple decor and the pool. We had a small balcony view of the pool and all of Porto---it was stunning and such a nice surprise and delight!

Perfect location with great view from the room window or the Pool Terrasse to the river and the famous steel bridge. Super nice hotel staff and the pool was great to cool down after the challenging up- and downhill city walks.

Location was perfect for a getaway from a busy Porto streets, place to relax and unwind. Property has a lovely pool. Staff is amazing, ready to help with locations and places to visit nearby. Breakfast was exceptional, large selection of tasty foods. We enjoyed every day staying at Casa de Valcova and we are grateful for the hosts to have us! Thank you!

Great place for a vacation. We stayed here during our roadtrip in Spain and Portugal. Amazing location close to nature, with a good pool and surrounded by farms. The hosts (owners) and the rest staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner had many stories to tell us about the place. They also left us with a special gift - Blueberry Marmelade from the fresh berries from their farm. Porto is 30-40 mins away by car.

We were welcomed by the wonderful host couple, who made us feel at home from the first moment. They always had a smile, great advice for things to see, and allowed us to enjoy their old beautifully renovated fruit farm house at our leisure, including games, musical instruments and a child playcorner. The breakfast was legendary, with personalised special treats prepared by the host lady for each of us, different each morning. Many fruits were from their own gardens, and the guests could enjoy left-over croissants and similar throughout the day, together with free tea and espresso. Our room was small but beautiful, with high ceilings, a great air conditioning system and all amenities , including the best beach towels to use at the nice infinity swimming pool, with views over the green mountains. We will gladly visit again.

The pool was a very good size. Fed by a clean spring without the chemicals. The terrace has a fantastic view across the Douro Valley. An old farm building lovingly restored with a clean modern interior. Even the two en-suite showers had great views.

We had a wonderful stay here in September. Sebastiao our host was incredible helpful, giving a quick introduction to the area, and then leaving us to get on with our holiday - but with help available should we need it. The location is great, easy to get into Porto and also quick to get onto the motorway to visit other places around (V Novo de Gaia, Braga, Aviero, the Douro Valley). The villa itself was clean and has everything you might need. The pool, terrace and view over the river are a delight.

Beautiful property in a wonderful location. Sebastião our host could not have done more for us. The pool was absolutely amazing and we loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening and enjoyed a couple of BBQs as well. The property feels very private. The property is very handily located for so many excursions. We rented a car (and so handy to have EV charging on site!) but there is a bus stop at the bottom of the drive to the property. We took a lovely trip to the beach (on Sebastião’s recommendation) and it was only 25 minutes drive away. A fantastic spot for a relaxing break!

Our stay at The Rebello was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect — overlooking the Douro River with stunning views of Porto. The rooms were stylish, spacious, and so comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Every detail, from the breakfast to the spa and restaurant, was exceptional. We truly loved every moment and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Porto!

I called from overseas, Anna A answered. She was an excellent Ambassador and a pleasure to work with in person. Upon arrival, I met Hugo and Jessica. Hugo asked if I minded Jessica listening in because she had just started. Hugo was thoughtful and kind. An exceptional Ambassador. Anna A and Hugo were first class. I was there for 7 days. I got to know the staff. From Wilson who helped me set up my Amazon Fire stick to Kayla and Claudia in the restaurant all very good. Jessica was following in Hugo's footsteps. All Rebello staff were giving the best of themselves. Rebello you are doing something very right with your staff. I hope they continue to truly embody the spirit of hospitality. The thoughtful staff, clean facility, amenities, a stunning panoramic view of Porto, and the breakfast; the best I have ever had. I am well traveled. These are the reasons I would return. The hotel has great installations, and the service was overall very good. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the views from the hotel are truly fantastic — definitely a highlight of the stay. Staff were generally friendly and helpful, making the experience pleasant in many ways.

Lovely hotel on the river. The view from our room was spectacular. Breakfast had a great choice. Would highly recommend a stay at the Rebello.

