Had the best time at this resort. Our room was clean, easy to check in at desk and close to the pool!! Amazingly friendly staff, loved the location of the resort itself & the food was phenomenal, we had breakfast at the cove, lunch by the pool and dinner in the bar area. We enjoyed the pool all day on Sunday with delicious drinks and food, great people watching. Good prices and nice size portions. We plan to stay here next time we visit! Highly recommended.

This was my first time staying here and I want to come back already. There is plenty of parking and the staff is very friendly. Next time I want to stay in room that has its own patio with a fireplace because I saw a lot of families take their own games to play outside their rooms. I like how a gate from the pool area goes out to the lake. It’s very dog friendly too. They have a nice pool with plenty of lounge chairs and a jacuzzi! And I think a few fire pits outside and chairs and tables to have a snack. 10/10

I would highly recommend the resort for families. We went with a group of friends and their kids and had a blast at the pool, playing around the grass areas, making s’mores on the beach right in front of the resort, watching the Seaworld fireworks and walking to the brand new Tecolote North and South playgrounds. The Staff was amazing and our room facing the pool was remodeled and very spacious (in the 600 building).

This was our 4th time staying here. My wife and kids love this place. Rooms/bathrooms are always clean, pool area is amazing! We loved movie night at the pool! You can see the fireworks from Seaworld while you swim. Great communication with the front desk. The staff always seem happy and they’re very helpful!

Great place to park and relax a couple days. We enjoyed the pool and poolside food and drink service. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the trail running along the bay each morning. Private beach just a few steps away from our first floor room.

This place is amazing. Shore house team thank you so much for making our vacation very special. Shout out to Jason w he was very polite full of great energy and was even thoughtful to our little pup. This place is a must go to for San Diego!!!!! Rooms are super modern and the infinity pool was a great treat. Jason also mentioned coming back for Christmas, so we will see you then.

Quiet comfortable rooms. Pool and dining area are beautiful. Love being at the quieter end of the resort while havng access to all of it, in addition the private pool for the Shore House guests.

Adrianna was our server at Shorehouse pool. She was very knowledgeable, polite, and very attentive! She rules that pool!!

Denison, the front desk associate did a fabulous job checking us in and checking us out. Duane at the pop up football experience at the Laundry building provided great atmosphere and a Broncos victory. The pool is also always the best pool with great drinks.

This was our first time to Coronado and we went back and forth between staying in the Views at the main hotel and here. We were so happy with our choice. The Shore House is beautiful and so clean. It really felt like a private boutique hotel even though it’s so close to the very busy main resort property. We also loved the beach front pool that’s exclusive to Shore House guests and the complimentary beach chairs were a nice touch. We felt all of the staff was accommodating and so helpful - particularly Jasmine and Sophia. We hope to visit again soon!

Came over labor day weekend. Great place that met all my needs. Kitchen and washer dryer set. We travel with a baby so something are a must. They have baby stuff so that was great too. Pool and hot tub were nice. Everything else was also nice. Quiet area, if you wanted to fish in the bay their is access just a block away. If I'm ever back in San Diego I'll probably come back here.

This is the greatest place I've stayed at in a long time it has everything you need rite here games pool jacuzzi sauna you name it and it's close to all the stores and attractions around town.

Great location! Was able to take the golf cart to Oceanbeach, Sunset Cliffs, Liberty Station, etc. The pool and spa were wonderful! The owner was awesome! Super helpful if we had any questions. His response was quick!

The patio area with the pool and hot tube was awesome. The house was large enough for all of us to sit in the living room and eat together. The house was clean and the host was very accommodating..

Great views of the ocean and easy access from your room to the pool and to the beach. We were on the first floor with our own semi private patio with lounge chairs next to the pool. Location is perfect. Hotel staff were inviting, accommodating and always very nice. Pool bar service with food is also great. The staff was always available and checking to see if we needed anything. I really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The pool and hot tub are the perfect temps. The views from our room were spectacular! The TV was HUGE and had a great picture. The whole outside area around the pool was inviting and comfortable (tiki torches, fire pits, heaters, chaise lounge and comfortable tables and chairs, and free lemonade and iced tea or fruit infused water). The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is large. Everything was comfortable and clean.

What an amazing hotel! This is right next to the boardwalk in Pacific Beach. Take the stairs to get down to the beach! Hotel provides chairs, umbrellas, towels and boogie boards.. Staff is simply amazing. From the moment of checkin to the service in the Cafe/Bar, service was impeccable! The rooms are huge (422 sq ft) with a mimi refrigerator and microwave. The food and bar menu and drinks were amazing. Pool was heated and when overcast we spent many hours at the pool. I highly recommend this hotel... Parking was extra but well worth it!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the location is amazing. Great beginner/intermediate surf right out the hotel, and beach chairs and umbrellas available for borrowing. We loved the pool, it was the warmest pool I've ever been in for a winter trip! Pacific Beach was a lovely area with lots of good restaurants. We highly recommend this property!

