it is on amazing location. liked very much swimming pool and jacuzzi. My children and family friends enjoyed alot.

Pool area was nice and clean but the sun beds were really uncomfortable but most are! Unfortunately the umbrellas did not stand up to the wind and most of them broke while we were there.

It was a good choice. A pleasant surprise. Great pool.

If what you are looking for is an absolute break from anything and everything stressed and hurried Colina Verde is the place for you. Sufficiently separated from cities to be free from contemporary clutter yet close enough to Faro airport (Half an hour by car) and Olhao (15 to 20 mins) to provide convenience yet peace and quiet. Photographs on line are faithful to experience.All rooms are well air conditioned. Kitchens provide pretty much all one might need. The pool is a dream and the staff are an absolute delight. I imagine the Portuguese might like an attempt made at their language but that said ALL reception staff, speak excellent English and take customer care to unparalled levels. You won't find English speaking T.V. channels BUT why would one want to be suck inside a room when the grounds,pool and environment are simply so marvellous?

Cristina was very humble, friendly, helpful and caring. Property itself is very comfortable with all the necessities needed, swimming pool was decent and clean, area quiet and peaceful. Good care of the place with good security and safety.

The facilities are excellent and we even had access to a pool and bbq. Very clean and modern. The host Cristina was very helpful and friendly. It was better than we expected. Everything you need, large fridge, stovetop, dishwasher and all the crockery you need. Two smart TVs and excellent wifi as well. Good parking.

The pool the wonderful breakfast, the staff, Christina was exceptional wonderful! The beach was close.

Large and tasty breakfast buffet selection (both hot and cold). Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. You can use a swimming (infinity) pool very close to the beach in addition to the one by the hotel. A couple of nice restaurants very close by overlooking the beach at reasonable prices (extensive fish selection). Very good for families and couples. It is a quiet and peaceful area, so would recommend you hire a car to see more of the area. 3 minute drive to a supermarket, 20 minute drive to Tavira or to Spain. Plenty of parking available. The wifi internet is only 1.50 Euros per day in the reception / breakfast area.

Hotel Praia Verde is the perfect place to relax. From the moment we arrived we were looked after with a welcome drink, and short tour. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of hot and cold foods including home made breads, butter, jams and juices. Restaurant and pool bar served great food, wine and cocktails. Lovely swimming pool area. Short walk to beautiful nearby beach. Well equipped gym. Our suite had good facilities and was very clean. All the staff at the hotel worked incredibly hard, were really friendly and helpful and made it a really welcoming place to stay.

The hotel is stylish, the food is delicious, and it’s about an 8 min easy walk to the beach. Downsides, the waiting staff in the restaurant were inattentive and less than friendly at times, and the pool is basically a large, shallow paddling pool full of children and their inflatable toys. Great destination if you have a young family, not so much if you want peace and quiet!

Very pleasurable stay with a lovely pool, pool bar and access to the beach. Please note that the walk to the beach is more than 500 yards and so with little ones this may prove too much. Although it caters for children, at meal times it does not provide children's cutlery and rather relies on young ones being able to use adult cutlery. A small point but one to bear in mind. The room was spacious and well furnished.

Pluses: Nice location, less touristy, unspoiled Beach trolley Dinner area and boutique / alternative style Minuses: Lack of staff (reception, breakfast, etc) although those working were very nice Too small - small rooms, small pool, small dinning area Starting to feel run down - rooms and bathrooms, pool shower not working Generally didn’t feel good value - prices similar to those in other algarve areas with better infrastructure. The boutique nature of hotel does not justify premium pricing. More like a 4* rather than a 5*

The hotel was very clean with modern interior. It was nice that it was a small hotel with not too many people - we always got a sunbed at the pool. Comfy bed, good shower and nice balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They kindly ordered us a taxi to the airport on the day we were leaving. The hotel was a perfect distance from the centre of Tavira. The pool terrace was a bonus. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing break in Tavira.

The hotel lobby is nicely decorated, staff was really friendly. Our room had a double bed with a sleep sofa for our 9-year old, we all slept really well. There was also small balcony with two chairs (street view), a refrigerator, a safe, and a spacey bathroom with a nice walk-in shower. On the rooftop of the hotel, there is a small swimming pool and some pool chairs. Breakfast was super good (enough food, nicely presented) and is served in the lobby. Parking is for free in the streets around the hotel (quite busy though). The city center and a lot of good restaurants are in walking distance.

Modern, super clean and well located for the beautiful town of Tavira. Rooms are spacious and modern with comfy beds. The hotel is a bnb concept as there is no bar or restaurant, but was not an issue for us as there are many bars and restaurants within easy walking distance on the flat. Really appreciated the rooftop terrace with plunge pool, perfect for relaxing and with lovely views of the town.

Great location just outside tourist hub but lots of restaurants and bars 5 minutes away. The hotel has a laid back vibe, quirky decor in the reception and breakfast lounge area. Bedrooms v well appointed and comfortable. Rooftop plunge pool v refreshing on a hot day with comfortable seating. Reception staff friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good, nice choices.

Lovely little boutique hotel, all the details are well thought out from a beautiful reception area to the rooms. The rooftop terrace is perfect to catch some rays and have a dip in the plunge pool, always plenty of beds up there. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotels location is spot on, just a walk away from the river, restaurants, castle gardens and ferry to the beach. All areas of the hotel are very clean and the little balconies are a good addition for drying towels, swimwear and watching the world go by. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Tavira!

Beautiful place to stay for some rest, Gardens and surrounding areas well maintained, lots of space for peace, lovely smell of rosemary through. Great size rooms with balcony or terrace. Lovely pool to cool down in. Pedro at the bar was friendly and made great cocktails. Had dinner in the restaurant was beautifully cooked - even got given a birthday cake with a candle for dessert.

A great place to stay for a few days on holiday. Very nice, well maintained surroundings. 2 excellent swimming pools and a jacuzzi. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly to guests. The food in the restaurant is excellent, we enjoyed the local food. The rooms are large and tidy. We were looking for a place that could offer beds instead of extra sofas and we got what we expected, which we are happy about (when choosing a trip with children). Every room (as far as we could see) has a terrace or balcony where you can have a cosy evening.

We liked the idyllic place on the countryside with animals, beautiful views and cute pool area. The room was spacious and clean with big and comfy bed. Staff was very friendly,also the breakfast was very nice!

This hotel was literally a breath of fresh air because of its beautiful rural location. Our room had a small veranda/balcony and overlooked the local olive farms. It was a perfect antidote to 5 days of city touring. They had a pleasant dining room with big picture windows where we had our breakfast. There was also a very nice swimming pool but we didn't have time to use it. The hotel wasn't far from the lovely little town of Tavira with all its restaurants.

The building is absolutely beautiful. Lying by the pool looking at the blue of the sky and the water contrasting with yellow walls is wonderful. The pool itself is so clean. The cloisters where you eat breakfast are so calm and all of the rooms and gardens are immaculate. The staff are efficient warm & friendly. Breakfast is one of the best ever. The room was comfy and immaculate and sitting in the balcony looking up the valley was a delight.

We stayed in a suite and it was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and we were provided different pillow choices. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was very good with plenty of options to choose from. The breakfast was also very good with lots of selections to meet anyones breakfast needs. They have a great pool area and the bar is in close proximity. The property is well located an easy 5 - 10 minute walk to Tavira centre and close to restaurants and site seeing. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The whole building is beautiful and the central courtyard stunning. We stayed in room 1 which had a Juliet balcony overlooking the park and chuch at the front of the building. Pool area is lovely and relaxing. Location is excellent for a short walk into the town centre, whilst remaining quiet. Staff went out of their way to cater for us and really made the whole stay wonderfully enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent offering, fresh juices, a huge selection of cold meats and cheeses with the choice of freshly prepared omelettes etc.