V stylish, great room ( not big but perfectly fine), great breakfast (lovely chef doing eggs anyway - amazing omelette with fresh asparagus and mushrooms) amazing staff (Helena and Roberto) who couldn’t do enough for us. Booked restaurants when I was struggling ! Great location with a few nice local bars and restaurants v close by. Nice outside space and a v small pool which in may we didn’t use but sat out for breakfast and a ‘one for the road’ glass of wine. I would defo book again. No hesitation.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff were very welcoming right from the start. It felt more like staying in a beautiful home, rather than a hotel. With only 10 rooms, several beautiful indoor sitting areas, a bar, gorgeous outdoor dining area and a pool in a relaxing garden, it was tempting to stay in and not go exploring! Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. Also, the buffet breakfast was exceptional.

This is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff is super friendly and just amazing. No question was too much. And their tips for everything and anything Porto were incredible. The room was nice and clean, the bed could have been a bit bigger but that's personal preference. Breakfast was delicious! And did I already mentioned the unbelievable staff? :) Oh and then you have the pool, the bar,...

One of my favorite boutique hotel discoveries ever! Beautifully appointed lobby and rooms, with an idyllic pool and garden area for enjoying siesta and a delicious spread at breakfast or wine at night. The entire staff and especially Robert were welcoming and ready with wonderful recommendations. The location can't be beat: central yet away from the fray, quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back to Porto and would without a doubt stay here again!

A great little unique hotel. We had a 3 night stay but wished we had planned more time in Porto. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Each morning the manager welcomed us to breakfast and offered suggestions for the day. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The pool was refreshing after spending our days walking in the summer heat.

The lobby is really charming and unconventional. The room is aesthetically decorated. The staff is really nice and always in to help with your luggages, opening doors, helping you at the table during the breakfast. The indoor pool is so so beautiful, the best indoor pool I've seen so far. We didn't try the rooftop pool as it was a bit chilly outside but we couldn't help but notice the beauty of the outdoor pool as well, plus te view. It is way more beautiful in person than in the picture displayed on booking. Plus the lights control system in the room is really practical.

Fabulous retreat in an historical building on one of the main central pedestrianised streets in downtown Porto. Handy for absolutely everything Delightful hotel with a cute pool area, (plus good indoor gym and pool) fabulous service, good breakfast and friendly staff. Our room had a gorgeous view over rooftops of the old town- so glad that we elected here after some deliberation

Beautiful building in a very central, but quiet, location. Very comfortable bedroom; very good shower room and twin washbasins. Excellent breakfast. Decent bar / small restaurant. Good indoor pool with loungers on the side. Staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. Easy walk to the river and around the historic centre. Plenty of bars / restaurants within a very short walk.

Beautiful riverside hotel, with great ammenities and very attentious staff. Pool area with river views is perfect to soak up the sun, if the weather is not helping you can always enjoy a nice complementary spa with pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The river taxi to the city is a great complement that gives you a unique way to get into the city.

The hotel location is close enough to the town, but very peaceful right on the river. Pool & garden views are gorgeous. Bedrooms are modern, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The facilities and the spa are lovely. Breakfast was wonderful, the best options and variety we have enjoyed anywhere. The whole team go above and beyond to make your stay there even more enjoyable.

Great rooms, well-equipped! Very nice staff in the restaurant and bar, with good (but expensive) cocktails! Amazing turndown service, which was an unexpected surprise. Spa and pool facilities were incredibly relaxing. Note it is situated outside the city centre on the southern banks. Is about a 30 min bike ride (recommended!) or 20 min car ride into the old town.

Exceptional design, incomparable staff with kindness, professionalism, speaking perfect English. The spa and outdoor pool are terrific. And the food in all restaurants is top notch

We were obsessed with this place! The rooms were huge and so beautiful. The front desk staff were so amazing and helpful. They gave us recommendations for places to visit and places to eat and helped us figure out transportation. We even got to use the pool at the sister property! Laranjais was central to a lot of walkable tourist destinations in Porto. We were so happy with our stay!!