Disappointed in fact there was no sit down restaurant or bar. Finding a chair at the pool was impossible. Pool deck is too small for the demand. Staff was great. Room was excellent. Great view. Over all, value did not equal high price and can't recommend this hotel.

The entire staff was very helpful. The property and surrounding areas were very clean. The pool was clean and the pool furniture was very tidy. Breakfast had one of the best presentations and spread to date in my experience. Looking forward to staying again.

The breakfast was amazingly delicious. I put chicken on the eggs with pickled onions and salsa. I also had all the fresh fruit and nut toppings on my waffles. The variety, freshness, and flavors were exceptional. The food service staff was even better than the food. The area was clean and organized. Ana was helpful with getting me ice and answering questions about the food. The pool and free airport shuttle was equally enjoyable. This hotel is top notch with their service and team.

Love this place! The staff so so warm, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are comfy and spacious and clean. The amenities provide lots of things for the kids to do (pool, basketball court, hot tub, games) and the bike paths and parks right outside our door cannot be beat. We’re close to down town but set in a location that feels calm and quiet. Love this Homewood Suites!

We loved this hotel. It was clean and rooms were super spacious for our family of four. Beds were comfortable with enough pillows and towels. The heated pool was a nice treat. The breakfast was delicious. The views and walkways around the hotel were beautiful. Would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel had a great breakfast buffet every morning. They had nice amenities such as a pool, basketball court, gym, and laundry room. The room itself was newly renovated and clean with a stovetop, dishwasher, fridge, and balcony. The location is perfect by lots of attractions in San Diego.

Located in a beautiful recently renovated building, the main hall is such amazing, really well furnished and full of fascinating plants and green corners. The staff was really amazing, welcoming us with a free drink and honestly, it was one of the most amazing gin&tonic i have ever had. The room was nice and clean. Very cool the closet with water corner and the fridge. The bathroom was big enough and well organized. The bed very confortable. During our first two days the breakfast was a bit diappointing, but serving only healty yogurt, fresh fruit, basic croissants and american coffee. Nothing salty. However, during our last day, they introduced a very nice american breakfast, with bagels, creame cheese, fresh fruits, juice, eggs and bacon and many more. They have just opened, so they are organizing the different areas, including the kitchen. They also offer a daily access to a close gym with jacuzzi. The only think i didn't exepected were the many homeless men and drug-people in the area, but just two blocks down everything it's such better. And that's why there is always a doorman opening the locked entrance door, at the clients in and out. Anyway, that's San Diego! The Granger will for sure be my choice during the next San Diego Trip.

I couldn't say enough good things about this hotel, and this is coming from someone who never leaves reviews! From the moment you enter, it's beyond beautiful and the staff is so welcoming! They even offer you a complimentary cocktail that's beautifully presented and made right there at the front desk which also has a cute little bar. The amenities and complimentary coffee and water and snacks on each floor is just so convenient snd nice, you will never see another hotel do that, it was just so unique! The room was so beautiful and yet very vintage, we loved it, and loved the animals that were incorporated throughout the whole hotel. It was also such a great location walking distance from everything, 711, CVS, lots of food, and right around the corner from the gaslamp district, didnt have to use our car to go anywhere honestly, it was great! And what we loved most of all and can't rave about enough, is the complimentary breakfast downstairs in there beautiful cocktail area, it was fantastic. Fresh bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, pancakes, fruit, exc.. even lemon ricotta pancakes which sounded weird to me, but were delicious, it was beautifully set up and presented as well! We will definitely be back, already looking at booking my next stay!

Exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was perfect. The design of the hotel was eclectic and stylish without seeming to try too hard. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Thank you!

Friendly staff, welcome cocktail drink, nice clean room, comfy bed, nice shower, bright room, yummy breakfast with eggs/bacon/berries/tater-tots/French toast/etc, artist studio-gallery on site, fun snacks complimentary, comfy seating area near front desk, and doorman to let you in at any hour of the night.

Stayed a short stay while in the city, upon arrival was I greeted by Alan who was very kind and helpful with getting me checked in and telling me about all the amenities available. I was even upgraded to a suite. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I appreciated the in room coffee/tea, refrigerated stocked with creamer, microwave to reheat leftovers, complimentary aluminum water bottle, filling stations, coffee stations, complimentary welcome beverage, soft duvets, and linen. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, location was great in the Gaslamp area, easily walkable to restaurants, cvs around the corner, and convention center close by. Would recommend and will stay again if ever in area again!