Beautiful location with spotless rooms. Very friendly staff who go over and above to help out. Absolutely fabulous breakfast! Dinner also delicious and bar snacks good. Swimming pool not heated in May but swimmable if brave and on the hot days we were there. Quieter hotel, calm and relaxing, not for wild parties. Bring good, grippy walking shoes—top of hill, lots of slippy cobbles! Forget your heels unless using Uber/taxis everywhere (very good, inexpensive service in the town).

Exceeded our expectations - friendly and welcoming service, complimentary champagne reception at the pool bar, spacious & comfortable air-conditioned villa-style accomodation. 4 different pools throughout the resort with plenty of shade & seating. Romantic dining by candlelight in the Orangerie terrace, with superb locally produced food, overlooking the countryside with views of mountains & sea. Fantastic place to get away from it all, especially for couples, about 30 mins drive from Faro airport. Worth every cent - would love to visit again!

Vila Monte was absolutely beautiful! Every detail has been immaculately designed. Staff were super friendly and couldn't help enough. Facilities were amazing: 2 beautiful pools, (one with pool bar), room was fantastic with added details like sun hats to use during your stay. Activities available all complementary; tennis courts, bicycles, gym, outdoor cinema. Trip to Barra Nova beach is a must. Couldn't recommend more for a relaxing stay in Algarve :)

Look at the website, it's even nicer than it looks. Rooms are spacious, everything is clean, food is excellent, 2 good pools (shallow though), lovely areas to sit and relax round the pools, service is top notch and the gardens are very pretty. There is a private minibus/boat to their secluded beach. Easy access from Faro airport and also into Faro and the Rio Formula area. We will definitely be going back!

Perfect in every way! This is what 5 starts looks like! My husband and I were traveling for our wedding anniversary, and our Secret Suite was perfect--the private pool, the patio, the concierge, the breakfasts...it was all heaven. The hospitality is warm and down-to-earth. The food at the restaurant is amazing--including amazing vegetarian dishes. The resort includes different activities like yoga, cocktail-making classes, and wine tasting. For an unforgettable experience in the Algarve, don't hesitate--book this now!

This resort is beautiful. We were upgraded from a standard to a superior room with terrace and sitting room, sliding patio doors and king size bed. Breakfast was wonderful. Relaxing pool area and wireless internet in common areas. Quiet retreat on a manicured golf course with spa facility on site. Note that the enterance to the hotel is between the highway and the town. Location is close to fishing villages in the Algarve.

Room excellent, swimming pool clean and lovely. Really liked the bar area above the pool. Loved the breakfast and variety.

The ambience in the hotel was relaxing and very quite. We were there for long weekend. The food was very good and prices were acceptable. The Staff were friendly & helpful. Everything was so easy and effortless. A lovely pool and pool area to relax in. Lots of couches and areas to sit and relax.

Whilst it's a little way out of Tavira, it takes 4 minutes and 4 Euros in an Uber. The bedrooms are basic but clean and comfortable and all rooms have a balcony. The views from the third floor breakfast terrace is wonderful - green as far as you can look, with the sea behind. The pool area is quiet and peaceful with plenty of sunbeds. The food is good - especially the amazing buffet breakfast (which is included) - and the staff and really kind and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Asked you for two villas near each other, one with a pool and one without, however this is not possible. The pool villas are entirely separate. We were supposed to have been informed about this but we were not.. Luckily they had a pool villa vacant close to the other one and they let us have that. I think it was you who were supposed to tell us as they did not have our email address. Otherwise everything was good pwith our holiday in spite of a worring start. And at 80 plus years old you don't want that !

the house was exactly like the pictures, very clean and comfortable. The pool is big and chairs were available the whole time. The house was very close to the pool, which was great. The site is very quiet, ideal to relax. The distance to the beach is manageable if you travel with a car.

Accommodation in a lovely quiet setting. 1 minute walk to pool area, 10 minute walk to the golf course & bar/restaurant. Good golfing facilities. Friendly staff.

The Castro Marim Golf and Country Club is really a great quiet place for family vacation not far away from the ocean side. Villas are fully equipped with all the necessary staff. Swimming pools are clean and nice for both adults and kids. Moreover, the resort card provides discount on some restaurants in the area.

Elegant house, functional and good taste in furniture. Swimming pool and jacuzzi in main bathroom. One private bathroom per bedroom. Very quiet, private, and relaxing (in October at least). Mosquito nets on every window keeps them outside. Fully equipped kitchen for any need. The main building provides a variety of food.

Great local hotel within easy walking distance from the train station in Tavira. Friendly welcoming staff on arrival and throughout our 4 night stay. Comfortable modern room with smart new bathroom and balcony overlooking well kept gardens. Decent sized outdoor swimming pool for a relaxing dip on an afternoon. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, nice selection of breads and choice of local speciality cakes & pastries. Brilliant value for money but a little bit on the outskirts of town so if you are happy to stroll 15 minute on an evening to the old town then this won't be an issue.

Not sure why this hotel is only 1 star - it was better than some 3 star hotels. Mario on reception is very helpful and friendly. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay including parking and a pool. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Wifi good, shower pressure good. Breakfast ok but lots of homemade cakes which were yummy. Walk into Tavira starts on busy main road with no footpath, but its fine if you are careful. Would recommend this hotel.

The pool area is really clean and direct access to the beach. The good part was there were not almost no kids so you could relax next to the pool without screaming etc. Variety of different dishes for breakfast and dinner with a wine bottle offered by the hotel. Recommend you to reserve the free spa with a Turkish bath and sauna.

Beautiful view of ocean from balcony, and loved the boardwalk for getting to the beach. Sunset and sunrise were so welcoming… We spent a leisurely afternoon swimming and relaxing on lounge chairs by ocean and pool. Delicious brunch and appreciated the complementary bottle of wine with dinner at their picturesque beach restaurant!

This place is so modern and clean, and was like a little hub in the middle of Altura! The stunning beach is in your back garden, the food was delicious, the gardens, pool, atmosphere, spa were all beautiful, accessible and exactly what we wanted. One staff member on the front desk especially - a young lady, was so helpful, friendly and communicative and spoke excellent English for us, and all staff were helpful! The hotel facilities were excellent! The outside pool was big and had a good poolside bar. The indoor spa was beautiful - one of the best we have seen! Very well designed, with a small pool that twisted and turned into a jacuzzi, and then, to waterfall jets..gorgeous! Either end of this pool are a great sauna and steam room, both very modern and set to high temps which we love! The rooftop bar is to die for..great views and lovely music late into the night. Breakfast was first class! So much to chose from and all high quality.

The buffet breakfast had a vast variety of choices and everything was delicious! There was a piano playing and bubbly available. The outdoor pools were large and had plenty of comfortable lounge chairs with umbrellas. The staff were very personable and professional. It was great to have a balcony with a table and chairs. There was a fridge and a safe in our room. Coffee and tea and a kettle. Large nicely decorated room. The indoor pool was very relaxing and there was a sauna and a steam room. Spa services were in offer.

Great location, good parking for the hire car, lovely pool area and pool bar for drinks, staff were very friendly and helpful, good breakfast with plenty of options. Would happily return to the town and the hotel!

Spacious complex with a good size kids pool and main pool. Stairs in accommodation were tiled and very steep and narrow but other then that they were well equipped and clean

Very nice hotel in the heart of Tavira. The breakfast was very good altough very busy and few days you needed to queue to get a table from the restaurant. Pool was great and the pool bar offered very nice lunch (salads, sandwiches etc.) Drinks were reasonably priced. We had a poolside room and that was excellent as the room has straight access to poolside. The hotel is ideally located, the boats to Ilha de Tavira beach leave very close from the hotel and it is an easy walk to the restaurants and shops.