Probably one of the most friendliest & helpful welcomes we have received on our arrival at any hotel , the staff were so lovely they made us feel very special. The room we stayed in was very clean & spacious,very comfortable with the choice of two pillows. The apartment had a kitchen, which was spotlessly clean, and all the kitchen appliances you would need, including coffee podmachine. Recently refurbished throughout these apartments and tastefully renovated with plenty of the building original features left . Location is a 5 minute stroll to the main shopping arras, plenty of restaurants, bars and old town only 10 minutes walk. Very quiet street at night, so no problem sleeping. Highly recommend this property yo will not be disappointed. The property manager on the front desk is amazing..nothing is too much trouble. He is a credit to this property.

Very lovely, cozy apartment, quiet but perfect for exploring the city. Welcoming and helpful staff. Their dinner recommendations were really good, and they're just opening a breakfast bar next door. We got a free test breakfast there, and it was delicious. We'd stay here again!

Excellent location in a buzzy neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. But the accommodation was very quiet and peaceful. Just a few minutes walk from the Metro station with a direct line to the airport. All major sites within walking distance. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful - including giving us a map on arrival and explaining different areas of the city and how to get there, as well as restaurant recommendations etc. We had a boutique suite which was perfect for our four night stay - provided the best of both worlds, hotel service and self catering privacy.

Fantastic hotel with lovely staff that couldn’t do enough for you. The facility is wonderful with lots of character, but still felt modern at the same time. My only gripe would be that there was no pool on the rooftop terrace.

This place is charming, relaxing, and beautiful. The bar and restaurant area are breathtaking. The place is just delightful. The bed was comfortable with soft linens. It was very clean and the whole hotel smelled wonderful. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. The only complaint I had, and it is minor, is that the in-room coffee wasn’t great. The bar had amazing drinks. The rooftop and room balcony had wonderful views. It was very walkable, which was nice. Parking is a bit far away, but that is expected based on location. Highly recommend.

This is a really beautiful hotel, a little out of town, up a tiny cobbled street., only about 10 mins walk into the town centre. We were given a very warm welcome and a glass of wine on arrival. The staff and service were excellent, as was the breakfast which offered lots of choice, including many healthy options, as well as ‘English’ style hot food. Everything was of excellent quality and the waiting staff were very attentive. Our room was lovely with loads of storage and comfortable beds. A large bottle of mineral water was provided every day. Although we were close to the lift there was never any noise at all. We had dinner in the Hotel restaurant (Traves) one evening, which was delicious. The cocktails in the very comfortable bar, and the rooftop bar, were pretty good too! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and if we ever return to Porto, this is where we’ll stay.

The property is very charming! The room is very nice, spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very kind overall. They left us chocolates and port wine on the first day when we got back to our room. It was a very sweet gesture to welcome us. A few comments: 1- The property does not view the river, so the pictures are a bit misleading on Expedia. Even the roof, did not view the river. It is very close to the river, a couple of minutes you walk out. 2- When ordering breakfast, they offer cappuccino and latte, but we did not know the first couple of days, so ask for it, in case they just ask you if you want coffee or tea. They also have pancakes and different eggs that they can prepare for you in the kitchen, so ask for it. 3- The location is a bit uphill which is nice, but be prepared in case you have elderly.

The property was beautiful and we had a comfortable, spacious, modern room. We had drinks and dessert and the staff was great. They also reached out in advance offering to arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel. They were knowledgeable and friendly. We had a nice balcony and view. There was a rooster nearby as we were in a neighborhood otherwise pretty quiet area. The alley to our hotel was very narrow and we had to walk a bit to get near the sites and majority of the shopping and restaurants. I loved the property and recommend it, just wish was closer to things we wanted to see and do.