Check In was quick and easy. Every member of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean, even though they only service the room every second day. There is a coffee AND tea maschine in the room, which is very convenient, as I enjoy drinking tea in the morning. The bed is very comfortable, the mattress thick and just cozy. I also enjoyed having had a duvet for myself instead of just a sheet. Extra coffee is provided in the morning and the afternoon in the lobby. There is also the possibility to get still and sparkling water at a water fountain in the lobby, so you do not have to buy and carry heavy water bottles. And as another plus: you get a reusable metal bottle to use in your room and while being on tour. Location is great, there are a lot of different restaurants in walking distance. Convention Center is only 8 minutes away by foot. Staff at reception was so great, no matter what I needed, they always did their utmost to help me.

Great location, snack hour cookies and pineapple water were fun! Free coffee was a plus any time of day. Room was clean and linens were fresh, wifi and chromecast worked great. We borrowed the bikes - pro tip they are fixed gear and San Diego is hillier than it looks. The bikes are in good shape and a fun way to get around the flatter parts of town. We spilled a full cup of coffee in the room and housekeeping was quick to help replace the pillows and vacuum the floor. Secure entry - you need a room key to get into the lobby at night. Overall a pretty good value for a clean fresh room.

Great 4 night stay. Very friendly, accomodating staff, very clean, well cared for property in a very convenient area of the city. Felt safe. Loved the european style personal comforters, felt like a snuggly burrito in a good way lol! Room temp was adjustable which is important to us. Complementary pineapple sugar cookies and coffee in the afternoon was a nice touch. Recieved 4 tokens for free bottled/canned beverages at check in. Coffee maker, micro, and fridge in room. If I had to suggest anything at all it would be one more luggage rack or flat surface and 2 more drawers for storage. Perfect for 1-2 people, but our room could fit 3-4 with the pull out sofa, and a few more hooks in the bathroom to hang drying towels. Would highly recommend.

We spent 3 nights here and had a fantastic experience. Great location walkable to all the bars and restaurants in the Gaslamp district and a short drive to the Zoo and everything else San Diego has to offer. Friendly, helpful staff greets and offers a free drink upon arrival. The room was fantastic--THE MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS and bedding, super clean room--not fancy but very nice. Coffeemaker, robes, nice products in the bathroom and a fluffy dog on the bed! Umbrellas and bikes available in the lobby---a top notch hotel stay!

Pleasant stay, cozy old B&B in the perfect location for our stay on Coronado Island. We didn't take advantage of the extended continental breakfast, but they had all the essentials and a small room to enjoy the offerings, or you can take it back to your room. The room was perfect for us, except the bathroom needed some touch up and loving care. The room had all the essentials too. The mattresses were well used and had sunken in the middle which made for too soft of a mattress for me. Other than needing new mattresses, the room was exactly right, and we enjoyed the separate, private entrance around the back of the property with a nice-sized patio just outside our door. It is also a ground floor room which made it perfect for my wife. The air conditioner does tend to produce a lot of moisture condensation which pools on the floor in front of the refrigerator, TV and dresser (and all the way to the door). A few small fixes and the room would be perfect.

We didn't know quite what to expect, booking a stay at a bed and breakfast on an island we had never visited before. The curb appeal of the house instantly pleased us. We were met by the beautiful scent of blooming flowers everywhere mixed with the most magnificent collection of butterflies darting about. Anna made us feel welcome immediately. And, since we arrived early, she called us to let us know our room was ready. The things that impressed us the very most are the cleanliness and total welcoming warmth and home-like charm of the house. The beautiful living room/sitting room with a bowl of fresh fruit, a bowl of healthy snacks and the coffemaker to brew fresh coffee any time of day or night was impressive. The ambience and comfort of the sitting room with fresh flowers and the fresh pastries available day and evening were just another added touch of welcome and charm. Our room was impeccably clean and decorated perfectly. The bed, very comfortable and any amenity we might need including hair dryer and magnifying mirror for makeup. We also appreciated very much different sitting spaces outside the house. We chose our breakfast fruit and pastries and fresh coffee and sat on the front porch to enjoy it. At night we sat on the patio under the party lights sipping our cocktail, talking with other guests. The quiet, peace and total comfort of the home was perfect. We hope to return one day!