Location - Hotel is ideally located in the centre + close to the beach ferry terminus (ferries are ca$h only) Breakfast - Excellent breakfast options + although the room is very busy it was very well organized each morning. - Hot omelet / egg counter was excellent. Room - Bedroom AC was required and worked well. - Roomed cleaned daily. - Good fridge in place. Poolside - Pool area well was maintained and sunbeds plentiful. - Pool side bar food was very good quality + decent prices. - There was poolside entertainment some days + the staff seemed very enthusiastic.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the quiet room was located such that we had direct access to the pool. The room was large though the closet could have more space for clothes. The pool itself was large enough and nice. There was also a smaller pool for children which is appreciated. We also enjoyed the live music session, specially the local folk dance group!

The location is perfect to see Tavira town. The facilities within the hotel are excellent, we made really good use of the pool. The breakfast was substantial with an amazing choice. The hotel itself is absolutely spotless, beds were comfortable and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Added to all this we felt the pice was very reasonable for such a high standard of hotel. We will definitely come back again.

The apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms and that was a plus when travelling with friends. In the small kitchen you'd find a coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Loads of plates etc. The apartment was roomy and had a small balcony facing the pool. The pool area was pretty and the size of the pool was ok. Smaller pool for the children next to it. Free parking. On the main gate you can find a supermarket and next to it a restaurant with drinks and food. We didn't eat so I can't say anything about that.

We had a 2 bed apartment with a balcony over looking the pool area, very clean, lovely staff, not crowded, always a sun lounger free, bar pool, two restaurants on site plus supermarket. Shopping Centre 5 minute walk, Tavira 5 minute taxi. Perfect,quiet, relaxing family break.

Closest minimarket was quite big and there was lots of choice. Shopping centre only 10 mins walk, on the way to town where there are lots of bars & restaurants. Just off main road so easy to drive to local sites. The Ria Formosa Parque Natrurel is absolutely wonderful to explore. Fantastic beaches.

Casa da Sina is a truly exceptional place to stay. The property is unique in style and the grounds are extensive and beautiful. We loved the pool, the myriad places to explore and relax within the garden, and the incredibly well-equipped and designed kitchen. The owner Paulo gave warm communication and super helpful tips, and everyone who tended to the Casa was friendly, professional and very keen not to disturb our stay in any way. The stunning sunrises and sunsets were the icing on the cake! The location is fantastic - close enough to beaches, towns, shops - but secluded enough to allow you to feel totally away from any hustle and bustle. We will miss this slice of paradise and hope to return very soon!

We have just returned from a week stay and had a wonderful time. The villa is an amazing and we feel very lucky to have stayed here for the week. The villa is stunning, well equipped, set in fantastic grounds and located in a very quiet location. Paulo was a fantastic host too - helping us with all our questions and suggesting great local restaurants and beaches too. An amazing villa, great hosts, and a week to remember!

Quelle propriété incroyable ! Si vous recherchez un petit coin de paradis au calme, isolé sans être trop éloigné des magasins et activités/plages, n'hésitez plus. La vue est splendide. La maison est équipée de tout le nécessaire et plus encore (niveau cuisine, ustensiles, électroménager,...). La piscine est très agréable, et les innombrables chemins sinueux du domaine emmenant chacun vers différents endroits aménagés en extérieur (ou sous un dôme pour le billard) sont magnifiques a parcourir. La communication avec l'hôte (très aimable) est on ne peut plus simple, les réponses aux éventuelles questions sont données dans des délais très courts. De très bonnes recommandations également pour ce qui est des restaurants. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Good experience overall, nice touch by Monte Rei to notice my birthday based on my passport ( Thank you ). The pool side dinning, Veranda, was very good and we ate there twice.

Fabulous location, lovely staff, gorgeous villas and pool. Very quiet spot and not too full of tourists, so we felt very pampered. Food was delicious, without exception, both at the breakfast and at the restaurants.

Quiet, very clean, well maintained. Landscaping nice and continuously worked on. Beautiful and spacious villa’s with a lot of privacy. Friendly and well trained staff, maintenance issue solved within a few minutes.

This is a really Good Hotel in Tavira. Clean interior design inspired by the Moorish heritage. Located close to the market and 5 min walk to center and the ferry to the beach island. The staff is very friendly and service minded and the restaurant offers excellent food. The spa area is lovely with a nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. You can also book treatments. The outdoor pool is not heated but lovely in summertime. This hotel is very spacious so even if there are big groups of guests, you never experience a crowded feeling. Water taxi to beach great and free shuttle bus from hotel to Tavira centre but unfortunately doesn’t run Sun to Tues which was over half our stay there. Neither operate after 6pm either but only 6 euros from Tavira. Long walk to centre approx 50mins . Lots of sun beds, free towels etc ...definitely recommend at this time of year.

We loved this place. We took our 2 year old and there was plenty to do. The pool is great, plus there's a school for some activities. The buffet dinner was only average, but breakfast was really good. All staff poolside and dealing with kids were amazing. Boat trip to Tavira Island was good, we went every other day. There's also a beach just by the hotel too. Tavira the city is wonderful on an evening too.

Stayed for a family wedding. Rooms clean and comfortable. Pool, pool bar, reception and staff were all great. Very welcoming. Overall a grest weekend.

We had a very nice stay. The outdoor garden and pool area is lovely, and the boat to the beach is very convenient. We're a family of 3 and the room was a bit small. The position of the camp-bed meant we couldn't open the terrace door. Cleaning happened late in the day, sometimes as late as 7 in the evening, so we often came back to an untidy room. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was OK. We stayed B&B, and wouldn't recommend the dinner buffet - the quality does not match the price.

Have stayed here 3 times. Really nice comfortable apartments, in a attractive complex with trees and shrubs within 5 mins of Tavira, can be walked to, close to all amenities. They have a nice cafe/bar with entertainment on site, also a small supermarket on the corner which has bakery, butchers and delicatessen inside, good prices. Also has a restaurant on site but have not eaten there. There are two swimming pools and a tennis court. Apartments are spacious, clean with a balcony table and chairs. Really enjoy it here, staff friendly and helpful,

Well laid out resort with 4 swimming pools, restaurant and cocktail bar. A mini market at the beginning of the resort, well stocked with all your holidays needs.The appartment was very comfortable, very clean and sheets and towels changed on a regular basis. The resort is about a 20 minute flat walk into Tavira town, but not a very pleasant walk as there is a pavement only part of the way and some rough ground. There are local buses but don't run very regularly. We used taxis most of the time which reception very obligingly booked for us. The cost of the taxi was just over 5euros.

We had a three night stay in a studio booked and the staff at reception graciously upgraded us to a one bedroom unit with a balcony. The staff are very helpful, the grounds are very well kept. We stayed in October and were able to use the pool. It is an easy drive into town and walking is also possible. We would definitely recommend this apartment hotel complex.

WE ARRIVED EARLIER THAN ALLOTTED CHECK IN TIME BUT THAT WAS NOT A PROBLEM FOR THE GUY BEHIND RECEPTION WHO PUT OUR BAGS IN A SECURE ROOM. THE SWIMMING POOL WAS USED EVERY DAY BY THE CHILDREN WHO REALLY ENJOYED THEIR STAY THERE. THE RESTAURANT WAS EXCEPTIONAL ESPECIALLY THE NIGHT PORTUGAL WON THE EUROPEAN CUP THE NOISE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. WOULD DEFINITELY GO AGAIN

Best breakfast we had while in Portugal and stayed at 6 different places provided fresh fruit, variety of meats and cheese, many different pastries and FRESH orange juice, yoghurts and more that I’ve forgotten. Beautiful grounds with a vegetable patch and plenty of grassy secluded spots to rest in away from the pool.