The room was exceptional and the service was even better. Every member of their team was incredible. Front desk, door, restaurant and Spa exceeded our expectations. The pool was really nice as was the sitting area around it. We didn’t go outside around the pool as the weather wasn’t cooperating, but it looked nice. Can’t say enough or out this destination, we will return for sure any visit to Porto.

Absolutely stunning property. The facilities are top notch. The restaurant provides an amazing atmosphere and spectacular food. The staff go above and beyond. They are kind and courteous. Make sure to visit Diego the bartender he is exceptional in his craft. The rooms are amazing.

The building and interiors of the hotel are worth the price alone, but when you add in the excellent location, the professional and friendly staff, the huge and varied breakfast (costs extra) and comfortable and extra long beds, you have a place I will come back to every time I visit Porto! This hotel is in the heart of old Porto, close to shopping, restaurants and the beautifully tiled train station. The shower was awesome. The lounge/bar near the lobby was beautiful and inviting. The indoor pool, sauna and spa were very relaxing and get you out of the heat in the summer afternoon.

Beautiful hotel with a spa and pool - we weren’t there long enough to enjoy them. The room was comfortable and we did enjoy the lobby bistro for an afternoon snack. Having gluten free options made it not only convenient but safe for me to eat. The breakfast buffet was nice as well. The location perfect, but be warned bolt and uber can not drive right up. It’s a little bit of a walk to get there. Overall a lovely stay and if you have the chance to be in Porto, this is a wonderful hotel to enjoy.

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, quiet room. Lovely patio area. My only criticisms are that the pool did not open until 10am and I wanted to swim before breakfast, and the gym was very small.

We had a phenomenal stay. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and the restaurant was perfect for daily breakfasts. The pool was also a great treat for a plunge at the end of hot days exploring the city. Definitely recommend the port tasting too; casual and informative. This also is a perfect location for exploring the city; central while still quiet, and also accessible to great restaurants within walking distance. We would love to come back!

I loved staying here! The staff was so friendly and helpful. They gave us restaurant recommendations, set up a Tuk Tuk tour of the city, and set up transportation and a visit to a wine tasting in Douro valley. The hotel was comfortable, clean, pretty, and nice. The spa was cute and I had a nice massage. The little library for meals was also great. We didn’t get to swim in the pool but it looked lovely. The location was central to many things but it was further up the hill and tucked away compared to the river side where it seemed was all the energy and crowds.

We had a delightful experience at the Torel Palace Porto from beginning to end. Their staff is friendly , always helpful and informative. They are charming and make you feel at home. The hotel itself has a wonderful literary theme, and is both elegant and cozy. Our room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking their lovely garden/pool area We loved the location - super quiet at night but centrally located, which enabled us to walk out and explore easily. We also ate at their restaurant Blind and it was fabulous! We highly recommend Torel Palace Porto!

Located in the hotel's dining room/restaurant in the basement, the breakfast area includes the restful and private terrace area adjacent to the pool. Breakfast service was excellent. The Eggs Florentine are exceptional - poached perfectly on a very fresh bread with spinach base and homemade hollandaise.

The hotel is gorgeous and very charming, rooms are nicely decorated with lots of nice touches in line with the literature theme (think every day a different bookmark, lots of books to pickup and check in the hallways and room), location is good, staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a good buffet selection, and nice a la carte options but could use a few more veggies. The restaurant terrace with the pool behind the tables is a pleasure to sit at.

Location was great, just a 15 minute walk to the old city and our riverside room had fantastic views across the river to the city. Breakfast was lovely and so was dinner in the restaurant. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The pool and poolside bar were fantastic ! Overall the hotel was great place to stay.

We loved the view from our superior river view room. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was small but very clean. The breakfast was varied and tasty!

The staff was exceptionally friendly. The hotel is modern and the furniture is really nice. Everything is clean and the pool was really nice. The breakfast was exceptionally good, very good quality and a little to choose. The orange juice is extremely delicious. The in house restaurant is also very good, the food was delicious and the service is excellent. The view from our room was beautiful and the hotel is very good located.