Cherokee Lodge was even better than we expected! I'm absolutely not typically a B&B kinda gal, but the reviews I had read on this place had piqued my interest so we took a chance. I'm SO GLAD we did! The house is adorable, the grounds are gorgeous, and the rooms are well-appointed and cozy. Everything was super clean, and we loved the self-serve breakfast and coffee nook, with fresh cookies put out each afternoon! The wrap-around porch was our favorite place to sit and have coffee in the morning, among the lush lemon and orange trees, and abundant, well-tended flowers. The beach was a mere 5 minute walk away - we couldn't believe how close we were. The famous Hotel del Coronado was a 10 minute walk, maybe even less. And the Lodge is only one block from Orange Ave, where shopping, cafes, and restaurants are abundant. There's a supermarket one block away as well, where you can pick up snacks, a local beer, or a bottle of wine to bring back to your room for a night in, or to grab supplies for a picnic on the beach. My husband, toddler and I stayed in a king room upstairs, and my parents were in a separate king room upstairs as well. It felt "homey" and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating, and the other guests we encountered were friendly, quiet, and all respectful of each other. It was the perfect long weekend stay in Coronado, but we all wished that we were staying longer!

The location is just perfect. But also the house itself and especially room 3 and room 4 are perfectly situated. Very quiet neighborhood. But only 1 block from all restaurants and 7 minutes by foot to the beach. Beds are very comfortable. Shampoo, shower gel and conditioner is available. Lovely staff. Breakfast is scones, croissants, muffins, yoghurt, fresh fruit and granola bars. Available almost 24 hours. Also water in the fridge available. All first come first serve. Breakfast you have in the room or on the front porch.

The property was beautiful, the porches were wonderful to sit and relax. We found the Bnb to be very clean very quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast is more of a continental breakfast rather than a breakfast, we would have liked to maybe see a little bit more options maybe some cereals or Oatmeal options. The beds were extremely comfortable, the pillows were a little bit hard, the rooms were clean and cozy and very quiet. We will be returning to the Cherokee Lodge and probably making it or go to place to stay when we are in Coronado several times a year. Just throwing out a suggestions, having a couple of bikes for people to ride around the island would be fabulous as well .

This is a nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast from 6:30 till 9 am. Your usual fare. Pool is heated has 24 loungers and some pool furniture.Hot tub is hot but small. Room and bathroom was spacious. No bar soap all liquid hanging on the walls. You can get the USA Today daily no charge. Hallways have murals of Pacific Beach area. There are many restaurants,grills,bars within easy walking distance. Closets are small. Room has small refrigerator,safe,iron,ironing board. Also, has a Keurig coffee maker.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Ocean Park Inn. (Funny story, I used to stay here with my mother on our family vacations as a child!) Our room was fantastic; clean, spacious and 100% worth every penny. The breakfast was fresh every morning with plenty of selections, the pool and hot tub were well cared for and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our 5 year old loved the pool and the short walk to the beach was one of the main reasons I chose to come back to OPI! Thank you for making our family vacation a 10/10, we’ll see you next summer for sure!

Right on the boardwalk, valet to park and always had a guaranteed parking spot on site. Breakfast was wonderful and the pool & hot tub were perfect. They even had a bin of toys for the beach and pool. My daughter really liked the modern theme of the rooms too. All of the staff were kind and helpful.

The location is convenient to the beach and restaurants. Room was clean, employees were super nice and helpful. Very accommodating. Breakfast spread was standard for complimentary breakfast, good options for a family. Felt like a safe area, clean, not a lot of transients or anything. Balcony facing the beach was nice. Pool/hot tub were nice and relaxing, never busy. Bathroom was good sized, and the shower was nice,everything was clean. Boogie board rental was easy and a great addition to our days at the beach!

Amazing view if you book the front ocean view. You see the sunset weather permitting. The rooms are lovely and of decent sizes with good size showers and comfortable beds. Nice little balcony. Decent coffe in the room from the coffee machine. The staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was decent, selection of breads, waffle machines, bacon, turkey sausages were tasty, baked beans, scrambled eggs, coffee machine, juices, jams, cereal, yogurts. We didn't use the swimming pool and jacuzzi however they were in working order.

Breakfast buffet was great, different options. Pool was nice, clean, and kid friendly.

Great hotel, well cared for, staff was super nice and helpful, it had many more amenities that we were expecting for an “airport” hotel. (pool, laundry room, gym) the complimentary breakfast was really nice… only thing to mention is they don’t have a restaurant on site, but there’s a few a short walk distance. the airport shuttle was also a nice perk. would totally consider to stay here for a longer stay!

The location within walking distance from the airport. The breakfast served from 6am. Complimentary water and coffee. Spacious rooms and common areas. Lovely walks nearby. There is also a pool. It's all very functional.