The breakfast is amazing and you can have it outside in a beautiful landscape. The room was superb, with a huge terrace from where we could see the sea, the pool and the gardens. The pool is a saltwater pool and it has a nice chill atmosphere.

Quiet location in the country. Clean and relaxing swimming pool. Excellent breakfast in front of the pool.

We were greeted warmly by the property staff, given a tour of the property to point out all the amenities and where to find everything. We loved the scenery, pool, ability to order drinks from the bar as we relaxed on the veranda next to the pool, the comfort and location of the room, and the amazingly delicious breakfast spread.

Breakfast was excellant. even if there was no cooked option. Room was very good. Clean tidy and a 10 yard walk to the pool. Pool was a bit small but was cleaned every day and very handy

Uf you want yo feel like you have family go to Tavira Monte. People return here to have peace of mind. At the same time you have ultra modern facilities, deep water pool, excellent free breakfast and walkout terrace in each room. No noises, no children running around, total peaceful setting for adults, Old Tavira with its views and restaurants is just 7 min away, beach takes the same driving time. I will come back, hopefully, soon

The property's location is tranquil, peaceful and relaxing. It was extremely clean, has great rooms and the breakfast was good. The staff were attentive friendly and helpful. The pool is adequate with a good variety of seating around it.

Wonderful room, exceptionally clean, comfortable bed, beautiful garden and pool, quiet and serene location. Great breakfast buffet each morning. Host was fabulous with communication about my early arrival, I was welcomed by very friendly staff and made to feel at home instantly. I loved it so much I wanted to stay longer but it was fully booked (no surprise) I look forward to returning one day. Thankyou to all the staff and hosts 🙏

Everything about this boutique hotel was excellent!!! It was new, modern, well maintained and super clean. The pool wasn't big but it was great to cool off in.. There were also private outdoor sitting areas for each room The couple who owned and managed the property as well as their staff were so nice and helpful. They recommended a wonderful restaurant 5 minutes away.

Bea’s is very well situated in the center of Tavira, making it easy to get to any one of the great restaurants downtown as well as the ferry to the beach. The property is immaculately clean, and even though it’s on a main street, amazingly quiet. Bea was readily available, very friendly and happy to answer any and all of my questions. The shower was very good, the linens were crisp, and the mattress was really, really comfortable. There is a spot next door to get a coffee and/or breakfast and lunch. While I didn’t opt for the breakfast that Bea offered, I did get a peek and everything looked delicious. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe both at Bea’s and in the area. A wonderful place to stay if you’re looking for a base from which to explore Tavira.

I can’t recommend Bea’s B&B highly enough. The location next to the river in Tavira is absolutely perfect . The room although small was cosy and clean. The bed was really comfortable. We had the orange room which had windows overlooking the small rooftop garden. The breakfast was delicious with a choice of breads , home made preserves fruit , cereals ,cheese and meats along with bacon and eggs if wanted and freshly squeezed orange juice. All served in a light breakfast room overlooking the river . Bea is lovely , really friendly and helpful, giving a wealth of advice and suggestions for local restaurants . I’ll be highly recommending Bea’s B&B to anyone who comes to Tavira . I can’t wait for our next visit.

I recently returned from a short break in Tavira, Portugal, and I couldn't wait to share my experience at Bea Bed and Breakfast! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. Bea, the owner, is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and her tastefully furnished rooms—with stunning colors and thoughtful details in the bathroom that any woman would appreciate—made my stay extra cozy. The breakfast spread was absolutely delightful, offering plenty of delicious options to kickstart the day. The location by the Gilão River is perfect for exploring Tavira, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and beautiful sites nearby. I highly recommend Bea Bed and Breakfast for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay in Tavira.

Tavira is great for a small town vacation made better by a super beach and the perfect stay at Bea's B&B. From our first welcome when we arrived at Bea’s B&B, I knew we’d be in for a wonderful stay. We were too early for check-in, so Bea stored our luggage while we went a grabbed a bite to eat. Shortly after, she contacted me to let us know our room was ready. Bea’s place was super convenient, close to great restaurants, shops, and the ferry to Tavira Island. Our room was sparkling clean, the air con was quiet, and a number of small touches in our room and the B&B shows that Bea puts every effort into making your stay enjoyable. We opted for having breakfast and sitting in front of the window in the breakfast room each morning was such a lovely start to our day. Bea offered a great variety at breakfast which included homemade jam, locally grown fresh fruit, and customized coffees. Everything was fresh and delicious. A truly wonderful stay made all the better by Bea’s great hospitality.

Welcoming chic place 5 mins stroll from the river and town centre. Step through the front door to a surprisingly elegant reception and lounge. There’s an honesty bar and a roof terrace with views over the town. We stayed in Bougainvillia a double room on the first floor. The bathroom was large with a double walk in shower and wonderfully large soft towels. The bedroom had a hush quiet ac unit and a balcony overlooking the quiet street. Breakfast is a tasty continental and you won’t go hungry. Best of all are the people there. Philomena and Joshi are warm and welcoming to everyone. Go yourself and find out.

What a little gem of a place to stay in Tavira! It is off an old narrow street in a well renovated building with lovely interior. We had a good sized room with a good large bed for the two of us on the lowest floor near the front door. The door is coded for entrance. A wide staircase immediate to the door takes you up to the main level where a large sitting room, bar, dining area, kitchen and outside area are immaculately clean and welcoming. It is an honesty bar and you can take almost any kind of drink you might want to mix, up the outer staircase to the roof terrace. Careful of the sun; there are umbrellas for shade. Philomena was most welcoming and helpful. She speaks several languages. Breakfast is wonderfully served by Joshi from Nepal and two young women. They also clean the rooms. There is easy walking everywhere of interest in Tavira. We took the ferry to the island for one day. Would suggest the Bossa Rio for dinner.

Philomena and her staff could not have been more helpful, they were exceptional. The room was spacious and clean with goof facilities and a large comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent. The honesty bar was good. Beach towels were provided on request. The location is very convenient, close to the centre of town and many good restaurants. It was also quiet.

The warmest of welcomes from Filomena into a stunning property. The lounge is magnificent! My room was very clean. The sheets and towels smelt fresh and were soft. Nice strong shower. Little wash line in shower to dry clothes/swim gear, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was continental and really fresh and filling. Served with a smile and exceptional politeness from all of the team. The honesty bar was well stocked. The roof terrace was a good place to sit and chat to other guests. Really well located, a 5 minute walk to the main areas around the bridge. Filomena really is one in a million. Her kindness and care feels like a big hug. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She is an exceptional host. Highly recommend. I will certainly return. Thank you for a wonderful 4 days.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tavira House. Mena was amazing and could not have been more helpful. She greeted us upon arrival, was able to give us our choice of room, gave us ideas of what to do and where to eat and more. Breakfast was perfect and more than enough - we wrapped up what we did not eat for lunch on the beach one day. Jojo, who also worked there was super friendly and so courteous and responsive. Rooms were clean, shower was one of the best during our visit in Portugal and Spain, beds super comfy. Terrace at the top was lovely and a nice place to relax with a glass of wine after a busy day. Overall we would highly recommend Tavira House and would definitely stay again.

The staff were very accommodating helpful and friendly! We were located in a quiet area away from the town, but at the same time it was very convenient and access to the town was very easy with a 10-15 min walk down some steps.