The location of the hotel was fantastic overlooking the Douro River on the Ribeira with easy access to all the attractions and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was fantastic - we had dinner there on our first night and the food was outstanding. Gorgeous view from our room and the most comfortable beds. The pool terrace was a welcome amenity to cool down.

Perfect location - very easy to get to all the main attractions including the Port houses. Outstanding staff working in this hotel from front of house to bar staff, housekeeping and restaurant - both for breakfast and dinner. The breakfasts were excellent and the restaurant and bar are very good too. Fabulous room and lovely heated swimming pool.

This hotel was a hidden gem and everything about our hotel was perfect t from the moment we checked in. We loved our room and the extra little touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable! We made good use of the pool and steam room and enjoyed attending a soap making workshop on our last morning. The staff were extremely accommodating and let us store our luggage and use the pool and showers after check out as our flight was in the evening. Breakfast was delicious and there was so much to choose from!

Loved everything - great location (walked everywhere), super room, beds and bedding were awesome, facilities are great, pool area is small but beautifully done, breakfast was fresh and made to order, and the staff - they were the icing on the cake! There were poolside acoustic concerts with wine/refreshment service 6-8pm thurs fri and sat- with super talented musicians. We loved our garden access room - it was cool and so quiet at night. Parked our car for 4 days in a local lot where we had in and out privelege - never used the car - We did not want to leave!

Very nice hotel with a charming courtyard, close from everything, yet very quiet. The room was very spacious and decorated with taste. The bed was amazing, incredibly large and comfortable, we slept extremely well. We appreciated the welcome delicacies. It was really nice to have a heated pool and jacuzzi. I also had a massage with Ana Marta at the spa and loved it, very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful stay!

This little gem of hotel is perfectly located and our room was super spacious and gorgeous. The little pool was heated and perfect for the time we visited. We absolutely loved our stay here, super close and convenient to either to get around by foot or a short ride using Bolt. The reception was very welcoming and helpful. Perfect little hotel in the perfect location for restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. We loved it.

Beautiful large clean rooms, amazing shower, huge comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Excellent pool and jacuzzi outside. An oasis of calm. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond in every way to make our stay exceptional.

This property has a very convenient location, literally right across from the Sao Bento Train Station and in front of the Sao Bento Metro station. The Time Out Market Porto is also right across the street. It is also an easy walk from the Luis Bridge upper part. The unit we stayed in felt modern and luxurious. The sofa bed was large and could easily fit 2 people. The first dishwasher tablet is free, but after that you have to pay extra for the refill. Same with the laundry detergent tablet. The laundry machine was in-unit for my unit. The breakfast is a continental breakfast which means: fresh bread, fresh OJ, egg tarts, milk, ham & cheese, fruit, butter & jam. Anything else is extra- alternative milk was extra. Yogurt with granola extra. There seemed to be plenty of breakfast options around- if I were you, I'd look into these before purchasing the hotel's breakfast. To add on the breakfast after the booking was 16-17 Euros and decided they day before by 4pm. There is an espresso pod machine to make coffee. Evelyn at the front desk had wonderful recommendations for places to eat, if you failed to make dinner reservations ahead of time.

Firstly, the location is superb with everywhere that you might want to visit, a maximum of 30 minutes walk away and Sao Bento metro station literally on your doorstep. Secondly, the apartment size, facilities and cleanliness are exceptional. We had a balcony overlooking the street which was nice from which to 'people watch'. It's a busy area but the room is well insulated against traffic noise. We enjoyed the breakfast box which was promptly delivered to our room each morning at the time of our choice and contains fruit, juice, fresh pastries, bread, ham, cheese, coffee, tea and milk. There was too much for breakfast so we used to make a sandwich for lunch washed down by a bottle of wine on the balcony whilst planning our afternoon jaunt ! - waste not want not !! Finally, the staff are extremely helpful all speaking perfect English and nothing was too much trouble. S. Bento Residences are just perfect for a break in beautiful Porto.