Pool and spa were loved by my son. Weather was not great, but the pool was heated, which made it stay better.

This hotel is amazing, quiet most of the time, rooms very clean, more spacious than most hotels. Staff was amazing. Pool and spa fantastic. I got to my room very beautiful, nice view, except one problem a/c wasnt working. Very quickly, they got me a new room and upgraded it for the inconvenience. I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND this hotel. I very stayed there 3 times so far this is my 4th time and I definitely plan on staying more.. Thank you staff, keep rocking!

Every single thing! I mostly enjoyed the cleanliness. The staff was helpful, friendly, accommodating and really looked like they enjoy their work. The hot tub worked so that was a plus for me, the pool was clean. The lobby was immaculate. There's all day coffee, the pillows are soft, the air conditioning worked great and I love that. We received a welcome bag when we checked in, the front desk from 8/23-8/25 were great. Being from out of town I had questions as the best beach to go etc and was given great advice. I felt very safe being there with my 2 teenagers. I loved our stay.

The ease of check in, the room was spacious, the staff was friendly, the water refill station was perfect! The location was central to everything! The pool was cleannnn! The restaurant in the same parking lot was amazing tooo!

The room was big with lots of drawers and big wardrobe. I liked the garden chairs, as they had lovely cushions to sit on. Very good condition. Bathroom had a lovely big mirror that was lit from behind Swimming pool was lovely and warm Pool bar served lovely food, as well as drinks Sierra the pool bar lady was great. Very friendly and made us feel welcome. Cushions on pool sunbeds were very well padded Dining room had a lovely outlook overlooking the marina Grounds were well maintained

Wonderful getaway for pool lounging! The music and multiple seats around the pool give lots of shade and sun. Personally loved hanging out for hours with my book and taking breaks to do a few laps around the pool or soak in the spa. The bar next to the pool is always plus, and the bartender is always friendly!

The pool was brilliant. The bar located at the pool had friendly staff who made the whole experience very enjoyable. The jacuzzi was clean and comfortable and all sun loungers were great around the pool with plenty of space.

The pool and hot tub are terrific! The area has lots of palm trees and feels very tropical. The pool bar is great- amazing drinks and service! If you want a chill place to emjoy pool, hot tub, and drinks, this is it!

Very comfortable room and bed. Nice hot shower, coffee maker, fridge, clean and spacious. We were given complimentary parking which was a huge plus at $25 per night! There is a fun bar with live music and a happy hour. Nice pool and jacuzzi. The pool bar made great drinks. Good restaurants are within walking distance. The location is in a busy area but well off the busy streets. Staff are very helpful and nice.

I recently stayed at City24 in San Diego and had a great overall experience. The biggest highlight is the central location. It's close to San Diego International Airport and the cruise port, which may be good or bad, depending on why you are in San Diego. It is convenient but it's also busy and noisy. The accommodations themselves are spacious and modern, offering plenty of room to relax.. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. The building is right next to the freeway, so expect some city noise. I sleep like a brick, so I didn't care. Despite the busyness, it is convenient, and close to the best parts of San Diego. I enjoyed getting coffee and pastries every morning right up the street near Balboa Park. City24 is definitely worth checking out.

The space was perfect. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. They had every amenity my family needed. Matt and the rest of the staff (I didn’t catch their names) were very helpful throughout my stay. The view from our room was amazing. Especially if you have kids that love to see airplanes land and take off. The private balcony is absolutely stunning. It is a great place to enjoy the outdoors and talk or play board games with family. I would stay here for my next stay in San Diego.

The hotel is gorgeous. It feels like a luxurious tree house and very peaceful even with the airport so close. Good views of the marina. The pillows were so amazing I almost stole one. I would like to thank Belen for being so helpful and Matt for checking me in and showing me around the room. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. It’s within a 10min walk of good restaurants and cafes.

Charming, great value, boutique hotel, excellent location close to beach, shops, restaurants. Lovely garden sitting area with fire pit, heated pool and jacuzzi. Pool/beach towels & chairs provided. Spacious room with ample storage, fridge, microwave, and delicious Starbucks coffee for brewing as desired. Loved that! Good morning coffee in the lobby as well. Very clean, good bed & bath linens as well as all amenities!