Excellent guest house, with nice efficient staff, good pool area with quality beds and shades, bar with honesty box and games area, we stayed in room 7 a suite with private patio area, quality linen and towels in the room and pool towels available, perfect view of Tavira and out to sea, it’s 15 min walk to town , down 120 steps and then a gentle river walk as long as you don’t have mobility issues this is a perfect property in a nice residential area with parking

Everything was perfect! Lovely and helpful hosts, wonderful views from the terrace, good sized swimming pool, easy walking distance to the centre. The whole place was furnished with love and care, there's even a pool table in the communal are.

The guesthouse is situated in a quiet residential area with fabulous views across Tavira looking down the river towards the sea. We felt really welcome and comfortable there. A lovely outside terrace with pool and honesty bar means you can have a drink before heading out for the evening. Tavira centre is a 10 minute walk and has loads of restaurants and bars to choose from. The staff at Tavira Terrace are all ver friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

We loved our stay at Tavira Terrace. We stayed for 4 nights. You get an instant feeling of home when you enter. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. Big spacious and clean rooms. Amazing pool to cool off during the day. Fresh breakfast was served on the terrace with a beautiful view.

The building is located on the tidelands, which made for a unique and memorable stay. Although the surrounding area is quite rustic, the windows had screens, which made the stay more comfortable. The room had a small terrace with a nice view. The staff were responsive and helpful. There is a car park on the premises, making it easy to park. For such a small town, there were more restaurants and bars than we expected, so finding a place to eat was not a problem.

Obviously I had seen photo's of Moinhos das Mares,but when I actually saw my room, I had goosebumps...the room was spectacular! Everything you could possibly want from a holiday room perspective....great views of the birds on the river,very quiet and peaceful, comfortable bed and lovely bedding. The room has been designed extremely well (must have a woman's touch haha), and there is tea/coffee and a small fridge. I cannot imagine anyone NOT enjoying their stay in one of these rooms.

Great setting on the edge of the salt flats, close to the restaurants and the beach. Fuseta is a small, working town, which we much prefer to the resorts. We saw flamingoes, egrets, herons and many other birds just from sitting outside the room. The accommodation is rustic and charming. Rooms were basic but comfortable, great to have complimentary water, a kettle and a small fridge. Good modern bathroom. Working aircon. Mosquito screens and shutters on all windows. Private parking. Lovely little roof terrace. Good breakfast choices.

My apartment was very clean and comfortable. The shared outdoor area was very nice and peaceful for relaxing in. The location is perfect as it's very central and a 5 minute walk to the ferry to the island, which has an amazingly beautiful beach. Junior and Diana were absolutely lovely and very helpful. Junior's restaurant downstairs is delicious and very handy, book in in advance as it's very popular, though the well sealed windows mean you can't hear a thing inside. A lucky find and I'll definitely be back.

Everything, Junior very attentive, as always, accommodation very comfortable, and has everything you need, there's even a nice wee terrace to sit out on to enjoy .... The Castle Restaurant, which is directly below accommodation is amazing, but must book, food mmmmmm..... Location is so central, I did a lot of walking along nature reserve, to nearby wee villages.... oh and ferry to beach ⛱️... definitely a must .... everyone so friendly and helpful.... Junior is the perfect host....

Discovery Tavira is well situated, within easy walking distance of the most interesting areas of Tavira for tourists. The flat is clean and the wifi worked well. The cooking facilities were good for simple meals, such as breakfast. It is above a restaurant (the owner). I ate there once and the meal was good. Decent bathroom, good shower. There is an area where you can sit outside, though why would you when the town centre is so close? The staff are generally helpful and friendly. Despite being quite central, it is in an area that is quiet at night. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would, although I have probably seen all I want to see in Tavira after a week. It is a nice town and worth visiting, but there are other places to visit.

It's a lovey outside terrace, you can hear the birds and the cuckoo in the morning, and it was really nice to mix with other travellers. Superb location central to centre of Tavira, very close to castle and main churches, as well as all restaurants, train station and bus station. The host was extremely helpful providing extra lighting during powercut as well as useful taxi information. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beds comfy and there was a microwave, fridge, coffee machine and kettle plus lots of crockery. Complimentary beer and wine was also provided. The outside seating area was sheltered with a range of comfy seating.

The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was equipped enough to cook a meal and it was a quiet place to spend the night. We were cycling and there was space to store our bikes by the pool. This might be trickier in summer if people are using the pool though.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is immaculately clean. The location for us is great with a 10-15 min walk to the beach and quay and a 5 min walk to the main square. Some nice places to eat dotted about town all at very reasonable prices. The new pool is a nice addition to the property since our last visit. It's worth mentioning that the walk back from the square and beach has some quite steep bits or stairs involved if that could be a problem for you. The ferry trip out to the island beach is a must for any visitor to Fuzeta

This place is fabulous. The apartment is beautiful, the swimming pool is fantastic, the terrace is perfect and the whole area is stunning. The location couldn’t be better, just a few steps from local restaurants serving THE BEST food and only a short walk to the sandy beach. The people of Fuseta are amazing and full of heart ❤️ There’s a special charm to the village that’s hard to put into words. You feel at home the moment you arrive and the peaceful, soulful atmosphere stays with you long after you leave. I already miss it and can’t wait to be back. Thank you so much.

The food is of an extremely high standard. There is a good variety of healthy foods for breakfast and the dinner we had on the first evening was exceptional. We had the Africa room, which was very well decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable once in it. The bedding was of good quality. The awimming pool was very refreshing with a lovely decked area for relaxing/sunbathing

The staff was incredible. So friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was the best, and the chef’s surprise dinner was one of the best meals we’ve had EVER. The room was comfortable, and the bedding was nice. The pool area was quiet and relaxing. The rooftop terrace had great views of the city.

The hotel is in a good location, just a stone's throw from shops and restaurants in Tavira. Our room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for our short break. If the weather had been better we would've definitely enjoyed the outside terrace and pool areas. Breakfast was excellent - very good quality and plenty of choice. Really nice for it to be served to order rather than a buffet too. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

We loved the property, the name is very fitting! The staff were all friendly and helpful. We were in room 14 (Marrakesh) overlooking the pool. It was comfortable with plenty of room for 2 of us. A decent sized closet with shelves and hanging bar and a drawer under the sink to store toiletries. Breakfast was quite a treat! As was the daily cake offered in the afternoon. It was a great location to explore the town from and easy to get to the boat that takes you to the beach. We highly recommend a stay here and will definitely book again if we return to Tavira.

The hotel is beautiful. It is thoughtfully designed, with modern amenities and also reminds you of its history. It made for a luxurious stay without ever feeling stuffy, which we really appreciated with two young boys. The staff is welcoming and helpful, and the food is delicious. Our room with the “children’s bedroom/playroom” on the mezzanine and the private pool on our patio was just amazing. The baby could be inside napping and the rest of us enjoyed the beautiful weather. We’ve recommended it to everyone since we got home!

Location is perfect. The staff are really kind and helpful, all extremely friendly. The shared facilities are very clean and a few friendly cats greet you outside. Bus station is within minutes as is the roman bridge. The steps to access are not as bad as you imagine. WiFi works well. Overall a great place to stay and a very large terrace with 360° views. Fridge has an allocated section for your food if you prefer to cook or prepare food to go. Everything is on your doorstep step, great for solo travellers and opportunities to meet other guests. Board games, books and free water. Access is from the front between the bar and ice creams/gelo. Will definitely return.