Ideally situated next to the Sao Bento Train Station and the Time Out Market and just minutes away from Porto Cathedral, our 1-bedroom apartment was spacious and modern and spotless and beautifully decorated. With 3 mini balconies overlooking this stunning city, our stay here was equipped with a comfortable sofa, a huge TV, a kitchen with dishes and utensils, a coffee machine, a fridge, a washer (with available detergent), a cozy comfortable bed, automated blackout blinds, and gorgeous ambient lighting throughout! And, should you have a craving for those pasteis de nata, there are 2 locations directly across the street. The staff here are amazing as well! Ines, Joao and Cristian were the most professional, personable and warm - always greeting you with a smile, offering helpful tips to navigate your way around Porto and assuring your stay is ideal! We loved our time in Porto. We look forward to our stay here again soon!

Location - you can’t get more convenient than this. Everything is simply around you, walking distance to anywhere everywhere for touristy spots. It’s directly above the S.Bento station so easily connected to the airport. Moreover, cafes, restaurants and shops are all around. Main bus 500 brings to you to other places super easily. The hotel is like a pit stop for me to take breaks whenever I want. Service from staffs - tip top from the beginning til the end. Good English speakers, warm and helpful. They provide all informations required before and during stay. They made me feel soooooo welcomed. Room - this is like a jackpot for me the moment I stepped into the apartment. Oh wow, everything is nicely done up, exquisite decorations, modern and complete. I think they made it very instagrammable! Bed and sofas are so plushed and cushy. There’s a small balcony overlooking the city view if you like people watching while enjoying breakfast or coffees. Kitchen is fully equipped although I didn’t use it. Bathroom is of very good size. Oh yes, room is soundproofed very well too! Safety - feel so safe here even late after midnight. It’s central, fully lit and people are around. Reception is 24/7 so you will always have somebody to help you. The main door is key lock control so it’s secured.

Can't say enough about these apartments. Design is very modern, clean lines; feel like you are staying in a much more expensive rental. Apartment was very clean and secure. Having a kitchen is great to save on having to eat all meals out (breakfast/morning caffeine). Other amenities not usually found in hotels: washer/dryer combo right in the apartment, heated bathroom floors, automated blinds, water boiler, and Nespresso machine. Location is right next to Sao Bento train station so just have to get luggage literally across an alley and you're right at the front door. Also right next door is Time Out Market which is convenient after a long day of sightseeing. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Only negative is the wifi tended to cut in and out. I had no trouble but wasn't trying to do serious work or get on a video call.

I have to admit I'm used to lovely hotels all around the world and this one features near to the top. The views and location were exceptional, the staff friendly and the environment was beautifully designed and comfortable. The food in the restaurant both for breakfast and dinner was just superb, and the skybar with it's small pool and wonderful view over the bridge with a cocktail or 2 just finishes it all off. I wish I had been on vacation and not on business but I'll keep this in mind when I need a break on my own somewhere special.

Absolutely perfect stay in Porto!! View of the river, outdoor pool, bar, fabulous food. Attentive, knowledgable staff, perfect location. The hotel elevator goes from the lower bridge upper- so no climblng for us!! Train stop at the upper door, all the 'things' are walkable and with the windows open- we listened to live music from the bar across the river. F

The location and view was amazing, as were the staff and the breakfast. The lift to the top and bottom of the bridge really assists in getting around Porto. The pool bar was fab. We also enjoyed the cosy indoor bar. The room and beds were very comfortable. The AC in the room was very good.

The gorgeous views from the hotel. On the Gia hill side over looking the hillside of Porto was the best view. The location was very easy to get to everything we wanted to do. Restaurant's food was wonderful and poolside/rooftop bar was a perfect location with more gorgeous views.

Wonderful location, spotlessly clean amazing rooms, love the sky bar with the pool and incredible views. The staff was so helpful as well and the breakfast was great. I will definitely come back.