The location is perfect, 5 minutes to walk from the famous Coronado beach. Just inside of courtyard where there are couple of the restaurants in the territory of the hotel itself. In general the street full of the restaurants is just in the corner. There is a nice pool too. Free coffee in the lobby. The bad is super comfy and the pillows too. Welcoming and helpful staff. Fabulous pool and hot tub in a charming courtyard in a perfect location two minutes from the beach. Room was lovely and clean with huge comfortable bed. We stayed at the Del Coronado (which is opposite) the three days prior to our stay at El Cordova and utterly regret not staying at El Cordova for our entire time- rooms were far cleaner and staff were much more polite and helpful (and it’s a quarter of the price!!).

We loved our stay! Thank you for best service ever! the most client oriented. We had 1-bedroom suite with kitchen on the 1st floor and it was amazing! authentic hotel, rooms, common zones, very clean. 2 restaurants (Mexican and seafood). Mexican is always full, but seafood also is very good. swimming pool and tube - always not busy. Location is perfect - on the Main Street and near the beach.

We really loved the location, and our view from our room over the marina was amazing. The rooms were spacious, beds super comfy and nicely decorated. We were over the bar/pool area so it could be a bit noisy but by 10pm it was quiet. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming, especially Maddie, she was so helpful.

I highly recommend the Bay Club Hotel. It is well-located, near plenty of excellent dining options, but quiet. I am very happy I reserved a marina view room--it was so peaceful and beautiful. The pool area was great, the staff was top-notch, and the rooms were very comfortable. The restaurant was good, and I really appreciate having morning coffee available in the lobby at no additional charge, and ice at the bar.

Beautiful room, lovely restaurant which looks out onto the marina, nice pool area, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant and the service was great with refills of soft drinks, coffee and water at breakfast and big portions of tasty food.

We arrived late and checked in easily.. the room was clean, lovely and comfortable. We had a view on the Marina side and it was very quiet. We had a swim in the pool and used the jacuzzi… they were doing renovations but that didn’t impact our stay. Nice location with great restaurants and walks. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location in the heart of Gaslamp quarter near many restaurants. Walking distance to seaport village and convention center. Nice vibe at the hotel with pool, coffee shop and restaurant. Great drinks and food at the pool. Nice room with coffee maker, and combined phone charger (usb) and Bluetooth speaker. Safe, bathrobes,plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. This hotel is extremly nice, we loved everything, the room decoration size and view. the hotel deco is great and the bar with live music is great. We enjoyed the pool and the pool bar, our kids loved going there after a full day of discovering SD. THe staff is very nice and helpful. We loved everything. Gaslamp is a nice area to stay as you can walk to the seaportvillage and explore the Gaslamp quarter.

Roof top bar was fantastic. We were there for a concert so the hotel was packed and there aren't that many chairs at the pool. Food was great for poolside and the drinks were delicious!

Room was large and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was great and so were included high quality toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and body moisturizer). The pool bar was good and has a happy hour from 4-7 pm. Location was excellent. We found our favorite area by walking to seaport village for coffee and an amazing view of the bay. No hidden fees. Free water in lobby.

We loved the location, you're so close to walk to everything, just steps away from the USS Marine Museum. The breakfast had great variety for all ages. The Bay view were more like a partial Bay view because of how the hotel is designed, but great views with big windows. Wish the rooms were equipped with comfy chairs to relax in front of the windows. The pool was terrific for kids and the patio and pool area had a very relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the sunshine or the fire places at night.

Front desk staff was very friendly and super helpful. My room was super clean and had great views! The pool was clean and had plenty of seating and clean towels available. Bar staff was supper friendly and very helpful as well. When it came to breakfast, they had lots of options which came in handy with my kids being picky eaters. Overall, I would definitely stay again when visiting San Diego.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel during Mother's Day weekend with my kids in San Diego. The staff was warm, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Our room had a stunning harbor view, which made our mornings and evenings extra special. My kids especially loved the pool it was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for family fun. The amenities overall were excellent, and everything about our stay was comfortable and relaxing. We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip. Highly recommended!

Fabulous!! We loved the location, walked everywhere, even as far as balboa park. Felt safe, laid back. Perfect for ferry to coronado, Hotel was clean, stylish, perfect! Pool the perfect way to spend the late afternoon after exploring. View from room amazing! We hope to come back!!

Wonderful stay in this hotel. Our room was super clean and nicely appointed, excellent and helpful front desk and maintenance staff, good hot breakfast, good parking on-site (free) and close to places to eat, a grocery store, etc. Pool on-site was clean, had a bbq area as well. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room was big & clean. It was quiet- We didn’t hear anyone in the rooms around emus. Breakfast was awesome- Wide variety & plenty of it. The hot tub & pool were warm & clean. We loved staying here, & would definitely stay here again!

Rooms very clean, quiet and comfortable. View of the pool. Nice stay. Only mild issue was the room (207) had a smell that reminded us of faint bug spray. Our daughter's room had no smell. Overall, nice stay.