Fantastic location overlooking the square and river in the beautiful town of Tavira, beautiful views from every window including the bathroom. Great to have use of the communal kitchen, garden and roof terrace. Our room was roomy and spacious. Absolutely loved this accommodation and exceeded our expectations. Miguel was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. During our 4 day stay our room was cleaned each day while we were out. The air con was very good and kept our room cool and comfortable at all times. The shutters kept out all noise and light when closed ensuring great nights sleep throughout our stay. There was loud music until late as it was Tavira Day celebrations but as soon as we shut the shutters we couldn't hear a thing. There is a nice car park, free to use a few minutes walk from property along the river and past the bus station. We were sad to leave and will definitely stay again

What an incredible stay!!! Miguel was amazing, he waited late for us to arrive, and even surprised us with a room upgrade and gift for our anniversary, which was so special and exciting for us. When we asked for some dinner recommendations, Miguel gave us a very detailed explanation with a map, and we ended up going to one which ended up being the best dinner in our whole trip across Spain and Portugal!! (Terraze, highly recommended). The room was spacious, quiet, and clean, and best location in Tavira! Thanks again for the amazing hospitality!

So central, everything was so close. On the main square, so ask for a room at the back if there is going to be a stage in the square, my room was at the back and I heard nothing. My room was also very big and full of light. The bed was cosy, the air con quiet and efficient. The bathroom was huge and the shower efficient. Staff friendly, rooms clean. Roof terrace huge with a lot of chairs, but could do with some plants and some umbrellas.

Cool and quirky place, right in the heart of Tavira, right on the Plaza da Republica, right in front of the Old Bridge. Lots of space in the room, ample bathroom, nice shower. Beautifully refinished old parquet flooring. A kitchen down the hall was available for all the guests, including laundry facilities. A roof-top terrace and lower terrace for anyone wanting to go outside but not go out. Rooms are identified with a painting of a local bird instead of room numbers (cool and quirky!). Lots of restaurants, bars, and cafes in the area, on either side of the river. Free parking is available (but in demand) upstream a little bit, adjacent to the bus station (5 min walk) as well as another lot directly across the river from that one.

Very nice gardens with a nice swimming pool. The buffet breakfast was excellent and we could eat outside by the pool. The room was comfortable and clean. The lounge and common areas are nice and well appointed. The share kitchen was clean and fully equipped.

The bedrooms are very good, and the house is easy to find, the outdoor patio by the pool is amazing during day and night. Very relaxing and quiet, with a beautiful sky to look at. Great size pool. Great breakfast. Family feeling house, well decorated. Very well maintained.

Everything was perfect! The Casa de Cacela is a gem, with beautiful accomodations, amazing swimming pool and a great host. We enjoyed everything. The opportunity to also be able to use the kitchen and have dinner overlooking the pool was a nice touch.

It was a delight to eat it on the shaded terrace. There was plenty of outside seating for everyone, a beautiful pool, a shared kitchen, a bar and our hopes of a peaceful and relaxing weekend were met 100%.

It was my first meeting with Portugal, The Monte de Lagoa was the excellent place for the beginning of discovering the Portugal. The discreet charm of a former rural farm transformed into a tourist gem is delightful. Fully equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils, gas stove allow you to realize any of your culinary fantasies. Two bedrooms, a cozy lounge, a spacious bathroom with a shower in the house, and an ocean view pool outside - all this allows you to comfortably spend time in this location.

The property and site were just phenomenal - the villas had real authentic and rustic Portugese charm, and you can see how much thought has gone into decorating each of them individually with such lovely and unique details. The view from the rooftop of our villa was stunning, and it was well-equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. The double bed was highly comfortable, too, and there was plenty of space for storage for us while we were there. Pilar could not have done more for us at all, even down to stocking our fridge so our toddler could eat when we arrived after a late flight. She is a truly exceptional host! The villa complex is a great distance from the local town and beach, and we were happy to stay local and walk everywhere as we wanted a relaxing family holiday to recharge our batteries. If you wanted to go further afield, renting a car or bicycles would be more beneficial, but Pilar even had recommendations for those, too! The plunge pool has incredible views of the sea, and is in really good condition with some chairs, loungers and cushions around it too. There was also a barbecue, launderette and airers available free of charge so that we could do emergency washing and drying (so, so helpful with a toddler in tow!). Thank you so much, again, for such an incredible stay. We will most definitely be back!!

Monte de Lagoa consists of a group of charming rustic farm buildings that have been renovated to a very high standard. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated and full of character. They are in a lovely location, just a short walk to the beach, Altura centre and several restaurants. It was very nice being able to sit outside on our terrace and see the sea. Pilar was an exceptionally charming and helpful host and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Very dog friendly, with a nice field to walk around.

Monte da Lagoa is the ideal place to watch the time go by and relax. We stayed in the studio, which was very spacious and comfortable for two. We had everything we needed to cook and make our own meals. We had our meals sitting outdoors every night. Local shops were 10 minutes walking or 5 with a bicycle, as well as the beach. Restaurants were also very nearby. Pilar is an excellent host, and she made everything to make us comfortable! We will definitely be back!

Lovely location and dinner and breakfast were delicious. Such kind and helpful owners. Lots of animals which our children liked. We enjoyed a great trip to the Salt Spa near town. Lovely, lovely pool.

What a wonderful peaceful Oasis. We really enjoyed our stay with here. My children enjoyed feeding the animals and the welcoming nature of the staff. An extremely thoughtful place with water guns for the Children by the pool as well as lilo's under first aid kit in your room. All the little details that make your holiday special.

Breakfast is very good. The swimming pool is great. We had dinner both nights of our stay and the food was very good as were the staff, especially Maria and her music choices.

We were made to feel very welcome by Jose and Maria Helena for our 3 night stay - they were very flexible with our check in times. During the check in our hosts gave us detailed information of thing to do, places to visit and restaurant recommendations over a glass of wine and delicious home made cake. The accommodation is very well located and the sunny courtyard area with its shady seating very peaceful for sitting and relaxing. Everywhere is beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. There is an honesty bar for soft and alcoholic drinks. The hosts “go over and beyond” to ensure that their guests are happy and content. AzulSul is a gem! Thank you Jose and Maria Helena.

Location was great. Near to central area and river. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and most historic sites. Rooms were thought fully decorated. Quiet with a pleasant courtyard for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Jose, our host had many useful tips and suggestions.

A little oasis in Tavira. Beautifully converted family home with 3 rooms for guests situated around a gorgeous courtyard. Lots of design details, comfortable, very pretty rooms which make the stay warm and welcoming. Thoughtful facilities such as tea and coffee making, delicious cakes provided for the quests and shared kitchen with honesty bar, umbrellas to take to the beach and a fantastic host Jose who provides so much detail and recommendations about the area you feel immediately at home.

Jose treats you like you are a long lost , valued member of the family. He is the perfect host with his warm hospitality and his deep knowledge of the area. The location is terrific, easy walking distance to the centre and the ferry for Isla Tavira. The house is a beautifully restored family home and there are only 3 guest rooms. We met the other guests and in a small way became friends. We ate our breakfast in the central courtyard each day and came home to it each night for coffee by the candle lit ambiance. Tranquility ! Tavira is a great town for history buffs or beach goers. Jose will lend you self guided walking tour books that could keep you going for many days. This is one of the few places we have stayed where we may return primarily for the hotel. If we were returning to Tavira and Azul Sul was sold out we would likely change our dates just to be able to stay there.

Azul Sul is a lovely place to stay. The house and courtyard are very pretty and an ideal place to relax. The rooms are beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The hosts are charming, welcoming and generous with their recommendations, information and hospitality. The location is perfect - a quiet street within easy walking distance of any of the attractions or restaurants that you might want to visit. Tavira is a charming town with lovely squares and churches and a castle plus several museums. We didn’t need a car. One day we had lunch at Santa Luzia, a small fishing village 1 km along the coast and then walked back into town past orange, lemon and avocado trees. Azul Sul is the perfect place to stay.