Friendly staff; clean facility; breakfast daily; rooms with coffee maker, microwave and fridge; gym adequate and accessible; DIY laundry available and parking free. While there was a pool, I was unable to take advantage of it due to weather, but would have if weather permitted.

Overall good experience. The room was clean, good gym, nice staff, and excellent location. The pool is pretty small and really would benefit from having showers at the pool. As far as the room goes, the bathroom needs to have a fan and more hooks for hanging towels and wet clothes if you visit the pool. I would still stay again in the future.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Front desk always greeted us with a smile and had the answer to all of our questions. Special shout out to our server, Lisa, who took excellent care of us for our one and only breakfast at the lounge restaurant. Pool & hot tub were great. Nice to have the heated pool. We loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this property! It was so beautiful and serene , the area around it was wonderful for walks , the pool was amazing - felt like we had it all to ourselves most times . Also adored our covered balcony overlooking the pool - sat out there in the morning with coffee and at night with a glass of wine . Parking was easy , staff was very kind.Would def recommend and stay again .

Spent 4 days here we enjoyed everything about our stay. Convenient location, friendly helpful staff, very clean, pool was nice. There is a StarBucks inside but they are not affiliated with the company so they did not have the drinks like the chain. Breakfast you have to purchase there is a lot of food options at the very nearby LIBERTY STATION there is a very nice path to walk along the water way. My daughter went paddle boarding which the water was very calm. Overall very quiet and enjoyable would def go back. Affordable as well.

This is one of the nicest Coutyards I’ve stayed at. Great view of mountain and lake. Beautiful event venue. My double queen room was very spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable. Window can be opened for fresh air. Excellent service staff all around. Nice pool, fitness room, lobby. Highly recommended!

Everything good but don’t get a room near the pool, very noisy until 10 pm when the pool closes.

We love the heated pool! Choices at breakfast were served hot and fresh. Coffee is flavorful. Beds are comfortable.

This hotel did not disappoint! Our morning started off bad got worse reaching San Diego. We were able to check in right away (11 AM) NO HASSLE about being early. Absolutely made our day! The room was clean! Had all amenities and above with DOVE hand soap, shampoo and conditioner stock. Breakfast A one! Complimentary coffee and fruit all day. 24 hr access to fitness, pool, airport shuttle…made our visit to California one to remember. Thanks HIE!

Coming from a small country town, having never been to a big city. This hotel made us feel like home. They were caring and respectful. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a safe place for your family. The location is nice the pool is warm. The breakfast was great.

Pool area was under repair. Supposedly, to be finished by Memorial Day. Highly unlikely. Lining of pool needs concrete repair and then replaster pool. Then needs to dry, cure, and be refilled. Our opinion....might be done 4th of July. No mention on website. Rates should be discounted due to lack of notice that pool was out of order. Otherwise, hotel is central but off main street. Quiet street and dining within a few blocks of hotel. Hotel is pristine.

Great location! Inn by the Sea is a very nice hotel with friendly staff. The pool is heated pool and there is a complimentary 24/7 coffee and hot beverage area near the pool. Elizabeth checked us in and let us know that she grew up in the area if we needed any recommendations. We were here for a wedding and actually, with the managers permission, were able to leave all of the wedding flower arrangements behind for the staff to take home. ;). Thank you for a wonderful stay! Inn By The Sea La Jolla is the perfect location if you want to go for a beach walk or shop in the heart of La Jolla. I enjoyed a beautiful ocean view from the balcony of my spacious room. I loved having a desk in my room, also. I enjoyed hanging out at the pool and pool lounge. There is a washer and dryer for on the premise. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend staying at The Inn By The Sea La Jolla!

Very nice hotel in La Jolla, close to the sea. Great sunsets when wheather ok. Very clean and well-kept. Nice big rooms and comfortable beds. Great staff, always helpful. Warm and clean pool. Free Coffee etc beside the pool. Waterfilter machine to fill your bottles. Many good restaurants close. Good parking.

Centrally located. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Comfortable room and a heated pool. The coffee area by the pool was great for the mornings. The staff was excellent and helpful when called upon. The $20 parking fee per night was well worth it to me.

Great location with beautiful views. I loved the balcony and view of the ocean! It took me awhile to find it, a hotel that was really on the beach. We also had the most beautiful weather I was told by the locals it was unusual for the first week of January. The sunsets were amazing.The area restaurants were lovely and many cute shops that had everything. A shout out to the Beach Cafe right in front of the hotel. I had breakfast there and it's on the beach, I was in heaven, the staff were great. I also learned of the interesting history the hotel has. I talked to people on the beach that have been going there for many years and said it was the best. One couple had tried all the area hotels and always came back to the Beach Cottages. A well designed cozy place on the beach. The staff were wonderful. I'll be back. Thank you so much!

Location! Besides being right on the beach, there is also a grocery store, CVS & 7-11 close by in case you need anything. My room in the west wing was large with a separate sitting area with a couch & table, a kitchenette area with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and various utensils. Fan in the room (check the closet) helps muffle out the noise from the restaurant on the corner but beware- the music is loud and they play it till 1 am or so. I enjoyed listening to it while I sat on my balcony then enjoyed my coffee out there in the morning while listening to the waves crash on the beach. Ice machine & elevator were great to have. Room was very clean and bed & pillows were very comfortable, not too soft or too hard. Noticed they served coffee out on the patio in the morning if you don't want to make your own in your room. Can't complain about anything😀

The location is amazing. Right on the seawall, and parking is easy with FOB access. We stayed in a beach cottage and it was cozy and perfect for the night. A bit rustic but everything you need is right there, the furnace worked great, wifi was perfect, bathroom great, linens etc great, and the view is amazing. You can't get any close to the beach. The only small issue we had was early in the morning when I used the microwave the power circuit to the whole cottage tripped and we lost all power. Not great since my wife was in the shower in the dark, but a call to the front desk had it fixed within 5 minutes, and I wouldn't let that ruin my stay. Overall it was great and we will be back.

The Beach Cottages are right on the beach and have the vacation feel you remember enjoying your whole life! Comfortable classic room with sea view and a kitchenette- with ping pong and shuffleboard and direct beach access! The price is good especially off season and the staff is always helpful and always friendly! Affordable convenient gated parking right behind the hotel too. It’s perfect for us!!🐬🌞

Adorable cozy room with a screened sliding door with an incredible view of the beach. The sound of the ocean waves from our room was lovely. Access just minutes away. So easy and awesome. Cute shops to grab souvenirs and great quality hoodies, great restaurants and an ice cream shop too. Ralph’s is right across the street to grab munchies and Starbucks coffee. Perfect location!!! This was the perfect place to stay for one night while touring SDSU with my daughter. Some reviews complained about the small size of the rooms but if you are not big people with a ton of stuff, it’s great. Very well priced too for being beachfront!

Very charming hostel in the heart of downtown restaurants and bars area. Clean, comfortable . Free coffee and breakfast . Special breakfasts for Christmas morning and New Year's Day was nice. . Staff were wonderful . They were attentive , helpful and made my stay enjoyable . Had fun with karaoke nights and New Year's Eve celebration.

I was by myself without my family and nervous and the staff help me so much when I needed it! I am so grateful first day in there. I had an amazing experience. I was blessed talking with the most amazing people from everywhere experiencing beautiful sites I have never seen before. The beaches bars and restaurants are walkable distance. They have social events and a nice clean kitchen! I would definitely recommend staying here with friends for a couple days experiencing life and come back to a safe and warm environment. I had an amazing stay at Gaslamp Hostel during my San Diego visit! The hostel's location in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter was perfect for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the amenities were top-notch. The dorm rooms were clean and comfortable, and the communal areas were great for meeting other travelers. I especially loved the fully-stocked kitchen and the free breakfast every morning. The hostel also organized fun events and activities, like karaoke and walking tours. I felt like I was part of a community, not just a tourist. Gaslamp Hostel exceeded my expectations in every way. I can't recommend it enough - it's a must-stay for anyone visiting San Diego!

The location was perfect, especially if you don’t want to waste time driving or searching for parking. Everything you need is within walking distance, which is incredibly convenient. The breakfast was also fantastic—especially since many hostels nowadays no longer offer a FREE breakfast. It was a pleasant surprise to see that this property does! The place is kept spotless, thanks to the constant cleaning by the staff. They also offer a variety of activities, which is great when you're traveling solo and want to meet new people. My favorite part, though, was the kitchen! It’s spacious and clean, easily accommodating four people cooking at once. Honestly, it’s probably the best hostel kitchen I’ve ever seen.

This was one of my best hostel experiences ever. The vibe is awesome. Room was spacious and beds comfy. Lot's of common areas to hangout. A big kitchen where we can cook our own food, which was a blessing in San Diego where eating out is not cheap. Free condiments to cook were added plus. Fridge was available for food storage. Breakfast was delicious and generous (Milk, corn flakes etc., and oranges). Tea/coffee available round the clock. Staff were certainly the best part of this hostel. Their friendly service made it a truly memorable stay.