Additional services were on offer, that we hadn't expected: food available to buy at reasonable prices at lunch time. Tea and coffee-making facilities available all day in breakfast area. A bigger place than we expected, but still with a personal touch. Very well located in centre of town. Close to cafés, restaurants, historical monuments, shops, river and ferry to Tavira Island and beach. We asked for a quiet room and that is what we were given.

Amazing property! The staff are local people fro Tavira with a beautiful passion for their hometown. They shared tipps for restaurants and activities to do with us and were super helpful all the time. The rooms are beautiful with nice little details. The house is right next to the castle with a beautiful terrace as well. And the highlight for us was the breakfast buffet with homemade food every food (the best breakfast we’ve had so far in a hotel or vacation property)! We would 100% recommend this place 🙌

Breakfast was great, my children loved cake for breakfast! There was nothing to fault about the hotel at all, the small pool made a great “plunge pool” as it was unsurprisingly not warm in February! Tavira is a lovely town for exploring this part of Portugal, with Fuzeta and Olhao not far too. Could not recommend this hotel enough to anyone.

The hotel is beautiful and we loved having the garden view and made use of the sunny courtyard and plunge pool. The breakfast was exceptional and I loved the linen and China. The daily cake was such a treat. Member of staff Monica was particularly friendly and helpful - thanks to all the staff

Location is great. At the end of a pedestrian area within seconds walk of restaurants. There’s a wonderful restaurant right outside the front door. The hotel has only 5 rooms and is nice and quiet. Don’t be put off by first impressions of the outside. It’s a 17th century house with a cute little rear courtyard and splash pool.

A quaint hotel in a historic building full of interesting wood work and Portuguese tiles and art. The hotel is located right on river, easy walking distance to nearby shops and restaurants, and close to a large free parking lot. Our room was clean and comfortable, with fresh, clean, high quality linens on the bed, and with a large balcony overlooking the town. The room was quiet, dark, and comfortable at night. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - a real pleasure. The best part of all was the breakfast which is served in the adjacent restaurant - eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruits, etc. What a treat! We would stay here again for sure.

It overlooks the canal and has the most amazing restaurants surrounding it (do your research). Rooms are basic, but with this in mind, everything else is very good. Front facing rooms over the canal have a pretty view but can be a little noisy. Quiet rooms at the back I found were better, with an all day sun terrace overlooking rooftops. Noise does travel through the rooms due to the (beautiful) traditional terracotta tiles (and specially if you have noisy inconsiderate guests in the room next door). Breakfast was adequate, quite substantial, fresh and pretty much everything you need for a basic breakfast with good ingredients. If traditional and authentic is what you are looking for, then this is the place to stay in Tavira. If, however Hotel standards (a little more sterile in my opinion) is what you are looking after, then look at Hotels. Maria, the Guest House Manager runs the establishment perfectly. Book early if you want a good deal.

We only stayed one night, prior to moving to other accommodation, which was not available on time. I booked, last minute and my expectations were not especially high. The hotel was very reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. The bedroom was fairly compact, but had a roomy balcony. Bathroom was good, with a powerful shower. The situation, right next to the river, was great, within easy walking distance for bars and restaurants. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was available, but we did not partake - it looked fine - self service continental with fresh fruit etc. I would happily return to the hotel, for a short break.

Location is excellent great view of the river and beyond. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast just coffee each morning but what was on offer looked good ( I am not a breakfast person)

This hotel is in a fantastic location. On the riverside and within easy walking distance of restaurants and the centre of town. Newly decorated (or so it feels), the place is spotless. And it has a lift. We occupied a larger room on the first floor. Not overlooking the river which didn't matter to us. Very quiet at night.Good functional bathroom. Juliette balcony. We visited mid October so not high season but still plenty to see and the weather was great. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The hostel is well located, near everything: The old town, bars, restaurants, supermarkets Pingo Doce, Lidl, etc It's very impressive, beautiful architecture and you almost feel as being in a five star hotel, to be honest! It's nice and quiet, close to all the main tourist Tavira attractions. I slept like a baby, due to the absolute silence. I was impressed in a very good way. I would stay there again! I would recommend to friends and family!! The staff was very polite, extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was abundant and delicious: fruits, yoghurt, all kind of coffee and tea, etc You will be amazed.

This is very beautiful place if you want to be in the village, close to nature, with view to the ocean. Everyday we got cleaning in the room, fresh towels, delicious breakfast, amazing pool. Highly recommend this place!

The room have great size, the bed is super comfortable and the view to the pool is very nice and beautiful. The breakfast is very good, and the guy who took care of it was very friendly. We also enjoy the quiet and the tranquility of the property. The pool is good sized and has great sun exposure.

The owner was so welcoming and helpful, he went out of his way to accommodate my dietary requirements for breakfast. The whole place is beautiful and so peaceful. My room was really spacious with a fridge and a lovely private patio outside. The ensuite shower room was clean and the shower was lovely. The pool was clean and lovely and the views were amazing. I didn’t want to leave!

This place was amazing! Very relaxing, quiet and clean! The pool area is very nice and beautiful. The staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious and so filling! It includes some fresh fruits, croissants, bread, eggs, ham and cheese, butter and jam, coffee and fresh orange juice. I would happily come back there :)

Pedro is an excellent host. Always smiling and happy to help with any questions you may have. The four bedroom property is clean, with a large lounge and TV area, plus a large roof with sun loungers, seats and a shaded area. The views from the roof are amazing with panoramic views out to sea, beyond the lovely little town of Fuseta and the dunes along the coast. The property offers a large, well equipped shared kitchen, that is clean and well organised for storing food. The balcony outside the kitchen is a good size, with plenty of seats, with a view along the coast beyond a small, well maintained olive grove. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, with well maintained fittings, TV and plenty of hanging space. The train station is very close by and Fuseta is a small, friendly town, with a wide range of local restaurant and cafe options, unspoilt by the big chain outlets. The main square is busy and very friendly, with many options for local cafes and bars.

Beautiful space where we stayed for a week in early sept. Stunning view from the rooftop, with other lovely shared areas to sit and have breakfast before heading out for the day or a drink in the evening and enjoy the sunset. The staff were super friendly and explained everything so well. The cleaner came in throughout the week for the shared areas and cleaned our room halfway through our stay giving us fresh towels. The bathroom in our room was modern and recently renovated and the room had a super comfy bed and pillows, blackout blinds and AC. Very good location less than 10 minutes walk into fuseta town square, with the train station less then 5 minutes walk and a minimart also nearby for groceries. Superb location for a quiet relaxing holiday with easy access to the beach or other neighbouring towns by train. Great value for money and I would defnitely reccomend this place to a friend.

Nice, clean, spacious house with everything you need. Our room was very spacious with ensuite bathroom. Loved the roof terrace with views to the sea. Nice sun trap outside the kitchen for breakfast. Communal spaces clean and tidy with allocated space in the kitchen for your personal food etc. Quiet location close to station, town, cafés, supermarket and Ria Formosa cycleway. Overall excellent stay and great value for money. Thank you😃

Well equipped and exceptionally clean. Staff really helpful and friendly. Quiet neighbourhood close to the train station and just a short walk to the beach and the village centre where there are lots of good restaurants.

The guest house is located 5 minutes away walking from the fluvial beach, a couple more minutes walking and there is a boat that travels between the village and the island very frequently. The island has a long strand of beach as well. The house is fully equipped for cooking in, and there is a small mini market with just the essentials less the 5 minutes away. There is a much larger supermarket on the other side of the village maybe 10/15 minutes walking. There are some nice cafes and restaurants in the village as well. The house has 4 rooms so I often had the house to myself which was great since I had to work remotely for a couple days. Good internet connection. There are a couple common areas, one I particularly enjoyed was the rooftop with a view of the fluvial beach, there are some sofas and a canopy to comfortably sit up there. If you have a car (which I did based on previous experience with poor public transport in the region) there is space right in front of the house to park at least 3 cars. An amazing place to relax.

Vila Fuzeta is very clean and well maintained, the owner takes great pride in looking after his guests, we enjoyed the personal service and were made to feel very welcome and cared for. The location was perfect for us. There is a train station 10mins walk which gave us a good chance to explore the Algarve. Tavira approx 15mins by train. Fuseta is a very traditional unspoilt town, approx 15mins walk away with a good variety of restaurants. The nearest beach is approx 15-20mins walk. The salt pool and grounds were lovely , well looked after and peaceful.

Valter and Jessica are the most amazing hosts in the world, they make you feel at home all the time, glad to meet people like them. Amazing pool, beautiful property, relaxing like anything else. Very close to the beach and nearby restaurants, everything we could ask for.

Enjoyed our stay at vila Fuzeta very much! Valter is a really great host, everything is super nice and clean. Quiet place with a nice pool and good breakfast. Spacious room with a firm bed. We rented a car to visit other towns and beaches.

Located very near the center and the beach. The car stay parked in the garage all the time. It's a place only two floors and parking (on the -1 ), the access we may go trough stairs or lift. Cleaning and changing of towels was done frequently. On the back, a garden with palm trees a yard and a good pool

Very easy self-check in experience. The host has promptly reached out to us to provide us the steps and all details needed for a comfortable stay and even offered an earlier check-in around 12 pm. The place was clean and well equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The apartment is in a very quiet area and the swimming pool was a nice refreshing area to enjoy.

The train system to get to the beach was very nice and extremely scenic. The pool was very well maintained and clean. Loved having the ability to run to the little grocery store on the premises of the hotel to make a meal or go to the snack bar or restaurant. We stayed in the comfort suite and it was perfect.

Very clean and quite comfortable room. The “small town” is very cute and very well kept, with a great pool and free access to the little cute train that takes you to the gorgeous Praia do Barril. The restaurant is also very cosy and the food we had was delicious.

Stayed here for one night before moving on to tavira. Beautiful place. Safe for children. You would need a car or bicycle hire as its remote. Swimming pool and restaurant on site and very secure natural area.

Really nice pool with great facilities such as a supermarket. Really close to the beach. Particularly enjoyed the free train to the beach.

Pool was not functional, but they had access to the beach on a small train.

Had a gorgeous two night stay here, we felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast, dinner and lunch were so delicious and presented with such care and attention, each felt like a well thought out tasting menu! Our accommodation was 10 out of 10, beautifully decorated rooms with very comfy beds. The outdoor areas are stunning, the old olive trees, the pool area, the bar - as soon as we arrived we instantly relaxed in this little haven and really didn't want to leave.

Breakfast was amazing! Amazing fresh juice, bread, cheese, meat and fruit and then custom baked good, coffee and eggs Property was full but never felt busy-a true oasis Pool was nice but nothing too fancy, great place to relax with comfort and quick drive to Tavira

Superb pool - very clean and slightly heated. Excellent breakfast - good variety - fruit, yogurt, granola, eggs, pancakes, meats and cheeses and daily cake and good coffee. Chef's dinner - meat and fish were both excellent. Bed really comfortable and good pillows!

The staff were really friendly and helpful, organising activities for us and helping us get the most out of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was absolutely delicious. The pool area was lovely and everything was beautifully decorated. The massages were amazing. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer, we would love to return another day.

Beautiful setting, the pool was a great temperature, the restaurant did delicious breakfast and supper and it worked really well for us with our young baby, the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating.

It was a very relaxing place to stay . We enjoyed the adjacent courtyard where we could sit at tables outside and also the pretty upstairs terrace which had a great view with tables chairs, sun loungers and a day bed. The towels and linen were of very good quality and the rooms were spotless.Paola included some very nice welcoming touches such as filtered water, milk,olive oil and bread butter and honey and jam for our breakfast with a lovely selection of teas. In the bathroom was also provided ,quality body wash and moisturiser. The rooms were well decorated with a lovely natural style. The location is also ideal and easy walkable to cafes restaurants and ferry. The bus stop is also walkable. Tavira was a very relaxing and beautiful place to stay and the beach easily reached by ferry.

The house and room were spotless. Lovely decor and very comfy bed. Paola was so helpful, welcoming and friendly. Her staff were so nice and helpful. Everything I needed was there. The roof top patio was gorgeous with fabulous views of Tavira. This B&B is run with loving care and shows great care and respect for guests and their needs. I will definitely love to stay there again when I reurn to Tavira.

Wonderful place to stay in the heart of Tavira. Our 'classic" room was so comfortable and the small terrace outside was perfect for breakfast (provided on the first day, then available to order after that. It was really lovely). There's a wonderful terrace on the roof with tables chairs and sunbeds. Perfect for evening drinks with views over the town and river.

Spacious apartment in a central location by the river. Paola, the owner, has so much attention to detail and lots of extras were included in the room. Fresh coffee, 3 varieties of loose tea and water replenished every day. There was even a complimentary tray of food in the room on arrival. Good quality toiletries and decent hairdryer also provided. 2 minute walk to get the ferry to the beach. Lots of choice of restaurants on either side of the river.

The property is located in a convenient part of town along a small street running parallel to the river. We were in what's called the 'Blue room' junior suite. The lounge and bedroom were good-sized but the kitchenette was rather cramped. The owner had provided bread, butter, jam, honey and one or two other things for our first morning's breakfast. The apartment was very clean and had been maintained to a good standard. Wifi was on a cable network so provided excellent download speeds, although connectivity was occasionally an issue. All the apartments have access to the terrace on the roof which was a wonderful space in order to take advantage of the glorious Tavira weather.

This boutique hotel is just a few minutes from the river and a ten minute stroll to the busiest part of town with all the bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel sits discretely off the road and is very calm and relaxing. There are lots of nooks and crannies to chill in. The staff are really friendly and so helpful. The kitchen/dining area is also very welcoming and staff will prepare hot food for you alongside the buffet style array of fruits, cereals and bread. A lot of the fruit is grown on the property. I had an early flight on my last day and they kindly prepared a breakfast pack to take with me. I really loved my stay here and I have already booked for next year.

Breakfast was really fresh and good. The hotel is very nice and well appointed. The room is small but comfy. Air conditioning was good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The town is small, so the hotel is well located, just few minutes from the restaurants and the river.

The breakfast was fabulous: healthy, delicious, creative. The location was in a quiet area slightly removed from the city centre, but only a few minutes walk to wonderful restaurants.

Delightful staff , excellent breakfast prepared with care . Fresh produce beautifully presented . Lovely private garden planted nicely .

Most beautiful place we ever been to! Lovely hosts Agostinho and Ofelia that were really helpful with everything.. They made our stay even more beautiful. Luxury and nicely served breakfast including homemade orange juice and cheeses, that was top on the top :) Amazingly clean and nice rooms with very comfy beds. Shared kitchen was well equipped and there was coffee machine for free usage. Pool and terrace with wonderul view, watching sunrise and sunset on one spot, that was true beauty! Wish we could stay longer! But we will come back one day again. This place is also very quiet and and its the last building on the road, so none is passing around and disrupt the quiet place. Wish I could move there :) Thank you A & O ;)

A clean and beautiful house, furnished with attention to detail and in a very quiet location in the hills, just a few kilometers from supermarkets, beaches, and restaurants. The owners are wonderful people and made our stay completely comfortable from day one to last day . I highly recommend it if you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy the starry sky in the evening and a beautiful view in the morning. A car is required to get around and enjoy the wonderful Algarve area, both east and west.
